Store pickup was the worst experience ever. Half my items were out of stock. Too lazy to substitute. My total order amount was more than original and with 10 less items! Kroger pickup is false advertising and bait and switch.AlsoThe store always has long lines. Most of the time only one self checkout is open. Maybe 1 or two registers with lines spanning into the aisles. Can’t find workers? Maybe you should pay your employees more? Maybe it’s how they are being treated. I will stick to food city.
The clicklist employee shoppers are rude. They are in a hurry, and they are pushy, as though they are the only people trying to find items on the sales floor.
I have plenty of time to post this review due to standing in the only line that is not a self checkout. I have a full cart that does not do well in the do your own work line, so I have to wait with the long line of other people who would rather not pay full price to check themselves out. With this mind set, we should help unload the truck, stock the shelves and then it would be fitting that we do our own check out. I am not against the self checkouts, but it cant be the main focus of the customer service experience. More full service lanes are needed.
Lines are long and they dont even bother opening more of the self checkout lanes. Also the manager of this store is incompetent and needs to be aware that when people get online orders, the people in Clicklist do NOT know how to properly bag items. We ended up getting 1 single banana instead of the bunch we ordered. Their should have been about 6 or 7 of them. Its pretty sad when your employees dont know how to count.
Great place they have almost anything you would want stored is very clean
Dont buy gift cards or phone cards here youll get double dipped for taxes the only place I know that charges taxes on these knowing youll be paying taxes to use them.... I payed $12 taxes on a sixty dollar card nearly $6 when I purchased another six when I used it nice scam.
Have been standing in line for 20 minutes because they won’t open more check out lanes. I even called to ask them to open more, and was given that line about a worker shortage. That’s a cop out. They’ve been doing this since they opened. Sick and tired of people asking for more money for doing less and less work.
Krogers in OakRidge, TN is an amazing store to walk through, it offers so much more than the one we have in Roane County! It has a line of all products, from clothing to shoes. To me its like walking into a Target store. I myself look forward to a very clean store and fresh foods that havent gone bad. I am pleased with Krogers stores for they serve the best produce and fresh meats with reasonable prices, even as the economic has risen to the sky. At least I know Ive bought from a store that my food wont rot before getting to eat it! Thanks Kroger for serving me!
Plus side = Plenty of electric carts! Medium = Gotta watch the pricing, Bad = Some employees stand and yak with other employees and some dont want to be bothered with you. Also water refill station outside always out of order, you all need to get it fixed, change companies or direct them to Walmart in shame!
The market has an excellent interior, selection, environment, and location. Many everyday products like food, medicine, and entertainment are found here, and the entire store is very sanitary, orderly, neat, and organized. Staff are very kind and helpful when you need help with finding a product, working the self-checkout, etc. It will always be a store that will be first to come to mind when I need an appliance or food item.
Bill in the floral department did a great job for our flowers for small wedding ceremony in November this year. He truly is talented with what he does. Thank you so much for making this day even more special!!!
Overall I have always had a great experience with this store. I can see where the workers could use some better coaching however everything else about the store is great!
Saturday morning and only one checkout lane cashier! This is happening way to many times. Last time shopping at Kroger Oak Ridge!
If you’re using curbside pickup, be sure to confirm all the items you’re being charged for are present before you leave. I got home and found all the refrigerated items I was being charged for were missing and I tried to go back to get them. The experience was awful. As a former manager and an infantry vet, I never blame the grunts. Those team members deserve better coaching. It’s sad because I used to love King Soopers/Kroger.
Horrible customer service every visit. Employees wont help and even briskly walk away to avoid customer questions. This morning at 8:30am there was only 1 register open, self checkouts closed or not taking credit/debit cards, with 4 employees just standing around with cell phones at register. Only saving grace was efficient pharmacy staff but they would not ring up my single small grocery item with my prescriptions.
Poor...poor customer service here at this location. The store closes at 9P we arrived at 8:12P and went straight to the deli only to be greeted by an employee stating oh weve started closing the deli at 8P then nothing else and walked away! Ive been shopping at Krogers for years. Shopped in Mississippi and Texas. Ill think twice when having other opinions especially Publix (awesome customer service to!) When we come here for camping and riding we will shop somewhere else!
Nice store, HOWEVER, approx. 1/3 of the customers were not wearing masks. This is not a safe and secure store to shop.
One of the better krogers in the area. Good sale items and better stuff in the clearance sections than other stores.. The lay out is weird though. Very spread out. Like the lay out of the Emory store better. Easier to get in and out there as well.
Learn how to staff your store. Why do you have 8 isles an only 1 or 2 open? Theres a line 20 people long to check out
Constantly out of everything. Usually can only get 1/2 of my list. 3 years and it hasnt gotten any better. But they have time to reorganize the entire store every 4 months.
