One thing about myself is that I dont let everyone know what Im thinking all the time. I dont like to complain about services and I typically dont leave recommendations either. However, this will be my exception because the service I received while shopping for a car recently at Audi of Oakland, was phenomenal! This was due to the Initiative taken by ANA, my sales person. If you have the chance I highly recommend choosing Audi and have ANA guide you through your next vehicle purchase. I went to see a 2013 Mini Cooper she assured all my questions were answered and didnt make me feel pressured what-so-ever.

Customer service is amazing. Starting with the receptionist. Very soothing voice and informative. The service department is amazing. My oil changes are done within a good time frame. They always try their best to provide a loaner if your in need. Service reps are extremely friendly. Their new locations is spacious and very clean. Great location easy to get to.

Bryan handled my service appointment seemlessly and kept me informed at all times via text and in person ahead of the service. He even finished early!Music in lounge was too nightclub for me for a during the day appointment.Need to lower the desks or have office chairs that can be adjusted so you can reach the desks ergonomically as it’s not a comfortable place to work while waiting for your appointment.

Worked with an amazing team at Oakland Audi. Our sales person, Robert Fleming, was really great. We handled everything over the phone and all I had to do was go in to see/get the car. Of note, I talked to multiple Bay Area Audi dealers and Oakland was the best. Robert and the team there were really great — informative and straight forward. I live on the peninsula and left some paperwork behind, Robert drove 45mins to bring them to me the next day. Will definitely give them my business again!

Terrible customer service. Theyve owed me money for over a year. I had my car inspected here last summer and, long story short, they threw out my parking pass while my car was there and I couldnt use my car at all that weekend as a result since I couldnt re-enter my garage if I left. Frustrating, but I was happy to look past it assuming theyd reimburse me soon. They agreed to reimburse me for the cost of replacing the pass and said a check was on the way. A couple months went by, no check. I reached out and they apologized and said its on the way. Still no check. Ive reached out periodically over the year and still no check or communication from them. Am I suffering because I havent been reimbursed? No. But I absolutely wont trust a place that doesnt respect their customers enough to resolve their own mistakes.

Overall a great experience. There was one person who told me a loaner car wasnt available so I had to wait, which was totally fine. Then another person said they could get me a loaner car no problem, it would have been nice to have had that option VS waiting for two hours while my car was being serviced. Everyone was very nice though.

Demand for and supply of cars is difficult mix currently, but Audi Oakland found, secured, and delivered the car we wanted. Their sales team found us a valuable rebate and offered some incentives as other rebate programs expired, all in service of making this purchase and experience a positive one. I threw a last minute car problem to them, and they worked on that, too.The new location is far roomier than the old space on Broadway. Its also a bit wilder: its just a short walk to the Bay Trail.

I’ve only bought six cars in my lifetime, but this was the best experience by far. Everyone pulled together to get the car ready as promised and was professional and friendly. LC, my sales guy, is a car enthusiast himself and knew all the details about the car I was getting and was excited to talk about other cars on and off the lot. Not a good experience at all. Brought my Audi in for scheduled service.The only greeting I got upon pulling into the service area was staff yelling at each other about who was supposed to be moving cars. Getting a loaner (necessary due to the new location near the Coliseum) was a lengthy hassle. After 20 minutes of waiting, they tried to give me a vehicle that was filthy, inside and out. The next one smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Option #3 hadnt been properly cleaned, either, but wasnt too bad, and with what should have been a 15 minute drop-off now stretching past 45 minutes, I needed to get back to work.Upon return the next day, more waiting for them to wash my car (which wasnt worth any wait at all - they brought it out soaking wet and didnt even wipe down any interior surfaces). The crowning glory was they didnt replace my wiper blades, which was the one thing I had expressly asked them to do.Will not return,.

The salesman was so focused on closing the sale, he completely missed walking us through all the features of the car. Its been an ongoing journey of - how do i and what does this button do? Also the service department is not great. They sent us to a collision repair shop to get a tire changed. That shop then sent us BACK to Audi Oakland because they did not have the equipment. The post lease experience is so horrific - especially considering its a luxury car.

