I was not going to write this but this happened last year. I did my eye exam and bought glasses at this location. I came back because I could not see from far away. I was happy because they were willing to fix this issue after it was past their time frame. The issue was really not with the Doctor but with the receptionist. I was trying to explain what I was experiencing and I saw her get upset and she went for the doctor and told the doctor I was being a b***! Keep in mind she left the door open so I could hear everything and i told the doctor i was not rude at all and his excuse was that she was not feeling well and that was why she was acting like that. I left fast because I was uncomfortable and very upset at the doctor at this point because it was unprofessional out of his part to excuse her behavior. I feel if someone is sick and she’s not “herself” I think as her boss send her home! Or at least have her go in to apologize, sure to say I will never go back again.

Nicholas was a great help with choosing a pair of glasses that looked nice on me and making sure they fit well when I picked them up!! I highly recommend this store!!

Went here the year before and wasnt too impressed. Decided to give them another chance. Saw 2 Drs multiple times because my eyes would not stop watering and the corners of my eyes were raw. Every single time it was dismissed, its just allergies.No. It wasnt. I decided to get (technically) a third opinion. Severe chronic dry eyes along with band keratopathy. And they missed it. MULTIPLE TIMES.If you have any issues or concerns for your eye health, dont go here. Youre just another number.

Staff there are laid back and friendly. Even if you try on all of the glasses in the store multiple times each and cant decide for a couple of hours. 5 stars for patience

Originally purchased my glasses from here about 6 months ago and everyone was great! Stopped in today to get my lens put back in after my son knock my glasses onto the garage floor. Bree and Amy helped out and they were awesome! Fixed my glasses in minutes and even tightened everything back up. My glasses are better than they were before the lens issue. Excellent and friendly service.

Loved everything about my appointment. The ladies in the front were so helpful when it came to picking me out new glasses and new prescription sunglasses. I am practically blind without my glasses and they were honest with what looked good (and in style) and help me find some very cute new spectacles. My husband loved their picks for me too! :-)

06/02/2021 10:30am. I am a soldier who went through some tough training and passed any and all tests first try. But the moment I had to learn how to put in/take out a contact, my brain turned to jello. But luckily I had Mahisha there to teach even me how to.

Bree went above and beyond to make sure I got the exact pair of glasses I not only needed but wanted. Easy to chat with, professional with personality and isn’t afraid to answer the hard questions.

The staff is pleasant and knowledgeable. I bought 2 pairs of glasses for me and my wife also bought a pair of Prada glasses. It took a short amount of time to get the glasses and we like the glasses alot. Great vision center.

I left my previous eye care facility because I didnt feel listened to. My concerns were dismissed and it always felt like they were more interested in SELLING their in-store products or upcharging for services than making sure I was satisfied. Not so with this Pearle Vision location. Everyone was patient and answered all of my questions. My eye exam and health were fully explained and ALL purchasing options were given (not just the expensive ones). I would recommend this facility.

Service was fantastic! I will be back to this location and sending friends.Very Helpful, as well as accommodating. I got my glasses 4 months ago, and while i declined the lens replacement coverage, I had damaged them. Since they needed repairing, I took them back to Pearle Vision - Rockewell, and they replaced my lenses at NO Charge, as a courtesy. Dont go anywhere else!

Terrible experience and customer service! The exam was fine but Not a single person, 5 sitting around talking, offered any assistance with finding a frame for myself or my adult son. The manager acted offended when I asked why they weren’t helping. Brie gave me the cost for glasses with 2 options based on the lenses. She couldn’t explain the difference in the lenses, calculated the price wrong as she didn’t add an insurance discount, then acted irritated when I asked questions about the charges. I really miss the private practice I used to go to but our insurance changed. I definitely would not recommend this place! Update: when I returned to get my glasses the girl was unable to adjust them after 3 times so they weren’t crooked on my face. I finally left!

In light of the recent post I thought I would share I found the place clean and professional. Everyone wore masks and they wiped down equipment before each use. My only issue is their appointment confirmation system. I booked an appointment and thought an email that was sent to me was a reminder of the appointment. I tried to show up to my eye exam the day of and was turned away because the email was an email requesting I confirm the appointment. This happened last year, they were able to reschedule the appointment. Because of that sour experience I remembered this year when I saw that email I had to confirm the appointment. Which I did but I was disappointed when about a week later I get another email again asking me to confirm the appointment. It really makes me upset and think if they have people who don’t show up for appointments they need to charge people for not showing up. It is very offensive to me to have to confirm an appointment I scheduled not once but twice and worse having to confirm over email. I would rather just confirm via text. I understand this is really the fault of the software the company is using but thought I would still make my offense known since this time I almost had the appointment canceled on me because it prompted me to confirm a second time.

The women and men here are gods among mortals! To name a few ( Carly, Bree, Amy, Madison, Michael, Mahisha, Dr. Claborn and Jamie) are amazing!!!! I’ve never needed glasses before but they took the time to get me set up and see clearly. I’ve never had any experience like this. They treated me like family even to the point that I questioned if they we family.... Love the lady’s here even follow up visits to get my sunglasses was an awesome experience. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. They make my heart happy that there are still people that have that love for the job but mostly the love for the customer. I can’t thank them enough!Matt C.

