I love love love this place!!! This ladies and girls working here are so kind and thoughtful!! I waited until the last minute (or so I thought, they helped another girl find and alter hers in two weeks) to get my wedding dress. (About a month before the wedding) every other place I went to wanted me to schedule a far-out appointment and would only let me pick from a small selection. The ladies at Pomp talked to me over the phone about what I wanted, had dresses waiting for me, and helped me find the one, all on the same day I called them. They offered free alterations and were able to work around my work schedule, as I work in an office mon-fri 8-5. I just picked the dress up today and I am so excited!!! I couldnt be happier!! Dont let those stuffy bridal shops get you down!! These ladies are here to help!!! Oh and my dress came in a cute Pink bag. :)

I was stopping by to order a dress I tried on at another store. I immediately decided to keep trying on dresses. The staff and specifically my bridal consultant was extremely helpful and patient. She listen to my needs, concerns, and wishes. I ended up saying yes to a completely new dress and I can not wait until it comes in! Great experience and amazing customer service!

Really felt welcome and not rushed when helping my sister! They were polite and we thankfully had plenty of time, since we came in around 2. They did close at 6, but you never want to be the person that comes in 15min before they close.(LOL)

This is by far the BEST place to find a formal dress for Prom or any other occasion. We have been all over the city to every store you can think of and this is the one place we loved. Good place to shop for wedding dress. Staff there were nice and they did not rushed me. They tried their best to help me find the perfect dress. Prices are reasonable. Schedule an appointment to go try on dresses and check to see if they have any dresses are on sale. They DO NOT offer FREE alteration on sale dresses but they DO offer FREE alteration on regular price dresses. You can also make monthly payment and then make a lump sum payment on the rest when you ready to take the dress home. I recommended this store. I will definitely visit back if I have to in the future. FYI: I ended up purchasing my dress here.

Best place I have ever been to purchase a prom dress! The customer service was amazing! I feel badly the I cannot remember the young lady that helped us but she was working between my daughter and another girl who were both having a hard time deciding on a dress but she was a pro! Never flustered... never rushed us...went out of her way to make sure we got the dress we were looking for! All the other women were just as helpful and kind from the moment we entered the store to the moment we left it was an awesome experience! We cant wait until the final fitting!! Thank-you!

They have provided for my junior and senior prom. Beautiful dresses, kind and thoughtful staff that give input and understanding. The dresses are expensive, but in reality, that is the perfect price for that fabric, and brand.

Staff was absolutely amazing even though they were slammed with teenage girls. My daughter has Aspergers and does not handle busy crowded places and the staff was phenomenal with her! In 18 years I have never seen her feel at ease with someone else helping her. Truly grateful!

Want to not feel special? Well you picked the right place to buy a dress! The customer service was terrible. We did not feel welcomed. They did not listen to the brides wishes. They were literally cleaning around us when the bride was trying on dresses. The workers were not friendly or welcoming. I would not give them a penny of my money. I am giving 2 stars because one of the ladies offered a water...

I bought my dress in November. We bought it at their Black Friday sale so I purchased the dress for 50% off. When I was speaking with the owner I asked her about getting my dress altered. She told me that they typically do not do alterations on dresses that they sale 50% off but that if I came back closer to my wedding date to get alterations she would go ahead and do it (my dress was still almost $1,000 with 50% off its not like it was cheap!!!) I went to the store to get my dress altered a couple of weeks ago. I was charged for some of the alterations because I wanted some stuff cut off of my dress that pomp and pageantry does not cover and was also charged for cups to be added to my dress. That was fine. I went to go pick the dress up and was told it would cost me another additional $95 that I didnt not have. (This is after all of the alterations were finished) After explaining to some of the employees that I was told by the owner that she would still cover some of the alterations, that I already paid for the alterations when I brought the dress to be altered, and thats not what I expected to pay, one of the employees disappeared for awhile to go in the back to talk with the owner. She told me that the owner would not budge and that I needed to pay the additional $95 on top of what I had already paid when I dropped the dress off. The owner would not come speak with me about the matter. I had no choice but to pay since she would not come talk to me and I did not have my dress in hand. My mother who was with me at the time I purchased the dress that can bare witness to what the owner originally told me called up there. The poor employees felt so bad and felt like she should give me a refund. After my mother was on hold for ten minutes they came back and said she wouldnt budge. She again would not get on the phone. Besides the fact that she ORIGINALLY told me she would, If I had known up front how much it was going to cost I could have agreed to pay the amount for the alterations or have went somewhere else. The owner left me no choice to do so. SUCH BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE!! If you give a customer a price and they pay you stick to it and dont add on to the cost once the alterations are done! Its also not like the dress was cheap to begin with. I still paid over $1,000 for it!!!!! DO NOT GO HERE!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! I will be contacting the better business bureau about the matter. I feel I should receive a full refund since that was not what I was originally told I was going to have to pay. Its not my fault they did not tell me upfront and went ahead and did the alterations. IT IS THEIRS!!!!