Excellent variety of items, both food and non- food products. Good service. Someone will help you if you ask.
Well organized with helpful staff.
I have created ten online pick up orders over the last three months. Most orders are a great experience all-around but the last two, not so much the same.Fewer item are unavailable, substitutes allowed but they are unfilled. Then poor quality produce on two trips.(Wishing that couldve/ shouldve been unfilled)And a couple of items not even bagged, resting loosely in the create. The associate even commented about that......I can give thanks to the covid for a shortage in groceries and causing my pantry to look like its on a diet. And thank you kroger for sharing the over priced produce that looked sick.Website and app are user friendly.Fast turn around time on pick up window.Prompt service time upon arrival.Friendly associates.I have scaled back on shopping in store but Kroger- Oak Ridge, is always clean and busy. And its so BIG, I could spend half the day there walking around and shopping! For all my positive trips to Kroger verse the last two, I cant score Kroger under four stars.
First I understand this is a crazy time! However Kroger pickup has been a nightmare! We waited 45 mins for our first order and over an hour for our second order even when we were the only car there in the pickup lot on 4/17/20 $15 off our bill is not enough for the huge inconvenience! Would not recommend pickup from this location to anyone!!!
Tried to get hired there but there background checks took forever to get to me, then I had to get my state ID and then they said they couldnt hire me, Just a tip for anyone trying to work there, their systems containing your SSNs has been hacked before, just so you know.
Im always happy with my visit to Krogers. They are one of my favorite stores for my groceries or hygiene or even clothing needs or wants. I enjoy the prices and the wide variety of select items that are available.
Just got my 2nd vaccination dose.
A very large and clean Kroger location. If you shop Kroger/Fred Meyer you know the drill here! A very large combined retail store offering a deli, produce, groceries, cosmetics, general merchandise, basically a better and nicer version of a Walmart Superstore. I really enjoy the fact they offer a good selection of organic and Natural Foods products and their prices are always fair to good.I have shopped at Kroger/Fred Meyers for at least 15 years and have always been satisfied, this location cements my feelings about the shopping experience.
Someone at Kroger has decided receipts are a thing of the past. Which means...you get to guess how much your bill was when you pickup groceries now. And if you ask for one, you get told go print it yourself, or go inside and wait in line - then have the not so pleasant CSRs at the front desk print one for you on about 12 pages of full size paper. Nice. Also, all the Kroger brand Health and Beauty items being replaced by lower quality, higher price Walgreens items just SUCKS.
They are out of stock constantly. Walmart is a better grocery store than an actual grocery store and that is sad.
This store has a good variety of organic and international grocery items. I love the fresh meat and produce sections - they are always well stocked and attractive. Its always busy and crowded, though, so its best to go early.
They dont carry purses, belts,, jewelry, or wallets like they use to :(
Great store. Have almost everything. From food, to baby needs, to clothes and shoes for everyone. Fresh made sushi is very good. Better than a couple restaurants Ive been to. Great selection of fruits, vegetables, and herbs.
Great selection of wholesome and healthy foods, including organic and international specialty items. Clean store, professional staff. Prices are slightly high on some items but its worth it for the premium service. There are good specials if you sign up for a free Kroger Plus card
This Kroger has EVERYTHING. Food, clothing, specialty, even a jewelry store inside! I wouldve given 5 stars, but I really do not like the automated lanes. More & more the lines get longer when cashiers are replaced. At all Kroger, not just this one.
Great selection clean store and employees are always friendly and helpful
I started using Kroger to try & save time & lessen the hardship on myself. When I started using Kroger it was smaller than W.M. Kroger has added so much more than food its almost as difficult as going to WM. Ive started using Kroger pharmacy also. Love the pharmacy hours & everyone is so nice. Very pleased so far with service & friendly customer service. Everyone that works at Kroger in Oak Ridge is very helpful. If theres something you need theyll find it. Im disabled & have a lot of difficulty walking & getting about. The only time I do go out is if I have an apt. So shopping here is a less stressful.
I love the variety of organic products, juice that is not from concentrate, cage free organic eggs, and gluten-free / organic food options. The store is clean, and the sales people are caring and helpful. They always have kind words for my daughter. One associate was comforting customers with anxiety over Irma and allowed me to pray with them in the store. God is good and I am grateful He provides such a nice grocery store to shop at, and I am sure they are one of His blessings to our neighborhood.
I WAS RUSHING BUT FOUND SOME ITEMS A BIT HIGHER. WALMART IS CLOSER TO MY HOME BUT I PREFER KROGER FOR THEIR LOWER PRICES& SELECTIONS. OVERALL THE TRIP WAS WORTH MY TIME.😄
I shop here on a very regular basis, the prices are fair. they usually have a well stocked produce section. a good variety of other grocery fair also. I dont feel crowded or rushed to do my shopping when I go here. the employees usually have a friendly smile on their face and this makes me feel comfortable to shop here. I recommend this place for your grocery shopping needs
I love this store. I live 70 miles away but talk about it anytime that I can. The store looks like it is changing to warehouse style with bulk foods. The store is a mess that is why they rated less than 5.9 I go there for the perimeter departments. I hope they dont change too much.
