Went in looking for replacement wheels for my online skates.... Seldom do I see such attentiveness in any business, Ted was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Prices are modest and fair to the quality of the products, same goes for for the clothing items. All in all, this is my new store for skate needs as well as winter/snow activity gear, if I ever were to take it up!

I purchased a new snowboard and boots online and before going on my first trip with them I wanted to get the boots heat molded and the board de tuned. Franco at the Oakland Park location was more than happy to assist, taking extra time to talk to me about exactly how the boots needed to be fit to my foot and how my board should ride. High level of attention to detail and great customer service. Highly recommend

I had the BEST experience at the Fort Lauderdale area Peter Glenn on Oakland Park Blvd. Ted helped me find a great pair of ski boots for my upcoming trip. He made a few recommendations and walked me through the pros and cons of each. In about 90 minutes I had new boots that had been heat molded and adjusted perfectly for me. Also, kudos to the store for having great inventory and a wonderful staff!

Great selection. Most stuff seems to be priced relatively high but there are some deals to he had here and there. Not too much competition to choose from here in S.Fl so Id say they are the best around. Wish they would be a bit more competitive with prices.

What a great store! I went there to get a pair of inline skates and Ted was super helpful, he didnt have too much faith in my 100mm wheels choice because of my skill level but he gave a lot of helpful tips and now Im rocking my large wheels without issues. He certainly knows a lot about skates

I went in today for some help with snowboarding gear and setup. Garrett in the snowboard section spent over 2 hours of his time answering questions, trying out different gear and ensuring we didnt just buy gear to make a sale. I was not expecting the experience today and Im really grateful for it. If you need to get snowboarding gear, I highly recommend this shop!

The legendary snow ski and snowboard business in South Florida with an outstanding staff and equally impressive workshop. Before you head out to the mountains, you need to stop here. They have everything you need from base layers to snow gloves, ski goggles to socks, snowboards, skis.... And one thousand things in between.Plan to spend some time, try things on, and ask questions of the super friendly and very competent staff. They wont steer you wrong.

A ski and snowboard shop in south Florida? Much to my delight it does indeed exist! The guys (and gals) are super friendly and incredibly knowledgeable considering they get about .0001 inches of snowfall per year.I’m so glad to have them as my local shop and I’ll support them as much as I possibly can over buying online. Nothing beats being able to touch and feel and try on equipment and apparel. You definitely don’t want to get to the mountain two thousand miles away to discover that your online discount ski boots hurt.Support your local shop. These guys ROCK!!

I give my experience three stars only because of the way it started. I was initially being helped by a young man with red hair who was helping me find boots. I sat for ten minutes waiting for him to return, but he never did. When I did see him again, he was in a back room doing something else. He saw me sitting there and moved out of sight of the door. Everyone else was busy assisting other customers and when he was done, Ted and another employee--whose name I get, but might start with a P--came to my rescue. They were very patient and knowledgeable!

Staff is super helpful and friendly. It felt like I was in a small town with my fellow locals greeting and chatting with me. In contrast, similar stores at local malls had staff giving me the look of go away or this better be a good question. For a bit, you almost think that this Peter Glenn store is a mom & pop shop due to the nice atmosphere.

They have ever thing you could possible think of for skiing. Some of the items are pricey but I found a lot of stuff at great prices. The staff helped me get everything I need for my skiing trip. They even gave me a check sheet of things that I need to get for my trip. I had a great experience thank you guys for all your help.

Had a great experience. Went in just to get a pair of gloves for my 7 y/o daughter. An associate named Sara helped us and she was very helpful and made sure we got the right pair. While I was there I noticed they sold inline skates so I asked about them and Sara took the time and helped us find the right pair for my daughter. I never felt rushed and she was very nice to my kids as well. Highly recommend buying from here.

