Drove to this location in need of a phone asap, but where out of stock and felt like my business wasnt that important to this staff. I should probably look into changing carriers, Ive only been with Verizon since 2014 and feel emotional destress that I left the store with no positive solutions. But Im glad my monthly automatic payment draft never fails my end. I wish it was the same from Verizon to me.
Jose, was great. I was frustrated when I came in no fault to him or Verizon. But he helped me find what I needed and got me out the door. He stated late to ensure all my needs were met.

Most exhausting place ever. They absolutely will not answer the phone, always seems like employees are talking more to each other than customers (use a phone and talk outside of work like youre supposed to). Unless you are wanting a kiosk to pay your bill, stay out of this place.

I have tried to come to this store multiple times over the past month trying to get a new phone and a few other things and they are always closed with no hours posted and according to Google its only open 1 day a week. How is this supposed to be helpful to customers?

This review is for Verizon off of Billy Hext in OdessaRaul was helpful from day one, he helped me choose the phone that was perfect for my needs. When the phone came in he and his co worker helped me set it up and even helped me with some problems I was having with other apps and uploading photos.

Very very disappointed!!! Ive been with Verizon for ever and now I am a Over the Road truck driver with my husband. I have my uncle that came to live with us and I ordered a phone because I Really Really really need to be able to contact him through out the day. Well long story short the phone was apparently ready for pick up and so upon picking it up a lady comes out asks what my son needs he let her know his name stated he needed to pick up a phone ready to go and she said no there is no name associated with any pick ups...!! Didnt even bother to ask for order number or NOTHING!! SHE stated it was probably the wrong store and said the other stores will close soon and left(as if she was in a hurry and my sons time was unneeded) everything was paid in advance all she had to do was get the order number ask other questions or even look at the inventory!!! But nope not happy one bit. As much as we pay for the phones and services she could of at least tried to help. On the email it shows the store was correct, the phone was ready, and its sad that some people forgot there customer service!!! Very very disappointed.

Jocelyn put aside a phone I was thinking about getting, came back and went with another phone. Gave me all the details I needed for my purchase, any discounts I had, and gave me the installment plan I wanted. I chose that location because of the great customer satisfaction they have.
My husband ended up ordering the wrong color phone for me, so I went to a Midland location to see about switching it out for the color I originally wanted. The Midland associate I was assigned had pretty subpar customer service, but did inform me they didnt have the one I wanted in stock and said this Odessa location had 3 in stock. When I arrived at this location, I was greeted by Perla and she immediately took me over to a station to help me with my problem. You could tell she was very knowledgeable and she was friendly, personable, and attentive the entire time. Its rare to receive this quality of customer service for Midland/Odessa area, its definitely appreciated when you do.
Staff was rude and unhelpful, as a disabled Army veteran, I was treated horrendously, I showed my VA disability rating letter, my drivers license from SC with my veterans status, and was refused service without a mask. Thank God for Russell cellular in Midland. They were kind, helpful and understanding. If you have ptsd, anxiety, or claustrophobia you should try another store.
Soli is my favorite sales associate she always helps me out and keeps me happy. Everyone at this store is friendly and courteous.

Had an appointment, we got there and rep told us that they can only allow one person in and for us to wait in our car and he would come get us, after 30 minutes he never came and was even letting other people in. We went inside to see what the wait was and then he proceeded to lie and said that he never said he would come get us, then he was very rude and never helped us with our problem and acted like he didnt want to be there. Had to leave with no help and no information!

The first person to help me showed me the iPhones and when I looked at the phones to see the color and turned back around to ask a question he was on his phone, like I was not there. I let him know that I am here for someone to help me if you want to be on your phone then you need to get someone else to help me. He said no I will help you then I said well I will need all of your attention and he said no I better get someone else to help you. The only reason for the three stars is because of the next person who helped me he answered my questions and helped me make a good decision on the right phone. The man greeting people at the door was extremely rude to an elderly man and offered him absolutely no assistance told him to call the 1800 number. The man obviously didn’t know how to do it. Every time I go to this location the staff is extremely rude customer service is obviously not a priority to them.

It was a horrible experience. I set an online appointment for 2pm today. Keep in mind online all it says is to wear a mask.. When I arrived I was seen by a woman behind the class door who unlocked the door and was approached asking what I need. I said I had appointment for new phones then I was told my children could not come in and when I asked if my husband would be able too I was told yes. So I had to wait for someone to come sit with my child. Once I got someone to this location I walked up with my mask on and hey again approached by a man who was getting loud with me and giving me attitude. I had to tell him 3 times what I was here for. Once I got in I was told they didnt have my phone I wanted, but they would double check... As I am waiting my husband get the the glass door which they keep looking, and yet again approached by the same man with the attitude. He would not let my husband in and kept pushing my husband saying he was not allowed in. Then he ending up getting in my husband face and more physical pushing. He then proceeded to say we had to leave and not come back. The worst experience I have seen, if I didnt live in Odessa sI wouldtill be with AT&T. Never ever go to this store... The mall next door helped us and allowed my family in the store. I hope Luis gets fired but Verizon will not let me make a complaint via phone. Negative a million stars.. his name is Luis Carrillo

