This location was EXCELLENT!! In and out lightening fast. The whole crew worked extremely well. Told to stay in our cars (about 8 other customers before opening )and once location opened an entire fleet of employees took care of us. It was pretty impressive!! Highly recommended!!

Guys here always have amazing customer service skills. They’re quick, efficient, and have great communication between each other. It’s easy to make an appointment and the option of dropping your car off is great. Also the fact that if you buy your tires with them, you get free tire rotation and tire repair is a huge plus. I will always go to a Discount Tire when I have a tire issue or need new tires.

If you value your time avoid this place. You will wait at least an hour just to check in. (they refuse to take appointments). Then you will be informed that you will wait at least another two hours before they start work on your car. This has been like this long before Covid. I have had to tie up the car for at least four hours each time I needed to have the tires rotated as is required. They are competitive in price but their quality of work is not the best either. Three of the last four sets of tires I have purchased caused me to return and have them rebalanced wasting another four hours each time. Very few options for tires in this area and it seems they are taking advantage of it. I got my last set of tires from their store in Countryside and was in and out in less than two hours and the work was done correctly.

I want to thank the manager and the other workers for their service. I had to deal with a one worker who didn’t provide the expected service but the others made up for it. Not a bad place to get your tires changed.

I purchased the warranty for my tires and so glad I did! I travel a lot of highway miles and I feel secure that I have this place to back me up on them! Made an appointment yesterday, for tire rotation and air check... I was in and out in 20 min! Great friendly service! Definitely would recommend them to EVERYONE!

I had a great experience here the customer service was good and very professional he explained everything to me and told me what all my options was it was very busy when I got there but that wasnt a problem I was told when I got to the desk that the in and out time for my car will be a little bit longer because they were busy so I sat in the waiting area which was nice and clean my wait time wasnt that bad at all compared to some of the other tire places I will and I am definitely going to use them for all my cars I will definitely send my friends and family here plus the prices are reasonable the reason why I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because they only had 2 brands of tires that fit my car but I think thats because of being a good busy business

Had a flat tire and needed new tires. They gave me tires for my price budget. They did it that day with no appointment. It was quick and the guys were nice. Only going to them for tires and when I need air in my tires that is free to use. Thanks!

The service people are always pleasant and helpful. I have been a customer over 3 years and I expect I will continue to be. By all means, if you need to buy tires, this is the place because they provide so much no charge tire service to you as a customer. They have a great business model to keep you a customer. I recommend them highly. It would be worth your while.

I have been doing all my tire needs at this location for many years now. I used to say I would never go anywhere else. The last two or three times has made it clear the service has gone down hill greatly. Wait times are high, even with appointments. I dont expect to get in exactly at my scheduled time but whats the point of an appointment if Im waiting forever. When I needed tires the salesman pushed really hard for me to get 4 when I really only needed 2. When I came back to have them put on I got home later to find I was missing a lug nut and they didnt put the spare away. Luckily I live nearby. Id hate to think what could have happened if I decide to get onto the expressway or something. I will say they took care of it right away. My most recent trip I ended up having to leave while waiting because I had another appointment and I couldnt wait any longer. When they called and I told them I couldnt wait longer all I got was a no problem. I used to always see the same staff in there but everyone I used to know seems to be gone. Its a shame, they used to have great prices and great service. Now I have to decide if the price is worth the trouble.

Got there and there was about a dozen cars, I was so glad I made the appointment. A young man came by to ask my information we stayed in the car for about 20 minutes. The young man pulled the car into the area where they do the tire rotation tire balancing and we had a fat flat fixed everything was done everything was fine never have any issues with Discount Tires. I do suggest to people that you get online and make an appointment .

Great took less than an hour but my tire pressure is way off. Tried telling me that its because Ive got a Chevy and theyre the worst with the tire pressure sensing units but I dont believe that so if it doesnt straighten out Ill be going back there soon.

I come in with tire problems I had on my new tired I had brought about a month ago, I had called the place I get them from and they said I can go to any other store and they take care of me. I come to the store on 6635 w 95th street. I spoke to noah and the man took care of me he understood what I was going through and he was very professional as everybody else was. This is the ONLY place I will ever buy tires, even after moving to the north side. Just cant say enough about the crew at this location specifically and the company generally. They stick to their guarantees/warrantys w/o question unlike many other businesses that bend over backwards to try and get out of covering their products. Most recently I had an issue whereby I missed out on a rebate bc of an issue with their online account system. I reached out to their corporate number and immediately they contacted the Oak Lawn location. The manager called me and assured me they would honor the rebate and a lower price for the certificates, set up an appointment and I was in and out. No hassles. They have my business for life.

