A so great place for book lovers, a large range of old books -some being quite rare- in so many fields, a friendly and experienced staff. A place to visit. I personally have bought some very old maps I had no idea I would have find here... but I did! Great experience.

The kind of bookshop where you can follow your nose from one interest to another, picking up new ideas along the way. A real treat.

This is a really wonderful secondhand bookstore. Books from floor to ceiling, with little thats recent or mundane, as far as I can tell. Rather, they stock a huge assortment of old, out-of-print, or just plain odd books. That being said, they have very large literature and history sections, which might well have what youre looking for, depending on who you are. You could spend days browsing this place.

They have a lot of books compressed into a tiny space. I reccommend this if you need that, it really is fun to look at. But it is hard to find anything, you have to have a specific idea of what you want.

Wonderful selection of used books and they have many old and harder to find books in beautiful editions that look great on my bookshelf.

Wow ! What can I say ? I can say a bit. Owl & Company Bookshop may not have the largest collection of new and used books but it definitely is one offering much variety in its provision of excellent reading and literature. I really appreciate the wide variety of subjects available i.e. psychology india self help history fiction science fiction children etc. The store itself is comfortable and cozy with a nostalgic air of a reading experience of days now going by. The store staff are personable helpful and humorous and make a shopping experience complete and pleasant. The stores location is on a local busy street with shops restaraunts and cafes enabling one to spend a nice day off in leisure. Parking can be a bit of a challenge but there are nearby bus routes only minutes away from the local subway or bart train system. Ive found gems of books at this locale and if interested I believe you could too. Happy reading and cheers to your endeavors !

This place gets a rare 5 stars here, not to try to come off so Siskel & Ebert in the used book world goes, but Ive dealt with enough buyers to have a good thermometer . The selection, location & overall aura of Owl & Co. is cool to any standard, even the more shrew. Coming from a past lewd fellow of the baser sort myself, Ive learned countless lessons in life to appreciate troves of priceless literature found with discernment in shops like this. The whole ladder thing makes it all the classier, though if it was mounted at the top crane-like and with one light push would wheel from one end to the other then youd have to pick a number to even enter its door, imo. No Catch 22s in stock today, but the beauty is tomorrow that can change. I tried not to feel bad today clearing their shelf of the J.D. Salinger paperbacks, he only wrote 2....

Like opening a treasure chest, the Owl is a goldmine in the best way possible, Ive located out of print editions for 10 or less, the value is in taking the time to adventure thru the myriad bindings, upon your departure you will surely be the wiser!
