This was our 2nd CCW class and Mark did a great job of keeping the group engaged. It wasnt a class I felt I could fall asleep in unlike some of the others weve been to or heard about. I strongly recommend his class, it was fun and informative.

I have been shopping at Orlando FFL for the past couple of years when they opened. My son found them on social media and told me we should go. From the time they opened up and were a smaller store, to now, where they have the other suite. This is the best place to purchase firearms. I purchased my Sig P320 a couple years ago and every time I need anything for my Sig or other guns, Orlando FFL helps me out. I love how professional the representatives are. When I walk in, I am greeted with a smile and the best service I have ever had in any firearm store. Thank you to all the employees.

Very very awesome customer service here. All the staff members are incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable in their field. I had so many questions today and all were answered without frustration, they were just happy to help me. I ended up leaving with an FN509, which I am very happy about. The store is very clean and neatly organized. I also did my conceal weapons permit class here as well, they have the options to do all the finger printing and photos for you, like a one stop shop. Makes things easy for you. Highly recommend this business to anyone looking to purchase a fire arm or complete their conceal weapon permit.

Great place to buy guns very knowledgeable and great customer service with great prices bought my Glock 23 here so far so good and they are one of the few gun shops that open Sunday in the central Florida area.

I wasnt satisfied with the gun stores by my house, so I called this place about a year ago. When I went in to the store I had a fair amount of knowledge, or so I thought.I spent a total of an hour talking with the gentlemen at the store on the first day. I forgot the name of the main guy I dealt with, but he was a veteran with a ton of knowledge. I came back the next day with cash and spent about 3 hours talking with them, and some of their usual customers (LEOs) who gave some real world experience/insight.I left with an LWRC IC-DI with almost all of the bells and whistles. I paid cash, which got me a better price. I also left with way more knowledge than I came with.The reason why Im leaving this review- looking back I was completely at their mercy. They could have sold me just about anything since I didnt already have my mind made up when I walked in the door. Instead they took a whole lot of time to talk me in to such a wicked good rifle. Since then I have dove off the deep end, and research guns constantly. Even after all of my research I still dont think there is a better AR I could have bought.Thanks guys!

Took my CCW class with Orlando FFL. I really enjoyed it. The instructor, Mark, was entertaining and informative. He provided real world examples for concealed carry and stressed the importance of gun safety. I would recommend this class to anyone looking to get their permit. They do finger prints and photos on-site at an affordable price as well.

Class was informative and was a lot of great information, I did think we were going to handle a physical weapon and have a chance to learn the basics with the weapon itself, was looking forward to that. I do recommend that if you don’t require your patrons to wear mask during this climate, that there needs to be an announcement if an individual is sneezing or coughing, more than once they need to step outside, and return once they’ve stopped. There was a person in the back that coughed sporadically throughout the duration of class, nothing crazy, but it was the same person coughing for several hours and because of the times, I felt like a safety rule should have been implemented.

This place is awesome! Highly recommend to anyone!

Good class, friendly staff I took the Concealed Carry class that included passport photos and fingerprinting. My complaint is they dont do a very good job of going over the application process.The instructor Jack Ashby instead of going over the application process talked about joining the USCCA which Im sure he gets some perks from representing them. Thinking I could easily register online with the Florida Dept. of Agriculture I registered online. Big mistake! Once I got registered and paid the registration fee I got a tracking number and it kicked me over to a webpage that stated I had to have my fingerprints scanned at a local law enforcement agency. I called Orlando FFL and they said I should of sent in the hard copy application and other documents instead of doing it online. Thanks for not warning me about this during the class! The Orlando FFL rep said I should send in the hard copy version, which will mess things up in processing my application because it gives you a different tracking number. Now Im either stuck getting my fingerprints done again at a local law enforcement agency or mailing in my hard copy of the fingerprints with a explanation letter and check payment for the fingerprint fees.

Went today for my class and had an amazing expirience! The class sizes are just the right size and the instructor makes the class fun and informative. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to get their CWP. They also offer packages that come with fingerprints done on site as well as your passport photo. Get it all done in one shot! When I entered the store next door to where the classes were I was impressed with the selection. I will definitely be going back for my future firearms purchase.

