Just wasted over an hour in this store, we were greeted immediately and thats why I gave the 1 star. This girl was working alone with another customer when we walked in.. we literally waited over forty minutes for her to wrap this up with this customer. That wasnt an issue, however when we were next to be waited on in walks a guy to pay a bill she takes him fine.. finally we are getting customer service but with additional questions that have nothing to do with why we are in there. This girl noticed that I had the name of the company I work for on my jacket and begins to ask me if Im a flight attendant. She then tells me how she would like to travel but hears my company on the news all of the time. She continues to share her personal opinions which I thought was slowing up the process of what she was supposed to be doing. I didnt care to hear her personal opinions I wanted to get the broken phone replaced . Other customers came in and she greets them then starts making phone calls to other stores. She advised these customers to stay out of the 79th street store as in her opinion they have so much drama at that location. After being in there over an hour she did not transfer over all of the contacts only 8. When I asked her if she could transfer everything to the new phone her response was here I will show you how to transfer contacts one at a time. According to this girl there was no backup saved for anything on the old phone to be transferred to the new one. She changed the password for the Google account and saved pictures without asking just told us after she had done it.

Shayene has poor customer service skills. She is in a hurry to end the sale so she can get back to whatever; no one else is in the store any time Im there. As for a phone service it really a zero. Im offline or dont have service more then I do have service!! It was good when it was Metro PCS buts stinks now!! Also, paid in full for a phone that was supposed to be unlocked and isnt! Costly mistake, so look elsewhere please.

Been dealing with Metro PC at this location since the day it opened. 5- 6 years ? Fantastic people, fantastic service extremely knowledgeable and a permanent customer at this place. Thanks.! 😄

Metro PCS on 103rd and Cicero in Oak Lawn only received a 1 star because I was unable to post a review without a rating. They dont even deserve one star though. This is the worst store I have ever stepped foot in. I totally understand that is is a pre-paid cellular company, and you get what you pay for. HOWEVER, no matter what the price of something, if your career is in management then you should deliver customer service at all times. I had my mother go in with my son to have his cell phone looked at and was notified by Bradley-over the phone, (a manager who happened to be visiting from their corporate office) that in fact after less than 6 months, yet again, there was something wrong with the phone. Luckily, it was technically covered under the one year manufacturers warranty. Great, right? Not so fast. Bradley goes on to say to repair the phone I must pay $15. When I asked what the fee was for he first gave inaccurate information, stating it was going to cover shipping charges to the store. When I question this, he then changed his answer to thats just how things work with us. Im sorry, this is an unacceptable answer. This is a $49.00 phone and you want to charge me an additional $15 to have it repaired when its a manufacturer error?! I just had my $800.00 iPhone repaired due to a manufacturers error for $0! My cell phone company even took care of the expedited shipping charge. Bradley then proceeds to rudely hand the phone back to my mom and said he couldnt speak to me anymore because I keep asking the same question. This is management from corporate at its finest! So, needless to say, I am infuriated that Bradley is unable to help me. I called the store myself over 25 times, 3 out of those 25 times I was hung up on. Not once in my conversation with this manager did I disrespect him, yell or use profanity. There was NO reason to not answer my calls. This is unacceptable and unbelievable. I am entitled to a FREE exchange of a phone that no longer functions and $15.00 for shipping is absurd. It is mind boggling how an employee from Metros corporate office cannot handle conflict, customer issues and be knowledgeable on company policies and processes. Retail is not for everyone and clearly not for Bradley or any employee in this store who allowed calls to be screened on a business line. I will be contacting The Better Business Bureau and filing a complaint. At this point, paying the $15 to replace my sons phone is probably easier than these time consuming emails, complaints and reviews but I will not sit here and be treated like crap when I pay for a service.

If i could give this place a no stars I would . First off i was in there with my friend on the 7th of December she open new lines. They told her that she could get an additional line for $25 a month and we wants a iPhone which they dont have in stock. She then told me to put a down deposit to order the phone so that way it will be there by the 17th. I went in there yesterday to get a new line because they forgot to order my phone and it didnt come in. I go to the store yesterday with intentions on buying my new phone which i was told to bring a total of $45 dollars an that money that i put down will go towards it as well. When I first pulled up to the store I thought it was going to be a wait because the lady and man were sitting in the chair and didnt see anyone behind the counter. I go into the store its actually the lady that works there and she had her boyfriend come sit with her while at work very unprofessional. So I tell her im here to pick up the phone and she trying to charge me $75 when I was told it was only around $40 . She then tries to break down the bill to me telling me since I getting a phone in the middle of the month i have to pay prorated charges of $8 dollars for two weeks. my bill was $48 dollars for two weeks then on January 7th i would have to pay an additional fee of $25 for my January bill. Joscelin got very snippy and told me that she was the manager and that i was being rude . I then told her that she was being rude an thought that i was stupid and was going to pay an extra bill payment for something I didnt have. As im asking her to call customer service she hands me the store phone tells me to push 0 and its asking for the company code. I then ask her and she tells me figure it out your self since you want to call. I finally get a hold of the customer service number and the lady said I do not understand where she got that amount from and the customer service gave me entirely didnt price. I then gave the phone back to Joscelin and she put the lady on mute and didnt want to talk to her because she knew she was incorrect. At the same time she told me that she didnt have to give me the phone and that there was a bunch of people on the wait list. As I was calling the customer service she was calling the next customer to come pick up my phone that she was trying to double charge me for. I recommended you go to corporate and that she is fired from this store because no one should be rude an disrespectful when your getting over charged.

I like it most of the time. Some workers are very helpful. One this that really ticked me off is that you are punished with a $3.00 of you want to play your bill in person.