I stopped by this Pearle Vision store because it is close to my house to get some glasses adjusted that were my grandmas from around 1950s. They were upfront and told me they could break when they adjusted them. I went there a second time and they adjusted them again. They gave me cleaning spray and a cloth at no charge. Everyone there was super cordial and helpful. Highly recommend the ladies at this Pearle Vision.

I love pearls vision! And the people there are really nice! I think Amy should be maneger ! She is really nice and polite she has long brown hair with glasses.

The doctors and staff are awesome at this location! I have been to other Pearle locations and just dreaded going. But this location changed my mind about visits. They are good listeners, they take time with you, and they are all funny as well. Just loved my experience! And Dr. Claborn! LOVED him!

I lost one of my contacts during work and my eye doctor is closed on Saturdays so I called the awesome Pearle Vision on Rockwell and they found me a contact!!!! Im not even a customer! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this location! They are WONDERFUL!!!!

Major issue with my lenses that wasn’t resolved when initially addressed months ago and when calling for replacement price the store manager was very professional and went above and beyond to get my issue resolved! My lenses have been re-ordered and I couldn’t be more thankful! Great customer service!

This place will nickel & dime you to death! They will mess up your order, then charge you more for THEIR mistake! And their customer service is awful. They don’t follow through with anything they say they will do. I will NEVER spend another dime in this establishment!

Unfortunately while on the phone with girl at receptionist desk I listened to her constant sniffling and was just wondering what kinda care they offer. There is an epidemic going around called The Coronavirus and a sniffling snotter on the phone is not the way to draw in customers.No thank you.

She helped me select the best frames for what I needed in regards to the most optimal eye care. I had an appointment this morning and it was a bit upsetting. Yesterday when they called to verify insurance information I felt as if they were a little short about the information they needed. I looked passed that and said well maybe the person was just having a bad day. However when I came in for my appointment this morning the young lady at the front desk seemed to be busy on her cell phone and talking to another employee when I came in, she had terrible body language and attitude when asking me to sign forms, as if I was bothering her. She then said that my co-pay was more than I expected it to be. I called my insurance prior to the visit and they said my co-pay was $10. Young lady explained that my co-pay was $40. I explained that I didn’t bring that much money with me and then she said that there was $30 for imaging and dilation. I told her that I didnt have extra money for imaging. I understood that I would need to sign a form stating that I decline the imaging. However the way she instructed me to do so made me feel so uncomfortable. I feel like her body language just was unacceptable and I felt disrespected, so I decided to cancel my appointment and leave. Nothing about this appointment was inviting from the phone call to verify the information to the appointment itself. I was actually looking forward to meeting Dr. Nguyen, but unfortunately I did not get that far. I definitely do not recommend this pearl vision. I do think that there needs to be some extra training in customer service at this location.

I’ve gone to Pearle Vision for years but this location I started going to has gone completely down hill when it comes to customer service. Scheduled an appointment and the lady calls me and tell me I need to reschedule with no explanation of why and didn’t have a care in the world that I wasn’t happy about it. Have also treated my wife disrespectfully multiple times. Again it’s the location off of rockwell that needs some training.

This was a very easy Process. I brought in my prescription from my eye dr, and the gang at Pearle Vision were able to get me setup with a pair of new glasses. They were great about telling me how much my insurance would pay as well as my out of pocket. Glasses arrived in less than a week!

The staff is awesome but super disappointed that we had to wait literally an entire month to receive my son’s glasses. For this very reason we most likely will go elsewhere next time around.

I was able to get a Saturday appointment to see the Dr for the exam and it was a quick painless process to pick out new frames from a fairly large inventory. The people are friendly. Couldnt have been much better.

Both Dr and staff were very nice and knowledgeable. They made be feel very welcome and took all the time to answer any questions I had even with a store full of people. Tyler I think his name was helped me pick out my glasses and did a excellent job being patient with me as I tried on many pairs. Ended up going with a pair he picked out for me. Ive always been very happy with the glasses I get at Pearle, and this location is my favorite. Always friendly, always helpful. Theyve fixed my glasses after various mishaps multiple times.

I am a truck driver who travels coast to coast. I set up an appointment here for an exam, new contacts, and new glasses. They were super professional and friendly. I was pleased with the knowledge of the doctor and the staff (especially Brian) went above and beyond to help me pick up my glasses when they were ready. I received my contacts within 1 day of the exam. I am extremely impressed and pleased with this location. I will make an effort in my travels to return here.

I went out of my way to go to this location because the reviews were better... and I’m SO glad I did! Everyone was so nice and helpful. If you are ever intimidated by these types of things I think you would feel really comfortable and looked after here.

I was hesitant to come here because last year I was not pleased at all. But they are under New Management!! 😁I was more than pleased Dr Lee is awesome! !She made sure I got what I needed ! Then Ashley helped me pick out the perfect glasses and lenses.So very pleased! !