Since getting my car in 2018, Audi has steadily declined in the quality of service you can expect of them. The staff is generally nice, but an oil change that used to take a couple hours is now 3 days. Loner cars, almost essential depending on your job, are now never available, even if you request them ahead of time.Moving out of Oakland and out to the ball park was another out of touch move. While I love my car I dont know if I would consider doing business with Audi of Oakland in the future.

Audi of Oaklands new Coliseum location is a huge improvement in convenience for their service department. No more awkward side street entrance and long wait times for booking your car in. Rafael R was my service adviser yesterday and I couldnt be more pleased with his availability, positive attitude, and professionalism. I received updates throughout the day by text and Rafael was available by phone to discuss details. Slick and painless assignment of a courtesy vehicle and a fun way to test drive the latest and greatest from Audi! Pickup was similarly fast and efficient and I was pleasantly surprised to find my car had been cleaned both outside AND inside.Convenient+easy+efficient+transparent = one happy customer. Great job guys!

It was farther to go than Audi Oakland was before, but it was spacious, we could wait for our car standing outside in the shade, the people were courteous and efficient and they texted us early that the car was ready so we went right back down and miss the bad traffic by avoiding the freeway! Highly recommend working with LC on the sales team if you’re looking for a new car. I was very happy with the experience of buying a new car at Audi of Oakland. LC was very pleasant, accommodating, and informative when walking through each option (buy vs. lease), and he helped me find the exact car we wanted. Morgan on the finance and contract side was a pleasure to work with as well.The reason for three stars instead of five is their service / repair team. I originally brought in my Audi to be serviced and washed, and told the tech we needed 100k service before a long road trip. We informed the tech that there was a new rattle with the car at high speed. I paid for a five point inspection and they found an issue with the engine coils, which they replaced. We dropped off the car on a Wednesday and the service tech said to pick up the car on Monday, but called us early to say the car was ready on Saturday. The car was delivered to me without being washed (as promised) and after paying for $1,500 in repairs + service and driving away I felt the rattle as soon as I was back on the freeway. They did not fix the issue we told them about prior to being serviced and they obviously did not complete a road test as part of the five point inspection, or they would have felt the rattle and not returned an unsafe car to us early. After bringing the car back to be fixed they told me they will need to charge me for another diagnostic, and they could not move my car up in the queue. This was poor oversight and communication by the service manager. I should have driven my car to another dealership and not given them anymore business, but I am glad the sales team delivered a much better experience.

Zhi Huang, my service rep has made all the difference in their service department. I have owned many vehicles in my fifty years of driving and his attention to detail, communication skills, and prompt text responses show me that the customer is his top priority. I met Mr. Huang on my first visit to Oakland Audi’s new facility and knew immediately that he is a credit to the Oakland Audi brand. He does not trivialize questions as had been done at the old facility and he seems to be interested in my concerns and resolving them.

Best car buying experience ever. One of my least favorite things is walking in to a car dealer. LC made it possible to do the majority of the deal online prior to arrival at the dealership. Worst attitude and service I’ve ever experienced. They dont care anything after you purchased your car. They changed the delivery date again and again, at least three times. Our plan was unable to proceed as scheduled, and our daily routine was also affected. We really regret and disappointed to Audi Oakland. When we finally get the ‘new’ car, they said it was cleaned twice...(Update and describe what happened...)The worst part of this experience was their attitude in dealing with customer reactions and their tricks for selling car.Our sales was actually patient and thoughtful. During the process, he tried his best to help us understand all the information about the car. We came for a certain color car, because they said there was a car of this color. When we had decided to buy the car with them, they said that the car had been sold two hours ago and asked if we would like to change to another color and give us a discount. This is not as expected, but we still want the original color. So we asked how long does the dispatch take? (there was no contract yet) Then, they gave us an acceptable pick-up date, so we decided to sign the contract.However, all the unhappiness happened after someone made the previous irresponsible guarantee. I dont believe this person has no experience in dispatching cars. He didnt need to boast about the delivery date just for selling the cars or let customers had expectations. This not only caused trouble for other colleagues, but also affected our private affairs. In order to pick up the car, we asked for leave, but we waited at home for a day without receiving notice. We contacted them many times, and they finally said that the car hadnt arrived yet. This happened more than once, and it was tiring. So we proposed to change the car in other colors. They conversely said that they had offered us this choice, but we refused. (In completely different situation!) We had to keep waiting...We know the helplessness of our sales and know that he couldn’t control everything, but he was the only one we could appeal at that time. Later, his attitude was negative, and we gradually began to distrust them. In the end, we just want to pick up the car as soon as possible, and dont want to listen to their excuses anymore.They did not apologize and had a bad attitude. They push all errors to the delivery team. When we got the car, we pointed out that the car had a lot of dirt and oil stains. They only said that they were not detailing but dealers. All the processes were very insincere and unprofessional.

