Best grocery store around. There is a reason there are 4 in town.

There is a Starbucks inside. Super pretty plants can be found in here as well! If youre looking for the bathroom, its in the back of the store where only workers are typically allowed.

Good place to shop. A little overpriced compared to safeway but usually has less customers to deal with.

Budget didnt have the car I rented, a full size sedan, and the trainee agent said one would be available in about 20 minutes, however I could upgrade for $20 more per day only because I was an AARP member!! Seriously!! This after standing in line for over 40 minutes!!! Because I was tired of waiting and wanted a vehicle asap, I took the downgrad to a KIA Soul only to be told it would be at the same price as the full size sedan!!. The trainee said that was the best he could do!! I asked again about my AARP discount and was told paying for the KIA at the full size price was the best deal he could offer. I come to Seattle 3 times a year to see my new granddaughter and my son who is in the NAVY. This is the last time I use Budget here. Ivevused Budget before in other cities and never had a bad experience, but this was over the top! The AVIS rental desk was fully staffed and whipping customers through in no time. Budget had four agent, one was a trainee. Then one of the agents left to go on break. There 11 peopke in line, two agents and the trainee who spent 30 minutes with one customer. The manager had to come out to fix that problem then left without even addressing those of us that had been standing there fir over 40 minutes!! Go somewhere else for a car when you come to Seattle!!

The grounds are stunning and unspoiled! All is brand new or recently bought. Im trying to make my way from my apartment to a busy shopping center. When I was here last week, I bought goods that were both high in quality and fairly priced. This is a definite must-try!

The strangest thing about this particular haggen is that it has the best sushi on this island...

Haggen is an upper scale grocery store similar to Wegmans back in the North York area. They have a step up in brands but also have everyday items, both at competitive prices. I think that they are about one step above Safeway here locally in top end items. There is plenty of parking with two entrances to the street side of the parking lot directly off of state route 20. Haggen is located in the middle of the southern end of downtown Oak Harbor. See you there.

Store is clean and walkways are wide. Fresh food selection always looks delicious. I usually go for sushi, and regretfully they have very few vegetarian selections and they dont make them super early to begin with but the store is lovely.

Love this place! Its never really crowded, produce selection is the best, the butcher, the deli all of it is great. I cant forget about the staff either Renee, Brett and George are some of the nicest people here. You should check it out!

Deli has always been the best. But the bakery is my donut savior since the donut shop closed down. Not to mention everyone Ive met who works there is pleasant to talk with during checkout.

Can be a little pricey at times but thats because they do a lot of products with wholesome ingredients and with pure manual hard work. Theyre a store with strong morale and great character. You may think you spent too much at first, but when you try their options of choice youll never give that a second thought every again. Satisfied every time, I guarantee it.

This grocery store is always so clean! I like how they have unusual brands & foods. I dont shop there regularly, but Ive not found the store to be exceptionally high priced.

Always have the freshest produce, and the bakery here is dope. Their military discount makes their prices comparable to Safeway, I like to go here when Safeway is a mad house.

Best cuts of meat I can find in any grocery store on the island but they do cost more.

Haggen is my favorite local grocery store. Not only is the produce sourced from local Washington farms, but their selection of organic and regular produce is outstanding! Same goes for their meat department! Thats important to me!! During the initial Covid-19 lockdown when every store was out of flour, Haggens bakery department was providing freshly ground bags of flour for their customers, and not once were they ever out of toilet paper...at least when we were there! It might not have been my favorite brand, but their shelves were not completely bare! The customer service has ALWAYS been a notch above every other place and is really the heart of this business. They CARE! Thats why my husband and I go back time after time!

I love it. Just be careful. Unfortunately u gotta make sure u know the prices of all OH Markets like Safeway and Commissary. Prices could be Ex. 3.99 for a jar of sauce at Safeway, but 8.00 at Haagens.

