The Oak Park Family Dollar is a remarkable store. Oh, it has all the $ store typical problems: staff shortage, stocking problems, etc. But, unlike the other chain stores this store is larger. It carries stuff that the other stores do not carry. The expanded inventories are for every department from food to cat food to cookware.The Oak Park store is spacious. Aisles are well marked. And checkout has a logical set up. They even have lots of grocery carts, which is something that I would rarely say about other $stores.Store is located in the strip mall at the southeast corner of 10 mile and Coolidge.

Still gave good service even though they were in the middle of remodeling the aisles in the store

July 5th store says open at 9am and I walked up here with my daughter to get some things for her and it is 9:46 I am typing this review that no has opened the store yet. Thumbs down whoever is suppose to open this morning don’t feel sorry.

This is no longer family dollar. Its Dollar general. When it was family dollar it was horrible. Dollar General is typically well kept, but Im not a fan of this location.

Angela took care of me and she was very helpful. She was working in between customers and still made sure to keep an eye up front.
