They have great prices for their oil changes and were able to get me in quickly. Everyone was professional and friendly. They did everything very efficiently and got me out faster than they estimated. This was a great experience I will definitely be back. Other places wanted $100 for an oil change on my truck they were half price for my truck. When you need an oil change check them out. They have a great deal if you buy a three pack.
I wouldnt give a good review at all. The man Shane who helped me had a different persona as soon as my bank caught their hands in the cookie jar. They were very helpful and friendly, and I even told him I worked for the crooks Contrubus and I said I quit because of how dirty and underhanded they were. What happens next a truck I found on line for 67000 went to 82,500 with tax for the base model of the GMC AT4 in auto trader. They are price gouging because of the inflation. Then my car that is worth over 18000 they wanted to give me 10000 because it needed a 1200 dollar bumper. When my bank told them to deflate the sale or no deal he didnt care. He said how it would sell quickly, its still sitting there on the lot. Dont go to these guys, they will rip you off. I also know this from family, they used to work here. They would over bill the insurance back then, they did this to make a lot of money. Dont waste your time, money or life.. Go to a Young dealership, they will work with you and give you a fair price.
I called directly to the dealership pressed option two to get service gave the gal my Vin number for my truck for her to check on the recall she booked me an appointment said it would take a half a day my husband took time off work to bring the truck all the way up to the dealership only to find out they didn’t have a part and sent him away I proceeded to call another GMC dealership in Utah gave them my Vin number same Vin number I gave to the gal at Ken Garff only this gal found that the recall is incomplete which means there is not a replacement part for it as of yet so totally wasting my time driving to Riverdale when GMC has not even released a fix for the recall thanks for the great customer service We will definitely not be using Ken Garff GMC of Riverdale !
I brought my Sierra in after being told by different auto part stores that checked to see if the battery was bad said that something else was wrong. When the battery tested good, I was it was a gauge malfunction, then an alternator was going out, regulator and so on. I’m traveling and I was having anxiety of breaking down in the middle of nowhere. I went to Ken Garff to find out what was wrong with my pick up. Brandon checked me in and was very courteous listening to what I had say. I received updates and a video from the service technician and it turned out that nothing was wrong that I had been told by the other people. I did ask questions and was given details about the tests performed which helped with reassurance after the “seeds of doubt” had been planted by the other people. I think the Ken Garff service personnel I encountered were honest, treated me with respect and were very pleasant to deal with. I would return to that dealership for future services. Thank you Brandon, Service Technician, and Steve (shuttle driver) for taking care of me.

Had my Yukon in for recall work and an oil change while it was being worked on. Got it back and within a few days it was leaking from both the plug and filter. Called in to have it looked at and hopefully fixed by them since it wasn’t leaking bad before, and was told I would receive a call back from the tech. Never got that call back, and will be fixing it myself today to make sure it’s done right.Update: got a call back from Joey, the GM. The above issue is being corrected by their team. While stuff happens, I personally am appreciative when there is an attempt made to rectify it. So a sincere thank you to Joey and the team at Ken Garff GMC.

They were extremely helpful. The location of the vehicle we wanted to view was in Ogden and we live in Herriman, so 1.5 hour drive (3 hours round trip). We told them we didnt want to come if the vehicle had a lot of cosmetic damage. Dawson went out and made a full walk around video for us so that we knew it wasnt covered in scratches and dents (which had been our experience at several other dealers). They were also incredibly respectful of our time and our concerns, they had my paperwork all ready to go when we came to sign and I was out the door in less than 20 minutes. Im pretty dissatisfied with my experience. I recently too my truck in for fuel issue (fuel pump and fuel sender) vehicle would not start when parked on an upward hill and had my truck engine power reduced when I was pulling because lack of file pressure. So I took it in and they ended up replacing the fuel pump and sender. Picked up my truck and I was pretty satisfied with it until the next morning when it would t start on a hill still.... So I called and made an appointment for them to look at it a second time I was informed the my fuel filter on the dash said 0% life but I changed it about 3-5 weeks ago but when my truck had the lack of fuel pressure it shot it down to 0... I gave them the okay to change the filter anyway. I was sent a video saying they couldnt find anything so they changed the filter and parked it on a hill for 2 hours and it fired right up but now I have a check engine light on for glow plug number 6 I told them not to change it that I would do it on my own. I picked up my truck and was kinda worried that the fuel filter was not the problem. The next morning after I got it back went out to start my truck and it STILL didnt start on a hill! Not only that now its having a hard time starting on flat surfaces like its starving for fuel... I changed out my glow plug to see if that would fix it but still not working. I am pretty unsatisfied with the quality of service I received for paying 1100$...I will be looking for a different shop to take it to from now on.
I have recently had to lower my expectations of dealerships lately to the point where if I got my vehicle back and it wasnt dirty or damaged then it was a win. With Ken Garff it was a refreshing experience to actually have good communication, efficient service. My truck was actually repaired and returned to me undamaged and clean. All promises and estimates were accurate. Hopefully, I have finally found a dealership that still cares about their customers.
Sent my truck in knowing the low coolant alert was on. They never checked it and I got it back with the alert still there. They also logged my mileage 12000 miles off and gave me a window sticker 2000 miles behind my current mileage. My guess is they never did the oil change and charged me for it. Very disappointed.

