Came to get an oil change and it was quick and Nick was very professional. He even told me about a coupon I could use to save me money. Nick is very polite respectful and knowledgeable. I will definitely request him when it’s time for my next routine oil change.

My mother went to Car-x on Friday 9/23/21, because her car was making a thumping sound coming from the rear tire on the driver side. The staff exam her vehicle and explained to her where There was a gash in the left rear rotor. Nick was very helpful, and he went over and beyond to make sure she received excellent customer service. I would definitely recommend Car-X on 107th in Oak lawn, IL to my family and friends.

They are very professional. They keep you informed on what they are doing and what they found that need to be repaired or replaced. They care about their customers.

Absolutely LOVE Car-X on 107th, they do ALL my work on my car. Trust them completely and they have very quick service if you make an appointment. LOVE the customer service and all the discount flyers they send me in the mail. We moved pretty far away and still travel to this location for ALL my car needs.

I will be coming back again. The man at the counter is courteous and personable, and they were able to squeeze in my oil change when i came in for my flat.

Charged me nearly $600 to replace spark plugs on a 10+ y/o vehicle that wasnt even worth that amount of money and would not give me any price estimates beforehand. The total boiled down to about 4 hours of labor even though you do not need to remove any manifolds to access the plugs themselves, so I assume they charged me for the time my car sat in the parking lot waiting to be worked on.Counter staff just shrugged his shoulders and told me to swipe. Came to the place because I read the reviews and they sounded great, but they must all be written by either the employees themselves or by people who know nothing about working on cars because there was nothing five star worthy about the place. Absolutely avoid at all costs.

Ray fixed my rusted out exhaust and it runs great. He even gave me a couple of price options that work with my budget. Super great job and A1 customer service. I even gave him a small gem stone as a thank you. I would refer anyone I know to take their car to the Car-X in Oak Lawn (on Cicero).

I absolutely love coming here! I came on a whim during the pandemic for an oil change and have been coming ever 3 months since! The manager is SUPER FRIENDLY, NICE, and helpful! Can you say Godsend!! And it smells good in the waiting area not like a pit stop lolI always leave feeling like my car is brand new!

First time at Car X and everything was top notch service! I made an appointment for an oil change in advance a day before and Ray was very helpful and accommodating over the phone he also gave me a coupon for my service. When i got to my appointment the gentleman in front was also very friendly I believe his name was Nick? I told him i had to be out by a certain time and he was able to get me out earlier then expected! He also gave me another discount on top of Rays coupon! This was my first time at this location. I wished we met sooner! I definitely plan to return. Ray was very professional as stated in many reviews and insightful about my repairs. I appreciated his patience and genuine concern. The issue was resolved for today, yea!...real blessing. Ray alerted me of a previous repair that needs urgent attention from a dealership still under warranty...real integrity.

I had two tires that needed replacing, and I was going to take it to a place that does just that, but then my exhaust rusted out and I figured I should take it somewhere where they could do both. Ive never used Car X, but I thought Id give it a try, since some of the other repair places Ive used in the past have nose dived as far as service and quality goes, and I just didnt want to bother with them anymore. My car was ready early the next day, and I was pleased with the work they did. Like a lot of folks, I have had repair shops push additional services, but Ray and his staff did just what I needed, and didnt hassle me about anything extra (though my car is ancient, and probably needs a LOT of stuff done). Its been two weeks, and my car is running great. Id recommend them for sure. Thanks guys!

Ive been to this Car-X a couple times in the past and always had excellent service. My most recent visit today was just as good as always. I was in there to have my noisy muffler replaced as well as my front brakes. Rick helped me and was very professional as well as an all around super nice guy. Harry was the mechanic who worked on the car and was super nice and very professional as well. Also, he did a great job fixing everything that I was in there for so Im very happy. The prices were very fair as well...especially compared to what the dealership would have charged! Keep up the excellent work guys.

Stating I got a good deal on a oil change and wipers. I never wrote this review myself! Maybe that’s why this place has so many good reviews but I did not get asked or told about this!!!! After a long over due oil change some safety issues were brought to my attention. My precious cargo of a 4 and 5 year old was their main concern. Even though it was super overwhelming they were willing to work with me and provided a reasonable price to put us back on the road safely. Ray and his team of mechanics worked hard to ensure the work would be completed by the time my children needed to have a ride. Ray did an amazing job explaining what was needed, how its was going to be done and the benefits of the vehicles maintenance to provide a safe family vehicle. When I didnt understand he drew pictures. After all said and done...1) I knew my car better 2) i was educated about maintenance of my vehicle 3) it didnt brake the bank and most importantly 4) i have someone to call if something just doesnt seems right.Its a blessing to know that you are driving around safe. But even more of a blessing to know you can call Ray and say hey..... and he will take care of it.

Very detailed and friendly. Ray went over everything with a fine toothed comb in terms of my charges, discounts, and what I needed vs. not. Also, the mechanic checked over thoroughly and explained in detail why he wanted to take another test drive after he was done just to be sure it was right.
