I took my daughter here after a particularly rough doctors appointment, she deserved a sundae! I remember coming here with my grandfather. Nothing has changed! The ice cream was so good! The girl behind the counter was super sweet and patient. Will definitely keep coming back here!

I have been going to Cupid Ice Cream Shop since I moved to Oak Lawn 23 years ago. I would say I go there around once a month, either to the ice cream shop or to the candy store which is attached. Every holiday I would stop in to get a few pounds of candy, which isnt cheap, but very delicious. The other day, my two girls and two of their friends went in to have ice cream. The bill was $30 for 4 shakes. They were sitting in a booth, talking and laughing when the manager came up to the booth and told another employee to watch them. She said they were up to no good. The girls were shocked because they had no idea what they did. Anyway, about 5 minutes later, they were asked to leave and told that the police would be called if they didnt go now. Of course the kids got up to leave and as they were leaving, the manager snapped pictures of the kids and the car they drove away in. When my girls returned home, they told me of this situation. I asked them if they were being obnoxious or out of control. They told me they would not have acted any different if I was there with them. I believe them. HOW DARE THAT MANAGER TAKE PICTURES OF MY MINOR CHILDREN! Its an ice cream parlor. I feel that you are able to relax and enjoy yourself while eating your ice cream. I have been in there before when the manager has been rude and I let it go as to maybe she was having an off day. Now I know she is always having one. Good bye Cupids, your not the only shop in town.
