Have no idea how they actually make any money- everything is behind locked gates and you have to press a button for a customer service rep to come open it for you…. I waited 10 minutes ( pressing the button every few minutes) and no one came over to help me buy my item. I’m pretty sure there was one person working there. Unbelievable. I guess I have to go to Amazon for my deodorant now??
Stopped in here to buy some toothpaste. I immediately noticed that the toothpaste was being protected behind lock and key inside a glass cabinet. Excellent, I thought, CVS is a corporation that understands the value of toothpaste! I pressed the nearby button for help unlocking the cabinet so that I could extract my preferred brand. And I waited. And then after a few minutes I pressed the button a second time. And then I waited some more. And it finally dawned on me - CVS is not a toothpaste respecter, they are a toothpaste DENIER! Finally I had to leave because I was tired of standing in an aisle of an almost empty CVS hoping to be allowed to buy a tube of Crest Pro Health (my preferred brand).I still have no toothpaste, but I will probably be back anyways because it is the closest drug store to my house. Two stars.
Had a VERY rude encounter with a woman who works in the morning. I came to buy pads. When I checked out, I told the woman I had two coupons on the card and asked if she applied the better one since the total was higher than I expected. She just stared at me with stank eye and repeated the total without even checking or answering my question. I only bought 1 item and the store was empty, dont know why she acted like I was such a pain!!
This was by far the worst experience I have had at a pharmacy. The pharmacist was rude, did not follow through on his promise to return phone calls, did not place the order when they said they would, and then Canceled my prescription without telling me and was completely dismissive when I tried to follow up.There are multiple other pharmacies in the area. Please, please, please do not go to this pharmacy.
Horrible experience with this pharmacy getting a prescription transferred and my request ended up being cancelled without my knowledge after waiting over a week to get the prescription filled. i will not be using this pharmacy again
The pharmacy isnt open when they say they are. Late openings are frequent.
I have been avoiding this store because of one bad tempered clerk who works mornings. Today I went there because the Broadway CVS was out of stock of something I needed. The bad tempered clerk was there, looked up, and muttered S--t! underneath her breath. I have no problems with any of the other staff there. I think maybe I should just order the out of stock item on-line and avoid any further problems. Its too bad. I must have spent hundreds of dollars at that store over the years because its close to work.
Every time I have needed to pick something from the pharmacy I spend around an hour here. The administrative process is slow. First time getting my insurance information took 20+ minutes into the system, then 30+ minutes on waiting for them to fill the pills and waiting just because another 20+ minutes for me to pay 2 dollars and get my medicine.Please make it easier to fill insurance info and create a FIFO process to not make people wait this long
Clean convenience store with a pretty wide and decent selection for the products I was looking for, and even stuff I was not. However, only two checkout cashiers on a Monday evening when local office workers get out (5-7p/closing), so line for purchasing was longer than Im used to. Also, was sadly informed they dont allow exchanging cash for quarters (girls gotta do laundry/parking). Bummer. Thanks anyway.
If the Pharmacy hours were correctly and consistently listed on Google, the site/phone number, and the door, many frustrations would be cleared up. I, and many other customers, came in to pick up medicines only to be rushed out and have the gate closed on their requests. The customer service here is also rather poor. Ive seen and experienced a few acts of kindness by the pharmacy staff, hence two stars rather than one. I do recommend you avoid this location (go to Walgreens or a Target CVS) if possible.
This Is my favorite store ever, nice team members and they are very helpful and speed at the checkout, it’s a true sometimes it is a line there at the lunch time but I understood the human workers aren’t a Robots, I’m excited to go back there.Thanks a lots guys.
The customer service was great today! Not just with me but other people that asked for assistance. The manager was present and alert to what was going on at the registers and called for another cashier. Very cordial. Happy customer!
Do not order photos here. Even if the online system tells you they have one hour printing and you receive a receipt. They will cancel your order. They cannot print phote cards in house. This has happened to me twice. They dont even send a notice that its been cancelled. Maybe its a problem with the CVS website.
The store is good and also sells products at a very good price but the Pharmacy is extremely slow and don’t give the medication on time.
They go out of their way to make it an unpleasant experience. You have to queue up in a way that they dont explain, so after waiting for a cashier, I was told to go to the back of a line that wasnt there when I first arrived, but now had grown. I left. The point is convenience - you can find the same stuff at a place that actually practices convenience.
This is the most mismanaged store Ive ever had the displeasure to shop at. I spent 10 minutes in line (I was the only one in line) to buy oatmeal this morning. They also continue to renew a subscription without my permission so I will spend 30 minutes at some point this week picking up the prescription. Its already filled, those 30 minutes are how long it takes to stand in line to pick up a prescription that theyve finished with and that Ive got a text from them telling me to come pick up.The people who work here are nice enough but there is zero effort to keep the line moving. They could not care less if you wait for 10-15 minutes in line (when youre the only person in line). This must be the most mismanaged store in history.
Terrible pharmacy staff, almost always takes forever and a day to get a prescription refilled. They seemed inefficient, not sure whats going on.
I initially wrote a harsh review because the pharmacy employees can be condescending, and are rarely able to fill a prescription on the day that they receive it, which is ridiculous—most doctors prescribe something expecting you can pick it up immediately and pharmacies need 15 minutes to fill your prescription, but these guys take your prescription and tell you to come back in 1-2 days.But today I went in expecting the worst, and they were surprisingly polite, and even remembered my name. So I don’t know what to think. Just be prepared for anything.
The customer service is so bad that if it’s possible to give 0 rates I would have but sadly we can’t do that. The person working there name “Isis” don’t know how to serve the customer. I went to check out two lipstick and although I would say it was my mistake that I didn’t check the price. The worker went to recheck the price and told me that “you need to check the price before buying something and that I need to read everything”. And I apologize while doing so this person was still showing me a bad attitude and when the worker checked out my lipstick she legit threw that lipstick at me. Like OMG how can a worker do that? Being a customer who has been coming to CVS regularly I would say this is the first time I had to give this type of review.
Terribly rude and unhelpful pharmacist put me on hold for an hour and then yelled at me for asking a basic question. I dont usually write google reviews but this was such a terrible experience and I feel everyone should be warned.
Security likes to close the doors 15 minutes before closing. Ridiculous and lazy customer service. 🙄🙄🙄

