Bad experience at the autozone in Odessa tx 42nd Street. Needed to use restroom . When I asked the staff for it. She saw I had a bag from other store and she said it was out of service. I had always shop at autozonez. But not anymore. Ugly customer service. Will never shop there anymore. I had planned to buy there . But needed to use rest room first

Got a new battery today ladies helped me out... they where curtious and quick

Ive bought 4 different batteries here and and if you dont make a copy of your receipt then they will screw you over on your battery. Lost receipt for the battery in the wifes challenger and all of a sudden the number isnt in the system for the second time on two different vehicles. Dont trust their system and take your business elsewhere.

Need more knowledgeable people about what products they have and what they carry. Sometimes you have to pay a little more for an experienced person but the results you get are much better.

Raul and Richard were wonderful and extremely helpful! They worked with me and my car even through a co-worker/assistant manager cussing at them, jeering at them and trying to take over at the very end so they could get all the glory. These two men - especially Richard - had the patience of Job in having to deal with such a horrible co-worker/assistant manager. It would have been 5 stars, but for that one person making it not a good experience.

Easy and fast shopping for what youre looking for, for pretty much any vehicle. Great accessories although that can get pretty pricey depending on what youre looking for. I happened to go to purchase some tint for a new car and they are pretty good products!

Had to stop here and get a new windshield wiper. I just bought one because that was all I needed. Went to pay had to wait five minutes for someone to decide to help me even though I was the only customer waiting for assistance. Put my merchandise down and was waiting to be checked out and the lady had zero personality and acted like I was stupid because I was only buying one wiper. So I had to explain why I was only buying one like I was a child.

So my wife went here to buy a battery and have it installed. Some kid named Garrett assisted her. First, he tells her that he can tell the alternator is going bad by the color of the copper. What? I am an ASE certified master technician, and this boils my blood. There is NO WAY you can LOOK at an alternator and tell its bad. You must test the alternator output. So, then he tells her the only way to test it is to remove the alternator from the vehicle!!! How are you going to test alternator output without it hooked up to the car and being spun by the serpentine belt, genius??? You can also turn off the car, unplug the alternator and test at the back of the alternator for an open or internal short. There is NO NEED to remove the alternator whatsoever. The alternator is charging at 14+ volts, which is where it should be. Not to mention a bad alternator has many easily identifiable symptoms... lights flickering, draining the battery while the vehicle is running, etc etc NONE of which is occuring on this vehicle.The vehicle has a known parasitic draw that killed the battery enough times to create a bad cell in the battery, and my wife just came in for a battery. The kid couldnt even install the battery! He tried several different wrenches, then went and got an adjustable wrench ( A HUGE HUGE NO NO) and STILL couldnt perform a simple battery swap. So now my wife is riding home with her battery in the back seat. I am absolutely furious about this, and Garrett is lucky I am out of town or Id pay him a little visit and tell him to his face what a complete moron he is and why he needs to keep his mouth SHUT and let actual mechanics do the diagnosing and why he should stick to just selling parts. Can tell an alternator is bad by the color of the windings.... GIVE ME A BREAK KID.

Came in to see if they can scan my car real quick. Ive done it at auto zone before it takes not even a minute. Well she didnt have time to help me even tho I came first thing this morning and it was only her and I in the store. Just saying bad customer service I will not be returning.

Surprised, i always use oreillys. Much better selection of cleaners and waxes, including the Meguiars cleaner wax i was after. No hard parts this time.

Good customer service

June 2017I bought a car battery for my GMC SUVApril 2018My car is giving me problems and is corroding. Manager Richard Chapa tested the batter and first lied saying the battery was good, he then asked what’s wrong with the batter and I told I had to jump it to start it. He then said the battery was no good and that I would need a new one. I told him I bought the battery through autozone and have a warranty, he refused to change my battery even though the battery is covered through warranty. This is on the Eastside of Odessa and should have better customer service!

Came in around 5:30pm on a Monday and received some of the worst customer service I’ve ever had. I found the light bulbs I needed and stood in line to check out. There was only one person in front of me so I figured it wouldn’t take too long. After standing there five minutes and watching two other employees walk past I started to get frustrated. At the eight minute mark I tossed the bulbs into the nearest bin and went across the street to Advance Auto Parts.The whole time I was in Autozone I was never even acknowledged or spoken to. The phone rang multiple times and nobody picked it up. I seriously debated just pocketing the item I needed since nobody would’ve noticed but I happen to be an honest person with a clean record and don’t want to ruin that.I will never come back to this location.
