Stacey (Framing/ Mating) was a tremendous help. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience that Ive not found in other locations. Because the Ocala, FL Michaels is a small store it limits what they carry.

Excellent location in Ocala Florida, where you will find everything you need for your crafts, great variety in everything and for everything you need to make, in addition to a great service.

I have a love/hate relationship with this store. All the love for the staff, merchandise and cleanliness. The hate is just my inability to go in for one thing, without walking out with another 5 things ☺

Beautiful location and very nice place

The place was pretty unorganized, at least at the times I have gone there personally. We were looking for pots that we have seen in another, smaller store, hoping we vould find something similar. We could not find anything we were looking for even though the store is decently bigger to other ones weve went to. They do have a lot of great art supplies like markers and pens but leaving with nothing was a bit disappointing.

It It had exactly what we were looking for. I wanted to get an artist easel for my nephew who just started painting. We also were looking for color pencils that you do not need to sharpen. Not only did we find what we were looking for, we found something even better for my niece. The store is packed with so many great deals that it made our shopping quick and easy.

They have a good selection of yarn and seasonal products. They are running low on beads.

Ok store . Nothing on shelves and employees seemed annoyed..

Always a pleasure and end up spending more than anticipated 😉.

I have shopped at Michaels forever. It’s how I decorate our home. This one has been pretty good in the past, but we went in yesterday and it’s bare. Almost like the store is closing. I asked the cashier if there was a reason and she said (reluctantly) it was just because Christmas had just ended (uh... it’s mid-February now lol) and Valentine’s Day and Easter are coming in at the same time. Mine you, they barely had Easter stuff and the Valentine’s Day stuff that was there was cheap $1 items. I’ve been to plenty of Michaels stores at this exact time and I’ve never been so disappointed in stock. The entire entrance had zero items out! I’ve never seen that before. I don’t think I’ll go back to this Michaels. May try the one in Lady Lake.

Great place if youre into hobbies and crafting and DIYs

I always loved Michaels for craft projects. Staff could be a little more cheerful. But no one knows what might be going on with them i guess.

Love it! Also you can use just go to there website and use coupons toward purchase.

Michaels has not been in my list of places to shop. Felt it was out of mayBudget to shop. Went in one a whim. Pleasantly surprised. Even with out clearance sales. I m to put it back on my shopable list.

Overly expensive, hardly any deals, recently it seems as if the store is severly missing many deliveries; so the store is not a stocked as it used to be. But other than that, the store layout never changes and everything follows out into the middle that is equal to the aisle next to it.

The lady at the counter was very helpful and friendly. I wanted a stencil but couldnt find it. They didnt have a lot, but I found one that worked.

The people who work here are always so friendly and the store is always so neat

These types of stores are a bit expensive compared to online shopping but sometimes they have items that you cant find anywhere else. This particular store is well lit, organized and the one member of the staff that saw was curious.

Nice store, clean. Did not have what I was looking for.

I went into Michaels to purchase a helium tank I was told I couldnt use the store coupon or military discount toward the purchase. This is a item that is on the shelf in Michaels so coupons should apply. Now knowing that it would be a better deal to use Airgas for your helium needs. .

This Michaels did not know what they were doing. I ordered yarn online and needed to return it and went to my nearest Michaels ( this Michaels) to make a return. They had no idea how to do the return and told me that I could not return it because its an online order. Which is wrong because on the package receipt it said that I can return my package to the store or by mail. So it was POSSIBLE. So I went to a farther Michaels in lady lake and they gladly exchanged it! Will not go to this Michaels again!!!

I like their items, I feel their prices are kind of high though, however they do have a lot of coupons and promos.

Went to pick up on Art Supplies like Canvas, paint Brushes, Watercolors paint, Oil paints.

Small Michaels than what I’m used to. Store seemed clean and well stocked. Some of the floor staff were not friendly at all especially the woman in the framing department. Young blonde lady who checked me out was the friendliest and the most helpful. Manager, you’re lucky she’s there or else I never would have gone back.

Could find NO clerks on floor to assist shoppers & there were four others looking for clerks also. Need more help !!! Planndd on spending over$500 for supplies that I cannot get in my area in MI....but going someplace else. Sorry for your loss !!! Wasted two hrs !!!

Has alot of good things that I enjoy to look at including material and items for wedding.I recommend people take a peek. Not the largest of stores and not the cheapest of stores but worth checking out :)

I Always choose Michaels over hobby lobby. I feel more at home at their stores and always find what I need

Went there for yarn. Clean store with friendly employees... Would have given five stars, but their prices are a few dollars higher.

Very disappointed. At least half the shoppers were not wearing face covering which the signs say are mandatory. I will not be back any time soon as I did feel safe.

Has a lot of your crafting needs, but there were a couple things I couldnt find, or could only find one of when I needed more than one. Employees are a little scarce and couldnt find anyone to help me efficiently. Cashier was nice. Prices are high, but if you combine a sale with a coupon, you can get a great deal!

I enjoy the selection of items but trying to get assistance from someone for a locked product is harder then you would think. The only person seen for 10 minites was the young lady running the register.

This particular store has not as many deals as I would like to see

The curbside pickup can use some work. Parking in front of the store causes problems for anyone who is entering the parking lot. They should consider creating assigned spaces.Other than that the store has just about anything you can think of. I shop online to avoid overspending :)

Its ok, not wowed like I am with hobbylobby. But nevertheless its a good store with easy to get coupons and the usual 40% off pretty much everything which not coincidentally, had been previously priced at 40% above its worth, same story, different store...

Always A pleasure to shop at Michaels! They have a wonderful selection for each and every craft choice you may be interested in. From flower arranging to adult coloring books to picture frames...and candles. I could go on and on!

Unfortunately at this location the manager is rude has no empathy and shows no remorse even when the error was on their end. I purchased a modular storage unit. Drove about 8 miles home. When I got home excited about my purchase I opened the box to discover zero hardware which at first I thought it was a manufacturer error but I continued to search I discovered a check list with michaels webpage printed out and hand writing all over the instructions this was a unit returned to the store. And was repackaged with no parts and the previous customers paper work in the box. I called the store and asked for a manager explained my discovery and her response was rude.“Yeah! What do you want me to do about it!” She told to bring it back for a refund or exchange. I drive back to the store the cashier was polite and express empathy. The manager comes over with the same exact attitude like I’m disturbing her and say to me. “ I can give your money or you can get another one” in a rude demeaning manor towards me. I say I want to get the same unit again. As this was a planned purchase a kind time coming. She replied. “ Well go to the back and see if we have another one in stock if we don’t then I guess your getting your refund”The problem with all of this is, I’m your client base I’m a paying customer I’m launching my home business and will need regular orders filled but this experience was dis-tasteful. She treated me as if I was a nuisance and for me to check if they have it in the back. Your store sold me a pre-owned item and you couldn’t even check your inventory to see if you have it in stock you make me walk across your store and check for myself and carry a large box up to the front to rectify an error that should have never occurred.The one thing she never did was apologize for what happened in any way. She was rude towards me the entire time.This trickles down into your staff and the overall experience is a store of rude employees whom treat as if your a bother for choosing your company as an option to purchase from. Ocala Florida Michaels needs to correct their behavior you need a new manager. ASAP. Your location is not in a position to treat your clients this way.Especially with Jo-Ann and Hobby Lobby with in a 1 mile radius of your store.Please restructure your store the staff deserves a better manager to lead by example so that our experience as your customer base is improved.
