If this is the path Oklahoma is going with food, I LOVE IT! The aesthetics of the place is beautiful! The food, top notch! The service, incredible and the area, progressive! My food was made perfect (steak and eggs with sauteed peppers) and my friends dish was amazing as well (coyote omelet). Oh their drinks? Amazing too! Highly recommend you try this beautiful place!
This place is work the wait! We visited from Kansas and made the drive in. My friend and I were able to join the Yelp wait list when we were 40 miles away. It helped cut down on the wait time significantly, although we did still wait a decent amount of time upon arrive. This place is just that great and that busy! Join the Yelp list ASAP.The staff was really friendly and offered suggestions. It’s got a fun vibe to it and is a great place to enjoy brunch with friends and maybe snap a few photos for Instagram ;)My friend and I stuck with the classics, Biscuits and Gravy and Eggs Benedict. Even though we waited a long time, the food came out very quickly!I was also impressed by the full service coffee bar and coffee cocktail menu.Definitely worth the wait. There are a few community tables that are first come, first serve. Same with their window, Bar top seating.
Lovely little breakfast place that came highly recommended by some locals. We impulsively got the beignets, and those were the real winner of breakfast! Perfectly fluffy and crispy with some tasty dipping sauces, absolutely smothered in powered and cinnamon sugar. The biscuits and gravy were very good. Biscuits were fluffy and tender, and the gravy was very well done (not overly salted as is common). Could have used a bit more gravy, but was not dry by any means. The coffee is good and plentiful our lovely server Ashley made sure there was always fresh hot coffee in the mugs
This is my favorite restaurant. They are very mindful about food allergies and dietary restrictions. Their gluten free pancakes are absolutely phenomenal, I always get them when I go.The staff recognizes me and they are very personable compassionate people.I’d recommend sitting in Ashley’s section if she’s there. You should familiarize yourself with the Yelp app to put yourself in line so you don’t have to wait 2 hours to be seated if you’re going at a peak time.
Oh wow what a wonderful breakfast! Our server Ashley was attentive and caring from the minute we sat down. She suggested the beignets to start and so happy she did, They come with 3 great dipping sauces. (The peanut butter bacon was our favorite) my husband had the famous pancake pictured. And I had biscuits and gravy with fresh fruit pictured. All so good. Ashley topped off our breakfast with a coffee to go. This modern somewhat eclectic decor restaurant is a for sure stop when In the area!
This place was so amazingly delicious! The best breakfast Ive had in the area. Had the very veggie omelet, smoked salmon Benedict and a kids grilled cheese. It was ALL delicious. I really like the hashbrown tumblers! The veggies and everything taste so fresh. We also got one pancake just to try it and it was really good! 5stars for sure.
Ok we did a quick and last minute road trip to OKC on Labor Day weekend! And I must say this is one of my favorite breakfast/brunch places. Friendly staff. Patio is dog friendly and we traveled with our pooch for the first time. They offered him water and talked so warmly to him. Food was awesome, i had egg Benedicts both the days, salmon egg benny is my favorite. Hubby had Migas and pancakes. Both were outstanding. Now i want to highlight something, their coffee was THE BEST, ask me why? As it was HOT. Generally when we get coffee in those big coffee mugs, by the time it arrives at the table it is warm, though this one stayed hot for a long long time.. hash brown tumblers are great, something different and unique and ambience is nice… pls come to Fort Worth too! A must go in OKC! Parking is on the side of restaurant and behind the restaurant is a big parking garage….
Hands down one of my favorite breakfast locations!! The interior is very vibrant and spacious. There is a small outdoor seating section. The wait staff is very friendly and happy to answer any questions. Great menu options including a good amount of alcoholic drinks perfect to accommodate breakfast. Im excited to come back and eat my way through the menu.
Got the kitchen sink with a side of biscuits and gravy and it was all good. The kitchen sink is almost like a skillet but topped on top of each other finished with an egg. They all blend perfectly tho 👌. And for the biscuits and gravy biscuits were light and gravy was rich flavors I got just amazing.