I loved shopping at Pomp and Pageantry! The consultant was very helpful and was careful to only bring me dresses within my budget - she was happy to help me try on the dresses but didnt mind that my mom, maid of honor, and two bridesmaids were crowding the room with me and wanted to help. They had a very large selection, which was very helpful because I wasnt sure what I wanted! I found a beautiful, VERY reasonably priced dress, and they ordered it for me and it was in a month and a half before they said it would come in. Alterations are free, which is really great, I appreciate that a lot. Would definitely recommend this place to friends.

I was in love with my experience! Every second was one the best moments of my life, more than the birth of my first child ( i do like my second tho) Continuing on THE DRESS was sent from the Lord above SPECIFICALLY for my daughter. The staff from Pomp and Pageantry are His angels! They were lovely, and sooo kind to us. I swear they had WINGS. Kayla couldnt help but compliment my daughter in every dress she tried on. I did appreciate my greeting from Anna who made sure to use that beautiful voice of hers explained every detail of their policies and amazing add-ons they have (such as their complimentary alterations). Zoee, Maggie and Raquel were also very helpful giving bits of their very honest but kind opinions as they kindly took the dresses that my daughter didnt like out of her room. Alma, Dulce, and Jordan made sure to have very appropriate yet funny conversations with me, as Kenzie tried on her picks from their lovely selection. If youre looking for a place to buy any formal/wedding dress, THIS IS IT!

Everyone here was just so sweet! I dont know all of their names, but I specifically remember Mikyla being extremely helpful and funny. I felt so at home! My dress is gorgeous by the way. The only reason Im not giving 5 stars is because the hook on my dress popped off, and even after I had the beading fixed on my dress, there were still a few missing beads. Id still come back/recommend Pomp though.

I was initially really excited to come here and try on bridal gowns. When I arrived, it took a while to get greeted and everyone acted like they didn’t know anything about my appointment. I was told to pick out a few gowns, I picked three, and headed to my dressing room. The consultants told me I had to put the gown on myself...? Weird. I didn’t understand why I had to try to put a bridal gown by myself. Beats me. The dresses I did try on were beautiful though! I did not end up purchasing due to the lack of customer service, but I might give them a try in the future!

Stopped in for a quick visit when I was in Ok City and spoke with a very nice sales lady about her shop and the merchandise they carry. She seemed very knowledgeable and able to point me in the right direction. They have very beautiful gowns and dresses.

There are times in your life, when you are going to be invited to something that says formal on the invitation. For most of us, that strikes fear into our hearts, because we dont have Formal Wear of our own. Thats why this place comes in so handy, because you can rent a tux, shoes, and all of the accessories to go with it. They know what you need, and they have it here and in your size, and at a reasonable price.

