Great place when you need something random quick. It costs a few cents more in my opinion but it’s so convenient I wouldn’t get else where anywhere. This IS a small store. Still great! Great Oak Park location

Dwayne is a scholar and gentlemen. Never been here before and he was prompt to ask me if I needed anything. Very good customer service.

Small location, smallest Ive been to at least. Has most of the basics and even a small produce section. Store was very clean and organized. Workers were cordial when I came to pick up an order.Parking is available via parking structure, free for an hour or less.

This target is so small and sparse. It lacks much of the diversity to make itself a one stop shop but it does adequate with the space. There is only self check out.

It is nice having a local target location because the second nearest one is in Oak Brook. Smaller selection here but good for a minimal target run.

I can’t express the madness I felt when leaving this place!!! It is extremely wrong to have staff that target a person of color in 2021. I felt disrespected and targeted when the lady at self checkout stood right behind me and my boyfriend the whole time just watching us and nobody else at self checkout, mind you we were the only ones of color!!! And she had the privilege to come change the count of our bags and put the amount she wanted and make us pay! I spoke to a manager and I really hope something gets done about this. I’m %100 no Anglo has experience this in this store ! I want that same treatment thank you !

I would like to say that Jerome Kings is a very nice and has such a amazing attitude every time I go into Starbucks and it can be twice a day he is always so friendly and helpful he is so on top of his work and knows he’s customers very well to me that is kudos to him he is fast and on it I truly love my experience every time that he is there he is an asset to Starbucks and truly deserves recognition keep up the great work that you do !!!

Not everyone likes dogs. Some people are afraid of them, others of us are allergic to them. Im not sure at what point dogs were allowed into stores that sell food, but my family and I will not be patronizing this particular Target anymore. Its unsanitary, as well as extremely inconsiderate of customers who may be allergic to or fearful of dogs. IDPH will be notified. SMH.

The customer service was very courteous and helpful and freindly.

I like the small Target in Oak Park. Its never crowded and I can run in and out quickly.

They follow strict CoVid-19 safety guidelines which I like. The store is the smallest Target Ive ever been, but basic needs are available. The closest grocery in my area so Im not complaining

The biggest weakness of this location is the horrible customer service, especially around the self checkout area. I have had way too many uncomfortable and unpleasant experiences at this location as a result.

Maybe the worst stocked Target. Toilet paper pricing has to be highest I have seen anywhere. Not an exaggeration.

I had the terrible experience of being racially profiled at this store - openly and audaciously - which means that it is commonplace here. If you wish to shop in dignity and peace, dare to call them out on it - in the moment, as it happens. Every customer deserves to be treated with respect.

This store is smaller than a regular Target but in a great way. It has: an awesome layout with everything you need, well mannered/professional employees, and a very convenient location.

When I was an employee here, most managers were good, however one manager, Lil, was allowed to be as ableist and discriminatory as she pleased, without ever being disciplined.

Clean store. Great addition to the neighborhood. There were not many local stores within close walking distance to many of the apartments around that sold fresh groceries and more all in one location. This is designed as a neighborhood market, for quick purchases in most cases. For a small format Target store, Im impressed by how much it carries.

Lovely, helpful staff. This is a City Target, however, which means a much smaller store and assortment than you might expect. Decent prices, however. Plus all of Targets house brands in home goods. Worth a visit!

The store manager, Ivan - is wonderful and puts the customer first. My boyfriend and I are new to the area and desperately needed some lamp shades in time for our housewarming party this week. He spent the time searching online with me and was very patient as I knew nothing about the fit or look that I had wanted. They shipped in one day’s time and look great... thank you!

I was so excited to see that my new apartment would be so close to a Target. My excitement was shattered the minute I entered, as I quickly realized it was one of thier horrific new concept stores where nothing you actually want is stocked and nothing is intuitively shelved together. Will never go back, I cant handle the frustration of hunting down the end cap for handsoap only to see one single scent, the worst scent, in the brand I like. Nope.

Think of this location as a corner store. It will have most quick things, but since its a pretty small location the selections and availability of things are limited.

Its so tiny. Came in for pet food and they hardly had a selection. Small selection for everything. Ended up walking out empty handed.

For a Target Store this size its very impressive. You will find everything a big target has but in small quantities and less brands. Its conveniently located and gives free parking for 1hr.

I had an incredible customer service experience at this store. There was a mixup of which I was at fault but they worked with me when they absolutely were not obligated to. It ended up saving me $100. The entire staff was super helpful and pleasant. High fives all around for the new Oak Park Target!!

Only awesome experiences here! The staff are so friendly and kind and approachable :) The Target manager felt bad for having my sister and I wait in line at the Starbucks so he gave us both our drinks for free! Great location and great staff - keep it up!!

It kind of a small store overall I like the store. Everything is organized and the staff is friendly. Security is at the front door to make sure that the customers are safe and will assist you as well if needed.

This is a surprisingly small target, and I worried that it would be difficult to find everything I needed or even get my cart through the aisles. Even with a huge shopping list I was actually able to find almost everything I needed, and I wasn’t overwhelmed by the size!

