Unparalleled service, product(s), and knowledge. Best bike shop in Northern Utah by far. During these uncertain times with the recent high demand of cycling product comes low stock, availability, and ETAs, etc. This however doesnt reflect The Bike Shoppes 45 years of conducting business, its just an unfortunate time with oversea hiatus of production (no matter the shop, availability is scarce), with the addition of individuals discovering a hobby that is fun and/or rewarding simultaneously. Shop with confidence and reassurance; The Bike Shoppe undoubtedly provides that. I havent had an experience at The Bike Shoppe in the last two years where I was paying more because inventory was low. Established in 1976, and nevertheless in business today, is a testament in itself. Cycling done right.

I had been looking at e-bikes and had questions. We went to the big sporting goods outlets several times and nobody was able to give any information. We went to several specialty bike shops and they sold one brand or level of bike and advised that we go elsewhere. Shields finally answered our questions but couldnt get the bikes. The Bike Shoppe had two of the bikes in shop. They did the assembly a complete refurbishment of my spouses bike. All with great service and kindness and amazing prices.

I was looking to get a mountain bike so I went into the Bike Shoppe where I purchased a bike years ago. I was met by Nate who was an old neighbor, and a good guy. I told him that we now have a home near the Weber river trailhead. He asked if I’d ever rode an E Bike. I had not, but he had one for me to try. I rode it around our old neighborhood and when I returned I told him I had to have one! Luckily for me they had a real nice one. Much more than I was prepared to spend, but after talking with my wife I bought it. Fast forward a couple weeks and my wife decided she also wanted one. Lucky for us they had the perfect bike for her. Nate and his incredible staff prepped her bike and we rode 29 miles that week along the Weber river trailer. Absolutely no regrets. Zach set up my new Trek Fuel EX 9.7 and took the time to do it right. He set it up specifically to my size/weight and also ensured it felt right before I left the store. He also helped me choose a few needed accessories and had the experience and first hand knowledge of the products helping me make the best choices.The main guy in charge that day (not sure if he was the owner or not) was working along with the staff by cleaning, helping customers and ensuring the staff were doing what needed to be done. I worked for the founder of this business in 1983 while I was in College. He has since passed it on to his son. Over the years I have continued to do business there as a customer even while I have lived out of the state of Utah. Their operational philosophy and level of service hasnt changed.This is a robust comprehensive bicycle store that can really do it all. They service and sell. They can service your bike even if you didnt buy it there. I highly recommend this business.

Push and shove to get helped. People come in after and get helped before me. Waited a long time to get help. Work was ok. Have had to take both bikes back for tire work. They did honor the gaurantee on the tires and worked on one tire to get it to hold air better.

A very well run business. There is a really good energy about this place! I stopped in today and picked up my Kuat NV 2.0. Every other bike store in Utah was sold out but The Bike Shoppe had enough on hand that I was able to get one. The owner helped me himself. He was very knowledgeable and personable. I liked that they didnt rush me out of their store, instead they took the time to answer any questions that I had. I will be back in the future.

I first met Matt when he was unloading their bike van and putting things away at the shop, which was actually closed at the time. He was kind enough to take some time and answer some questions for my friend and I. Then, when I was able to get lucky enough to find a bike, I called the Bike Shoppe up and scheduled a fitting. I got to speak to Matt again and he was awesome and scheduled me in a really reasonable time and was very polite and kind. When I went in for my fitting, Matt helped explain everything and took some extra time to help me understand the newer features of my bike. I also had the pleasure of dealing with some of the other guys at the Bike Shoppe and found each one of them to be fantastic!!! I plan on going to the Bike Shoppe for all of my needs! They have been just awesome! So much so, I went in a couple of days later and got a jersey and a pair of bib shorts with the Bike Shoppe logo to rep them as best I can. I hope I do em proud because theyre a great group of guys and in this time when small businesses need all the help they can get, I want to do my part to make sure they can stay in business!!

I had an emergency bike repair for someone else who had crashed his bike and damaged it quite extensively. He needed the bike for his work, so timing was important. Although the Bike Shoppe had a loaded service backlog they were still able to get the repair done in less time than expected. They were professional, friendly, and sympathetic to the situation. Shop mechanics are always good to get my bikes serviced as quickly as possible, either before or within the dates they promise me. Always open to sharing their trailside mechanic tricks to get me out of a pinch when needed. They have worked on our Scott, Trek, and BMC full suspension/hardtail bikes. Ethan is a great mechanic I have worked with many times at The Bike Shoppe if you are looking for a suggestion.

I have been going to the Bike Shoppe for close to 30 years. I have ventured off a few times in pursuit of a great sale or promise of better service, but I have always come back. Mat, the owner and Nate, who is over service staff can’t be beat. They are very knowledgeable about bikes, but they do what most others do no do, they take time to get know the rider to match them with a bike and/or components, which is amazing. heI haven’t been lured away in years and won’t be again! Prices are great, but the customer service can’t be beat, trust me.

Cannot speak highly enough about this company. Brought my bike in for a flat repair. I had an issue with the repair and wrote some feedback to the company. Manager Nate contacted me almost immediately to make it right. He ended up sending a tech, Brycen, out to my house to fix. He showed up on time, fixed my issue within minutes. Really appreciate the dedication. I will definitely be going back.

Getting into MTB was something Ive been wanting to do for a while, and working with Nate made the process of getting a bike as smooth as one could as for. With a basic understanding of the sport and the riding in the area, he helped me reason out why the bike I was looking at would be suitable for what I wanted out of it.He also helped me build a kit of essentials (trail repair items, gloves, etc.), without feeling like anything extra was really being pushed at me. The sales team does not work off of commission, and you could really get a sense of that when working with them.

I called The Bike Shoppe to confirm the Bontrager tires they had in stock were the new versions of the XR3 and XR4 Team Issue. They confirmed that they were and I ordered them online. They arrived incredibly fast and were exactly what I ordered. No sales tax or shipping costs and the tires were priced at MSRP so Bike Shoppe NOT gouging even though 29” tires, like seemingly everything else, are very hard to find right now. I prefer Bontrager Team Issue tires over Maxxis because for me they have been higher quality (zero tire wobble), last longer and most importantly have transition knobs for a more predictable and consistent traction. Also the Maxxis tires I was looking at were 1/3 more expensive before shipping and sales tax were added making the Bontrager a great value. The Bike Shoppe informed me they had a pretty good inventory of tires so I’d recommend acting now if you need 29” tires.

First year free tune up on our new bikes was quick and simple. I just dropped them off and picked up when ready. Thank you guys!

This is the best bike shop around! my dad and I have been going to these guys ever since I was a little kid, I got one of my first bikes from them. I moved to nsl so I dont live close to them anymore so I tried to take my bike to a different local bike shop and they didnt really fix what was wrong with it. So I had my dad take my bike to the bike shoppe for me and it is way worth it to go to these guys. The owner Matt personally fixed my bike for me (in the dark because they had no power and they where still there fixing peoples bikes) I highly recommend these guys to anybody regardless of how far the drive is because i know they will take great care of everyone!! Went in to look at a new bike, unsure of what model to buy, and Nate was great to work with. He took the time to get to know exactly what I wanted out of a bike and offered input on all model options based on my riding goals and level. I ended up buying the Domane SL7 and Nate handled the fitting. It was quick, easy, and I am more than happy with the full experience.