This CVS is the most inefficient CVS I have ever visited. Come ready to wait, even if there is no one else in front of you...
Very clean and well kept with a helpful staff. Closes early, but their customer base is the areas office worker crowd. If you need extended hours, there are a number of CVS and Walgreens stores on Broadway and on Telegraph, with a 24-hour Walgreens at 54th St. and Telegraph.

Its not working till 12am, update your information!! Had to walk 5 blocks for medication just to find out that they close at 6pm. Wtf?!
Its a CVS, it has what youd expect from a CVS. Falls short of the full five stars because it feels a little sad, its often empty and I the decor is drab. Staff is friendly.
This is the slowest CVS on the planet. I love the staff, but damn - every time Im in here there is a line out the back damn near to Hayward.
Insane hold times. Rude staff. Theyve hung up on me numerous times for no reason.

Avoid this store.One of the workers, whom I asked help at Shaving stuff area, was very rude to me. I wanted to complain about her. I called the contact number and got no answer!!It was like this: First I asked for some help and she goes like As soon as I get a chance, Ill help you. And sent me away. I was waiting for her at the Shaving stuff area for over 10 minutes.I went back to the cash register area and she was just standing there. I told her I was still waiting... Then, she said the same thing like Ill help you bra bra bar...So I asked what she was standing for at the moment. Her next words Im not gonna help you if you are rude!What?I just saw a few people, like 2 shoppers, in the store.Anyway, the phone calls were not answered either.
Always helpful. And Sunday open til 4pm.
The worst and most disorganized pharmacy ever! I had to come here 4 times for meds, and all 4 times they don’t have them ready even after 4-5 hours. I’m def going to other pharmacies even though this place is the closest to my place. Avoid!
Also tried to get help with shaving supplies and was blown off by rude employee.