Crystal Allen was amazing yesterday when I came in to get my car looked at. She listened and was sympathetic about the issues and problems I have gone thru with the service guy named bill at the Ken garff Nissan dealer where I bought my car 8 months ago and bought an extended warranty and nothing that is wrong with my car is covered by the warranty. So I fill I was ripped off and treated horrible over there at the Nissan dealer. So my next vehicle I will definitely buy from ken garff gmc due to the way crystal was with me. She is amazing and deserves an award, employee of the year and a raise. Please do something for her. She deserves it!
Dawson greeted my father and I at the door and talked with us for a while about what we were looking for and ask how he could better help us find the car we wanted. We mentioned we were looking for something that could get me around through all seasons without any problem. He asked us if we had tested the Encore GX and promptly got us the keys as soon as we said we hadn’t. If he hadn’t reached out at first and suggested the test drive, I wouldn’t have switch in my old car. Great service. Highly recommend.

The vehicle was taken in on a Monday, they didnt have any of the parts available, so even the inside light bulb wasnt available. They were suppose to call about the parts, but didnt, had to go in for them to tell that they couldnt fix door seal, and that the inside bulb had to come from SLC. So apparently they dont know how to use a phone. So they fixed Nothing and still charged over $40. Also it took over 40 minutes just to find the work order on the vehicle. And you dont even greet your people with a smile. So you failed in everything, and we will Never use your services again and tell everyone how badly your services are, and post it on line, and send it forward to your head office. You couldnt even bring the vehicle back up front, and so we had to go find it in the back. Your management needs to do much better for its service department.
Im highly disappointed with the service I received yesterday. I brought the vehicle in for service, just an oil change and tire rotation. They explained that the car had a recall. They had the car all day. Once I got it home the check engine light was on. I took the vehicle back at 8 this morning only to be told they couldnt do anything about it until Monday morning. I had plans to leave town this weekend, needless to say, I certainly didnt feel comfortable leaving without know why this light was on. This car has only 4700 miles on it. Ill never buy another vehicle from this place again.

Warranty recall work, KG only had one time available over the next 3 weeks. I took it. KG offered a Lyft ride to work after my truck drop off, that was very helpful! At 420pm I called to see if my truck was ready or if KG needed it overnight. No one knew! After a 10 minute wait on the phone, they found it. My truck had been finished before lunch...... they have however ask me 3 times in 2 days to write a review

All financing and service options were explained and costs clarified.The dealership pays incredible attention to detail, and he even gave our son a handmade custom shift knob he could install.We got an amazing 2019 WRX for a good price and handled a trade in, payoff of the old car, financing for the new car, service options, and paperwork in less than 3 hours. I took in my car for the Advantage Care service. They changed the oil and rotated the tires very quickly. I was impressed, especially since this was sfirst experience with their service department.
My truck is currently sitting in a Murdock shop in Logan because your tech didnt put my truck back together right after repairing a transmission cooling line. Entire front head light doesnt engage, DEF is leaking and getting a warning of Reduced Engine Function. None of these things were happening before Tuesday, 7/20/21, when I got my truck back from Ken Garff.
They diagnosed the problems quickly and got the repairs done the same day. The service adviser, Crystal, was very helpful. They had a shuttle to take me home, and when it was after hours for the shuttle, they got a Lyft to bring be back so I could pick up my car. The drivers were both friendly. I highly recommend this place!
The dealership was very unprofessional, didnt go out of the way for the customer. Told us theirs nothing they can do. The amount of time they had the vehicle was unacceptable. Mechanical skills very low. From manager to front desk were rude, even with all my patience. Very unhappy with the service of GM. Didnt do any of my requests like I asked, and still left with a problem vehicle and more issues. Expected us to take vehicle dirty, pitted window and out of fuel. No going above or beyond for the customer.

