Always a great time when I go here. Found an amazing dress for the holidays that Im going to enjoy wearing. Once again the owner is so friendly. Wonderful clothing.
My best friend and I love this business! They are always so sweet and kind! One thing that made them stick out from the rest is they were extremely respectful and willing to work with me, even after I explained that I have religious dressing standards. I have dealt with retail workers getting annoyed with my standards but they managed to do this without shame or disrespect, although we did not share the same beliefs. GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS, THEY ARE WORTH IT! The selection and sizing is crazy wide and the quality is worth the price! I bought a strawberry dress from them and paid the fair price of I believe $90. I could be wrong on the price, but I found it fair and worth it!
Great vibe, great vintage styled clothes, great customer service.
Wonderful service and support from the owner and her store clerk.A bigger selection than I could have imagined. Womens and mens fits to die for.
Great store! I got a gift card for my wife there and they were friendly. When my wife went, she said they had a great selection of retro dresses and were very helpful.
They are always closed on the days they are supposed to be open. The time I did go over there they were very rude and unprofessional store was dirty and had a funny smell.
Always wanted to come here and finally found the time to today. They immediately lost my business when I walked in and saw the staff walking around without face masks...during the height of a dangerous pandemic. The clothing looked wonderful, but I didn’t feel safe being in there. Disrespectful.
Go to Endless Indulgence if you want an absolutely amazing retro reproduction shopping experience. This is my happy place.
We had a blast clothes were amazing and fun.
This place never disappoints! Always the best selection of the most gorgeous dresses. Well worth the trip.
Fantastic owners and such a fun shop.I always enjoy myself going there.A lot to see and drool over.Just love love this place. Truly enjoy the personal attention as well.
Incredibly helpful and caring staff with an amazing selection out outfits!
What a great place! The owners are so knowledgeable and the clothing fantastic. Just a fun place to be in.
I LOVE this shop! Carrie made me feel comfortable and helped me find the correct sizes and styles for my shape. The shop makes you feel like family. Carrie and Rich are fun to visit with !
Love this place. Great new vintage clothing for men & women. Wonderful owner. Shop local.
Love the selection of classy retro dress up for men and women. In love with the amount of unique and whimsical accessories! The shop owner is delightful to work with and has the best customer service. Highly recommend!
I loved this retro shop! It had stunning womens and mens wear along with accessories. It was so fun to walk through and look at all the interesting and fun items in the store. It was like going back in time!
Super fun store and great staff. Friendly service. I’ll return again and again.
I was browsing in the store. And I thought the clothes were cute. I had a shirt in my hand I wanted to buy. Then I mentioned that dresses don’t do me justice so the owner of the store showed me a dress she thought would look cute on me. I made a comment about the dress being ugly and she got very mad and said she designed the dress then proceeded to grab the shirt out of my hand and told me to get out of her shop.
Owner was so rude. Red headed lady made me feel like I wasnt good enough to be in her store. I wanted to support local business but ended up buying identical items online for a fraction of the cost.
Great folks, great items!
I have been here at least two times and its so charming. I spoke to the owners on my first visit and they were so nice and helpful. Very knowledgeable as well. The store is nicely organized and the owners buy American-made items. Great place, cute clothing, and fun to visit. I follow them on Instagram and they always have events going on. This is a great local shop-very unique.
Me and my girlfriend got exactly what we wanted, it ended up being very expensive but it was worth it. Also, they had dogs walking around and I loved petting them and having them sit with me. It made my day!
Love love love this store. The owners are awesome and are extremely helpful in finding you the right size and fit. I normally feel uncomfortable trying on clothes at stores but not here they make me feel at ease. Well worth the drive to go there.
EI is wonderful. Carrie and Rich are so helpful and knowledgeable. Its always a treat coming here.
The best place for any and all Retro wear! Plus Carrie and Rich make you feel like family! Love love love this place!
The clothes are great but the owners are incredibly rude
Absolutely love it!! The owners are very nice and helpful. Beautiful store and merchandise. I will definitely keep going back!! ❤️ ❤️
If you think an excellent selection of retro clothing, wonderful service, knowledgable owners is good, this is your place to shop. Wed known about the place, but its a long drive for me. Saturday was nice They dog said we all needed a good drive. What better place to check out. The dog had to wait in the car.Find a style, or two, you like. Get help. They will help with sizing (suitable for more sizes than many stores) and fit.In the end, we arrived; we shopped; we purchased, and left happy.
