Reliable planes, nice & friendly staff! Only problem lately is the smoke! Majority of recent flying lessons cancelled due to weather below visual minimums. But nobody can help that.

Many people complain about problems scheduling. Yes, the Groupon process is a bit discouraging, but be patient and it will work out. Rick called back eventually and everything was arranged. Rick is a wonderful guy to talk to once you connect.I bought this flight for my son who is a true patriot of planes and I honestly could not imagine the experience to be any better! Our instructor was Panha Sethy. I am sure that there are a few old aces with great skill and knowledge, but Panhas calm confidence and sincere friendly attitude really makes this young man a perfect teacher! I am considering the club membership and we are definitely coming back for lessons with Panha soon.

Oakland Flyers has good people, good airplanes, affordable rates and experienced flight instructors. If you are a pilot, or thinking about learning to fly, check them out. Youll be glad you did.

They have poor customer service and not helpful at all. We purchased a groupon voucher and wasnt able to get in touch with them for months together. Nobody responds even after leaving multiple voicemail messages. Dont trust them with groupon voucher.