Update: 6/20/2020: only on person allowed, you need a mask. They are not allowing couples or families to walk in together. Only one person at a time even if you are husband and wife and are on the same account.Reply to Verizon: I completely understand your guidelines but we all had masks and we are a family on the same account. Extremely busy, but customer service was great. Person that helped me very knowledgeable and got me fixed up and on my way in a timely manner.
It was awesome. The help there was very kind and listen to what I was wanting and looking for. They dont get in a hurry to get you out they take their time to make sure that you are happy.
Didnt get much help at Russell wireless and they tried to charge me for several things that I shouldnt have been charged for. Went into here was greeted at door and in and out within 10 minutes with no money out of pocket.

My mom went in for a new phone less than an hour ago. The lady who attended us was super rude. My mom said she wanted the iPhone, the lady kept saying no that it would be too complicated for my mom. We went back and forth with her for a while. Once she finally got the phone she basically threw it at my mom. She then left to attend to other customers. We stayed to activate the phone since she wasnt going to do it. Another rep approached us and thats when she finally paid attention to us. She seemed upset once we told her we would not be buying any accessories there. Normally we wouldve but we werent about to give her any more sales with that attitude. She didnt tell us her name or give us a receipt or else I wouldve put her name on here.I really hope the owner evaluates who works there because paying $17+ to someone that doesnt seem to want to work seems like a waste. From the other reviews on here it seems this lady isnt the only one.
I cant give a 5 star to any of the wireless providers but I have been with Verizon for over 20 yrs. and cant find anything else that compares. Especially clarity and roaming issues. Yes...Verizon IS the best as far as cell phone providers, they just need to stop their price increases.

The midland corporate store is usually my go to store, they have never given me issues, but this store the second I told them I was prepaid the body language of the representative changed immediately and refused to provide me the service Im used to receiving from the other corporate store. They stick me on the phone to speak with a prepaid department, the store couldnt give me a Sim card the reps explanation the system wont let us sale it out what the hell does that mean to me? This is unacceptable to me, as a business owner I thought the level of service was second-rate. I had high expectations coming in here. Just know a short drive to Midland will make a world of difference in customer service. Definitely my last time coming to this sad represenation of Verizon retail.
The salespeople are usually really good, but todays experience was marred by excessive pushiness, especially for their device accessory packages. When someone tells you they dont need something as simple as a screen protector, they dont need to hear about how expensive the device they just paid for is or what a shame itd be if they damaged their phone. Dont chase your customers out the door with desperate pushes for incentivised sales.
This was a very pleasant experience, for someone who hates to go phone shopping, because my past experiences have always left me feeling like I was an inconvenience.Enter George, he was genuinely helpful and pleasant. He helped guide us through the tough decision of purchasing another phone. He was helpful from start to finish.He knew what he was doing and had the personality to boot. If we have to go to the store again we will seek him out. Customer service must be his middle name.
Unfortunately I was given bad information. The sales associate was rather stand offish. He quickly determined my phone had a virus and explained the necessary steps to eliminate it. After returning home and repeatedly trying those steps to no avail, I contacted support who eventually admitted it was a programming error which occurred from recent update. They quickly replaced the phone.
I live in Oklahoma and every Verizon I went to, whether the help I needed could be done in store or over the phone, were more than helpful. This one was all about standing around, talking, and flirting with girls. Wont be coming back to here and even saved this location just to make sure I dont come back.

Tried to pay off my phones that were on my phone plan and they just kept trying to make excuses so we wouldnt pay them off saying they dont take checks, our card machine is acting up... BS! The wait here is always long... service is great though.
The sales manager seemed like he knew everything, but really he didnt know anything. Told me there where gonna be no new up and coming phones this year when I knew there was. Didnt want to take the time to inform me of my question and blowing me off cause I said I was searching to buy 2 brand new phones but had to wait a month. He couldnt tell me much about any spec, it was kind of embarrassing for Verizon to have a sales manager that knew so little. Makes me wonder what else they dont pay attention to. Really made me want to change cell phone providers and Ive been with Verizon for 10 years

This rating is a mix of reviews...1* + 4.5* = 3*. My 90 year old legally deaf father in law went into the store trying to exchange his new phone because he didnt like (too long of a story for here). But apparently he was treated with disdain by a young associate who acted like he just didnt have time to be bothered by someone who had to use a written pad to communicate. 1*. A few days later we came to visit and listened to his story. So i took him to Verizon and ran into some of his concerns. I ended up having to visit the store 3 times that day and yes the 3rd time was the charm. Met associate Kevin who was absolutely wonderful. We got the phone exchanged updated and moved all contact info and pictures. It took awhile but Kevin was the man for the job. He gets 5*. If only Verizon hadnt charged $50 for restocking! The good bad and ugly.