I really enjoy this grocery store. Its well located, stocked with lots of brands, and everyone here seems friendly.I highly recommend this place if you are in need of supplies.

Pretty good for a small town health food store! Nice staff, and some fairly decent selections for a small area.Make your own salads bar is really awesome. Make sure to go during the day so it’s all super fresh.The deli is extremely enticing and hard to resist getting one of everything.Great place to swing by if you want easy meals and fresh produce.

The employees make this a great place to come to. We were shopping the day before Thanksgiving and not were all the employees their usual happy selves (and with the holiday shopping madness, thats a tall order!) but one worker was walking people up and down aisles all over the store pointing out where some of the harder to find goods were. She even helped me find the mini marshmallows. So helpful! (Hint: those marshmallows are on the very bottom of the baking aisle at the back end, on the left 😉)

Haggens is a wonderful chain of grocery stores. I find myself in them whenever I visit Washington state. Great products and they often feature local stock. Great place.

Managers are extremely nice along with employees. For price you can get the Haggens brand. The quality is excellent. Meat is a little more expensive, but so woth it! They have a higher grade then other stores.

The only thing I hate about this store is that my kids cry every single time we leave! They also cheer every time we come -- I love how they do so many events for the kids, its amazing! Also love that they have a salad bar

My absolute favorite grocery store. Everyone in this store is very helpful and friendly. The produce is always excellent and their organics are satisfying. They carry nice assortments of gluten free items, unexpected tasty items like pasta from Italy, a plethora of hot sauces, great food at their deli and my favorite Kombucha.

I purchase flower bouquets for my wife from Haggens and there was always a very nice florist available to help in customer service. I have never been disappointed and the floral arrangements are always fresh and available.

They were sold out of what I was looking for. Service was good, though.

My all time favorite grocery store, everything fresh, clean, friendly, and courteous. I liked what I ordered which was chicken tenders, black and white muffin from bakery, and a bag of Cadbury chocolate Easter eggs, also European cut bacon (delicious) and a bag of shredded potatoes.

Its as grocery store. Prices are on the higher end but its clean and carries a decent produce dept.

Talk about false advertisingThis place is a joke, for the prices you would think you’re getting the best but nope.Out of the WHOLE store there are 2 things I would buy because no other store on island has it, the seafood department is questionable and the bakery is never consistent and it depends on the day if bagels and donuts are edible.the deli is decent but the workers always look frazzled and overwhelmed salad bar is best part of the store period .Anyway I’ll be at Safeway and I’m sure Haggen doesn’t care cuz it’s basically the same store $2 cheaper minus the salad bar

Good lay of the store, very easy to find things and they will take Vons/Safeway club card so you can earn points towards gas rewards. They also give a military discount of 10% .

Most all of the staff are very helpful and friendly. The produce section is nice and clean. I think the produce department is a big tell as to the quality if the store.

The staff have a small town feel, very friendly and eager to help. the store is Always clean and well fronted. They have almost the same stuff as Safeway but some things you can only get there.Bakery makes stuff everyday their donuts are better than the doughnut house in the same parking lot.Deli has prompt service, the chickens legs are crispy yum! Oh Wow a fresh salad bar is boasted here you simply must try it!I love how they have had almost all the same crew of employees over the decade. This store cares about its staff as much as its customers.I also like that their produce section has some nice specialty items and a warning system of gentle thunderstorm sounds to let you know when the sprinklers on the produce will be coming on.I have lived here for 15 years watched the prices i n this building go up, then down, then up. Now it is the exact same pricing as the Safeway by Walmart. I visit that Safeway about once a week I try to compare the meat section.

Ive never been into an haggens before all I have to say I was pretty pleased Kroger grocery store that seems to have comparable prices nice and friendly staff the one in Oak Harbor used to be a Safeway so its still laid out a lot of the same and they were the only store in Oak Harbor that sold my wifes favorite bottled refrigerated coffee from coffee mate Brew