The beignets were phenomenal, and the chocolate dipping sauce was sweet, creamy, and perfect. Ashley was an excellent and attentive server. She kept the coffee flowing. The southwest royale benedict had excellent flavor, but the poached eggs weren’t runny and it could’ve used more hollandaise. Overall, great vibes at this spot!
Often these types of restaurants have a higher price point simply due to the ambiance, but I can justify splurging here. Great service, big portions, and delicious food. I’ve had to stop here the last 3 times I’ve visited OKC. Every time I’ve ordered something different and had a great meal. Blueberry strudel pancakes were arguably life changing. VERY excited for them to come to Tulsa
Honestly a great place to eat at. Staff were super helpful especially during this trying time. We were seated within 10 minutes of arriving. Really friendly waitress that took our orders instantly and we got our food within 10 minutes. Wide variety of food choices but didnt particularly fancy the Chicken Fried Steak. You definitely have to try the Chicken Fried Eggs, super different but an acquired taste. Overall a great experience! Highly recommended!
Excellent brunch spot! I got a great omelet, my husband had the Benedict flight, perfection all around! Good job, Hatch!
Normally we enjoy Hatch, but our experiences over the last two orders has been really lackluster.Today we ordered delivery. We ordered the Sausage Biscuit, which is supposed to come with cheddar and pepper jelly, neither of which were present. Instead it came with guacamole which was a little confusing. I ordered the Nova and Lox, which is $14 (reasonable). However, as you can see in the photo, it was unreasonable. It came with two little slices of salmon, a sliced egg, a handful of greens, and FOUR little capers. The bagel was also not toasted lol.In short, I wouldn’t recommend ordering from here. Maybe eating in person would offer a better portion and keep accurate dishes, but our last toe orders have been incorrect and very minimal. Hope this helps you make your own orders!
Amazing place to enjoy a great breakfast, get the pancakes! And the staff makes it worth the trip (Kendra and Emalee).
** Update Below ** Pretty disappointed with how our first visit here went. The food was good. But the service we received was not. Also when we left we realized we forgot my sons sippy cup. We turned right back around and couldnt find it, we asked our waitress but she said she didnt know, then she said to ask the bus boy or the manager (who wasnt there apparently). So I guess they just threw it in the trash. We wont be returning.UPDATEEditing my review for fair representation of this business. The manager got it contact with me very quickly about how our first experience here went. They were exceptionally considerate and we are hoping to return soon.
Ive never tried a food I didnt like...amazing place with a good ambiance, great mimosas, pricy but totally worth it
We came here for brunch on a Saturday and it was definitely busy! Everybody in our party of 7 really enjoyed the food. I had the breakfast Cuban and it was absolutely delicious. The service was fairly slow because of how busy it was, but our waitress was nice and checked up on us often. It took probably 15 min for our drinks (mimosas) after we ordered them. Id recommend Hatch for sure, but be ready to wait a while if youre going at the height of brunch.
Oh my god DELICIOUS!! This now a place we will be coming back to often. Such great breakfast, the service was great, although we did go on a Wednesday which wasn’t too busy. Our waiter gave us great recommendations. Their hash browns are balls and they are sooooo good!! Such a fun place!! So recommend!
The food here was so amazing that we went twice while we were in town. The Monte Cristo was 2nd to none, the hashbrown tumblers was such a neat concept and again excellent. I highly recommend this breakfast spot!
If you are looking for a great place to eat and AMAZING SERVICE come here! Paul Anthony was absolutely fantastic go ask for him he will make sure everything is to Exactly how you want it. GREAT attitude and spirit definitely will be back!!!
Cool breakfast place, had fun trying the biscuits and gravy (very good) and the Oklahoma pancake. Biggest complaint is that it was incredibly crowded, very loud inside but outside was a bit better. I felt bad for our server, she did a good job but was having a hard time keeping up. I think this would be somewhere to try again when its not so busy, just be prepared to spend more than you would other places in OKC area.
We visited in August, during Covid. Limited indoor seating and a nice patio. The place was packed and there is a good reason, the food is amazing. Modern take on some classics, done right. The pancakes were perfect with real maple syrup. The Hollandaise sauce was light with a nice hint of lemon. The fried boiled egg was so delicious, our first time having it.We ordered way to much food but took the left overs and they were just as yummy later.Highly recommend trying this place. Get there early so there is no wait.