Went there today for the first time after my brother recommended I check them out. The owner greeted me immediately and offered assistance. There was no pressure to buy at all. Ultimately, I did decide to buy the P365XL that Ive been wanting for a long time at about $40 dollars less than other nearby gun shops. From the time I walked into the store I felt welcomed. While it was a busy day I was greeted pretty quickly. The staff is very knowledgeable and willing to help out any way they can. I explained what needed and was shown several options. I also took the ccw class and ft very prepared after the class to be able to handle a situation if it arose. The should have a bigger space to have this classes or less people to attend it, the a/c at the facility is not sufficient, is very hot in there. The should have have some water for the students. Our trainer was really courteous and professional, very knowledgeable.

I went to get my CCW license through them but also had my firearm sent to them when I purchase my gun in budsgun which I use their service to have it shipped here, but if I had known I would bought the firearm here, they have a great selection and great staff too. I highly recommend this store for your first purchase which I am already deciding to get another firearm. But this time through them. Also if you want to get your CCW license this is the place to go for your class and for your first gun purchase they are very knowledgeable and won’t sell you anything they will sell you the firearm for your needs.

The guy who who teaches the class is great! Hes really funny, he has a witty laid back but sarcastic sence of humor which makes the time go by and makes it really fun. They use wax bullets and the gun has no recoil which I think doesnt prepare you to shoot off a real bullet. I would definitely recommend taking the class here for the experience, but I would also sugest going to a range after before conceal carrying

I took the CCW class and the instructor was knowledgeable and made it fun. The shop next door has a nice selection and knowledge/nice staff. Definitely recommend taking the class there and scoping out their selection for purchasing firearms and accessories you need or want.

Couldn’t even give my money to this shop, placed an online quote request twice, called and spoke to same guy twice still no quote. Decided to spend my money where I don’t have to beg someone to let me spend it. Not saying the entire establishment is horrible since I only dealt with the online quote part of the operation, but whoever they have running that part of the company needs to find another job. Spent my money at another store and am well pleased.

I cant begin to tell you the top notch service I received here. I am a first time gun buyer and Mark and Kyle spent more than an hour explaining, testing and helping me find the correct gun for me. These gentleman were professional, courteous and treated me with the utmost respect. They have earned by business forever.

I went in for the CCW class a few weeks ago what a great offer! $25 for the class but you get $25 gift card for their store so it’s basically free! Zach was very professional yet entertaining instructor. Overall I’d recommend this class to all my friends. The guys at the store were also knowledgeable and helpful since I’m new to firearms. I also appreciated that they helped me understand on how to purchase a firearm and what to look for to make me comfortable with it. Great job guys!

This is a great small shop. For being small they have a lot of great products. As soon as I walked in they greeted me and made me feel welcomed. I went in to purchase a very specific rifle which I pretty much knew they wouldn’t have in stock just because there’s a shortage of them right now and they are one of the more expensive hunting rifles. I sold them some other rifles for the down payment for this new rifle. They offered me almost double what Shoot-Straight offered me. And as for the rifle I want that they didn’t have, they immediately hopped on the phone and began calling around to all their sources. I felt like they really cared about my wants. Even though they offered me alternative rifles that they could get easier they were working diligently on finding my rifle. I for sure recommend this shop to everyone. They invited me to a coffee and guns event. They have raffles to win guns. They had a good selection of ammo. All around great gun shop. Very impressed

I went to a local shop and had a pretty rough time with the associate today. The associates are wearing their mask due to the COVID-19 when I informed them to know I am deaf consumer and asked them to write down because the best option is writing the notes as effective communication per American Disabilities Act: Public Accommodation Title 3 and Florida Statues 760.08 public accommodation.Again, the best option is writing the notes instead taking their mask off due to the health safety. I was frustrated a little bit because the owner had argument with me about paying $5.00 fee additional. Last month, I went to a local shop for filling out the AFT form 4473 and showed my 2 firearms orders (email) to the associate then I was charged for $40 ($20 firearm each transaction). I informed them to know one of my firearms was back ordered due to the COVID-19 surge. Now, I explained to the owner to know I made $40 payments last month because he said it was 30-day past then I have to pay $5.00 fee additional. it doesn’t make sense to me because I hate getting left out of the conservation or miscommunication. The owner doesn’t agree when I told them it was miscommunication with associate last month. This shop is not deaf-friendly experience.