Great grocery store. Nicest employees, especially Dan in Self-Check. And Alison in Fred Meyer Jewelers, located in the store. Shes wonderful!
Today, the store was midstream in rearranging the store. Things werent where they normally wouldve been ; some items totally gone altogether. Feels much like a big corporate big box store. Only like the fresh produce, cheese, meat counters. Otherwise, not impressed anymore with Kroger marketplace.
Many employees were not wearing masks. This puts shoppers at risk and sets a poor example, Wearing a mask around your chin or neck does not count!
Large store; markdowns are good; not as much variety as youd think being so large, just a lot of the same brands. Self registers still pretty buggy and attendant is not always nearby.
The new Kroger is a vast improvement over the old one. My only concern is that there Ill Arrangements leaves to a bit to be desired, as Things Are release logically placed near each other like I feel they should be. The selection has improved greatly however, which to me more than makes up for the issue.
Tons of customers not wearing masks. Kroger is clearly not enforcing mask requirements. Not to mention half the people that are wearing them are doing it wrong. Kroger in general has been bad since the pandemic started but the Oak Ridge one is particularly bad.
Vary clean, lots of things to pick from more than any krogers I have been in before kinda like a super wall mart, hard to find rest rooms and mens was small for such a large place had a line and did not seam to be enough people in store right then, to have a line in bath room, from a plumber point of view, poorly planed for. A store this nice.
Kroger is a great place to shop, grab lunch or a great cup of coffee. Always hard workers giving friendly service. You can always count on great savings and friendly smiles.
Its a lot nicer than any other one Ive been to. They have a bigger variety at awesome prices. Next time Im in the area I definitely plan on making another stop there.
Nicest Kroger I have ever seen.
Just really like Kroger great store you can find stuff easy
Everyone always help full. Would like to get my coupons in mail. Did not get like I always do. You have specials where you have to buy 4 or 5 at once. For familys that is great but does not help seniors. We cannot use that much. My name is Carol Hudson. Most every one is kind.
Its a huge store with a wide variety of items, from wines to fruits to snacks and sodas to clothes to cosmetics and even a mini-clinic and a jewelry store! Very well maintained and the staff are very helpful! Cant seem to find a belt in their clothes section for the life of me, though. Always a return customer! Also, they have an excellent gas rewards program! ATMs, Coinstar, Western Union, and a mini restaurant are also services they offer!
I found everything in a timely manner and was pleased with my shopping experience. Im so happy to fond nutty nuggets again. Also glad to find organic natural peanut butter for an affordable price. Thank you Kroger.
Normally have all the products I use. Clean store. Produce is very good and fresh. Private selection products are good. Employee are helpful and friendly.
Great place, and close, but seems to sometimes have restock issues. Click list is available here, so you can just drive up and get your groceries. Any substitutions they always charge in your favor.
Overall it was pretty good here, great selection & diversity in food & products. Wasnt that impressed by the self checkout manager, he didnt come when I accidentally hit I cant find my item button & alerted him. Instead he was talking to his Kroger pals.
We do most of our grocery shopping at the Kroger Marketplace in Oak Ridge. Great selection, great prices and great service, plus those gasoline points! Most because there are a few items they dont and a few where the prices are better at Costco or Walmart.
Very convenient! Has everything food! Extremely nice workers! Better than Walmart
I was just here to pick up my clicklist order and Cody was extremely friendly and helpful on the phone! It sincerely brightened my day! 🌻🌼
If they dont have what Im looking for, they will work with me to make sure its in Stock. The employees there are amazing. Samantha up front is the sweetest.
This Kroger is huge they had a lot of things. I really liked it but I dont live in oak ridge. I live about 25 minutes away so I wont be shopping there all the time but it was really very nice!!
Kroger employees do not take the COVID-19 guidance from CDC seriously. My checkout attendant was wearing his mask on his chin (not covering nose and mouth). During my visit I walked by eight (8) stock personnel on isles that wore no mask at all. Very disappointed in Kroger managements obvious lack of COVID-19 protocol training and/or monitoring compliance.
I really enjoyed my first time shopping at this store. They definitely have a wide variety of food, drinks, n miscellaneous other items to. They even have a few sections for beer n wine to.
Great store. Clean and very friendly and helpful employees. Have never seen any staff member that was not smiling
The deli was really slow at making my sandwich. It took over 10 minutes. Apparently the pricing machine malfunctioned and the server had great difficulty putting on gloves. Apparently too small and easily torn. Sandwich was delicious. Service very slow.