Omg this place was amazing! We had our pregnant dog with us she close to due date so we dont like to leave her alone and they let us sit on the patio with her once we asked to sit out there so we could keep an eye on the running car. The food was amazing the service amazing and I cannot wait to be able to get back! 100 out of 10 this place is my new fave
Wow, what an experience. Our server Ryan was absolutely outstanding, he provided excellent advise and info about the dishes, the restaurant, just about anything we asked. The three dishes were different and all delicious. Biscuits and gravy, Chieftains revenge, Mission Street Tacos!!!!! Can’t miss! Thank for the service Ryan!
We enjoyed a half order of french toast, the chicken fried steak with eggs over medium, mission tacos, and a side of biscuit and gravy. It was truly amazing and we nearly finished it all off. I recommend going on a weekday to avoid the long wait and crowd. We highly recommend Hatch, its our new favorite place for breakfast and lunch.
Went there for my wifes birthday. Right off it was a bad experience because our glasses of water had chunks of food floating in them when we received them. Our waiter just got us new water but in the same glasses. The food was ok, but extremely overpriced for what you get. Wife wanted to give them another try so we ordered through Door dash. I didnt get the fries that were supposed to come with my burger, and it was well done instead of medium. My wife ordered the smoked salmon bagel and instead received an egg on a biscuit. Not even close. This place gets too much hype for the substandard performance on all fronts.
Man I absolutely love this place. Im not home much because I travel a lot for work, but make it a point to go to Hatch when I am home. As small a thing as it seems, but their coffee is really good. And dont even get me started on those hashbrown tumblers! They always have great vibes and amazing food. What else you you ask for?
As a HUGE breakfast foodie, Hatch exceeded all of my expectations for a breakfast food restaurant. The Strawberry Compote Pancakes were amazing. Enormous pancakes, fresh from the gridle, covered with just the right amount of sweet and tart Strawberries, cooked to perfection. They are topped with crunchy, sugared pecans. Side of bacon was cooked perfectly. Husband had a biscuits with skillet gravy. The gravy was clearly pan-made, with savory bits of sausage throughout. He also had a side of Chicken Fried Eggs- a delectable, battered boiled egg, flash fried until golden, served with 2 dipping sauce. Hungry yet?
Quite the breakfast experience. Great menu and excellent wait staff. I had the French Toast with a side of biscuits and gravy. Both were made to perfection. I also ordered a lunch sandwich to-go. The Q was beer braised pork on a pretzel bun with sautéed peppers and onions and BBQ sauce. Make sure your there early, because by 9am there is a line and a wait for a table. The decor is modern and fun.
-1 star for the incredibly long wait to get a 3 top. (Almost 2 hours) But had the steak and eggs and I couldnt believe how delicious the steak was and how tender it was. I would definitely go again if I have alot of time to spend.
Worst breakfast place I’ve been to. Salmon was 100% raw, steak was overdone, staff was rude, expensive, and portion sizes are puny. I feel sick after eating. I’ve been to hatch 3 times giving it more chances and each time unsatisfied. As a business owner, I’m convinced that people mostly base their review off of aesthetic of restaurant, not actual quality of food. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice and the eggs and pancakes are good, but that’s the only thing worth purchasing IN MY EXPERIENCE.
It is worth the wait if you happen upon Hatch during a busy time! FYI there is a neat lobby area in the back with a restored Buick while you wait. As the front can be packed. All the staff were amazing and the chefs are talented. All of the food was amazing! Atmosphere is great as well. I tried a mimosa with Malibu Rum and it was great! Highly recommend anything in there menu. I was in town for business when I googled and found this place. I will definitely revisit when I am back.
Good food, just wasnt impressed with the service. When I gave them my card for payment, it took 20 minutes to finally get my receipt to sign. The waitress passed us by at least 5 times. It was busy, and I typically give a pass because of that, but really, 5 missed opportunities to complete the transaction and get paid?
