Thanks to CarMax for taking care of my intention for sell the car, they give me the best appraisal for my car but in the final process when I decided to do it with this dealer, they doesnt care about the title says the lien released for the first bank is with the new bank, so that was tricky for me because later I just stop in a closer dealer and they accept to equal this offer and doesnt care about the lean releases for the first bank, they directly do it and I know almost fell happy with that. So either way, the experience with CarMax was good, and thats it.Thank you.

Checking the value of our 2018 RAV 4 on Edmonds generated an offer from CarMax to purchase the car. The offer was generous. So, I scheduled an appointment half expecting the run around, but within an hour I walked out with a bank draft for the full amount.

Fairly smooth process. Was met by a gentleman who directed me to a table where I met Mr. Jim Hall. He was a pleasure to work with and very personable.

I was given a check for $4K more than what I paid for the vehicle, so of course Im happy with them lol. They were very friendly and helpful from the moment I walked in until I left. And actually they were making sure I was good outside while waiting on my ride. Very happy with my experience.

I thought I had to take a real low ball deal but as it turned out they offered me just exactly what I had in mind and the whole deal was easy and done.

This was the easiest car purchase we’ve ever made. We’ll never buy another way again! I LIVE my Lexus. It’s beautiful and excellent quality despite being 7 years old. The staff kept me informed of the progress of the car I chose and were incredibly friendly and helpful during the sale of our old car and the purchase of the new one. Shopped your inventory online. Looks like your vehicles are priced higher than anyone other dealer in Oklahoma. I’m not sure how you even get vehicles sold. I predict you’ll end up with the same vehicles on the lot next year and possibly the year after with the prices shown.

Needed to get out of a car I really didn’t like, and the loan that came with it. Went to CarMax because I have had too many negative experiences at traditional dealerships. I had an appointment but arrived early, was greeted politely by an older gentleman, Jim. I looked over the car lot for a few minutes, and dealt with one sales person, Alex Otalora. There was no pressure or haggling over prices and interest rates or anything; we just talked about cars and what I did and didn’t like. I took a car for a 24 hour test drive. The sales process was so simple and straight forward. Alex explained everything along the way, and the financial part of it was transparent - he literally showed me his computer screen. There was also more than enough time to ask any questions. Even though I had just test driven it, Alex filled the tank and made sure the car was clean. There are also two tiny dents they decided to have fixed at no cost to me. So now I am in a car I love, with loan terms I can live with, and it didn’t take very long for the paperwork to process. I highly recommend Oklahoma City CarMax, and Mr. Alex Otalora in particular.

The online price quote was very easy to do and all I needed when I arrived at the CarMax was the code I received in the email with my quote. A quick inspection to make sure everything I reported was correct, paperwork to sign over the title and I left with a check in my hand.

Everyone was very courteous. We had made an appointment for this transfer vehicle. It had taken 3 weeks to get here from Illinois. We arrived a bit early. The title was still at the tag agency, so we had to wait for that. Other than that, everything went smoothly and we purchased this vehicle without a hitch very quickly once he got the title. There was no nonsense at signing, just very straight forward.

CarMax is top tier car buying, servicing and customer care from start to finish (if and when you get there!). I have gone twice. Once to test drive and buy my car. Once to service a bent key. I experienced the most compassionate, effective, efficient, nice, painless and short experiences Ive ever encountered at a car buying and servicing outlet. I highly recommend them. They truly care about your automotive needs. I love the fact I had some nice chat over the phone about cars with a rep while things were processing with my initial phone call to transfer the car. I loved that mesh of business and having a human to human moment of connection about upgrading cars from something broken and extremely old to something you really love, worked hard for and will cherish.

The whole car buying experience was good. This is my first car ive ever bought i am 18 years old. It would’ve been convenient if the sales person told me that there was a option to get my tag paid for and add it on to my monthly payment. I wasnt informed on this very valuable information and for that u get 1 star. I had to come out of pocket $900 dollars when there was a much more simpler way to do this. Very disappointed

Fastest in and out experience I have ever had at any carmax in Central US. Within 10 min all of my vehicles were lined up. They even asked which order I wanted em pulled which made loading a breeze!

Liked the level of background detail provided with each car. The fixed price was fair. The $’s to ship a car from another location was less expensive than flying to the location. CarMax provided good status on the movement of the car from CO to OK. The car we had shipped didn’t meet our needs. However, Joseph our sales contact worked with us to find something that did.

I always go to Carmax to sale or trade in my vehicles because they have consistently given me the highest appraisal each and every time. I have bought 3 vehicles through Carmax as well.

Worst service. Had problems with a salesman running my credit when I wasnt there. After I purchased the car it continued to shake when I took off frok stop signs and they said I was basically making it up. Now my car barely starts and when it does it shudders and turns off while driving. Booked put for 3 weeks and no rentals to give me for the POS car they sold me. Complete joke of a location.

We recently sold our vehicle to Carmax on Memorial and it would have definitely been an easy going ordeal as long as you don’t have to approach the business office while a woman named Deanna is working. Her demeanor was very unprofessional and rude. Instead attempting to be helpful with the process to retrieve a title from the tag agency she chose to be very argumentative. The entire situation was distasteful because she had such an “I’m always right” type of ego going on.She may need some more training on how not to be rude to a customer and how to have better communication skills because her clarification on what was needed from us was not up to par.Still I am grateful for the services of Ryan, he was pleasant and got a lot of the appraisal work done pretty fast. Also Daniel was very polite and fast at getting us through the signing process.

Sold a car here and was actually surprised with the offer I recieved. The process took about 2 hours on a Saturday. If you dont want the hassle of selling your car directly to someone this is a good option to have. I have found that a lot of the cars for sale here are priced higher than they should be and it doesnt seem like they spend enough time cleaning the cars to make them ready for sale. But again youre paying extra to not deal with the hassle of a normal dealership.

