During my visit to Sephora in Penn Square Mall, I was helped by Irene in the perfume section. She was incredibly nice, personable, and knowledgeable. I told her the perfume I typically wear and was looking for a deeper alternative for winter. She gave me great recommendations, sprayed them all for me, and even had some suggestions based on other scent notes I really enjoy. She took her time to help me and I really appreciate that. Needless to say I walked away with a full sized bottle and my new winter fragrance.
Over all had a good experience. The first one to help me out was nice however I got the vibe that she was rushing me with time. How ever the second worker Kenia was super helpful, and patient with me I may be took about 15 minutes overtime or longer. I ended up spending lot more money just off of her willingness to help me. Donnikka was super helpful with my skin care choices. Also was extremely kind and willing to take care of informing me on all the knowledge she had about the products which made me purchase another item.

I bought a mint HUDABEAUTY pastel pallette for myself and then my daughter gifted me the same pallette. They refused to do an even exchange (for a rose pastel pallette) because my daughter ordered it when it was on sale. Their logic was that I should pay the difference for the SAME PRODUCT that they are going to turn around and put on their shelves and sell for FULL PRICE. I have worked retail, an even exchange is an even exchange. Glad I wasted a trip and walked the length of the mall on crutches so they could be incompetent.

They dont carry the products I use anymore and its not more sanitary to test lipstick on my hand from a swab than on my lips. If you dont want people testing your products, remove the testers, instead of waiting to catch your customers in the act and treating them with a condescending and argumentative attitude.I dont care about the policy as much as I care about terrible customer service from snotty reps. You sell cosmetics. Get over yourself. I left without purchasing anything. Theres a reason why I only buy online and I might be doing so from a different store now. Ive literally never received good customer service from this location.
I don’t buy makeup or base often so when I got one for $45 I expected it to be a great product until I drove half an hour home only to see it expired in February!!! Super upset, so today I came back and they didn’t have any in stock so they had to order it online and they charged an extra 20 cents for it so now I have to wait a week for it to even come in.They didn’t even bother checking to see if anything else expired and kept letting people buy there stuff so I won’t be a returning customer.
Donnikka was extremely helpful very nice and knowledgeable concerning all our make-up & facial needs. She made the experience so enjoyable!!

The third, I presume manager, was up at the front and would from time to time go to the back. She saw myself and my girlfriend multiple times never once saying hello or asking if we need assistance. One time we catch her and do ask her for help she looks at us and explains that one of the other ladies who is a specialist will have to assist us.1. The specialist was busy2. You are not busy since I just saw you leaning on the counter at the front3. You are the manager you do not know your store and its products?I promptly left the store and will not be purchasing from this location. As the only male in the store I cant help but wonder if my experience was exclusive to me or not.

I love Sephora! Especially better than Ulta. When I go to Ulta I can never find anyone to help me, like I wander the store looking for help. Sephora always has plenty of people working so I can find help easily. Sephoras employees seem well educated and answer my questions easily. Also, before COVID they would give you a sample of anything you wanted to try. I dont think they can right now but hopefully that will come back. Love this place!
Honestly felt so out of place here, one of those stores where the workers are snotty and stuck up, almost drove me out of the store. not impressed
Last week I was helped by a lady named D . I told her I was looking for a cc cream that would not break me out. She showed me some options and gave me info. Very kind and helpful !
It seems that a member of your leadership team is unable to set the example for excellent customer service. I have been ignored at this location several times since my departure as an employee, but in no way do I expect a sugary welcome from her. I do expect to be treated fairly and, at the very least, acknowledged with eye contact. 3 times you have ignored my friend who came with me to shop. Yesterday, you ignored my coworker, who I helped build a basket for. If you are incapable of working past what makes you uncomfortable, then what example are you seeing for others in terms of growth?
Not my favorite Sephora but not the worst. It gets really crowded and it can be difficult to get help if you have a question.