This is hands down the best spot for breakfast, brunch, and lunch in okc. You have no idea how grateful I am that you guys offer gluten free options. Im so used to being treated with disdain when asking about gluten free options anywhere else, and most places dont offer them because they just dont care. Hatched goes above and beyond with your concious menu, and everything is absolutely delicious, from the gluten free pancakes to the lattes. My boyfriend loved The Tropics drink that he got, and I was head over heels for my blueberry struesel pancakes. This is gonna be our special place to treat ourselves from here on out.
Great food and prompt service. I tried the biscuits and gravy with a fried egg and side of avocado, and a mimosa. Everything was super fresh and tasted really good. I cant wait until Hatch opens up in Tulsa!
Same Ingredients, Different ResultsWow!! Hatch is of the charts good. The wait was no problem since we popped up to the bar seating facing the window. What a lively atmosphere inside. there is tons to look at in decor and if youre outgoing what a chance to meet new friends or neighbors. The price was good for the amount of food and flavor. Ive already recommended this place to family in Okc as well as friends traveling there or through.
Outstanding food. The avocado toast and chicken enchilada soup were out of this world. Highly recommend.
Arriving the wait was a little over 30 minutes, fortunately, there was a couple leaving the bar and we were able to sit there. The service was great! Everyone was very friendly & the food was very good as well. Everything came out in a timely manner and cooked very well. My only complaint would be the pricing, we split a check of $70 for 2 people for simple brunch plates & 2 drinks. I dont feel the food was that extraordinary for the prices.
I’ve only ever heard great things about hatch. I decided to order delivery this morning knowing it would be my new favorite place. I ordered “the flight” all the pancakes were bland. The bananas were brown and looked as if they had been left out overnight. I’ve had better from a box. I’m really disappointed. I’m not sure if this place is overhyped or they just had an off day. I may go back but not anytime soon.
I went with a group during lunch time. Hatch is always really busy so I recommend using the Yelp app to put yourself in line ahead of time so you wait less. It is a wait, but it is so worth it. The inside is beautiful and the staff are really friendly and attentive. There are so many good options on the menu it is hard to choose. All of the food looks, smells, and tastes delicious. I will definitely be going back.Went again today! Food is still awesome and our waitress was so sweet.
Great food, great service. First time eating here today, we are in OKC visiting my son. Tessa went out of her way to make sure we were well taken care of and everything was great. Will definitely be back! Thanks Tessa for being so great to Noah!
Some of the best food Ive ever had. The staff is very knowledgeable and professional. I now know why this place is always Chic Fil a busy!
We joined the Yelp waitlist and were seated almost immediately at our waitlist time.Portions:HUGE. Enough to feed at least 2 peopleFlavor:I had the eggs Benedict flight with hash brown tumblers and she had the chicken and waffles.Eggs Benedict: classic, steak, and salmon. All delicious, and all a bit rich. Definitely recommend sharing. The steak is served with goat cheese, which is good if you like goat cheese. I don’t, but ordered it as it came. I would request swapping the goat for cotija if I ordered again. The salmon was good and the slice of salmon was very generous.Chicken and waffles: chicken is breaded and fried fresh upon order, never frozen. It seems to be battered in pancake or waffle batter.Environment:Very busy and a little noisy, but we did not feel overcrowded.Employees:All helpful, courteous, and professional. Ryan, our waiter, was just the right combination of helpful and attentive without visiting us too many times. We’ll go back!
Went there with my boyfriend for the first staff and it was absolutely worth it. The staff was friendly and the food was wonderful. We ordered the classic plate and biscuits and gravy and I can say without a doubt that it’s some of the best food I’ve had. The specialty pancake was absolutely delicious. hatch is definitely a place worth making a trip for
Great breakfast. The tumblers are so good. Ryan was an excellent server.
Fantastic breakfast! I loved the monkey bread. My family enjoyed their food too. So many things on the menu we had a hard time choosing.
Oh my gosh! Let’s just start with that the food is amazing and they have their own parking. Things here move quick so get ready! Here is the breakfast Cubano sandwich and Strawberry pancakes!Teesa, the manager is so sweet and came by to make sure my table was very well cared for with while my busy waitress Trish was hard at work on the big top behind us.It’s a little pricey but the plates are huge! You will not be dissapointed !!