Oakland store they asked me for help I said I wanted help with some shoes they sent me to the back of the store the shoe department and I waited 10 minutes before I can get some help after I got the help the service guy was excellent it just took a little while when I got there the selection was great all types of shoes if you need something for skiing water sports This is the place to go don’t worry about the service it was just the time that I was there

Had an annoyed, uninterested tone the whole time he was assisting me, to use the term “assisting” very loosely. Had smart Alec, non well mannered replies. I would put his service in the running for top 5 worse customer service experiences ever. No “thank you”, no “have a nice day”, no “you’re welcome” when I thanked him even though he didn’t deserve it. AWFUL! Store itself is large, well organized, lots of choices for everything. First time here, great store, terrible first experience.

Be sure that you know what you want before buying here because returns are definitely NOT hassle free. Theyre nice when youre buying things, but watch out if you ever want to RETURN anything. I bought two pairs of snowboarding boots for my wife and son, then a couple days later decided to just order different ones online and have them shipped to our ski place because we didnt have room in the luggage to bring them with us on the trip. Never wore them. Went to return them and they gave me an attitude about returning them. Not just one employee, but BOTH that helped me. I thanked the second guy for helping me after the transaction because I was raised to be courteous and he actually GRUNTED in reply. I own multiple businesses and customer service should always be the main focus. This store just lost my family and friends as customers as well as anyone who is swayed by this review over $350 worth of snowboard boots. Definitely NOT the best business decision!

Extremely bad customer service at this branch. I went to return sandals that I bought 4 days ago and trade them in for a different size but got so much grief for it. There was a small amount of debris on the sandals from walking in them for 10 minutes around my house to try them out and the employee said they were used. I specifically asked the cashier I bought them from if I could return the sandals after trying them out for a day and he said it would be no problem at all if it was within 2 weeks. The two employees here though kept grumbling about how they were used and they cant take them. It was well within their return policy and no damage at all, I even offered to wipe the dust off the sandals so I could save them the one minute it would take to do it. The interrogation I received was a bit unnecessary. I was going to buy another pair of shoes there also but I did not want to deal with their bad attitudes any longer than I had to.

My fiancé and I went into this store on Oakland Park today, to purchase new gear for our honeymoon ski & snowboarding trip. Absolutely NO ONE offered or bothered to help us after being in the store for 15 minutes. We were initially greeted with stares and frowns! I would give them zero stars if I could. I guess they think black folks dont ski...Guess Ill be reaching out to Corporate on this!!!

I work in a freezer environment warehouse now and was suggested this place.I went and had an awful experience.For one, i was watched and followed around the store. Im a Black male and i assume not many Black males pop up in ski shops.Regardless, you dont stereotype.Even when i asked one of the associates - who was doing a bad job shadowing me - for assistant, he tells me that its not his area and that he will get me help.The help... Knew nothing bout the gloves. I knew more bout the product through reading the packaging.End of the day, $27 wasted on gloves that still couldnt keep my hands slighty warm.Never will i come back here and shouldve never had purchased anything here.

Stay away from the ski techs. they act as salesman and will condemn your equipment to get you to buy their equipment. they come off like liability lawyers. get your skis done at the mountain it is easier and cheaper.

We went for help with our Osprey backpacks that we bought at REI in Jacksonville. Let me tell you the staff at Peter Glenn didnt bat an eye about helping us. I highly recommend Molly Tuman. She was the best. Very knowledgeable. Showed us how to properly adjust our Osprey backpacks, what we were doing wrong, even gave us pointers about our shoes, how to tighten them properly to keep heels in place and stop toes from hitting the front of the shoes. Spent a lot of time with us and we are very appreciative. Learned a lot. I highly recommend her, the store, and all the friendly staff. Not a heavyweight backpacking store, meaning no tents, sleeping pads, cooking gear, etc. But for lighter backpacking needs such as shoes, orthotics, socks, gloves, and Osprey packs ( they do carry heavy duty packs), I highly recommend them. I get my skates here. They make sure they fit perfect and do footbeds for my high arches. My feet dont hurt thanks to them. They have a fabulous selection of mid to high quality skiwear and snowboard stuff. They dont sell junk, all is decent quality and even some of the nicer high end brands. In all a nicely stocked and well run store. The clerks are awsome in retail they have to put up with all kinds of dumb things and they rise above it with courtesy and politeness. Never had any issue with a return and they are knowledgeable and cheerful. They have nice things this is not a dollar store so expect to pay for quality.
