Stopped by to grab some used snowboarding gear and got excellent service. Jake walked me through showed me numerous boards and boots and helped me find exactly what I need for the price I could afford. 100% recommend.

Love Level-9 sports!!! I go there for both winter and summer sports equipment for my family. The staff are always friendly and incredibly helpful. I have never had a bad experience. Also, we love seeing Gus the rescue dog... an amazing sweet addition to the team. I would definitely recommend this place! Keep up the great customer service!

Caleb was awesome! We came in looking for ski boots for my wife late in the season and he took the time to actually find out her skiing level, measured her feet and really took time to find good fits for her! Not just a fit for her foot, but for her skiing style and needs. We could tell he really knew his stuff, he was patient and friendly. We ended up getting the boots he recommended and my wife is amped to get out and try them!The store had a great selection, even this late in the season, and their prices were competitive and fair! I would definitely come here again.

We have had two great experiences shopping here this winter. Our daughter was properly fitted for a pair of ski boots that are exactly what she needed for her skiing ability. Then they adjusted her bindings on the spot to fit and we were able to ski a full day. This week we had great service when my son broke his old bindings and got a new set up. They even went out of their way to get the skis mounted and us on the mountain the next day. Great service, excellent advice and good products.

By far the worst experience I’ve had at a bike shop. I went in to get a few bearings pressed on my bike lower linkage. The bike techs were extremely sloppy and left scratches and burrs all over my aluminum linkage. I watched them as they clamped the link in a vice with no padding, and then yanked so hard on the bearings that the linkage was ripped out of the vice. The next day, I spoke to a manager and he agreed to order me a new linkage. Two weeks later I call back to see if the part has been ordered and no one knows what I am talking about. I understand that bike parts are on back order almost everywhere, but an attempt to order my part hasn’t even been made. I have been very disappointed by the quality of service and I will never be taking my bike back to L9 again.

What a joke! Advertisements are CLICKBAIT just to get you to come in. They routinely advertise bikes on KSL that haven’t been in stock in a long time. I’ll never support or recommend Level Nine Sports to anyone.

A great shop with very friendly service. My friend and I went here seeking advice for a foot in pain caused by a ski boot. The staff was very knowledgeable and helped us out despite being out of towners and not having purchased the ski boots at the shop. Marvin is also great with his dinosaur.

Went in a couple weeks ago to get skis waxed. Done pretty quick, nice selection of used equipment, mostly good stuff, didn’t see much cheap stuff. And got a pretty good deal on some nice leather good quality mittens. I’ll be back. Also the ski/equipment folks at the ski slope recommended this place.

The staff is amazing and went above and beyond to get my sons bike in good working order.

Don’t use for ski repair. It took well over a week to get my board back. Paid $80 for ptex and it peeled up right after the first run. You can do the job better yourself.

These guys have been awesome! They get my bike in and out quicker than any other shop, even when their schedule is packed. And their techs have taken time out of their days to advise me on upgrades. Can’t say enough good things about them.

I can’t say anything good about this store or it’s employees. I bought my daughter some snow pants and wasn’t sure if they would fit so I asked if they could be returned if not. The employee assured me I could and even signed my receipt for me to show to the next worker if they had a problem with it. Well, they didn’t fit and when I went to return it one person had no idea how to do return so called up another worker and she refused to give me a refund. She said she would give me half of my money back. I explained that the other employee told me I could return them and she said it wasn’t their policy to take returns so she wouldn’t, and she wouldn’t ask the other worker if he’d told me I could. For the sake of $15, they’ve lost a customer and I’ve pulled my consignment items from their store, which is wildly overpriced as it is for used items. I’ll never step foot in there again. I refuse to give my business and money to a company who is dishonest won’t stand behind what their employees say.

Super nice, gave me great tips about waxing and also gave me a free chunk of wax since they were out of stock.