Service is really great I want to stress that.....but wait times are bad. Discount tires do a great job but I have had where I booked an appointment for 1pm didnt get to my car until 2pm and not out of there until say 2:40 my question is why book so many people? I guess this can be just a give at take

I went in around 10 oclock Saturday morning. I brought my breakfast because I was prepared for a long wait. Check in was very quick. I didnt have to get out of the car and I was seen in less than 10 minutes. I was not able to put air in one of my tires, I was expecting to have to get a new tire. The issue was the inside of the cap that goes over air valve got stuck in the in the valve. They removed it and replaced all the caps.

This place is excellent 5 stars. Professional and the service and knowledge of products is on point. Mike helped me out when I came in and took care of me really fast. Mike and his team are great people to do business with. Keep up the good work guys.

Placed an order for 1 tire that took 5 days to come in. Than I was asked to bring in my rim and tire in separate without the vehicle which made no sense. When I arrived they told me it would take 5/6 hours to install. Which is kind of frustrating since I did most of the work by taking off the tire and bringing it to them like had asked of me. I asked for help and the manager Christian had no remorse or sensitivity to my situation. After all I would expect for quick service since I all ready waited 5 days and did half the job my self by bringing in the tire and rim my self. I understood they were busy but I already waited five days and everybody else didn’t have to bring in their own rim and tire like I did. I even went back into the store spent more money purchasing warranty . I ended up going in and getting a refund for the installation of a single tire I’m taking my business elsewhere . Overall just horrible it’s sad because the rest of the staff completely awesome and I wish them nothing but the best keep up the great work.

Best customer service ever! Alex was great as well as Patrick Stine, the assistant manager, was amazing! Super professional, caring, courteous! I was basically a damsel in distress with a really low tire about to blow. They were able to squeeze me in even though they were busy and I was able to get on with my work appointments. They’re definitely a superstar Crew! Great tires too! I had to replace my tires and they were able to do all four!

They can handle cars ONLY!!!! Do not let them touch your trailer or boat! They arent experienced enough. We were able to repair what they broke on our trailer...but its clear they dont know what they are doing (even though we called first and asked if they service trailer tires)

I placed my order online on May 11th and made an appointmentOn May 12th they called and asked me to change the schedule to Monday May 17th.Then on May 13th they called again and said to change the schedule to Saturday, May 15th at 2:45.Then on May 14, they sent me an email again, saying that the schedule was confirmed again at 12:15 in the morning of May 15.I arrived at the store at 12 o clock on the this morning. An employee outside took my information first and then kept me waiting for nearly an hour.Then another employee came and told me the schedule was 2:45 and I had to wait until 2:45.I told the staff I didnt understand their schedule, but he said it wasnt their problem and didnt apologize.He says Walk In also takes an hour to wait, so why do I make a timeline online?They messed up my plans for the whole day.

This is the short version.,,when to discount tires got the runaround about dropping the car off...ended up leaving the car after I asked for the corporate number..got a call about 2pm saying they would have to order another tire ..they also said it would be ready 8/19/20..I took off work so I would be ready to pick it up.never got a call..on thurs I walked down to discount tires to find out my car was ready on wed no one bothered to call wed or Thursday. I even called customer service and was told some one would get in touch with me in 48 hours...that was 08/20/20...still havent heard from anyone as of today 08/29/20..no need to...as soon as I need more tires for my three cars Im going else where..if I could have gave a neg I Iwould..the customer service is horrible there in oaklawn.

Good service but the employees here need to keep their distance. First guy came out and greeted me. I didnt want to be bothered. I parked in the furthest spot possible so that I could take about 10 minutes to rearrange some things in my car and get situated before I go inside to talk with someone. So the first guy tells me that a salesman would be out shortly to get me. I told him to wait because I was busy. (My appointment was at 430 and I arrived at 410.). So anyways, the second guy comes out not even 45 seconds later. Now I gotta come inside with him to get started. Its just annoying. Know your role. Do what the customer wishes. Keep your distance. There is such a thing as intrusion. Let the customer breathe a little, damn. Just cuz I arrived early doesnt mean I wanna be taken care of right away.

This time around i was given a good deal. Big difference from 2019,2020. I picked 4 all season tires from goodyear. Customer service was much better. From the moment i drove up to the moment they said your car is ready. I received a total of $75.00 rebates and the price was around $200.00 less from Wal-Marts quote.Total time from beginning to end was around an hour.

Stopped in to check the air in my tires. The young man aired up the tires quickly and didnt steal the caps on the plugs. Its happened before so I always check! I gave him a tip.

I would recommend somewhere else. The service is rude, short and overpriced. $126 for one tire. I waited in the car longer than to make the appointment AND pay. Very inconvenient; made customers pick up their car having to walk in the street to get it.

I must say that this was the best service I think I’ve ever received ANYWHERE! I was NICELY greeted by an employee and was helped out tremendously by him as well as many others.Edgar and Pedro did me a great deed on helping me out with my car and making sure my SAFETY was an absolute priority to them. Ive never had a bad experience with Discount Tires. Incredible service great prices and they make sure that youre going to be satisfied. If for any reason you have a problem with your tires bring them back in and they will replace them. I bought four Michelin tires for my Lexus and I couldnt be happier. I had a flat tire a few years ago I brought it in they repaired it for me for free. Thats what started this great friendship. I will be a customer for life and my family top notch five stars all the way.