I love this store! Carrie is always friendly and super helpful. Its always a pleasant experience.
Great little shop. The people are even better.
Carrie and the girls are absolutely wonderful!!! No matter your size they will be able to find you the perfect vintage style dress for any occasion! Even on the rare occasion I leave empty handed, I have a big smile on my face!!! Highly recommended!! -Marlee
I think this is the best store for vintage repro in Utah. They stock so many brands and sizes, they even host events. The shop owners are nice and Carrie knows her stuff, she could tell my size from looking at me! I always want to go back here and just have a shopping spree and probably will one day. If youre a pinup or just like retro go check it out and bring your guy. There are mens clothes and couches to sit on if theyre just tagging along. Then go eat at a nice place nearby because Ogden is bomb.
The staff is very nice and helpful. I love the clothes here.
Love love love love this shop. The clothing is all US made, the prices are very reasonable, the location is in Ogdens Historical 25th Street. Parking can be squishy, but the real 5 stars go to the owners Carrie and Rich. Walking in Carrie can quickly assess what will fit or wont. Its like magic! Shes always spot on. This brings me to the personalized attention anyone gets at EI. Other shops, the staff is meh, find your clothes, we will open the dressing room. At EI, its as if youre the only one there, your own private shopping experience, even when the place is bustling with other shoppers . Shop local-eat local.
Great service, lovely shopkeepers, marvelous selection of vintage inspired clothing and acessories, and the best shop dogs.
Ogden location. My girlfriend and I dropped in to look at some dresses for a murder mystery party. The dresses were pretty cute but the proprietors seemed to be a suspicious/controlling lot. Signs all over walls stating the rules (such as no drinks because people dont fess up when they spill said drinks) and smile your on camera posted everywhere. My girlfriend picked out a few dresses to try on, and the owner insisted on zipping her up, while standing directly outside of the fitting room like a hawk. Sorry, but Im perfectly capable of zipping up my girlfriends dress. My girlfriend wasnt comfortable being touched by this overbearing stranger. The owner also offered her unsolicited opinion about the dress, telling her that she didnt look good in the dress.Instead of trying on the other dresses, we bailed. The vibe of the shop/owner was just too bizarre.
Has a nice mens clothing section too! Outstanding mid-century style clothes.
Always a delight! This store is one of my favorite shopping experiences!
A friend of mine loves this store and has probably spent plenty of money there over the years. I excitedly finally decided to make a trip down to Ogden from Logan to check the store out. I had my two kids (8 & 12) with me who were well behaved and my mother. From the moment I entered the store I did not feel welcome at all. My daughter was looking at some cute shoes but when we saw the price I said that I didnt want to spend that much on shoes. The man behind the counter then made a comment in a disgusted tone saying why does everyone have to be concerned about money? Well Ill tell you why buddy, theres a big difference between spending $54 on shoes for a twelve year old whos feet are growing like weeds then spending $54 on shoes for a grown woman. Sorry if youre so bothered that I dont like carelessly spending my hard earned money. Spending money on a dress that can be grown into, adjusted and worn for 3 or 4 years or longer is a different story. But, the lady who was running the store, and who I assume is the owner, was very standoffish the entire time we were in the store. I understand that they recently had some theft but come on. I had a small purse, my kids and mother with me, wasnt wearing sunglasses or a hat or acting suspicious in any way yet I feel like she treated me as though I were already a criminal. When I asked her for sizing recommendations she was downright rude about it. Though I loved the clothing and accessories her rudeness was the last straw and in the end I didnt feel like spending a dime there and decided to finally leave.
Fabulous! Great inventory of fun retro clothing & gear. Great for gifts, but I want it all for myself!
Beautiful clothing but one employee seemed to shame me for being small and convinced me not to buy a dress I was planning on buying because I couldnt fill it despite liking the fit. Maybe it was just this specific employee with this attitude but she lost my business for seeming to be humored that I would purchase their products with my body type.