Level 9 sports is not the place I recommend first. I brought my board in for a wax/sharpen, and they took my board and after a few days called me up. I drove 30 minutes to go pick up my board to see that it had not been waxed and they also put my bindings on wrong. It took me an hour to fix. Luckily, I met a great employee who surprised me with a gift card for the trouble. (he is the reason for the second star).

Boards waxed and ready for the season, staff was also really helpful and accommodating. They followed up with us multiple times to let us know how the process was going with our boards.

Wandered around looking for a base layer for a few minutes, eventually found one despite the lack of organization, then went and hunted for some gloves and had to deal with more terrible organization, hunting around on three walls for my size and not finding the right stuff. 15 minutes in nobody had acknowledged my presence. I took my base layer up to check out and stood around for a minute or two looking around and still nobody came. Left it on the counter and left. I dont see the point in supporting local retail if things are harder to find, I cant talk to an expert and I cant even pay for what I did find.

I’ve got a love-hate relationship with this shop.The good:The people here are typically quite friendly and willing to help. The overall vibe in the shop is great. Good location near the canyon.The bad:I’ve stood around waiting for help numerous times and have left without even having been acknowledged. I’m talking 5-10 minutes. Bike knowledge is limited at best. Very little in stock.Could be an amazing shop with a little effort.

The staff is always super helpful and willing to tell you about your best options for your style of skiing/snowboarding. Ive rented all of my snowboard gear from them several times without any issues. They sized everything for me and made sure everything fit correctly. Process is quick, professional, and easy! Always love a quick chat with their staff while theyre helping me out.

Wow what a selection new and used anything you want if they aint got it theyll order it.. they also do rentals for ski gear $25 you cant be that good job level 9. Look for the orange VWbus

Worst customer service ever! I made an appointment 1 week out to get my sons bike fixed. I told them before the appointment that the bike was not shifting and what type of bike it was. I dropped off the bike and 30 minutes later they called me and said they didn’t have the parts to fix the bike and to come get my bike. There was no attempt to find a part or another option. If it was not an easy fix they didn’t want anything to do with the bike. They told me I could find the part and they would put it on the bike. Isn’t that what bike repair shops do is find parts and repair bikes? I have no idea how this shop stays in business.

I first tried Alpine sports but they only sell ski equipment and I was looking for snowboard boots. Found this place by accident while on my way to crossroads skate shop (which has bad inventory and bad customer service). As soon as I walked in I was greeted and helped.Brittany was the BEST! She pulled every boot in my size she could find of the brands I wanted and made it happen. They were cool with my 3 year old running around while I tried to get the things I needed. Very casual yet professional place with decent inventory. Could use more boards and boots but its the best around I think.They wax and edge your board for $25. They have lots of new coats, snowpants, boards, skis, boots. They also buy used ski/snowboard equipment and sell used. Also I got a great deal on seasonal rentals on skis for my 3 year old this year rather than having to buy just so he can outgrow them by next season. This is really your all-shop-stop for winter sport needs. They are going to be my main boarding store over the years.

Great place to rent skis. We have a growing kid, so at the beginning of each season we rent here and never have to worry about standing in a long line at a rental place at the mountain. Plus it is MUCH cheaper than a daily rental.Staff is always friendly and they usually have their dogs hanging around the shop for pets.

Came in the Saturday to get my board tuned/waxed, told me it would be a 4 day turn around and Im better off bringing it in New Years Eve and theyd be open till 6:30P.M. I showed up at 5 to just drop off my board. And the worker literally shut and locked the door in my face. Im fuming. Taking my board to Alpine Sports. Better customer service, a quicker turn around and even over a Holiday!! Sure, its a few bucks more, but these guys were so unhelpful!