I went to the CCW class and it was very well done. They were very well educated and made the class fun. The shop was well stocked up and they answered every question I had.

I attended the Women’s-Only CCW class with a family member and friend at Orlando FFL in July. The class was around 3 hours long, but it was FUN! Awesome owner (Marc), USCCA rep (Jack) and CCW instructor (Willis)! They made the class comfortable and funny but also informative. They took time to answer any questions that we had and gave us real-life situations for application. Thanks to Marc for letting us squeeze in fingerprints before class, even though we didn’t schedule it 😬 Y’all are awesome!!!

Great little place for firearms. Knowledgeable staff and some of the nicest and helpful guys. They are not pretentious or unapproachable like other large gun stores in town. They have a small selection but what they have are what most people want and if not they can get it for you. Also the pricing is very competitive and a lot less than the big gun shop. I highly recommend to anyone especially if you are new or interested in getting into firearms cause they will give you the time and attention that most places won’t.

Amazing shop!! From everything to the knowledgeable and extremely personable staff, to the wide variety of inventory despite the shops smaller size. I never once felt pressured into buying anything. The patience the staff exhibited going through all my questions and taking the time to allow me to hold every gun that I was interested in completely exceeded my expectations. This is the place you want to go, you are not overwhelmed with Guns from A-Z, but rather a good selection for the everyday carry, or avid gun shooter. Stopped by before they opened and got to meet the owners. Went back for the soft opening and was quite impressed. The place isn’t huge but the selection is much better than most other gun stores in the area. Good variety of firearms and super reasonable prices on everything. They are only charging $20 for transfers as well. Glad to see a new place, the area needs it.

Went here to purchase a firearm last minute. Mark was professional, knowledgeable and attentive. Their customer service was second to none.

A little bit disappointed: I noticed I am one of the rare one with a “50/50” experience, so it might not be representative.I chose Orlando FFL based on their good reviews. It is 52 minutes away from my home, but their FFL fees are reasonable ($20+tax) and their reviews good.I bought a firearm at auction out in Maryland and asked to deliver it to Orlando FFL.Had the bill of sale in my possession.The firearm got transferred, they called to say they received it. Nice of them.As I work most of the day, it is hard for me to find free time except on mornings, but they open at 10:00.I found some time today to go pick up the firearm.As I do not have a CCW, I do have to follow a 5-days waiting period from the date of the purchase.I waited 2 weeks after my purchase to go, so that I could just fill out the paperwork, wait for the approval around (that normally takes 2hrs), show the bill of sale with the date that is more than 5 days, grab my firearm and leave.I bought a lot of firearms online and always processed to work this way: with Johnson (Miami), Shoot Straight (Ft Lauderdale), etc.They informed me at the end that they “don’t work like this, per store policy” and that it is a “gray area”.Formal that I couldn’t pick up my firearm before next Thursday.I tried to explain that if I show proof that the purchase was made 5 days before, it was legal to release the firearm. Again, bought several firearms to super big firms that (I hope!) know the law pretty well.Impossible: they say they would release the firearm only if bought “to their place”. For FFL transfers, they consider the purchase date as the date the paperwork is filled to their place.So I just had to drive 1hr to go to sign papers, back 1hr to my house, next week again 2hrs back and forth just to pick up a firearm that I could just have picked up today.It was not mentioned anywhere on the website that they worked like this, and find it disappointed that stores that decide to create personal business laws (and it is their right- they are free to run their business the way they want) don’t mention it anywhere on the website, nor by phone.So if anyone is doing a FFL transfer, know that the 5 days don’t start the day you BUY the firearm, but the day you sign the paperwork with them. Don’t plan any long drive.EDIT Mar, 13th 2020: I originally put a 2* review. After the circumstances, I decided to change it for a 4.I received a non-approval from NICS (for a reason still unknown). The team handled it well, agreed to keep the firearm (for a fee) and was patient over the phone.I would still recommend reviewing the policy (and the 5 days not to apply after proof of purchase), but as I said in the original review, team is great.
