Great service in person and over the phone. The office runs like clockwork and I never have to wait for anything. If I need a form or send a message I get what I need and hear back from people quickly. I feel educated about my eyes at each appointment I go to. I would recommend this place to anyone!

I was sent there by the SSA to get proof that I am legally blind. They were fantastic. Especially Nat. She was the best nurse/tech of any kind that I have ever been examined by. She was very friendly. But also professional. She did a great job of making me feel comfortable and at ease during my exam. I can’t stress enough now great she was. She guided me perfectly with how to use the machines Even my husband who was with me said wow she is great! So thank you to everyone at Vision Source!’

Dr. Brownlee did an Execellent job taking care of both of my eyes. He is very caring in what he does for his Patients. His whole Staff was very helpful. I loved the energy and how caring his staff is that assist him in the surgery room, they were very energetic and make you feel comfortable to ease your mind from being nervous while in surgery. I admire Dr . Brownlee and all his Staff for all their help and their kindness.

Lee in Optical was very rude and unprofessional. I took my sons glasses in since they had warranty and they had broke. Waited in the lobby for her to call us back when she approached us for the first time her response is YES? Lee took the glasses back and fixed them and brought them back and said here you go there was nothing wrong with them very rudely! Ok? Im guessing she thought we just had the glasses taped for no apparent reason. Do you think I just drove 30 minutes just so you can say there was nothing wrong? Not sure what point she was trying to prove. I them called to complain on her and they transfer the call to her directly. She then goes on to say well Im sorry not sure what else you want me to say. We have been going to Dr. Jackson for years now and will not return to a place that has poor and rude customer service.

I was extremely impressed with the courtesy and professionalism of the Doctor and staff. I was in and out within 45 minutes. The Doctor took the time to explain the issues with my eyes and answered all my questions.

Took my 5 year old to have her first eye exam done and they were amazing with her. The staff and Dr. knew how to treat her making her feel comfortable, cause she was scared at first. Loved the environment it was peaceful, clean, and friendly.

I would like to give 5 stars to Destiny Rivas. I found these cute frames while visiting Texas, but was not able to find them anywhere once I returned home. I search online and called many different vision centers but to no avail. I contacted Vision Source Odessa and spoke with Destiny. She was able to assist immediately. Destiny took my order and was able to get the frames in her office within 1 week. She was very helpful and courteous on the phone. Thank you Destiny and Team for making this happen.

Went in for a contact lens exam. Multi-focal contacts were suggested to eliminate the need for readers. Right eye has an astigmatism. Took forever (weeks) to get sample set of contacts. Found them very uncomfortable and did not have good distant vision.Went back in and got a second examination and told the Dr I did not have good distant vision and I felt like the discomfort was coming from constantly having to squint to see. I told him that I did not mind readers and wanted good distant vision. He blamed my diabetes on the poor incorrect prescription and scolded me for not having my A1C with me.He was determined to get me in those multi-focal contacts and adjusted the prescription and reordered samples. Again taking way longer then expected. They seemed better so I ordered a box of each eye. Hated them!Decided that I just might not be able to wear contacts any more because of the astigmatism. Went back to my glasses from two years before ... and wore them for months. Had several circumstances (summer sweating) that really made me want contacts again.Decided to go to a Dr that I loved but stopped using when he moved to Midland. He examined my eyes, said my astigmatism was very minor, also said the multi-focal contact never work, suggested regular contacts and gave me samples- that day. I LOVE THEM!So sorry I wasted months and hundreds of dollars. (It was also interesting that my cost of my exam at Vision Source WITH insurance was almost exactly the same as the other location that does not take insurance AND i was able to get my contacts online saving hundreds.)

Words are what these guys deserve. Excellent staff and caring eye doctor. Dr Hembree is a specialist,especially in the glaucoma field. He explains with deep care and sympathy. I would highly recommend it. Thank u guys.

Dr is thorough. Staff and manager are unfriendly holding my childs glass prescription hostage even though account FULLY PAID > $320 first visit. Wait time was 1 hour even we arrived, signed in timely. Office staff do not want to give glass prescription first visit. Frame selection is limited. They also want to charge her additionally for trying out contact lenses next visit, something that I found out later. I have to call couple time before able to get her glass prescription and return to pick it up. Unprofessional. The cost above 320$ is more expensive than other place considering the hassles customer has to put up with. Be prepared to ask them upfront for services and fees. I would not come here again for unpleasant, unprofessional customer service.

Not recommended the girl that sold me the glasses said dont get anti glare coating because it scratches easily so now have these close to $700 glasses I cant use because of the glare they said I would need to buy another $400 set of lenses to correct the problem !!! Dont go here !