The service people were super nice and helpful, so this is no reflection on them - I just think Audi either needs to hire more people or manage their appointments better so this doesn’t happen.

If this was just about the service, I would have given 5 stars. Zhi was very professional, courteous and pleasant to talk to. He was in contact with me throughout the process either by text or by phone. Even though the technicians could not replicate my issue, the found a couple of suspension parts that were not tightened to spec. I got my car back within 2 days as promised.My issues was with the loaner. I know this is first world problems but why own an Audi. The loaner was gross. Dirty inside and out. Foot prints on the doors, dirty seats, stuff rolling around in the back, etc. I was embarrassed to drive it.

Three Strikes and Your OUT!Do not use the service department at Oakland Audi. I have NEVER had a worse service experience at any car dealer. Not only did I make 3 attempts to have my car receive routine service (oil change) and a minor recall for a bolt than I did at Audi Oakland. And even at the end of it all my car was not serviced after leaving it for several days. To make matters worse, then they charged me for 1.9 gallons of gas used in a loaner car used just to drop off and pick up my car that was not even worked on.Spare yourself the grief of unbelievably bad service and take your car anywhere else except Audi of Oakland.

These people overcharge. I brought my vehicle in for repair of AC. They charge $250 an hour !to evaluate issues which is not applicable toward labor or parts. In my case I was told what was wrong and authorized repair. When that was done they said there was something else that had to be replaced. When that was replaced they said I needed a new compressor which with labor was an extra several thousand dollars. I discussed this multiple times with service agent but he maintained charges were appropriate. All I know is I’ve spent over $1,200 and the AC still doesn’t work. I am a very unhappy consumer.

Audi Oakland Service has been great in years past but at my last service experience I was disappointed when my fluids (windshield fluid) was not filled and my car was not washed as custom with Audi Care and regular service.I was appreciative that I was able to leave the car overnight and pick it up the following am but Audi set a high service standard which didnt come through this time around when it came to the little things.

I came to Audi Oakland because they’re in the heart of the Bay Area and they have a large selection of vehicles compared to other dealerships in the area. I was working with salesman, Bobby Langlois, and Shah, the manager to get my car for over a month. They helped me get the car I wanted and made sure I got a great deal. When I dropped off my car I told the representative that the car had 2 leaks and I was charged 250.00 per leak for inspection, a day or 2 later he called me and told me that the technician didn’t find those leaks but he found another one and ghat was the one that needed to be repaired, about 8 day after I picked it up I drove it 2 days straight and the next days after driving it for 2 days I noticed oil spots on the ground so I put it on jacks and check and the leaks that they didn’t find are still leaking even though I told the guy where the leaks where located, I’m bringing my car back to the dealer today hopefully we can work something out, I already spent 3400.00 on a repair ghat wasn’t what I told him needed to be repair.

I have to say I had a very poor experience at this Audi dealership- from showing up to a 1:00 appointment- where they told me my car wouldn’t be ready for 2 days- yet they didn’t have any loaner cars. Sales guy said I could come back the following day where he’d reserve a loaner. I showed up then- no loaner.I had to call for a ride home and then back.Heard from the sales guy at 8am the next morning. He said my car would be ready that day- called at 3:30 to see when my car would be ready. He said not until the following day.It was a very stressful and unnecessary experience. I will never go back and I would not refer ANYONE to this facility.

Service at Audi of Oakland leaves a little to be desired. Scheduled an appointment to get a new battery and what should have been a 90 min appointment turned into them keeping my car for 5 days, and not because there were additional mechanical issues. They didn’t have the battery in stock the day of my appointment, then delayed it even further because the guy who checked me in wasn’t in office to process me out, then was delayed again because there wasn’t a technician in the day after. None of this was communicated to me early on, but only at the time I was supposed to come in to pick up my car. Thankfully I had courtesy car. Unfortunately, the car was not cleaned prior to loaning it out to me. I think I’ll be taking my business back to Audi of Concord even though it’s further away.

