Jennifer and Diana were absolutely great in helping me rent a storage unit. I was renting a unit for my brother who had just gotten out of the hospital. Jennifer and Diana took the key pad out to the car twice so he could sign the paperwork. They were extremely accommodating, knowledgeable, and professional. They made our experience great. My only issue was not knowing before hand insurance was required before the paperwork could be completed. That was not their fault but the fault of the person who made the initial sale. He failed to disclose all required costs. I cant thank Jennifer and Diana enough.

Clean facilities and premises are secure... although, I dont like that there is no longer gated access to get to storage areas.Storage costs are not cheap. They lure you into renting a space w/ super discounted rates, but as soon as it expires they raise the rent - and they continue to increase it on a regular basis.

Sierra sold me on this location. I visited another Public Storage location and the staff did not seem friendly, so I looked around for another. Sierra was welcoming and made me feel like this was a safe location for me. I recently broke up with my significant other, and having a staff member I knew I could talk to if I needed help has been wonderful for my peace of mind amidst the stress of everything else.

This Public Storage site (1650 W Oakland Blvd) and Natasha did an excellent job taking care of me. Due to unexpected issues during a move, I thought I would need a storage unit temporarily. They were quick to assign me a unit, and assure me they had another unit close by that I could rent if I needed it. Ultimately, I did not need a storage unit, and Natasha refunded 100% of my money within 24 hours of the cancellation. I would definitely recommend Public Storage, and wont hesitate to reach out to them for any future storage needs. Thank you for your professionalism and outstanding customer service.

Dianna is a definite delightful asset to the PS i use located just west of I95 on Oakland pk blvd Fort Lauderdale Florida .Down to earth customer service !

Clean spaces and should be secured but the gates are frequently locked in the open position. Dont be caught onsite after 9pm, the police will be called,, and you will be fined. The area is enormous and not laid out well. The spaces are numerous and this makes things hard to find. If you want to get directions to your unit when renting online or from the office this will be a huge help, otherwise you are sure to get lost in the maze. The place will also raise the rent shortly after renting, and then periodically thereafter. So, always shop around for deals.

When I got there, I was met with a patient and great listener in Sierra. She didn’t rush me like most people, but made sure to understand what I needed/looking for. These are the kind of people you need when in comes to service and respect not to just customers but to people in general. Thank you Sierra. You were amazing.

My rate started at about $64 and magically made its way to $123 by the time I was done with the place. My second unit here was supposed to be Air conditioned, it was not, it just had an interior entrance instead of exterior. Reserved this unit online and when I came to move in, we spent 30 minutes trying to find it because the girl didn’t know where it was. We went to two wrong units before we returned to the office and she had to ask another employee where it was. Not sure why she didn’t ask in the first place?They force you to “rent” a lock but then you don’t get reimbursed at the end of your stay, and if it is for one of the outside unit, you can’t reuse this lock as it is designed specifically for their doors.Access hours are awful. They close at 7, making it nearly impossible to have more than an hour or so to go through your things if you want to go after your day job. Never really felt safe there, as there were always some suspicious characters riding around on bikes inside the facility, clearly not moving in or out of a unit, maybe they live in one?? Kind sketchy. Also the doors leading to the interior units are NEVER locked. In facts, they are usually propped open.I’m also pretty sure my unit got broken into once. Nothing was missing but boxes were opened up and items left on the ground that I didn’t leave there. Cockroaches and spiders EVERYWHERE and I am now unpacking some boxes and there are mouse droppings in a few of my boxes.The only reason this is a 2 star and not a 1 is because I moved out of my unit about 3 hours too late and they charged me a full month’s rent. Obviously, I complained and they gave me the number of the manager who I called, and he kindly reversed the charge. Most storage places I have used in the past will prorate.

I am a loyal Public Storage customer for more than 2 decades. I have used their locations in almost every city in S. Florida. This location was clean and very accommodating to my needs. Prenella was courteous, professional and flexible. She was friendly and personable and very efficient. I left satisfied knowing that my property is in good hands and my loyalty is appreciated here. Natasha was also very friendly and efficient. These ladies have great personalities and know their business. I will highly recommend this location to anyone who is looking for a safe, clean and convenient place to store their property.

This place is horrible. Worst customer service on earth. I had a burnt out light bulb and they didnt have a replacement, so i had to use my iphone light to see inside my unit. The employees are always rude and in a bad mood. Other customers seem to be conducting business on the premises, letting everyone in the gated areas. Avoid if possible.

Everybody is so helpful especially thanks to Diana I got a quick and reliable service. Prices are very reasonable. Diana was very helpful to find the suitable match for my storage needs.

I just want to say that one person from pp. S tellss me one thing and transfer me to the district managers phoneline who then proceeds to telme that this particular P. S. Hasa security sysrtem monitored closely by rhe police and no variation on hours is possible. Just got out of hospital with a move date imposed restricked hours i can work due to medications and limited work hours for myself Jacob want to tell me basisally if i time it right with a little bit of planning i would beable to work now and why suggest something? Did i dial 1800 ask jacob? No i dial for the district manage and asked for a couple hours for a couple nights or qeven 1 nightto get things done. I was under the impression it was based on a case by case situation up to the district mgrs discretion. Well thanks Jacob what a great altunative plan designer7

Management is horrible! Hire people to help customers, 2hrs to get let down, 2hrs that I will never get back. Then when I requested a manager, she came and stated that she is off and not supposed to b here, wow! But u left an agent at the counter by himself with a line of people in need of service 🙄 never again will I got to this location

Their suggestions and solutions are always appeasing!My need to say Thank You!*Even as a Gold Elite Member of The Marriott Bonvoy; some of the Customers Services Associates from the Marriott Bonvoy just don’t come close to both Jacob’s and Diana’s competency and efficiency! They certainly have a lot to learn from them.

They threatened to call the police on us at 9:01! Why are yall closing up at 9pm? We pay for the full month, so that should mean unlimited access to personal belongings. I want a refund in the amount of 33% because I am not allowed in for 33% of the day! The items fit in the unit, only reason they are getting 2 stars.

After 4 years storing my personal items here, I have to say it was bitter sweet when I closed out the unit on Saturday, Nov. 23rd. From the gracious and cheerful manager Diana to her incredible, professional staff Natasha, Jasmine, and Sierra to name a few, all were always there to serve you with a smile and a warm welcome. I was always kept informed of any change or enhancement or how to proceed to protect my personal items when a hurricane approached. Safety of our personal items comes first here. The grounds are always kept clean and the buildings maintained well. I cant say enough good things about this place and its staff. I will miss seeing them and wish them and their families the best. Thank you!!

Two of 3 gate entrances are not working. (September 2020) They wont let you use the restroom and that is a very serious issue when you are there for hours unloading a moving van. They only allow 1 person at a time inside the office building, even though there is enough space to be 10 feet apart at the three check-in counters.

I believe it was their district manager that called me because I was upset listen to what I had to say and gave me a credit on my account for 3 months to offset the rate increase that was very nice of them

Not veteran-friendly very rude... claims to be compliant with covid-19 state laws online(CEOs words not mine) but nowhere in the building or the door does it say that their policy is only one person in the building at a time.... take your stuff and business elsewhere...

I came to the office today to look at a storage unit and to get some information about renting with public storage. The property and office was very clean the staff was so nice and generous. Diana and Sierra has great customer service. I would recommend this property.