EI is THE place to shop whether for vintage looks, trendy gifts, or how fantastic you look when you walk out because Carrie wont let you leave in something that doesnt fit well! Customer service is on a whole new level in this little shop and its become a beating heart of downtown 25th street in Ogden. I havent bought a dress anywhere else in 4 years.
The owner was very condescending and yelled at me for grabbing a pair of shoes in my size that I wanted try on. she also snapped at me when I tried to take a photo of a dress that i wanted to show my mom. overall I was not impressed and its safe to say that i will not be coming back
What a great place!!! The owners are wonderful people, accommodating, friendly, helpful and down to earth.
Beautiful quality clothing. Nice variety and helpful customer service. A+
The old woman with red wavyish hair was really disrespectful to my friend. Not just during this visit but previous ones as well. Today, we went in and my friend had askes at what age do they hire. But before her sentence was finished the lady replied with a loud, rude, NO. So my Friend got quiet and wanted to leave. But when I noticed how confused she was as to what she did wrong, and how upset she was, I called the store to let them know what happened and how unprofessional it was. I called the store 12 times and finally just walked back because I didnt want this to go unsolved. I told the lady that what she did seemed disrespectful and she told me that she couldnt hear of the music and that its Saturday, so its been busy. Well if 2 people is too busy and thats how you treat other clients when they ask a question while youre stressed out by 2 other customers, then maybe you shouldnt work in retail. And when she said my friend was more than welcome to come back I explained to her that she doesnt want to because she felt like he was unwanted there, the lady said that well she can still come back but if shes too fragile . No. Do not talk about your customers like that. The disrespect was unbelievable how is this woman still in a job? Am i the only one who experienced this behavior?
Extremely rude owners and unprofessional customer service. They care more about their precious clothes than their customers. I was ignored while browsing the shop and the owners had a loud conversation amongst themselves without sparing me a glance. When trying on clothes, there was no mirror in the dressing room, and the owner was impatient with me taking my time. She was also insulting and took a clothing article out of my hand to replace it with a larger size after looking me up and down, making comments about how she didnt want for me to burst her buttons or seams. Signs in the shop ward off bringing children, carrying drinks, taking pictures, or even touching the clothes. I was excited to find a vintage retro shop in local Ogden but after visiting and having such an anxiety-invoking and insulting experience, I will never be back. Obviously they are doing perfectly fine without my or anyone elses business.
Great service. Nice selection of retro clothing.
Hands down the BEST dress store in Utah. I own a ton of dresses, cardigans, trousers, skirts, blouses, and accessories from here. Carrie (the owner) is super helpful when you need help finding something special, but keep in mind she is very direct and doesnt sugar coat things, so if youre looking for someone to blow smoke up your backside to make the sale this isnt the place for you. She is brutally honest about what is going to fit you and how it is going to fit, this is a GOOD thing people! All that being said Im amazed at how many people claim to not have a good experience here and I think they may need to temper their expectations. You arent going to get personal service, amazing clothing, and a fantastic experience if you dont put a little effort it, and you wont get those things for free.Things to keep in mind before going...#1 - Have some manners! This is not your bedroom/closet, treat the merchandise and the owners with some respect. Introduce yourself and let them know what you are looking for, good manners go a LONG way. Youll have a much better experience than if you slink in, browse around, ignore the owners, and slink out without saying a word. #2 - This is a small local business that works really hard to bring you QUALITY products, mostly American made, that you cant find anywhere else in Utah. Dont expect things to be cheap. You get what you pay for and what you pay for here is Quality pieces that will last you a lifetime if you treat them right. #3 - They do have 2 lovely shop dogs and I love both of them. However if you really dont like dogs or are allergic, you may want to steer clear. #4 - Check facebook first, not the website. New products are always listed on facebook first and shell let you know if something is close to selling out. #5 - Dont get your heart set on any one style that you see on their page. Go in ask Carrie for help finding something that just for you, she has an amazing eye for cut, color, and fit. You might be surprised what you find if you are willing to ask for and accept her help. #6 - This isnt a kids store. They carry products for discerning adults, they do not carry kids products. Lets be honest, kids get bored when youre shopping, and they touch stuff and even when they are good tend to cause issues when left alone too long. Do yourself a favor and get a sitter before going. They are a retail store, not a day care. #7 - This shop is run by just two people and if it is busy or they have an event going on you may have to wait your turn for help or to check out, be patient!