Dr. Jackman is very nice and helpful. However the staff, not speaking for all of them but several, could be nicer. They ordered me the wrong contacts, no apology. I got transitions on my daughters glasses, didn’t have it so they gave me a refund, but again no apology. Do businesses just not apologize anymore? That just annoys me. Agree with the reviewer that said, “nothing is their fault”.

I would give 0 stars if I could. My husband went in for a contact exam and was charged for things he was not made aware of until checking out. Went back a week later to order the contacts he tried for a week made him set an appointment for a follow up he was billed again for the follow up visit that was basically a whole exam. He was not aware that he would be billed again. They will bill you for stuff and not tell you!!!!!!! Make sure you ask ahead of time because youll be stuck paying over $300 in stuff insurance does not cover. Will never go back to this place again.

Everything was explained really clear with reason. All the exams that were performed, or given detailed descriptions. No wait time. Selection was pretty good. I will definitely make this my primary office to visit.

Very pleased with my exam. Staff was friendly and courteous and Dr. Jackman clearly explained what he looked for in my diabetic eye exam. He reviewed what I was doing for my eye care (basically, wrap-around shades w/ UV blocking) and he emphasized the importance of the UV protection, even on cloudy days.

Went in for some safety glasses, was rushed through the process because of their covid rules . Glasses were way to big, and they said sorry, cant do anything about that, and she was not nice about it. Nothing is their fault is the vibe I got from them. Find a better place, these people are rude and have terrible customer service.

The visit was good, I wish there was a little more explanation of why we were sitting in a hallway for a bit instead of being left in the lobby. The tech was nice to my children and didn’t seem annoyed which is always a positive thing when taking your children for their appointments. Dr Jackman was friendly and professional as well, he didn’t seem bothered by my 4year old and his questions. As a parent you want to find a Dr who has patience for your children and not rush through the exam. Ashley was great at helping us choose glasses as well and explaining my insurance benefits. Overall we received great care and attention at this office I would recommend them to everyone.

Dr Hembry is very thorough and takes time to explain why tests are recommended and the results. The front desk is efficient and lets you know what the expected insurance coverage is. Wait time is minimal. The young lady helping choose glasses frames is not very personable but is efficient and helpful. I had no problem with that as all personalities are different and I respect hers. Great eye care is what’s important and they have it.

The Doctor was very thorough and very personable! It has to be one of the best eye exams I have ever had. He explained everything to me in detail.Although, if you don’t have insurance be prepared to spend a grip.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Dr Hembree is wonderful. He explained everything so I could understand. Staff helped me pick out some very attractive frames giving me different alternatives to choose from. No waiting time. Was back to work quickly.

My appointment was at 8:30 and I was out the office by 9:15. Excellent customer service, very patient with my 4 year old and the Dr was very nice. The whole staff was very nice the ladies were so attentive the whole time! Would definitely recommend them!

I became a new patient after another optometrist called me the day of my appointment to inform me that they did not accept my insurance. I called Vision source the same day, they were very friendly and had an immediate appointment available. The staff is the friendliest staff I’ve ever interacted with at any healthcare office. I had a very pleasant experience and will highly recommend them to anyone.

Everyone is friendly and helpful. Dr. Hembree is very thorough in his exam. Frames are a little expensive but you can always take your prescription somewhere else.

Most thorough eye exam I’ve ever had. I didn’t feel rushed at all.

My husband was in a horrible wreck. He lost his glasses in the wreck, and we are from out of town. They still helped us, and did so quickly so my husband didn’t have to wait 10 business days to see. The staff went above and beyond for strangers, I’m so very thankful for all of them.

The only thing I didnt like is they wanted me to pay the whole amount in front if I wanted to order a new prescription glasses, plus I have to wait 2 weeks if I wanted to order a new prescription glasses, and that is Ridiculous. Every eye Clinic In west Texas take a deposit when ordering a new prescription glasses and pay the rest when collecting the prescription glasses.

Dr Jackman is great! My right eye was appearing larger than my left so I went to see him and he was very thorrow and was determined to help me find out a solution to why my eye was doing this. After his examine he said the health of my eye was fine and I was either having a neurological or thyroid issue. He referred me to a neurologist and after several more test I found out I have graves disease and now have medication thats helping me we so many other problems I was having too. I thank God I went to see him.Thank you Dr Jackman also!

Will not be coming back. The chubby receptionist was rude and the young eye doctor lacked confidence and possibly self esteem. He was very fake and phoney. Other than the co-pay, they wont be getting a dime from me!