I had the best experience shopping here for my wedding dress. I had been to multiple shops in the DFW area, as well as around the Texas Panhandle, and finally decided to give OKC a try (Im very indecisive). I was impressed with this shop as soon as I walked in the door. They carry a great variety of styles and designers. The women who work here are very nice, helpful, and went above and beyond in helping me find what I was looking for. They helped me figure out what I liked and didnt like and helped me narrow down my choices (which had been a near impossible task up to that point). They are one of the only shops I went to that actually provided objective feedback when I asked instead of just telling me that everything I tried on looked good. I felt that the other stores I went to just wanted me to buy a dress from them and that was their main goal. Here, they focus on wanting you to find the dress that makes you feel the most comfortable and confident. The first time I visited their store I was casually trying on dresses to still try and figure out what I was looking for, and when I returned a month later to retry on my top choices (all of which I found here), they remembered me and my preferences. I recommend this place be on every brides list of places to wedding dress shop.

I had an amazing experience here from beginning to end. I tried on A LOT of dresses and my consultant never acted like it was a bother like many other bridal boutiques I went to did. I wasnt 100% sure on the dress and came back a few days later with my mom no problem and purchased it. I had minimal alterations (completely free of charge) but the alterationis took every issue I had very seriously and handled it. Great store!

This was my fourth bridal shop to visit and after tiresome searching, I arrived here without an appointment. This didnt stop the attendant Tina from treating my maid of honor and me wonderfully. She helped us out with the dresses I chose and never made me feel rushed, despite my lack of scheduling. Every time I went back in, the service was friendly. I didnt purchase on my first visit, but the second, and Tina was always polite and helpful. The seamstress, Theresa, was amazing and very sweet! The alterations were free and they even added tool to my dress without charge. I was worried about the fit of my dress after it arrived, but the alterations eased my mind and now I cant wait to wear it on my wedding day! I recommend this bridal shop because I felt so much more comfortable here than any other shop I went to and I feel like the dresses were of a better quality too.

Original post: Pomp and Pageantry is our go to place for an awesome prom dress.Update: We really loved pomp and pageantry at first. We went there for my daughters junior and senior years dress and accessories. Their big selling point is that they register your dress. According to them they will not sell the same dress to anyone else at your school. My daughters senior year they sold the same exact dress to 2 girls from the same school. A very small school at that. It was noticeable and I was sad for both girls. When I determined that the store had in fact done this, I reached out to them. I didnt want anything but I did want them to take responsibility and maybe explain how this happened. They got all the details from me and said they would look into it and then stopped replying. I know they opened messages and read them, but they no longer reply. I never got my answer as to how or why. Disappointed doesnt cover what I feel now. I thought they would always be my go to shop but now I wont ever go back again. If you pay for a high end dress and they say they are going to register it, you expect them to keep their word. At least I did.

I had such a wonderful experience at pomp and pageantry! Hailey was so sweet and SO helpful! She listened to every word I said and made me feel great. Constantly pulling dressee for me and also suggest types of dresses I wouldn’t have picked out that I ended up loving, she really knows what she’s doing! She really made my experience a breeze. I was even in love with the dressing room I got to try the wedding dresses on in! They never once rushed me they wanted me to find MY dress and fall in love. They have such a great selection too! They even offered everyone with me water! Mikyla also helped and made sure I was reminded it was my day not my parties day and made sure I loved my dress and really reminded me to stay true to me! They were both so great and helpful I hope everyone gets to experience that kind of appointment! Also I couldn’t be more happy with the price! They made my special day even better! I’ll always recommend pomp and pageantry to my friends!

Great experience, nice place full of beautiful dresses. We bought my sisters dress here. Although you have to be carful and look at tags. We were the very first scheduled apt for the day. And the very 1st dress my sister tried on was the one she wanted. Then we were told after being there for a couple of hours, tried on dress twice, kept talking about the price outloud... once we were all dont and we stated that was the dress we were told that the dress was in the wrong garment bag and the price was different and was upped over $300. This was very upsetting. No one made this right! If the dress was truly in the wrong bag it was the employees fault considering the dress was on the floor in this bag. When we pulled it and the employee looked at it nothing was ever said until the point of sale.

Beautiful dresses but be aware you need to have some people come with you to help you dress. The staff doesnt do that for you.

I have been trying for two weeks to get Chaffee to return my call about a dress we sent and still no return call. I am not sure if they are avoiding me or just lack professionalism. Either way there should be concern to anyone that might have to communicate with this company, be aware you may not get a response.