I gave it 2 stars, but was only there long enough to realize I would have to go to Alpine Sports to rent my skis instead.The last thing I want to do the morning of skiing is go rent ski equipment. (Yes, I should have called ahead, but...) I got to the ski rental at 5pm to rent for the next day and 2nd said that they do not rent for the following day until 7pm. This is supposedly because I might night ski and day ski all in 24 hours. I might currently be working on my New Years resolutions and at age 44 feeling better, but if they think I have that much stamina to ski 12+ hours in 23 hours, well...I had my nephew, who I picked up 20 minutes away, to get his rental as well. This meant that that I would have to waste 2 hours or take 45 minutes to go back home, wait 30 minutes, and drive back in 45 minutes. (Not to mention they want to do all this next day ski rentals between 7-8pm...what kind of a crowd is that like?)Well, we called Alpine. Guess what? They start next day rentals at 2pm and they were kind enough to say, Hey, if weather is bad and you cant get them back by 7pm on Saturday, just get them here first thing on Sunday and it will be okay.5 of 5 stars for Alpine Sports Ski Rental and they saved me 3+ hours

I love this place for both buying and selling outdoor gear! The bike shop is also a great place to get a little neighborhood help with bike maintenance. I definitely recommend if you want to up-cycle your used outdoor gear and get something new for yourself. Friendly, down to earth staff, too.

Love this place! Got an awesome mountain bike (Element) for an amazing price! Butch does the tune ups every season (worth the price) every employee is not in a hurry and ready to help and that makes a great experience... The bike boys will answer more questions than you could possibly ask! The other day I found out that width of the handle bars matter... (didnt even know that was a thing) this place is awesome and every employee is super knowledgeable. 5 stars to this location!

I have been looking at paddle board at several stores and have had questions being new to the sport. Trying to find the right board for my family. Final found someone that new something about it and was able to help me in finding the correct board for me. Not once pushing me to the more expensive products trying to get me to spend more than I needed to. If you are in the market and need some help go see Brian awesome helpful and friendly guy. Rental process was simple; however, the bikes we rented were simply handed to us without mind to the tire pressure or shock pressure. We ended up having to do a lot of adjusting out on the trails. Ive been to bike shops that will make sure everything is adjusted to your height/weight, but because this shop is a multi-sport location, you wont receive the individualized attention you might get at a local bike shop.

When most people have a positive experience they rarely take the time to post it, but if things go negative, people can’t stop with the complaints. I’ve shopped ski gear and also had bindings mounted, and skis tuned for years at Level 9 Ogden ( formerly Second Tracks). With good prices and sometimes GREAT deals, I’ve found everyone in the shop to be friendly and helpful. Great customer service, and really good work from the Techs; Morgan, Austin, Josh. I bought some Skins for my skis that appear to have some issues. Jamie immediately offered to exchange them for another product, regardless of any price difference (or refund my money). To all you whiners out there talking smack about Level 9, how about YOU get a job trying to please the general public 24/7 and see how you do!Level 9 Ogden is my go to ski shop!

Terrible customer service I think her name was Brittany she was very rude and unhelpful. I understand you have your little policies there are better ways to tell people then being totally disrespectful and rude. I also work in customer service and have never treated a customer that way. I was cool with her and was nice I did get rude towards the end I do not take that treatment. Brittany needs to learn that customers are the priority and most the time they are already frustrated they don’t need the representative to make it worse. So a little tip to Brittany maybe treat customers the way you would want to be treated if you had the same frustrating situation.

Great place. All about outdoor sports! I got a hard tail for the weekend at a great rate. Their staff was really knowledgeable and set me up with a great bike and made sure it am me were good to go.

They are always super helpful. Our son gets fitted and we are told to simply come back if good boots dont fit anymore. Very easy and hassle free!

This is a great store in a great location. A consignment shop for outdoor sporting gear.We have bought shoes, river tubes, shorts, and even hats and gloves.The staff are active in the sports they service, and always friendly without being overbearing.I do wish they could keep their off season gear year round. We like buying early.

I’ve been in here twice, today I was actually planning to buy something. However, both times I’ve been, not a single employee once acknowledged my presence or asked if I needed help with anything, which I did. The store wasn’t busy either time. After a few minutes of wandering around and patiently waiting, I finally got frustrated and left. I hope they can work on their customer service skills, I’ll shop elsewhere despite this being very close to my house.