Ive had good multiple experiences with this Target location as the staff are knowledgeable and friendly.The reason for this lower rating is because an inaccuracy happened. I do intend to continue shopping here once the below inaccuracy has been resolved. At a recent visit to the Oak Park Target location an inaccuracy occurred and I intend to talk with the store manager Ivan Bahena. Ive already completed the online survey for Target from this store experience.Here are the details from this visit.12/24/17 At 1:18 p.m. bought one blouse and one legging at Target in Oak Park, IL. At 4:02 p.m. the same afternoon I returned to the same Target to return the one legging and exchange the small blouse for a medium blouse.Now the inaccuracy, the cashier refunded two leggings (when I only had purchased one legging and was returning one legging). The legging cost $14.99. I was also trying to exchange the small blouse for a medium blouse and the blouse was $19.99). The cashier would not exchange the small blouse but required me to give her the one legging and the small blouse but refunding me for two leggings.When the cashier handed me the return receipt which read I was returning two leggings I said, “no it was one legging for $14.99 and a small blouse costing $19.99”. I questioned the cashier again and she still did not accurately refund my money.Instead of exchanging my small blouse for a medium blouse which I clearly stated I wanted to do she required me to pay another $19.99.I was unable to stay any longer as this was Christmas Eve.Update on my post, I returned a few weeks later and met with the store manager Ivan. I showed him the post from 12/24/17 and also their receipts. He refunded the correct amount to me plus gave me a $10 gift certificate. My trust in this location is restored again and have begun shopping again here.

Customers service at this OAK PARK IL store location was a total nightmare. The attiude of the ladies were nasty the bodly language very sloppy. Uniforms dysfunctional, The rolling of the eyes as im checking out which item im going to purchase for my family which were children. I guess i was in the way while a target team member needed to stock the shelves. As a value customer i felt very uncomfortable. My 12 year old felt very afraid, so excited about purchasing a purse from target for her birthday That she wanted. HEADQUARTERS IM DISAPPOINTED. Were is the customer service. You need customers to make sales. As a First time customer at this store location only DISAPPOINTING.

Not sure why Christopher called this brand spanking new Target junky.. it is anything but. In fact, considering the volume of business passing through the store, it is surprisingly clean and organized. Of course the selection doesnt compare to that of a full-size Target Store, but this is not a full-size Target Store. It is similar to a Walmart Neighborhood Market. I live in the neighborhood and I thought the prices were comparable with other stores in the area. Some things might have been a bit pricey, but isnt that just true of Target period? We pay a little more to shop the better quality, right? This store was not built to draw crowds from all over Chi-town, it was built as a neighborhood store. If you live in the neighborhood, it is a welcome addition to Lake Street Shopping.

Be prepared to find only a fraction of the selection of a normal target, and there are items that are listed as “in stock in oak park” online which end up not being in the store at all. i’ve mostly stopped coming here because it is a waste of time.

Only problem is that is a very small store with a limited selection. That said, it is very conveniently located so ordering things and picking them up at the store is very easy. And for picking up little things you need everyday, this place beats Walgreens hands down.

Its great for picking up a few essentials but this is the tiniest Target I have ever seen.

Eh... Its alright. The checkout is laid out weird. There was four self check-outs on the Lake street end and didnt see the normal check-outs (wasnt looking for them, but people seemed confused). The line for the self check-outs was non-existent. People were just jumping in line since its so disorganized.Oh and two of the four check-out machines were not working so that made the process slower and more frustrating for the staff.The rest of the Target is not bad... Keep in mind it is smaller than your normal suburban Target but it has the essentials you need. They just opened so things will be a bit rough until they understand what needs to be done, so Ill give it 4-5 stars in the future if things improve.

Disappointed with this Target. I guess Im not use to small Targets, but only come here for very basic things. Do not expect a wide selection of items here. Wanted to quickly stop in one day for a small bottle of Tropicana grape juice that most stores usually have, they dont carry it. Came in tonight for bowls and utensils and the selection was...there was no selection! Only boring white dining dishes and dingy dull utensils. Plus the chick at the Starbucks station tonight had a sh*tty attitude and was straight up RUDE. Dont expect much here.

My experience with a store associate named T.K. was less than pleasant. Ill reserve my money for another location or store.

Handicap accessible facility, public washrooms, deals and savings in every department

I was excited to visit it. But was disappointed. I wouldnt recommend it for elderly. Had a difficult time with my friend who is in a wheelchair. Although parking is indoors, its difficult to maneuver and you have to still go outside to get to the target. Not appropriate for the neighborhood its in. I dont think it will last.

Really nice store and staff - just a little pricy.

Great location, variety of average quality merchandise: food, paper products, cosmetics, clothing, etc. Theres a Starbucks inside. Verizon has a counter; not sure whether that is permanent or just for a promotion. Aisles are narrow, shelves were being stocked, and structural beams make it dofficult to maneuver through the store. If you havent shopped Target before, sign up for a RedCard to get 5% off your Target purchases. (Bring a blank/voided check and your debit card.) CVS is just for prescriptions so your CVS rewards card & coupons are no good. Again, great location, but for food, I think Trader Joes and Whole Foods has much better quality and variety.

This is one of those useless fake Targets.Essentially its a corner drug store with convenience items.

Its been a 10/10 for so long but lately Ive had issues with being overcharged at the register (lower price on the shelf).