Easy parking. Good store layout. Checkout takes a little time unless you want to use self checkout.
Stuff is easy to find, deals are great. If youre looking to buy in bulk during the shut down, this is the place to go. Theyre having crazy sales on good nonperishables.
This Kroger supercenter is one of the best that I have been in. This location has a large medical clinic, a large Meyers jewelry store and a bank. This Kroger has all the food stations as well, such as olives wings nuts sandwiches spreads and Cafe. Theres a large seafood section bakery breads and winery!
What stars? Rating - not very good!!! Didnt have everything I needed, once again. Not much selection in 9 lives cat food. Low on litter as well. Wanted Depends briefs (with belts) and extra absorbent. Not pint size orange juice. Use to be able to get everything I needed. This doesnt seem to be true anymore. Guess I need to go to Wal-Mart. Dont like to have to go to several grocery stores.
Great deals with the app! They dont always ring up correctly but the employees are helpful and take care of any issues in a friendly and understanding manner.
Huge variety of everything and super clean! In Iine visit, I had fresh sushi for lunch, shopped for groceries AND clothing, and did my banking...all in one store! Awesome place!
Its an amazing store..!! They have a wide variety of foods and they even sell clothes. Helpful staff too.
Decent place to get groceries. Large selection at reasonable prices. They also sell gas at a good price. It is a Super Kroger so they sell other stuff like home furnishings and shoes and clothing. Overall the store is a bit big for my tastes but as mentioned they do carry a wide selection and I prefer getting stuff here than Walmart so I cant complain. This Kroger has a decent grab and go food / deli as well, although that department does not seem well staffed and at least once was served by someone who didnt actually work there and thus was not completely familiar with the processes.
Im from out of town and made a quick stop here while visiting family. Nice big clean store and a good beer selection!
Very large store, with a great selection. Organized and clean. Most of the staff is great, but some of the employees have at times acted unprofessional when I was in there. They were too busy talking about trying to hook up with the girls they work with than to even notice me trying to pay. Their conversations were not appropriate to be having in front of customers or children.
Kroger lunch meals have incredible value for the miney. Shopping options are great. Big store. Wide aisles.
This is a nice clean store. The employees Ive dealt with were helpful and polite. The prices are just rather high. You need to collect coupons to shop here.
I visited the little clinic and they treated me with respect and care. Dr. Gram was very concerned and understanding. If ever the need raises again I will go back to the little clinic.
I was in oak ridge krogers Sunday morning. I have to use electric buggy cause my knees wont support me that long. any way I had about 5 or 6 items in buggy. and it ran out of power. there was a boy putting up stock. He came over to see if he could help. I asked him to help me get it back. He said sit down and Ill go get one. He brought one back and gave to me and he pushed the bad one to charge. Im sorry I didnt get a chance to thank him. he was in paper towel aisle. THANKS.
Huge location, full selection in all departments, has a cheese stand and sushi stand. Prices on certain items such as meat are not as competitive as they were a few years ago. Pharmacy gets things done quicker than they estimate. Wine selection is quite decent for a grocery store. They also have a large section of household goods, and even some clothes, which seems strange. The isle arrangement can be a little confusing with how large this store is. Conveniently, they have 2 sizes of carts. Staff is always polite & helpful, in all departments.
I love this Kroger. It has everything, its always clean, the workers there are really helpful and knowledgeable. Everytime we are in town this is the only store I go to, because they have everything I need!
If you cant find it here it may not exist. Great selection, super friendly staff, and much quicker checkouts than any Walmart I have ever been to. The only gripe I could levy is that the meat prices are in keeping with everywhere else in the area (meat prices at Kroger in Oak Ridge couldnt be beat in their old location.)
Great place to get anything grocery! They have anything you could imagine and they usually run great sales! A very clean environment also!
Local resident, shops here often. Great prices and nice bonus with fuel points. Friendly staff and clean facility. Keep it up!
Very spacey. Very luxurious feeling. Easy to find stuff even on first visit. Will come back
I LOVE KROGER! I love the Marketplace and so glad our old Kroger expanded into this well-kept place. Always friendly staff and love shopping there.
Found everything I was looking for. Wonderful fresh produce. Was asked 3 times if someone could help me!
In and out in only 12 min at 1:30pm today! And thats after looping half way around store hitting 7 sections and final purchase of $32-35 in groceries for only $21+ w tax and out the door!! Anyone who knows me knows that makes me very happy camper 😛.However I do wish Kroger would sign up to take electronic coupons for tobacco products! Had to make separate stop 😖. But still worth 5 stars!
Great place to go and shop. Lots to select from and great food from the Deli department.
Clean environment. Friendly service. Lots of great foods in the deli area and an endless supply of home decor. Love this place.
Store is usually clean. Fish and meat section of the store do not smell. I take that as a good sign. Satisfied...o... Friendly staff as well