Our Sales Rep Tee was amazing from start to finish. I never felt pressured to buy anything, I didnt feel like he was trying to put us into anything out of our budget or that we just overall did not want. He was very patient, knowledgeable and professional about everything he assisted us with including getting our trade-in appraised. We were a little indecisive there for a while and he still rode that wave with us every step of the way. I have never been able to walk into a car dealership and walk out with what I wanted so flawlessly. Definitely how car buying should be. I have already referred multiple people to Tee.

My Carmax experience completely transformed the way I think of a used car dealership. I was not haggled or pressured once. I was allowed to peruse the lot without a obnoxious car dealer breathing down my neck. The prices on their cars was completely reasonable. I didn’t end up buying one if their cars, but I did sell my vehicle to them. It was incredibly easy and they gave me more than I would have asked for if I would have sold it to an individual. Everyone I interacted with a Carmax was courteous and professional. My whole experience with them was incredible, it didn’t feel like I was at a car lot. They’ve made me a customer for life.

My husband and I were looking to sell our suv and heard from other people on social media that they had a good experience with carmax. We decided to look into it and got a good offer online for our suv, then we made an appointment for next day. Once we got there customer service from front office to the business office was great, they were very busy but the whole process of selling our suv took 2 hrs. We were still making payment on our suv and carmax told us they take 15 days to pay the lien holder, we’re on day 3. I can update on when this finalizes.

I was able to test drive the model I was primarily interested in at the local store. And then have the perfect option shipped in from another location for my final purchase.

They seem to have a very dialed in process. Which is what you would expect from a nation wide chain. The ability to transfer vehicles between stores across the country really opens up options for the buyer. This is the second purchase I had shipped in out of state and it went really well. The reason for the 4 and not 5 stars is the same problem I find in most big box or national store chains which is the lack of customer service. Although the deal was quick it lacked individualism and the touch of real interest in the customer you find at traditional family owned dealerships. The salesman was nice but bland as well as the business manager. Once I was finished with my paperwork I had to hunt down the salesman for the keys to leave after I already explained i needed out as quick as I could. Anyway if you dont mind sacrificing some customer service for convenience its your place. If you like a little more personal touch but smaller selection mabe a hometown dealer is for you. Anyway good experience and I like the car even though it was advertised as a LTZ and it is a limited. Not a huge deal but some features that I expected are not present. Hope this helps

Both times Ive purchased a new vehicle Ive gone through car max with their guaranteed low price the experience feels alot less stressful and you dont have a bunch of car salesman swarming you to take all your money. They have appropriate safety measures in place for covid and they have a 24 hour test drive to help you decide if thats the right car for you. If I ever need another vehicle Ill probably go to car max again.

We have purchased 5 + vehicles from CarMax OKC. An absolute wonderful shopping experience - Ask for Steve Underwood! We shopped on line for our vehicle, had the choices narrowed down, test drove to confirm and drove off in our new vehicle. So easy!! The only downside is the admin piece with the business office. They seem to struggle with process and delayed the title and TTL piece. I would highly recommend CarMax for purchase/sale of a vehicle.

I tried to sell my VW Jetta and they wouldn’t accept it due to the fact that my surname (II) wasn’t on the registration, despite it being on my drivers license, lein, military ID card, and many other supporting documents.Massive waste of 6 hours of my time and the business department management is useless, fire them and hire new people who actually want to help their customers.I can’t believe you treat retired military with such disdain.

Okay first it’ll be all fine with car sales department and if required they will peer pressure you into paying for non refundable transfer fees. That’s the last the good customer experience ends. From then it’s a night mare. My car has arrived two weeks ago and still I can’t test drive because they didn’t get the correct title/ this location team is absolutely horrendous to work with and every time they say best used car dealerships in America, should definitely check upon themselves. If anyone wants a decent customer interaction and service definitely I recommend the local dealers in Oklahoma who respect their customers way more than absolutely this location from which you get way sub par experience. Absolutely the worst and worst of all. And last Debbie the lady from business office her always answer for any question will be she don’t know. Sweet!!! I know I should have reconsidered my opinion from the beginning.

I sold my 2015 Buick Encore to CarMax, went and got my offer a week prior to the sale, came in, they test drove it and we did the paper work. It took a solid two hours but it was smooth and easy. I had a sweet lady named Deborah I believe, she was on point and knew her stuff! I was happy to have gotten her because some of other folks didn’t seem as friendly. Overall car max does all that they advertise! I would recommend selling your car that if you are looking for a swift transaction!

I had a car that I wanted to trade in, so I went to the dealership where I originally purchased it. They had sent me an enticing letter that indicated they were willing to deal in order to get my Mazda 2 back onto their lot.Unfortunately, when I went in, after looking at their website, and picking out the car I wanted to test drive, when they quoted me an offer, they raised the price $3000 from what I had seen on the web. Even more unfortunately, they were not willing to negotiate. Not at all. They just said sorry, have a nice day.SO, I went to Carmax. The sales associate who I met with was friendly and extremely helpful. He was totally willing to work with me when my first choice vehicle was out of reach, and I went home with a great car that same day!The process was so easy, with no pressure, and no haggling. I loved it!

I had the most amazing experience at Carmax today. My salesman was Cade, and he was great! He couldnt have made this process any easier. I traded in 2 vehicles towards one of theirs. The offers I received overall were higher than Carvana, and I feel like the car I purchased was at an amazing price. I dont think Ill ever go to a traditional car lot again after dealing with Cade at Carmax! Such an honest and straightforward experience today!
