Will be waiting forever for meds. Tried to get my sons meds canceled here to switch to another Walgreens near me. They refused over 4 times when I called the lady who answered had a big attitude about it. If you’re having a bad day don’t take it out on others….

Maybe I went at a bad time but, Ive never seen a Walgreens so disorganized. The pharmacy area was overcrowded with people waiting to get their medications and/or Covid shots. There were chairs lining the cosmetics aisle for people to sit to be observed after their shot. The techs were literally yelling patients personal information for everyone to hear, including the last names of everyone present to get a vaccine. By the time we left (without using their services), I knew half of Oak Ridges medical conditions.

Very unhappy with the way almost everyone in the pharmacy acted. The young blonde-headed girl is notorious for being unfriendly.Policies are made that do not match the insurance companies policies nor what the DEA states. My physician told me that and I also researched it.They also would only order a certain amount of medication. When it was sold we wont have any until next week. This happened several times. So when you dont like something you find something/somewhere else. They are no longer my pharmacy.

Nice clean store. Clerks are always very nice in the evenings/very early mornings when I go. Very helpful. Always knows where Everything is however if someone doesnt know they always come out from behind the counter to assist you in looking for the item. Has health standards in place for covid19. Are requesting that masks be worn inside the store. Public restroom to customers still available.

The only thing good about it is its a 24 hr pharmacy so if you have to go to the ER in the middle of the night and need a prescription filled its open. Otherwise I wouldnt go there at all.

Im a big fan of walgreens. My review is only pertinent to the actual store because i havent filled a prescription in many years and never use the pharmacy section of walgreens. The store itself is spacious. There are so many aisles of various products and plenty of space for multiple people to be crowding an aisle. The shelves are typically always stocked well and only a time or two have they ever been out of stock on an item i went in to look for (and both times it was a big on sale item). The store is always tidy and clean. I hear complaints of high prices and too expensive but i find some of my best deals at walgreens. If you know how to maximize your rewards then you can find a lot of steals. I love the digital coupons which stack with sale items. I love to see how much i can get for as little as possible...i surprise myself even sometimes. The employees are friendly and have been able to help me whenecer needed. Its a great store. I love to shop so i love any place with a good selection of products and offers coupons and a chance to earn store rewards.

I saw the nurse practitioner, Stacy, at the healthcare clinic. She was a great example of service with a smile! 😊 I have never had a problem with the pharmacy at this location, and I use the healthcare clinic anytime I get the general sick that is going around. The hours are super convenient and it sure beats going and waiting forever to be seen at my PCP. I also know I can get my prescriptions here any time of day or night, and I appreciate that flexibility.

The old lady in the pharmacy is a judgemental b****. Ive been on the same meds for type 1 diabetes for 5 yrs and the hateful hag wants to judge. Made the management very aware of her. I think a few of these pharmacy techs need a little more training of chronic diseases. My husband and I stopped going there I got my meds for diabetes filled and copd and him his blood pressure meds. Not worth the hassle. Im ashamed of Walgreens for hiring ppl like this. You lost a long standing customer.Edit...I see another lady had the same problem. I am to young. Ive had diabetes since 12 and copd since 34. I had sepsis last year from a foot surgery and I to was treated bad from this pharmacy. My moms a nurse THIS IS NOT THEIR JOB. ITS NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS. If anyone else has issues file a complaint with the state of TN. Im sure they wanna know whats going on.

*** edit *** I spoke with Meredith, the pharmacy manager today, she was outstanding and understanding! She assured me this isn’t Wallgreens’s standard of care and I truly appreciate her taking the time to hear me out, and taking my concerns seriously. I have loved every experience at this Wallgreens up until this last encounter. I will continue to use them as my primary pharmacy. Thank you all for taking the time to address this issue! ♥️***To the lady pharmacist who had the question for me as to why I need pain medications I’d like to give you a full answer here as I was near passing out due to pain in your line today. You see, I was born with a few conditions one is called Ehlers-Danlos, it’s a connective tissue disorder so all of my joints dislocate at the slightest touch, walking proves to be difficult when your knees, ankles, and hip dislocate. I also have osteogenesis imperfecta or brittle bone disease as it is more commonly known. So not only do I dislocate I break my bones rather easily as well. I also have something called Chiari malformation that means my brain is slipping out of my skull and puts an ungodly amount of pain in my neck and head. I also have a pars defect so basically I was born with a broken back. I’ve had one hip replacement done and there was complications after surgery and I need another hip replacement on both hips. My knees will soon need to be replaced as well. But my latest painful issue I have, is diverticulitis, thanks to the Ehlers-Danlos my organs are at risk for perforation and infections. I also have a bone spur on my C5 and instability in my spine, any day I can become paralyzed due to moving wrong. So when you came over so I could ask my question and you so pompously asked me WHY I NEEDED IT, this my lady pharmacist is why. The long acting pain medications haven’t been controlling my pain as well as my doctors would like so the chose a short acting medication to see if I can get relief, if I don’t I will be taking an opioid break to rebuild my tolerance. I understand I’m young, I understand most days I don’t look sick, but I can assure you I am sicker than I let on. I try my best to not let my conditions control me, and I have chosen to not take opioids until recently because I would like to have a life like other 33 year olds do.

My son came in having an allergic reaction to penicillian which we all know can be fatal. He asked the pharmasist to help him find benedryl. He just pointed to an aisle. Did not bother to walk him to the medicine he needed to breathe. I had to call to get him some help. My son could have went into shock because the pharmasist was too lazy to come out behind the counter and assist this teenager who couldnt speak because his tongue was too swollen from the reaction he was having. Shame on this so called medical provider. Ive seen the new commercials about how the pharmasists are now suppose to be out front but its just a gimmick. My son is OK for now but in 10 minutes or less he could have been dead. My family will never patornize this or any other walgreens again. How callous to treat a nice, clean cut polite young man..I cant imagine how they would have treated someone in distress who may have been unkepmt and unable to communicate. Shame on you Oak Ridge Walgreens