Sunday Brunch was delicious. Waitstaff was friendly. Hostess/manager was super helpful. Overall great experience!
Dont come here if youre on a diet cause you wont leave thin but youll surely leave happy. From traditional breakfast to artistic spins on the classics Hatch delivers - in volume. We arrived Sunday morning and though they was a wait for tables there is a large section in the front for walk ins, which meant no wait and instant service. Overall, fantastic food and efficient service makes this a must when on OKC.
Loved our servicer and food definitely. The kitchen sink is my fav with a pineapple mimosa!
Surprisingly underwhelmed. Usually the food is very good. But the French toast has so much cinnamon that was almost all you could taste. The fried chicken was very very salty. And when 2 more eggs were requested with no salt, they still tasted salty. Wondering if they are changing things or have a new cook? Hopefully next time will be better.
Some great creative menu options and nice staff. The only downside is the parking and crowd for the space. If you go on a weekday, your wait shouldn’t be bad at all. I tried their beignets with a peanut butter bacon dip—surprisingly good! All the menu items are fresh and they’ve customized when asked. Good drink selection.
The food was great and huge.... This was my first visit . but only down side is there is no parking... Haha good luck with that.
Incredible food and excellent wait staff. Very fun and hip place to go in Midtown.
Its busy but perfect. Great atmosphere. Fast and friendly service. Good coffee and delicious food.
Chill place. Good food. Do not be in a hurry. They get to you but it’s not quick. Hidden menu item. Chicken fried egg (scotch egg) on a bed of patty sausage with a side of bacon and a hollandaise drizzle and a sweet cream drizzle . Seriously good eats.
Great egg sandwich and the hashbrown tumblers were amazing
This place is simply great. Food and service is fantastic. You have to try those hash tumblers! Setting is very hip and modern. Parking is a bit of a hassle, but don’t let it keep you from coming here. Well worth it!
EXCELLENT food and atmosphere. WONDERFUL wait staff!!! Just loved it!
Staff was very nice, and the food was delicious!
They are always spot on from the great coffee to their red velvet pancakes and eggs Benedict. Service was exceptional as always!
Overrated. Mediocre at best. This was not worth the wait. The wait was around an hour, we put in early on Yelp before we left. We got there and there were still 11 ahead of us... so we ended up jumping to the bar since that was open seating. We ordered the beignets, but they were hard as a rock, the dipping choices werent great. One was already sitting in the orange hollandaise when it was brought out. The chicken fried steak was thin, not much meat... All the breading fell off the steak. The eggs smelled like dirty water, when I told the waitress they smelled funny all she said was thats fair and nothing else. Not worth the hype or the price. Not a good value for the money.
Woww.. Breakfast gets better here. They arent lying about Early Mood food. The atmosphere here is cool.. I felt like i was seriously about to hatch with the color scheme and the cracked effect lighting in the ceiling. Ashley D. Was amazing and brought me an oreo pancake and a hot cheeto bloody mary. Wow im fat. Hehehe.
Very fun environment with taisty food. For all those gamblers out there your in luck here, but if you try and use your players club reward card from a casino to cash in them players points they dont accept them. Only cash credit or debit here. But well worth the money!
The food was good. What I like is that everything was light but very filling at the same time. The only thing I didnt like was the bacon it was like they cooked out the flavor. I would definitely go back again
One of the only brunch places Ive been to where the warning that its a lot of food was actually true. Very fair prices. LONG (85 minute) wait on weekends. Check in online.
This is my favorite breakfast place in the world. The chieftain’s revenge is my favorite dish. It is an out of this world combination of flavors and textures. The flavors are fresh and exceptional. These folks get very busy so try to plan your visit. The staff is friendly and helpful in making your selection. If you haven’t tried the Hatch you need to treat yourself. I love their food.
My wife and I tried this for the first time yesterday. We loved it, food was fantastic and very reasonable for a scratch kitchen. Great environment and awesome staff. So for the cost of IHOP you can have a far superior meal and a great time.
Good food! Though not worth the long wait. Service was OK. Super loud inside and difficult to talk across the table at times. Again, the food was good, though would go somewhere else next time.
So delicious. Everything is fresh and flavorful. Service is terrific.