I had great help from the staff with finding the proper sized boots and their technicians seem to have a handle on working with all kinds of gear, but they never answer their phone and they seem very understaffed for this time of year. Id rate 3.5 stars if I could!

They were great to me. I walked in having only bought rentals, not knowing what to buy for myself. They assisted me on skis, boots, and poles, and helped adjust them in the store, all on a very busy day.

DO NOT CONSIGN HERE! My husband and I lost easily over $200 worth of climbing gear when 2nd Tracks gave it all away for FREE. Apparently this is how they dispose of the previous seasons gear without any notification to the seller! They have lost my business for life and I will make sure to tell all my friends not to shop here as well! EXTREMELY DISPLEASED!

Took my skis in for a service and was treated horribly! When I tried to explain myself I was met with stubbornness and idiocy. Level Nine sports has horrible customer service and is unwilling to listen or be accommodating at all! If you are reading this Level nine sports I hate you!

First interaction with this business and if i could rate below 1 star I would but it is not possible... On the 13th of Dec i purchased a nice Oakley ski coat for my husband for xmas was worried about the fit in the shoulders so I had him try it on that evening to see if it would fit sadly it was to tight in the shoulders as expected which was a bummer as it was a really nice coat in look quality and price but sadly had to return it the next day on the 14th. This is when the problems started. The return got processed and i was told up to 5 business days for funds to return to my checking account which is an old typical standard so I awaited the return of my funds patiently even all the way until after Xmas but alas no refund of my funds so I called in on the 27th to inquire as to the issue with receipt and transaction number in hand all the info i had available to me. Was told there was no manager on duty and that I would get a call back that afternoon and that call never came so finally today the 31st i decided it was time to find out where my money was in person. Talked to a manager and after she looked at the receipt was told the return was not processed properly on there end I asked to receive cash instead as it had already been over 2 weeks and a full 11 business days since the return was suppose to be processed and got told that was not possible it would have to go through the card so here I sit to wait another 5 business days on a holiday week no less for the return of my 180$ hoping this time it goes through, to say the least this has soured any type of relationship with this business I could have had at this point I will now go nearly a full month through the xmas season no less missing enough money to make my truck payment for the month. If i dare chance this establishment again and that will be a pretty hard thought on IF! I will only deal with them in cold hard cash as it seems this would be the only way to avoid further accounting issues on there behalf.

Hands down the BEST customer service I have ever experienced. Just bought a new Yakima Rack for my newer car and didnt understand how to install the newer version. I called down and they told me to bring it on down and would help me install it. Long story short, Jaimie and Race took the time to mount my rack despite a few hiccups we experienced and despite it taking longer than their store hours and not once made me feel like I was a burden on them. Because of these two great employees, I will use them to source all my outdoor needs. What a great company!

I dealt with their version of Jerry of the day at the store today while picking up a check.After paying the consignment fee I was charged an extra $1 for a processing fee. Ive sold many other items there but this was the first time for this phantom fee. This fee should be charged within the consignment fee. The dollar wont set me back. It was the way the employee handled it. He was rude when he didnt have to be. Proceed with caution to this store and if you dont expect too much you wont be let down.

Vans snowboard boots $125 the same one online is $84. 2nd Tracks use to have great prices store wide, especially during the ski swap. This could have something to do with the merging of Level 9.

2nd Tracks offers bike rentals at the summit of Powder Mountain. Shawn did an awesome job setting us up for a great ride! Shawn was knowledgeable, friendly and so helpful when he picked us up after we completed the trail. Another check off our bucket list. Thanks so much Shawn and 2nd Tracks!

