I shopped furniture items for my living room, dining room, and bedroom from Pottery Barn and West Elm. I earned key rewards for my purchases. I decided to use those reward dollars for placing an online order at Pottery Barn. After 3 weeks of placing the order, I checked the status and was surprised that my order was canceled by them. They did not even inform me about this. When I called the customer care, I was told that there was a problem with billing address. Unbelievable! I still have furniture items scheduled for delivery at the same address. I am their rewards member.; they had my contact information in the system. No one bothered to contact me me on my phone or email.In the mean time, my rewards expired and they refused to replace the order or extend reward certificates. They really did not have any good explanation why my order was canceled. I believe that if I had paid from my credit card instead of using their reward certificates, they would have shipped my order. Highly unprofessional!!
I was so excited about the Harry Potter collection and ordered the bookends, only to have them arrive chipped. I sent them back for a replacement and its two months later, with no bookends. The tracking information says theyve been backordered and Ive been offered nothing for the inconvenience, not even a coupon. I sure wont spend $100 here again.
I am a devoted Pottery Barn customer. I love the quality of their towels, bed linens and home decor. However when I order online it seems everything is back ordered. Rather than finding the information in a follow up email? I found out via the tracking information. Its especially embarrassing because its a wedding gift. Who would possibly send just the pillow shams without a duvet? A simple and kinder resolution would be an offer of an alternative that would ship sooner. Now my gift is in backorder hell. Ive dealt with this before with PB. Its either cancelled or shows up 6 months later when youve completely forgotten that you ordered it. Considering their prices arent inexpensive I think some measure of thoughtful customer service is in order.
Both of my daughters bought items for their nursery and had horrific experiences! Took 4+ months to receive and then when there were problems, told there was only A 30 DAY GUARANTEE! Absolutely unbelievable! This company had degraded to one that cares NOTHING for it’s customers!!
Nice size store with a fun variety of merchandise for the home. Located in Penn Square Mall.
It was clean and pretty well organized. The employees were nice, but almost overbearing. I like being helped, but not followed around.
Donna and the new employee were very helpful even when I didnt know my registry number. What brings my rating down is Nancy. She said loudly We dont have a bathroom! when I was walking to the back to check out the towels I ended up buying. When the new girl brought us to Nancys register she was very short with her and did not listen when she said she wasnt in the system. It wasnt until a male employee approached and said she wasnt in the system that she listened. Very unprofessional and really brought the experience down.
I was in the store recently and couldn’t find what I was looking for. Ashley, my sales associate, really helped turn my visit around. She brightened my day with her lovely spirit. Need more of that around this year for sure!
I WISH I COULD POST PICTURES!!! (Edit: I posted them to the main photos part of this page)I was so excited to get Pottery Barn silverware and a dining set for my wedding a few year back. I got the great white set of dishes and the bowls chiped almost immediately. I also got copper handled silverware that I loved. I spent great length speaking to the sales staff when I registered to ensure everything was dishwasher safe etc. ALL THE COPPER ON THE HANDLES IS WEARING OFF and looks horrible. I brought them in to show the manager just a few months after the wedding. They said there was nothing they could do. They were very expensive and I was hoping to have them for years and years.... They are now just embarrassing and we will replace them this year. Terrible products and worse customer service 😔.

Beautiful home decor & furniture. The staff are surprisingly friendly if slightly standoffish. While they have a decent inventory of items, particularly smaller stuff, this is mostly a showroom. Larger items are almost always ordered and shipped in-store or to your home. Watch out for high shipping costs. In fact, watch out for high prices in general. Pottery Barn has gorgeous stuff and the prices reflect that. This is the kind of place where a sofa might set you back $4000 dollars. Highly quality stylish stuff just be prepared to spend.

Love this place, but very pricy
Wish the customer service was better at this location as I usually love PB products. Stood at the checkout counter for about five minutes with literally no staff in sight. Finally managed to flag down a saleswoman in the front and she acted like I was really putting her out for her to come help me. Sorry to interrupt your napkin arranging. I’ll stick to shopping online from now on.

Pottery Barn has all kinds of pottery, but thats not all. It has all kinds of other things to choose from as well. If you are a gardener, someone who enjoys working with plants, this is a great place to come. If youre looking for a way to decorate your backyard, this is a great place. Come on by.

I have had the worst experience with pottery barn. Spent about $9,000 in the store on July 4th. They originally had the address wrong, not sure if their fault or mine. I called to change address and they said it would change delivery date... okay that’s fine. My delivery date got changed until today... somehow they showed up two days ago with only two piece??? Communication is lacking on all ends. I had to rush to leave work to meet people who weren’t even supposed to be there until today. Just now received the rest of the products in home hand delivery. One item has a drawer that doesn’t function, and the bench they brought was scratch all over. They are supposed to replace these items, we will see. They also shipped an armed chair UPS and told me the other chair, exact same one, was coming hand delivery but didn’t show up with my order. They are exact same chair... why didn’t they come together? Then I called to tell them I want to exchange two piece and I was told they don’t do exchange.. that’s fine I’ll return and rebuy. They then proceed to tell me that I was credited back for the other arm chair, I ask why... said they were back ordered. Well that would have been nice to know I got credited back the money and never was going receive the chair. When you spend that much money somewhere you expect a certain level of customer service. They have offered no other accomodations and I have spent the last half of last month on the phone with them. I was a big pottery barn fan until this. Just forewarning next customers! The items are beautiful, too bad!

Passed three associates that completely ignored us. Only one gentlemen in a fuzzy beige sweater said anything to us. Needless to say, I didnt buy anything. As high priced as they are, you should at least get decent service.
AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot get over the outright rudeness of the employees & managers. Oh well attitude toward correcting their mistakes - staff does not know their products. Pottery Barn needs a revamping - miss the old customer service atmosphere.