This place is a joke run run run do not waste your money employees act like its a big deal to assist you and against our better judgment we purchased dresses and shoes, was told they had to ship them in and after two weeks they contacted me and informed me that the dresses we ordered are no longer made but they could sell us similar ones for 100 more, I declined but kept the shoes on order after they came in they had to be sent out to be colored and came back with the heels peeling up and they acted like I should be jumping for joy. I asked them to get me a new pair and after another week I received a call that they dont have any more. what a big waste of time and energy dont bother the managers are snooty and lazy, as well as the staff.

I got my wedding dress here. I rated it a 1/5 because of many reasons. I was initially SO happy to find my dream dress marked down 50% here. I still ended up paying over $850 for my dress, which at the time I thought was such a bargain!! I was unfortunately so caught up in the moment that I didnt realize how many issues were wrong with it until after I purchased it, but beings this was the first day ever shoppong for wedding dress, I purchased it on the spot. My advice if you find the dress here, look over it thoroughly for rips and tears, cleanliness, straps missing, etc.They also never told me that I do not get free alterations if I purchase a discounted gown. I called and set an appointment only for the lady to book me then tell me actually they couldnt do it free. As a paying customer, having paid how much I paid in this store, I was upset that they never told me this. As a paying customer, why should it matter if I got my dress on sale or not??? Especially on how much I spent!The dress was dirty on the inside from people who had tried it on before, there were rips and tears, parts of the corset area not even there anymore and quite a few other small things wrong with it. Things I didnt notice because I was so caught up in the moment when I purchased it.When I found my own seamstress, she was in shock at how much I paid at pomp and pageantry for how much alterations needed to be done. The dress was way over priced for the condition it was in. Thankfully I found an AMAZING seamstress to save the day. But PLEASE be cautious when purchasing here, especially on discounted gowns.

I purchased my wedding dress from Pomp and Pageantry and was very pleased. However, now that our wedding is done I am left with much disappointment. Every time I was in Pomp and Pageantry I was told about their tux shop next door. Both the owner and the employees pushed for brides to use L’Arsenale Tuxes. Pomp and Pageantry owned L’Arsenale. Brides who purchased their dresses with Pomp and Pageantry received incomparable prices for tuxes through L’Arsenale. I began discussing our options with L’Arsenale about 14 months prior to our wedding. As we were instructed, we placed our order about 4 weeks prior to our wedding. We were planning on buying 6 tuxes from them. Chaffee, manager of L’Arsenale, and son of Pomp and Pageantry owner, was who I worked with throughout with whole process. Chaffee told me that we would have our tuxes 3 weeks prior to our wedding date. I heard that same story every other day for about two weeks. When it came to the week of our wedding, we called Chaffee every day, multiple times a day. Each time we spoke he ensured that we would have our tuxes, “they were getting the final pieces together” he would say. Friday night, the night before our wedding day, Chaffee swore he would have all the tuxes delivered to our house before midnight. That never happened. Saturday morning, our wedding day, our guys had nothing to wear. We called Chaffee and he said he didn’t have anything for us. He did however, tell us the name of another tux shop to call and claimed he would pay for our tuxes through them. We had paid Chaffee $677.34, August 18th, 2016 when we ordered our tuxes. We have yet to receive a refund. Thankfully our guys were able to receive matching tuxes in time, from Linh’s Bridal and Fashion. According to the owner of Linh’s Bridal and Fashion, Chaffee had put him into this same position many times. Calling him the morning of countless weddings needing him to pull groups of tuxes together. The owner of Linh’s cut us an amazing deal because of the situation, but we still had to pay him $780.30. Because of Chaffee we had to pay for two sets of tuxes. We paid for a rental set from Linh’s and a bought set from L’Arsenale that we NEVER received. Because of Chaffee, the men in our bridal party didn’t have tuxes to wear. Because of Chaffee, our wedding could have single handed been ruined. Because of Chaffee, we are out $1,457.64.Thank you to Linh’s Bridal and Fashion for saving the day and our wedding. Without you who knows what the men in our bridal party would have had to wear to the wedding.Now, nearly 6 weeks later we have yet to hear from Chaffee. We have called him countless times and have heard nothing back. We have visited L’Arsenale and the doors are locked. We have tried to speak with his mother, owner of Pomp and Pageantry and she refuses to take ownership of what her son has done to THEIR brides. If it weren’t for Pomp and Pageantry I would have never used L’Arsenale Tuxes. I believed Pomp and Pageantry was a great bridal shop, but it is very disappointing and disheartening that they won’t take ownership for their tux shop. Because L’Arsenale and Chaffee single handedly ruined peoples wedding days, Pomp and Pageantry needs to make it right for their brides. It is their business, their family, and their reputation. I hope their conscience will lead them to do what is right.

