Its getting to the point all retail auto parts stores are worthless. They only carry their house brands and often dont have the higher end version of that. I prefer NAPA but we dont have one in Oak Ridge.

This parts store should be ashamed of itself!. They do NOT in the slightest care if your car runs or not!.. I stopped in there to have the codes read on my car and upon doing so the store manager told me they couldnt read codes on vehicles because they didnt have the code scanner.. two days later a fellow employee informed me that the truth of the matter was that with the pandemic going on that the store manager just wasnt helping customers with reading codes stored in their vehicles.. bot only that but this particular store manager was so upset by some of his staff allowing customers to read their own codes that he complained to the DM and the DM instructed the store manager to take the special tool home so as to not have to deal with it.. thats NOT what customer service is!..in fact, thats what customer service ISNT!. I feel if thats how much they CARE, or actually and more accurately, dont care, then they should likewise, not care that no one should bother them with buying any of their parts or other merchandise!. The really sad part of this review is this. Prior to this store with this set of experiences other advance auto parts stores arent so bad, its just this one in oak ridge that i would NEVER go to again! Seriously, if your vehicle breaks down on their property your better off letting management know and walking to the autozone down the street than taking the risk of wasting your hard earned money inside the doors of this establishment. And they wont even care that your broke down!

Been very helpful both in getting an emergency battery installed after car died at work and got jump-started successfully to get off site and over to the nearest battery store. Also helped recently with a recurring service engine soon light and gave me advice on replacement costs and seriousness of code. Will keep stopping by

Ordinarily this is a reasonable store. But In the midst of a significant COVID outbreak in TN, the staff in this Advance Auto Parts were not wearing masks, much less establishing an expectation that customers wear masks, or even respecting the personal space of those customers who come in with a mask. After a brief look for the item I sought, when the maskless employee came and stood right by me in the narrow aisle, I left for another autoparts store. The other parts store I went to had some distance-keeping measures installed, and the staff member donned a mask as I came in. If the stores are not willing to take basic precautions in the interest of customers health, or train their employees, I suggest going elsewhere.

Very poor staff, they dont know what they are doing and half the time I was there they couldnt find the led bulbs I needed even with the computer they still couldnt help me. Never will I go back to that store again. If I could I would give no stars.

Need parts great service

I went there to get a punch connector for my hvac hoses to charge a cars hvac system was told it fit my hoses but it only fit automotive hoses. Then ask if they had a hose or anything I could rent and was told no have a good day like they didnt even care. Had to go to another for help.
