Purchased new golf cart at the end of June of 2021. Upon it’s delivery I noticed a few scratches but nothing worth making an issue of. Also found that the cart’s brakes were very stiff and you needed to push somewhat hard to brake, that it accelerated rather slowly before getting up to speed, and the armrests on the upgraded seats was cutting into the upholstery when you put them up and down to use them. I called and addressed the issues and was told by the owners wife the following,… the brakes were normal, they discontinued offering the armrests for the reason I described (not offering to repair or credit me for this upgraded option), and the acceleration was normal so as people would potentially avoid accidentally putting the cart in gear and driving through the front of their garage.I accepted this information and moved on. When I went to permit my golf cart for my association I live in they noticed that the brake lights didn’t work with the headlights on. I then called the dealer who scheduled an appointment for roughly a week later. Within that time period the front passenger side headlight began turning on and off intermittently when the headlights were activated..When the representative for the dealer came to pick the cart up I mentioned the problem which he said he would notate for repair (which he did).The cart was picked up in the a.m. and then promptly returned to me later that afternoon. As I inspected it I observed a number of new scratches around the inoperable headlight. I called Sam, the owner, and told him about the damage I observed about the area in question. I told him that I could email him some pictures depicting the problem. Upon my doing so, I also mentioned in the text the other scratches I had observed when I originally received the cart and again addressed the problem with the armrests, hoping to get a fix for that.Sam called me a short time later. He indicated that after getting the pictures, he spoke to his service person who he identified as his son. Sam said that his son denied removing the headlight assembly, adding that he only replaced the bulb. Sam said that he had no idea how the damage around the headlight assembly had been incurred, adding that his son hasn’t told him a lie in his life. He proceeded to question me as to whether I may have caused the damage. I respectfully explained to Sam that I had no reason to remove the assembly being I knew it was under warranty and ultimately his responsibility.What I had expected to be done was possibly some touch up paint, a monetary refund for the ill designed armrests, or maybe just an apology,… none of which were offered.Sam denied any and all responsibility for the new scratches and became confrontational, asking me what I expected him to do, implying again that I was responsible. Being I knew I didn’t cause the damage, in response, I told him that maybe his employee was being less than truthful. Sam angrily responded to my implication, using profanity before then hanging up on me, providing no disposition.I may be mistaken but an intermittent headlight could be something more than a bad bulb, possibly a loose connection or short being there was a problem with the brake lights when the headlights were activated.At the time of this post, STM hasn’t called back or made any attempt to rectify the issue.Great sales pitch but poor customer support!

Bought a golf cart new in 2020 from STM. It was for my 92 year old father in law. At the time he said he would be willing to buy it back if anything happened. Well, we went down a few days ago to sell it back and was told he was not interested. Nice huh?? He would not even try to get us a mirror for it. Gave us the name of a wholesaler. Buyer beware!!

Very poor customer service. No loyalty or interest in selling a cart. We were in contact for almost 4 months, trying to buy a golf cart, but got different answers every time we called. After getting the run around every other week for 4 months, we decided to buy the same cart we were looking for with another company. Would not use STM! Very shady and difficult to work with.

Just purchased Roy Pow lithium battery pack for my 48v 2011 Ezgo RXV from STM. Sam, Travis and Martha were a pleasure to work with. They were very knowledgeable on lithium batteries and Travis told me everything I needed to know about how to install them. The upgrade was fairly easy and the install kit was custom to my cart. I would not try doing this yourself unless you can handle basic wiring task and a little disassembly of your cart. Took me about 10 hours working slowly and double checking my work. Cant wait to run my cart this evening after batteries are charged. If your near Ocala and looking to upgrade your electric cart, stop by and talk with STM.

Recommended to several neighbors & they have all been very happy also. The place to go for service or upgrades or buy a used cart.New to Ocala, went to 3 different local cart places to service my Yamaha Golf Cart. Based on reviews & the knowledge, friendliness & professionalism of the staff, decided to try out STM. Absolutely fantastic service from start to finish. It is a family owned business & they treat you like family. The service was prompt from pick-up thru delivery, communicated the whole way, no surprises. The cart was returned in pristine condition (cleaned & shined which was not expected), the work done was 1st rate, and the prices charged were reasonable and less than the other places I talked to. I whole heartedly recommend giving them a try based on my 1st experience dealing with STM.
