Garrett at High Octane Body was professional, fast, and less than half the cost of the other estimate I got. Ill never go anywhere else for body work. I showed up for an estimate just after 5pm. Garrett squeezed in my repair the same day. He is incredibly friendly, honest, skilled, and fast. He waives the $500 insurance deductible for some major repairs, and charges just half the deductible for other repairs. Highly recommended.

Took my Camaro here with a pretty good sized gash across two body panels. Couldn’t be happier with the shop and couldn’t be more disappointed with my insurance company. It took Garrett under a week to order the underline damaged components, take delivery, install them, reforge and repaint my body paneling. And this was over the MLK long weekend. It took my insurance company a month to deliver the check to High Octane. Apparently it takes four times as long for insurance to do paperwork as it takes High Octane to do actual work. They even cleaned the car inside and out. Talk to him before you talk to your insurance company and they try to send you on a quest to get your car fixed six towns over.

This review is long over due. From the time my car was repaired here, ive sent everyone i know in need of repairs to this shop. Top of the line body shop. Garrett explained every step of the process clearly and delivered great work. It was a relief to deal with a shop that conducts business in this manner, after going in, not knowing what to expect. And i definitely want to thank Garrett (if he sees this) for helping with my deductible.

Garret is my go to car mechanic, not only is he super helpful, resourceful, and knowledabgle, but he is extremely reliable and honest. I trust him with my car, and trust that he is looking out for his customers. He will help you work with your insurance company to get a great deal and will refer you to someone in the area if he cant help with your specific car issue. He has a nice big warehouse that is easily accesible in west oakland. I couldnt recommend him more highly. I know my car is safe and that the problem will be solved if I call Garret. Thank you.