I love my truck.I do not love the service I get at their service department. Every time I take my truck in for service I ask for rock chip repair - every time they forget to do it.They always offer to have me come back on the next business day. Do they not realize I have a job? My time is valuable - I dont have time to go a second day without my vehicle.The last service I had took an entire day - for an oil change. They forgot the rock chip repair, they forgot to wash it.Please do something to make your service department more user friendly.I want to buy more vehicles here, but only if I see improvement in the service department.
Amazing!!! Best GMC I have been toTook our 2020 Sierra 1500 (elevation) to a different GMC first then this one In Riverdale. They had the vehicle for 3 days and were unable to diagnose the back up camera. Their customer service was lethargic and seemed unmotivated to be there.1st day they called and told me it’ll be the next day.2nd. Didn’t hear a single word from them, not even an email, I called multiple times with no answer, ended up going to the dealership to see what was going on and they said “I’ll have the mechanic call you tomorrow”3rd day. Said they are still working on it and should have it done today, only to get a phone call saying they don’t know what’s wrong with it. Told them I’ll come grab it tomorrow morning.4th day, picked up my truck and cut ties with that dealership very quickly.Called this GMC in Riverdale and there was a clear difference in how they do business.1. Very energetic and a joy to talk with2. Were able to diagnose my truck as well other services needed in one day. They were clear with communication and pick up times3. Overall experience was over the top. I couldn’t have asked for a better visit to a dealership, they are kind, caring, and really do want the best for their customers, like myself.10/10 recommend these guys for Anything GMC related, they really have their stuff together.

The techs have performed maintenance on my car in a very professional manner. They have always listened to me about my concerns and what is going on with my car. Ron Malan usually does the maintenance only cars. He is very courteous kind and listens. He explains the problem in a way that I understand. He helps me to make a good decision about what needs to be done to fix the issue. He is very knowledgeable and well trained in his work.
I generally have a good experience with service here. However, I have had several instances of poor communication (usually not hearing back promptly about what is happening with my car). The 3-star rating is based primarily on my last visit, which was for an alignment. My car was pulling noticeably to the right. After the work was done, it was still drifting. They redid it (at no charge) and it seems even worse. I was told there are some things that cant be adjusted, but my suspicion is more that the job was rushed. I will be taking it elsewhere for a second opinion.
.***UPDATE***Very disappointing experience with Ken Garff Of Riverdale last week. Another routine maintenance that took more than 3 hours..and on top of that, service was given that was not requested by me. Then of course expected by me to pay for it. They gave me 10% off and expected me to be happy... unless this is made right, I will not be returning Crystal and Brandon..

We were far from home and noticed our GMC was due for an oil change. After a quick Google search we located Ken Garff, so we went there without an appointment in hopes they could help us. Zach helped us out and was able to take care of our car in a very reasonable time. Very friendly and professional staff. Also, they kept us updated with text messages, so we were able to grab some food nearby. We were pleasantly surprised to find our vehicle freshly washed upon return. Definitely glad we stopped by!

My whole experience at Ken Garff was excellent but Tenille was extremely helpful and made sure I got what I was looking for. She wasn’t pushy but was determined to help me in anyway she possibly could. She took her time and made sure that I was taken care of. She knew that my car I ended up trading in was very special to me and had sentimental value. She handle the situation with care and consideration and I couldn’t have asked for a better salesperson. The main reason I hadn’t purchased a new car was because I didn’t want to deal with the salesperson but she made the experience pleasant!