Zhi Huang worked hard to get my vehicle serviced as quickly as possible. He was friendly and responded immediately to my texts. He was very professional and accommodating. The new location was conveniently located right off of the freeway. Although no fault of Zhi’s, the loaner car I was given was not in great shape. It had dents and scratches all over it, needed oil, had a non-functioning sunroof cover, and did not have a pleasant smell inside. The car was also not very clean and the air conditioning did not seem to cool the car off. It was stifling. It was the last loaner car available when I dropped off my car. In all of my years servicing my cars at Audi of Oakland, this has never happened. Hopefully they are not cutting back at their new location. The downtown Oakland location has always had plenty of nice and new loaner cars. I did, however, have similar negative loaner car experiences at the Livermore Audi dealership and stopped going to that location for that reason (as well as shady sales experiences at that location). I drive the extra distance just to have my car serviced at Audi of Oakland because of the excellent service and fair sales experiences I have had at this location. I would recommend Audi of Oakland. We have purchased 2 Audis at this location and have been very happy doing business with them.

It was also great not to worry about COVID while I was there - The facility was very clean and all employees wore masks. Got my new Audi this week from Audi Oakland and hope to be back in a few years if/when I need a new one. I worked with Marcus and then Robert. They were terrific - Robert got the manager to beat a really aggressive offer from another bay area dealership. I could tell they are really invested in making the deal work for their customers. For once, while buying a car, it didnt feel like I was being sold something. They get my highest recommendation. This was by far my BEST buying experience.You guys ROCK!

Alex was very professional and knowledgeable and very available to answer questions by text. He gave us a comparable loaner car too. We left our house keys on the keychain and Audi had it in my vehicle before I noticed it was missing. The new location is great. Although the old location was still showing on my maps which is confusing.

Zhi was very thorough, friendly, prompt, and was all about solving problems. The rest of Audi Oakland remains rough. Zhi did not have enough colleagues to check more than one person at a time. Instead of helping him, someone came out and told each of the three or four other customers waiting behind me that somebody would be with them right away. She then went inside and explained to everybody that it’s important to greet people, so that they will say they were greeted right away on the survey. Where I come from, you get good customer service suveys by providing good customer service, not by goosing the system. The fact that the dealership was overbooked and disorganized meant that my car still hadn’t had its oil change before closing time. Why schedule a 9:15 appointment with me if you’re not even going to look at my car until the next day?

Mostly my experience was good. I will say there were a couple of items that I felt fell short. First there seems to be a disconnect between sales and support when it comes to the MMI feature. As a customer with an issue, I want a single point of contact to resolve. I did get shuffled between sales and support and neither seemed to know the whole process. Second, this issue took almost 4 days to resolve. Typically, when I get my car back, its had a quick cleaning. This time it did not and given the time to resolve I felt that was a missed detail that I would expect from a premium car brand.

I made an appointment for an oil and filter change at Oakland Audi.The online scheduling was quick and easy and I had a choice of several appointment slots that worked for me.The quality of work was satisfactory, however the work took a very long time to complete (two hours) while I waited.Apparently, the service was completed faster than the two hours, but the advisor went to lunch and didnt hand the service off to another advisor while I was in the customer waiting area so I could be notified and sent on my way.Service prices are extremely high at this service center ($251 for oil and filter only).Hourly service rate, I was told, is $270/hour, when I questioned the cost.Had I not been going on a trip through the mountains the next day, I would have canceled my appointment due to the cost of service. I doubt I will be having another oil and filter change performed here.The free vehicle inspection that was done along with the oil and filter change highlighted some potential future service needs, and was appreciated, and the car received a free quick wash as part of the service.

My trunk would not close and was able to get serviced the next day. I was given a courtesy car which was great since I have kids and needed a car. Customer service was great and communicated with me throughout the process! I was disappointed that it was only a loose bolt causing my trunk not to close and was charged a high amount to tighten this. I was also disappointed that my car was not washed inside or out given that I spent over 1K in service fees.