I wish I could give this place a higher rating.I needed a petticoat of a specific length and called ahead to see what they had. Whoever I spoke with on the phone (male) was extremely polite and helpful both times I called, but I ended up deciding to make the trip from SLC up to Ogden anyway since its hard to decide things like this over the phone. I was just hoping the petticoats would be short enough. When I got to the store, the shop owner didnt greet me or notice me at all, fair enough, she was with another customer. I went on my own into the dressing room and when I stepped out she basically ridiculed me (the petticoat was too long, which was my fear) I found her tone to be extremely condescending and mothery.I brushed off the feeling and decided to look around a bit anyway, because I had come so far. (half a tank of gas!) I saw a bin of scarves and started looking through them, and the owner, who was again ignoring me in favor of the other customer, snapped at me that I was touching her scarves and to ONLY touch the ones on display. I asked, shocked, where the display was and she pointed to a far corner wall that was on the perpendicular side of a dressing room--not exactly in the open. The whole thing was so strange. I felt very embarrassed because she treated it as though I was licking her clothes or something, like I was a dog. And this was in contrast with how syrupy sweet and attentive she was being to the other customer. I actually cried on the way home because she was so rude and for no reason at all. I wont be going back, needless to say. I have an inkling that she was being biased because I have a very deep southern accent and her poor treatment of me seemed to start when she heard me talking in the dressing room, but thats only something I can speculate at. I just know that she treated me like absolute dirt, I have never been more upset, and I felt compelled to leave an honest review because she was -that- unprofessional.
EI is the best at everything retro: beautiful outfits, and hands down the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.
I decided to check this dress shop out hoping to find some new retro wear. When I asked about their plus size dresses I was told that they no longer carry plus size and the reason being is that plus women never shop in their store. From there the clothes sit on the shelves until they hit the clerance rack. That wasnt the bad part. The bad part was the deliverance of the messge the lady who im guessing is the owner seemed to be upset with me for even asking. I felt so unwated and that fat women were simply not allowed in her store. I would say that at best try purchasing your vintage clothing online.
Prices are high but the owner is super nice. I would shop here again.
Classy retro chilling with first class service and help fitting your dress
Cute clothes, great people!! Thanks!
The wife sure does love their great dresses.
My friends and I walked in and began browsing while another friend went deeper into the store. We were laughing about some joke about thirty seconds after walking into the store and one of the employees approached us and with a very mean tone asked us are you guys actually shopping or just playing around? We said we were shopping, and continued to browse much more apprehensive since we felt unwelcome after being approached like that. We then found our friend again, and as we walked a little bit behind her, another employee approached her and asked are they with you? as if she was in danger or theyd kick us out otherwise. She said that we were and we kept browsing, but at that point we felt so unwelcome that we decided to leave, all within two minutes of walking into the store. The clothes in there are great, but ridiculously expensive and not worth the price. Im never going in again.
They have the greatest clothes and the owners is so full of passion.
Owner is on a power trip. Went to buy something that I couldve purchased online but thought Id buy local. When something caught my eye that would make a good gift idea. I pulled out my smart phone to take a photo because I wanted to know if he would wear it. I was told there was no photography and was referred to their website aka Facebook to look at their merchandise. Whats the diff if I save the image off of a webpage or take the photo myself? If its for proprietary reasons, dont post it on the Internet lol. And the best advertising is via word of mouth.Anyway, I felt the thing was stupid and posted a comment on their Facebook page describing what I did here and was encouraged to shop someplace else. Poor customer service. I wont be back.
They wouldnt let me buy the umbrella on the wall.
Super cute retro clothes and very helpful staff
Love love love Endless Indulgence! Carrie is always super nice and helpful!!
I get that its suppose to be retro and vintage, but the mens section was very limited in options and overpriced
Got my wifes dress for the indie Ogden award here, they are some of the most friendliest people you will run into in Ogden.
Classic 50s and 60s clothing and items for men and women.
Fantastic inventory and service!
I was about to make a big purchase but the male owner was very rude, impolite and loud.
Dresses fit perfectly!
What a fun store!!! Love retro!!!