Over the last several years I have purchased all of my ski equipment from these guys. Knowledgeable folks, great prices and You can rent Ski equipment for the entire season if you wish. This is a fantastic option for the kids and grandkids who are still growing so fast you would have to purchase equipment annually for them to keep up with their growth spurt’s. By the way they make it very clear when you put your equipment up for consignment sales that if it has not sold by the end of the season you need to pick it up. Anytime I have visitors from out of state coming in town to ski with me, this is the shop where I recommend they rent their equipment! Also great prices and selections on ski accessories like gloves goggles helmet and so on. All my equipment was purchased at the Ogden store. I go nowhere else.

Love this place! We rented a couple paddle boards for a day and the price was great, everyone was super nice and helpful, they helped us load the paddle boards on our car and gave us helpful advice, overall it was great customer service!

I bought my bike from here, and I have also purchased gear. This is the only shop I go to for tune ups or if I have questions or general requests. They have amazing customer service, and AMAZING bike mechanics. Butch in particular is outstanding! He always goes above and beyond, he even though he was super busy took the bike he was working on off to quickly help me with my bike when it was having little issues. He has also done work on my bike that I do not believe is apart of their tune up packages or things that they generally do. He didnt even charge me to do this work and I bet it wasnt an easy thing to do and very time consuming. Now that some of it is damaged he even offered to completely redo the clear bra wrap on my tubes free of charge. Not to exclude any of the other staff, but they are always super helpful and provide great customer service!

Extremely rude customer service from Jamie!Since Millcreek location doesnt have kayak rental. I came into the Ogden location at 2 pm on Wednesday to rent out two kayaks for 4th of July (Thursday). Because I live in Salt Lake City and had to leave early the next day, I asked if I could pick up the kayaks right at that time but they said I can pick both of them up after 7 pm that day and still count as one-day rental (that were nice of them to let me do that for sure). I also asked the two men who were helping me that in case I couldnt bring the kayaks back before 7 pm on July 4th, can I bring them back early Friday morning and they said as long as I bring them back right when they open on Friday that would be fine and no late fee will be charged.8:30 pm on July 4th - Someone name Jamie called and said that the store had to remain open an hour after the store was closed for me to bring back the kayaks and she said that I couldnt just bring back the kayaks whenever I want. I tried to explain, but she been very unprofessional to excuse me for not telling the truth and hung up on me. 10 mins later, someone else called and said I could return the kayaks back tomorrow (I assumed that was the guy who I spoke with when I checked out the kayaks). At this point I thought they already communicated with each other, that why the guy called me.I had my brother brought all items back right when they opened and stay on the phone with him to make sure everything was OK. Jamie was again said on the phone that I had two options, either pay the late fee or have to be on the DO NOT RENT list and hung up on me again.I did work in customer service for years and understand sometimes miss communication will occur, but there are better ways to handle the situation instead of being super rude to your customers. I dont mind being put on the do not rent list because at least I dont have to deal with this type of customer service again.

These guys seem like they genuinely want to help, but on their website and in front of the store they have giant signs advertising Season Rentals which they no longer offer this season. Very annoyingly, they were too busy to pick up the phone when I tried to verify availablity before driving up there.

My wife and I rented paddle boards for a day and took them to Causey. We had so much fun we bought two paddle boards the next day from 2nd Tracks. Hanna was so awesome to work with. She explained all of our options for rentals and purchasing. I highly recommend using 2nd tracks for any paddle board needs. We are so glad Hanna was there. Thanks again!!

I took my mountain bike to get serviced and have the rear shock serviced. They did not service my rear shock, and after the service of the bike my derailer now rubs on my chain. I picked my bike up early afternoon and I took it back that night only to have one of the mechnics recommend another shop in Ogden.They do have friendly employees.

Last week, while visiting my in-laws in Ogden, I rented a bike for an easy ride around the river parkway. However, a freak bike accident left me grounded, and when my MIL called, the store sent two employees to meet us-- one for the bike and one for the riders. Fortunately, an xray showed my recent knee replacement to be fine (yep, I landed square on my new knee). I cant say how appreciative we are of the help offered by 2nd Tracks and your staff.