What a wonderful place with wonderful people working!!! I put off getting the nose pads replaced on my glasses expecting it to be expensive. I walked into this location and was first, greeted very kindly. Next, one of the young ladies took my glasses, replaced the nose pads with a higher quality version than what I previously had, that minute, and to beat it all, it was no charge. All of the employees seemed to enjoy their jobs and were very pleasant. Sad to say, the service I received at this location is a rare sight these days. I will not spend another dime at another eye glass so long as Im in OKC!!! Thank you!!!

Customer service needs to be addressed at this office, I walked in un-greeted, I was 10 minutes late which is totally my fault, I get that, daisha stated I need to reschedule, but so rudely, she need to have a better attitude, no need to be nasty, just state I’m sorry ma’am but you do need to reschedule, ridiculous, I work for a doctors office is customer service is a must.

They were very prompt at getting me a same-day appointment. The staff was very helpful and very polite and very nice. The reason for my 1-star rating is that I was informed that even though I do not want or need new glasses I would have to get the exam for the glasses in addition to getting the exam from my contacts. Not only that but the regular exam is $39 and the contact exam is $60. I am willing to pay for one exam, the exam that I want. Their reasoning is that they have to have both to give you the contact exam. This is false, I have gone to different places for the last 30 years. And since I have been getting contacts if I only want my contact prescription that is all the exam they give me. I will not ever go to Pearle Vision again.

Everything was fine, except it took about three weeks to get my glasses because they apparently don’t have their own lab.

I enjoyed going to this location for my yearly eye exam. They had a variety of options for different frames. Very professional, the employees were all wonderful as well. Definitely recommend this location.

Receptionist could not find my insurance information, and told me I had to sit there and call the insurance company myself before shed do anything else. I politely asked her to if she could call in, and she refused. Even the employee helping a customer fit glasses mentioned to her it is in the job title to help with insurance. Her response im not normal receptionist so.. How embarrassing to explain to my insurance that staff at a facility doesnt believe I have insurance and forcing me to do the work. I knew I wasnt coming back after that.I went in simply to get more contacts, I moved towns. I had my old prescription forwarded here (I had to call and request it twice, the first time they said they never got it.) Ended up with different brand, without being told why. Im hoping because they didnt explain the switch, that is also why the pricing was higher than ever before. So now I have to finish a few months of contacts that just dont do it, after wasting my fake insurance on Pearle Vision.I chose this location because they are open longer hours than others in the area. This isnt a good sign apparently. The doctor personally was very polite- I will give him credit! If he was somewhere else Id come back.

Professionalism at its finest! Yes that’s 1 star! Beware of their lack of ability to resolve issues. They didn’t properly communicate with the Memorial location when we moved our business to their location. Our orders have been incorrect since we started using this location. This last time not only took nearly 1 month to pick up in store, but it was also an incorrect order. We were told they couldn’t accept a return or approve an exchange since my wife already used a couple of them; not realizing they were not correct. Good luck!

Very disappointed in this location. ALL new staff and NOT in a good way. New management and the lovely ladies that I talked to before were no longer there. Wasnt even talked to when I walked in to look at glasses. Will not return and after reading other reviews I know it wasnt just me.

Wide variety slash selection of eyewear all designer brands really classy there were so many its hard to choose from I got daily contacts to the staff was very patient and helpful they help me get my rebate back from my contacts Ill continue to go back. There prices are good and their products are great!

This was literally my best experience with purchasing glasses. Ashley was the associate that helped me out and she was amazing!!! She sat with me and went over the cost breakdown of all 4 lens types for 2 different pairs of glasses. Not once did I feel rushed or that she didnt want to answer my questions. Not only did Ashley do that, one of the pair I wanted were not in the store so she called the supplier and 2 other stores to find the frame for me. I could not be happier with my Pearle Vision experience!!

The optometrist was awesome, he even found out I had a problem with one of my eyes, but the staff is absolutely awful. Took nearly an hour to get my information entered, then when I go to pick up my glasses, I find out they never received a special coating so they would have to ship them off to receive said coating. I call back the day they were supposed to be there and they were never sent off, so I have to wait another week. Again, the optometrist is awesome, but he really needs to hire a decent staff. There is one staff member that knows what he is doing, but the rest are absolutely clueless.

Fantastic service.I came in having trouble with my contact lenses, which I just started wearing only a month ago, and the woman who helped me, Alicia Luna I think, was incredible.She was intelligent, very kind, and made the entire visit worh it. As someone who has had to try many different eye care specialist services, I can say that Ms. Luna made me feel more than confident in deciding to keep returning to Pearle Vision.

Does not support the military, will not accept any military active duty or retired insurance. It is easy for doctors to take the free exams offered by military insurance, for some reason this optometrist office does not want the business. I would keep looking for a place that does take it if you want to support the troops.

This is now my go to place for eye exams. The staff was friendly and the optometrist was very knowledgeable. The pre-screen tech was also very knowledgeable. Her name was Alicia and I was nervous about the machines and getting measurements of my eyes but she was super nice and informative. She even helped me with inserting my contacts and was very patient with me!