HORRIBLE. I made an appointment and drove from Tulsa to OKC to look for wedding dresses. When I walked in I was greeted with a Can I help you with something in an annoyed tone. When I stated that I had an appointment she replied for what. That was my very first red flag. All the other boutiques I had gone to were excited that we were there and knew I was coming. I am not a size 0 and the only dresses they had that were worth looking at were on the mannequins and extremely small! The dress selection they did have in my size (10-12) was maybe 6 dresses that didnt look the same. She showed me to the fitting room and said to let her know when I was ready for her to come in a zip me up. When I was ready she was NO WHERE to be found. I had to call my maid of honor in there to zip me up. When I asked why the dresses ran so small she had the nerve to tell me I was trying on designer dresses and this wasnt davids bridal I had been trying on designer dresses all day that didnt fit like that and I have never tried on dresses at davids bridal so that struck a nerve with me. Bottom line........ HORRIBLE customer service, terrible selection and they are not willing to help you. I left within 20 minutes of walking in the door and was on to the next boutique!

Worst experience with a bridal boutique. I attempted to get a hold of this shop for a few days, via phone. After NEVER getting an answer, which I thought was very odd, I decided to inquire by email. On their site it states We do not accept bridal appointments online. If you are unable to get through, please message us below with your number and the best time to call. So, I gave my name, number and told them exactly what I wanted, thinking that this would not be an issue since it was 5 days in advance and I was requesting an appointment on a monday at 1 pm. Who goes on a monday at 1 pm...not that many people. Instead of responding via phone call, they replied, by email, with Heres our number, call us back. Are you serious?! I am going to spend over $1500 on a dress and you dont have the decency to call ME, the customer back? So, ignoring my judgement, I decided to give them another chance and called them multiple times on monday morning. What do you know, no one answered, so I showed up. Instead of being greeted by a pleasant worker, I was greeted by a snarky, obviously miserable, little girl. I told her my name and that I had been trying to get a hold of them for some time. The snarky little girls response, did you not check your email? I was steaming. How could someone be so rude? Yes, I did check my email, the one you sent DAYS after my first inquiry, followed by countless phone calls that were met with zero answers. I had been warned by multiple brides to not go here and I wish I would have listened. I had been warned that the workers were rude, it takes forever to receive your dress, and alterations werent free or took forever, or shocker, never called you back in regards to your dress.After this horrible experience, I googled bridal boutiques in OKC and surrounding areas. BeLoved Boutique in Norman popped up. AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING. I cannot think of a single negative thing to say about BeLoved. After leaving pomp and pageantry, I called BeLoved to find out that they were closed on mondays, bummer. BUT after talking for a few minutes the owner asked when I could be at the boutique because she would open up her shop to me. Can you believe it? AMAZING. I was about to have an entire boutique all to my self. Once I arrived, I was informed that the owner had called in a girl, Gabby, to help me and was greeted with sparkling water and champagne. Now, that is service. They never acted bothered or put out that I was there and never rushed me. I tried on several dresses, some even twice, and was never rushed. As you can imagine, this is where I said yes to the dress!! Gabby was amazing and I hope all brides can experience BeLoved Boutique and that no other bride has to endure pomp and pageantry.On a side note, google prefers for you to fill in a score, pomp and pageantry does not deserve the one star that I gave them. Google should offer negative stars :)
