Its okay. Its a small place, both store and range wise. I dont really have anything negative to say about the place, but its a better local place to shoot than to browse a selection.*update* while the selections are limited, the staff is much more friendly and is a better place to go to shoot whatever you have just about. Here its quality over quantity unlike some other places within an hour driving distance

With the closure of Knox Gun Range, I found myself in need of a new place to shoot. S.E.T filled that gap. I have shot at franchise ranges in the area and never felt like they took safety as seriously as the smaller local ranges. S.E.T fits the safety bill and its local too. Their range is small in lanes but nice in features and cleanliness. I will be back and be bringing others.

Honestly not the worst Gunstore/range but that’s not saying much... they want your all your personal information up front.the staff were friendly enough but many items are over priced and don’t bother buying ammo here$47 for 50 rnds of 9mm...Range price is decent the range itself is sub par (15meters or so)but a nice computerized target sender and of course no rapid firing or drawing from holsters so if your looking to actually practice/train, this one is a pass

If your looking for a place to spend time with the family and throw some hot lead, this is the place. Steve and the rest of the staff are very helpful, friendly and professional. This is my go to place to shoot guns regardless the weather.

Fantastic service and decent selection. Steve and the rest of the staff here are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They can help with both gunsmithing service as well as sales and transfers. They also have excellent training staff. The range is very clean and I have never had any issues with it, the target system is very easy to use. If you need a range/shop and youre in Oak Ridge this is the place to go.

The customer service is outstanding. Im not a fan of guns, but my husband felt I needed one selling real estate. Jennifer took me under her wings and showed me everything,with so much respect; walked me through everything and stood by my side as I learned to shoot. I really dont think I could have gotten my permit and done this without her help and the support of everyone there. I am very grateful for your care, teaching and support. Side note: They also have awesome carry purses 😊

I had a visit here and it was amazing. The staff were very informative and I felt like I knew what I was doing when I actually stepped foot on the range. They have a variety of targets to choose from also guns too. It was my very first time shooting a gun so getting the right information was very important to me. It a not to expensive and they have a option of having a membership with the range. Overall I had a good time and will be visiting again. They offer gun permit class for a low fee and it’s the one you need to have in order to get your gun license.

Awesome Range. Small, 5 lanes, but still awesome !Never been to a range with a touch screen monitor which controls your target. Simply enter a number click ENTER and it will move your target to specified range.$15 per lane per person.Check it out. This might become your new shooting Range :)

Nice store. Range is a little small, 5 lanes. Computer run target system takes the guess work out of ranging. Rated for up to 308 or 7.62 NATO allows for optics zeroing on rifles. Pleasant staff and fair prices make this a range I will revisit.

Just bought my first fire arm, had it transferred to Set, picked it up with no problems. A very quick and enjoyable transaction. Went back the next to shoot some rounds. They were very helpful and the whole experience great. 👍 👍 👍 👍

Love this place. They are close and convenient and their hours work great with my schedule since I work the graveyard shift. Had a rifle scoped and sighted in. Extremely happy with all their services so far. Keep up the great work guys.

Range prices seem reasonable and the range is nice.But, I took my rifle there to get work done and was told the barrel would be threaded and that theyd have to crown it as well. The price was to be $55.00 and itd take 3-4 weeks. A couple months later it was finally done and the price was $100.00. They said the extra was for crowning the barrel. They did not contact me to authorize any price increase. I just paid and left. Will not go back and cant recommend them.Also, my wife and took the concealed carry class there. Im a former soldier and police officer and I can tell you for certain to go elsewhere. Some of the things said in that class, if listened to and emulated, will put your family in serious danger.

Friendly staff and knowledgeable. I go there almost weekly to use the range. Ive purchased 1 handgun at a VERY reasonable price and will always check here first for future purchases. I also took my CCW permit class here.

Went in to look for a good hunting rifle. Left with a great 30-30 Marlin Lever Action for a great price. Everyone there was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely worth the drive!

Great service and best selection in West Knoxville. Took my handgun carry permit class at this location, and the instructor was great. I also use them for FFL transfers.

Had a weapon that I had bought out of state transferred in here. Very smooth and professional.

Took the second part of a gun safety class here and in addition to the fee to use the range, they charged me an additional $5 per bullet the was shot above the line Ive never heard of a shooting range doing that, they were just trying to get more money out of their customers. Did not even warn me before hand. Staff was sarcastic and rude. I wont be back and I would not recommend this place, there are definitely better shooting ranges around Knoxville area.

Great place to go shoot. Took my wife there and we really friendly. As a person that has shot on many indoor ranges this is the first one that they didnt treat you like you were stupid. Also the showed you the equipment and then left you alone. Great plus is the air circulator that they have running while you shoot. No fumes or carbon dust at all.

It was good teaching from a great instructor now I have the ability to protect my Family.

I have bought ammo, reloading supplies, targets, and have used their range quite often. I have a farm, so when I go shoot, I tend to like to go to my own property. Although, it is nice to have an indoor place to shoot if the weather decides to throw a fit because Tennessee weather loves to do that. The range is also useful for sighting in my guns. The limit for cartridges is 30 caliber bullets so I have been able to shoot my Savage Super Sporter .30-06 and my SKS. The Staff are very friendly and genuinely are happy to help out with questions, advice, and so on. I highly recommend going to this store because you will not be disappointed.On a side note, the range is state of the art with five lanes. There are touch screen devices that control the targets, and if I recall you can go from 0-70 feet. As long as you follow the rules and use common sense, you will have a great time shooting here!-Steven

Richard and his crew strive for customer satisfaction. I took my carry class here, bought a Glock and AR lower. I like that they extend a veterans discount to past and present vets. My new Truglo front sight failed and they replaced it, no charge, no questions. Always friendly with good advice and good prices. I use their range often too. Two thumbs up.

Affordable rentals and very helpful staff. Could use an extra chair behind the lanes if they get very busy, but theres usually a place to sit if youre sharing a lane with your friends.

This place was great. So Fridays is DATE night 2 people 1 lane $20.00. Ladies shoot free on Sunday.

I dont know much, but I know be prepared to pay through the nose if what you are looking for is a little hard to find. Called wanting a new current manufacture carbine that is recently in short supply but sells for about $350, they offered to sell me a used one for $600. Know your prices before you shop here!

Friendly staff, but setup for the store is rediculous. One person to handle ALL transactions, wether it be the range, selling or buying .not a huge selection on firearms nor accessories. Prices are all over the place and at times absolutely rediculous. Did some trading with them with two USED guns. Come to find out that one that I traded, their asking price was 3 times what I paid for it new, but now as a used gun. Wasnt able to get into the range, but its a small range with alot of flow, so all things considered, I think the range is their real money maker. If they offered more on the sales side of the house, I think it would be a great thing. Biggest perks so far are the range and the classes.

Have been in several times since they opened, and have never left pissed, would like to buy more there but at the price of new guns your going to save a buck where you can, I get most of my stuff through private trading, but I do buy ammo there and use the range, I would like to see a cheaper range rate for maybe 20mins or 1/2 hr, like maybe $6 or $8 as I do my own smith work and just want to test or sight in a gun, and that dont take longer than a few mins, but thats not a big deal I know they have to make a living, and they have helped me out before, would definitely rec to others

Over priced and poor customer serves my two experiences with SET have bin met with very unprofessional and rude serves as well as a used rifle they were selling i was interested in priced at 750$ the same rifle new at walmart was 499$ this is unacceptable price mark up there are few gun stores in the area and they seem to take advantage of this fact
