The fact that you get offered a glazed donut as soon as you walk in certainly doesnt hurt either.. my husband and I got a few glazed, a raspberry & lemon jelly, a cherry cameltoe, and a strong pimphand!!! (No, no misspelling there, folks!)Awesome friendly staff, and humor abound! You guys rock!

Potato based donuts were heavy and taste amazing! The owner was there, I appreciate that he has pride in his business. I am a Krispy Kreme fan, but these donuts (& giant cinnamon roll) definitely have won me over.

I have been intending to write this review for quite a while. Every time that I go in there it is the same, superbly over the top service and spectacular donuts. These are genuinely nice folks and make the best donuts around. If there are donut awards out there somewhere, they should get all of them.

Came from Michigan to visit friends and they took me here. Owner was AMAZINGLY friendly and gave us samples. Good deal on the donuts, too. The coolest - I’ve been looking for a potato-based donut all over Michigan and found it here. He even told me how to transport them so they’ll stay fresh for tomorrow. Great find!!

The donuts were just okay. The glazed were the best but the powdered jelly, Boston creme, and apple fritter were dry and didnt taste good. The staff was friendly but the state of the facility was honestly poor. The kitchen which is widely exposed looked quite gross. The equipment also looked like it hadnt been properly cleaned. Ive been to several other donut shops like missys and hurts when they are fresh. They were a lot better and cleaner than this facility. I dont mind paying 13+ dollars for 8 donuts but they better be fresh and delicious. Sadly they were not. I went in the morning. The family looked like nice people but I will never return to this place. Just not worth anymore than a 5 min drive and I drove 40 minutes because of their rank in the states.

My my my…. I love donuts so I’ve had a few in my day. These are the most AMAZING donuts around. Perfect texture and sweetness and the potato base makes it so much easier on my stomach. I doubt I’ll ever eat donuts elsewhere.

These people are awesome!!!!Went in leas than an hour ago and asked about making a special type of doughnut for my daughters 16th birthday.Not only did they step to and made it with smile and a thank you but, it also tasted better than the ones we had originally tried to purchase from a national chain!!!Again many many thanks for for making my daughters birthday amazing and hopes that you guys stay around for a long long time.

My favorite donut place in OKC! Not over priced like a lot of the other places and the staff is so lovely. I’m usually a fan of weird, fun flavors but nothing beats a traditional glazed donut and apple fritter from Polar Donuts.

What to say about this Jewel of a Donut shop? The donuts are absolutely amazing - they use a potato bread so they are almost always soft and doughy! The staff is always so friendly and kind and they have a wide range of fritters, long johns, and donuts. I go almost every Sunday and they offer a free glazed donut usually fresh out of the oven. Very reasonable prices! Absolutely fantastic.

I went to Polar Donuts this morning for the first time and let me tell you, I have NEVER had such a friendly encounter at a donut shop or really any business. The people there are amazing AND their donuts are perfect! One person said the AppleFritter was dry but let me tell you, it was most definitely not! It was moist and yummy, I highly recommend this place and will most certainly be returning😌😋😋

This place lives up to all of the 5-star reviews posted! Donuts are delicious and the staff was awesome. They gave each one of us a free glaze donut, which thrilled my kids because I insisted they could only have one. Lol! Also, the chocolate long johns are the largest ones we have ever had. To say that this place makes amazing donuts is a true understatement. They have a very simple selection but you dont need a complicated menu when it comes to donuts. From the regular and twist glazed ones to the chocolate longjohns and peach fritters, there is no way you could go wrong. I have never in my life had a glazed donut as good as the one that was warm and covered in quite possibly the most delicious glaze I have ever tasted. And if the high quality donuts, that you can never have just one of, is not enough their customer service is number one. I can not begin to compliment them enough on the incredible taste of items that they offer and the excellent customer service. We will definitely return and I can say without a doubt that we found our new favorite donut shop. You can not get better than this place. If I could give more than 5 stars I most certainly would!

Amazing donuts! The blueberry cake donut is my favorite and by far the best cake donut Ive ever had! The owners and staff are very friendly and they even give away fresh FREE donuts to everyone who walks in the door!Highly recommend this donut shop to everyone! My only advice is to get there early or call to reserve the kind of donuts you want because they sell out of donuts long before they close each day because theyre so darn good!!

We are from Savannah Missouri and we were visiting Oklahoma City for the weekend. On our way home we passed by several people standing along the street with signs that said “hot donuts.” Who can pass up fresh hot donuts? We had to stop and get some for our trip home. We were offered a free donut when we came in the door and ended up buying a dozen more. These are some of the best donuts I’ve ever tasted! The owner was super kind and friendly! The staff was also friendly. I would highly recommend stopping at this donut shop if you are visiting or living in the city.

I stopped in this morning to grab a dozen donuts to bring to work. Got handed a fresh glazed donut when I walked in the door! Great customer service, and got me in and out of the door fast!

I pass this donut shop every day on my way to work and always meant to stop in. Well today I finally did! I ordered two apple fritters and after taking just my first bite I decided that it was the best apple fritter that I have ever had! It was so soft and fluffy on the inside but nice and crisp on the outside. I will be telling all my friends that if they want donuts that this is the place to go!

They dont have a drive thru, but I called when I arrived and they came out to my vehicle and took my order. The cashier was very patient and helpful. My kids LOVED all the different donuts. They were all delicious! We will be back!

I’m from Kansas City, stayed overnight. I love getting donuts from mom and pop shops when I stay out of town. I was not disappointed with polar! Light, fluffy donuts that tasted great, and I got a free donut soon as I walked in. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I only got one donut, I’m regretting I didn’t buy more, and my lap is covered in flakey glaze. Of course I picked them and ate them

Ive been coming to Polar for 7 years and every time each donut I try is delicious and wonderful, friendly customer service. Theyve many kinds, but my favorite is the apple fritter and donut holes which are perfect with their coffee. I purchased way more donuts than 2 people should reasonably eat in a day, so we had leftovers and these leftover donuts were delicious all through the weekend.

They earn their national ranking for one of the best Donuts in the United States. Our clients and employees love them. Be sure to go on a Friday or Saturday during the summer and ask for the special chocolate donut. It is a regular glazed donut that tastes like chocolate, but there is no chocolate icing to get messy from. It looks like a regular glazed donut but it is not.

Wasnt much left when I got there (about 4 options), which only means their donuts are delicious. I got there about 12:30 pm. Customer Service a A+. The large honey bun was good. Went back today lots to choose from. I got some twist and cake donuts they were very greasy.

We literally just walked out of the building 5 minutes ago . When we walked up, someone was already at the door to hold it open for us, they made sure we had a free glazed donut and everyone was so unbelievably nice and upbeat. Downright impossible not to smile at least 90% of the time you spend in there on your visit. Would come back every single day if it wasn’t for the fact that I live in Colorado ♥️

Im in town on business and stopped by this place thinking it was just another donut shop. I was TOTALLY WRONG!!! They greeted me as if I was the only customer, gave a sample donut (delicious), and offered their suggested pastries to try. Then they threw in a few more donuts on top of my order, yes thats right they gave me more donuts, not donut holes. The prices were very reasonable, but their hospitality is above and beyond. If Im ever back in OKC, Ill definitely be visiting this place again.