I was able to get my service done today, I bought four tires. I advise to set an appointment online before going to the location to avoid delay and long waiting. The team also found that one of my tire sensors was not working correctly, and the switches it out for me. The light on my dash board finally is off. That’s major, well worth it. I bought 4 new tires and I’m rolling.

4 New tires replaced $800, when completed low tire pressure light on, how ironic ! Rude staff on the defensive when SIMPLY and KINDLY ask, if they could POSSIBLY damage the sensor during installation, staff DAMI@n rapidly engaged with a confrontational tone. tanks to him I give them this rating. I strongly believe this staff can not handle a high level of customers demand always on the rush and bad temper.

Fast service, good prices. Service is courteous but this is the second time I have to stop in after service for a fix. First time, few years ago they mounted a tire facing the wrong direction. This time, they screwed up tire balancing. Will use Orland Park location from now on.

Made my appointment. Was there on time, 30 minutes later rolling out with brand new tires. Spent less than $1000.00.

Absolutely horrible experience. We bought four brand new tires from here and one of them clearly have a slow leak (went flat same day). We were told to bring it in to exchange under warranty. We get there and are told by a greeter we have 3 cars ahead of us and we’ll be worked on shortly. After sitting here 20 minutes, Christian tells us we have no appointment and will not be serviced today. He proceeds to give two options of call TOMORROW and make an appointment or leave the car and come back when they’re done. Well no, we’re doing neither as we were advised to bring it in today and we would be seen shortly. Christian was extremely rude and argumentative. He’s doing everything in his power to ensure we are the last car to be seen. Very unprofessional.

About a year ago I had an incident at this location where they damaged my wheel stud while swapping my summer tires for winter tires. So they swapped the 3 tires and sent me on my way to get the stud fixed (huge pain on a jaguar) and told me to come back. When I came back a week later, another salesman gave me a hard time about swapping the 4th tire that the tires are 10 years old and tried to upsell me, altho a week earlier they had no problem swapping the other 3 tires with matching dates. I was treated unprofessionally and extremely rudely to the point that I sent a complaint email to upper management which resulted in me getting 4 brand new tires and an apology.Fast forward to yesterday. I wanted to do my brakes. Turns out the shop overtightened my wheels. One wheel came off like butter. The other 3 have been tightened on max with an impact wrench to the point that I cant take them off with an impact wrench from a semi even after soaking them in wd-40 overnight. I assume that the tech was trying to retaliate against me. All of my lugnuts are ruined and I need multiple studs replaced. Most of my anger at this situation is with the fact that my wife has been driving this car for the past year with my 3 year old son. Overtightened lug nuts can cause the wheels to break off.

I took my old but working car there to get four new tires since I had a flat and had my spare on there. They then closed for a week because someone at the store got cornavirus, they are fine im told, and I choose to leave my car there because it was not recommended that I drive on my spare. When I picked up my car a week later, my break light was on, which it previously wasnt. After talking to the store manager and a trip to auto zone we found a leak in my break line. Like I said, my car was fine when I left it there a week before. Now discount tire is blaming it on the rust on my car and denying responsibility. They will not pay to fix it or even pay for a tow truck for me to take it to a place, I have literally NO breaks in my car. It is not safe to drive.Now i either have to pay over $200 for a tow truck or dangerously drive my car to a mechanic to see if they are at fault when they clearly are. I left my perfectly working car with them and now I have been not able to drive it for a week. I know I dont know a lot about cars, but I do know that this should not have happened. 10/10 would not recommend coming here unless you want problems and a long wait time. I would give them zero stars if I could.

Good MorningI am a traveling register respiratory therapist currently traveling the country assisting different hospitals for the adult and pediatric population during the current crisis. I was :on my way home from work at 7:30a and got a flat tire on the freeway. I pulled into the store parking lot and gave my information to a gentleman he told me someone would be able to help me. Then Christian came and told me its the weekend and they only work by appointments and he would try to work me in.. I explained I understood that but why would there be no time allotted for emergencies. I am a traveling registered respiratory therapist working at many hospitals across the country working with the pediatric and adult population during this crisis. He told me there had already been two exposures at that location and that is why the time space was limited. Once he got my information he got my car in the bay. I asked him if I could use the restroom and he told me I could go to the restaurant next door! Seriously I am a customer. I was just at Firestone in Skokie on Tuesday morning and they allowed me to use the restroom there because I was a customer. I noticed my car was ready and no one even came to get me. When I flagged someone down that my car was done, he told me I could go. When I got to my car door another gentleman asked to see my receipt first. How disheartening the service I received was, I am a visitor helping your city during a crisis and this how I was treated.

Waste of time, had to go back multiple times because they don’t know how to install a TPMS