I typically get my car detailed every time I get an oil change. The dealership (Ken Garf Nissan) switched their detailing shop to the GMC dealership so it was a few months. However the price changed quite significantly when they did this. Nissan did the whole car inside and out for $115. The GMC dealership wanted $200.My car always looked fantastic after detailing from Nissan. The car looked fine after GMC but they said for the 115 price theyd only do the interior. They did forget the trunk though. They also moved my interior lights I installed. I wish they would have put them back. All in all though the detailing was good and I would go back. I just want them to be a bit more fair in price. My car wasnt that dirty to begin with.
We had some real hesitations about going to this dealership, not because of the reputation but because we have been burned so badly by their competition (another Buick GMC dealership in the area… There’s only one other in the local vicinity, so you figure it out).At the previous dealership, we informed the salesman that we had already been pre- approved for a car loan for a brand new car and gave them the price range which we felt we could afford for a new car. After several rounds between the salesman and the sales manager and the manager of the dealership, I could not understand why they didn’t understand or refused to listen to what we told them about what we wanted to pay for the car.Before we knew it, our credit report had been pulled seven individual times (these are HARD inquiries against my credit report—when you are trying to rebuild credit, this is NOT a good thing!!!) they presented my credit package to everyone other than the company that I had already received pre-approval for the car loan. Nevertheless, we gave them an ultimatum and left that dealership without a car.Fast forward to our Experience at Ken Garff Buick GMC of Riverdale. Again, as at the previous dealership, we explained to them that we had been pre-approved for our car loan and knew the amount that we could afford to pay for a car. They accepted our pre-approval paperwork without any questions, answered a few questions about some auxiliary purchases for the vehicle that we might be interested in, including an undercoat protection plan, etc.Our salesman was VERY friendly and NOT obnoxious like my previous dealership was. The entire experience took less than two hours from the moment we walked in the door until we were handed the keys to our brand new Buick.Thank you can Ken Garff Buick GMC of Riverdale For making the experience a little less horrific than getting a root canal. That’s not a dig on their reputation… It’s simply how we feel about going to car dealers in the first place. Ken Garff didn’t make us feel that way.

Every time Ive had my truck serviced here I have had a bad experience. I booked my appointment online and had a quote and when I got there they told me that the online appointment isnt accurate and that it would be double the price I was quoted online. They did a simple oil change and didnt check my fuel filter or even inform me it had 1% left, they didnt even refill my wiper fluid. Poor service
Jon was the friendliest and most helpful salesman we’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. He answered all of our questions and made buying our first car a breeze. We definitely did not feel pressured like other dealerships we have been to and felt very comfortable with him. Taylor the sales manager was also amazing, very much willing to work with our budget and was very transparent about the whole process. Very clean waiting area, with complimentary soda and coffee machine, tv and magazines for reading while i waited for my service to be done. All the staff was very informative and helpful with my questions.
Disappointed in the service. I waited from 1030 to well after five for my vehicles repair. I was told 2 hours and wasnt given any updates. I came to them asking why it was taking so long. Finally finished, I needed to drive it for several miles and come back for emissions testing. I was told that I wouldnt need an appointment for a quick emissions test. I came back the next day and it happened to be a Saturday and I was told that the wait would be a while because there were only 2 technicians working. What is upsetting to me is that I wasnt informed that the repairs were taking much longer than initially expected. Second, if I need an emissions test, then schedule me for an appointment so I wont have to wait unnecessarily long. Kinda unhappy.

This was the first time I have used Ken Garff Buick GMC of Riverdale. To be honest my family is full of mechanics and I have heard horror stories about dealership maintenance departments.My GMC had a recall that seemed serious to the safety of my family so I reluctantly booked an appointment. While I was checking in I took an opportunity to go a little Karen (No offense real Karens but it is what it is at this point.)GMC has a series of fault tail lights where the LED fails and it is ridiculously expensive. It pisses you off so I complained about it. They said if one was malfunctioning they could see if the mothership would help out even though my miles were higher than required to have it fixed.They covered 90%. I am happy. I went in for a recall and left with the recall addressed, my oil changed, my tires rotated, a service plan for two more visits at a very competitive price and a brand new 700$ tail light for 30.00.Friendly, professional and I would recommend.My apologies to the Karens again. I done messed up A-aron.

Very frustrating experience in the service department. Dropped a Yukon off for a taillight recall at 9:00 am, called around 4:30 to see if it was finished. Spent another 40 min on hold being sent through the phone tree prob 7 times. Called 3 times with the same results. We were told it would be done that day. Wife called 2 hours later and was able to finally talk with someone at 6:30 ish. They indicated the taillights had Not been done but other various recalls had been completed. 🤯 The intermittent taillight was the reason for the appointment. I asked them to fix the lights again. Best oil change service Ive ever had! They picked up my car from my office, sent me a video of what they did to my truck and then brought my vehicle back to me. Normally I dread having my cars serviced because it takes so long. Ken Garff service department was awesome!

I live Idaho and purchased a used GMC because of a great price. The reason why I gave it 2 stars was because its been 6 weeks and I still dont have a title of the SUV. I keep calling and they even said they will send a extended temporary tag and still nothing. No extended tag or anything.. Way to drop the ball. I would not recommend going to this dealer if you are trying to buy a vehicle out right.
