Mystery board games wrapped up ready for Christmas! This was a really fun store! Check it out!

Every time I visit Oak Harbor, I have to stop at my favorite store, The Book Rack. They make it all too easy to find everything for my favorite hobby-D&D Comics, books, dice, trays and figures, Magic the Gathering Cards and mats, the best selection of tabletop games and a very carefully curated book section. From classics to the newest Sci Fi, it’s all there. On top of that, there are lots of fun little unexpected gift items. So great for a little something for the people at home. The staff is pleasant and super knowledgeable. I just wish we had one where I live!

All too dangerous...to my wallet. I try and stay out of the store. I try and stay away from the excellent figure selection. I try and stay away from the great gaming book selection. But i cant...I am not strong willed enough. Have I mentioned how they have a great selection? *sigh* Seriously, if you are into gaming, this should be a regular haunt for you. Great friendly staff too.

Ive been shopping at athe boom rack for gosh i think its going on about 20 years but ive been a loyal comic book collector and over the years have purchased man y a book from here they have always had a good selction of things not just comic book and a great selection of comics ive been happy with the store and the staff has alwaysy been helpful and cool eventhough i think its changed owners at least once i could be mistaken about this im not sure but i love it ans will continjue to shop there as long as its open

I cant praise this place enough, the staff is always friendly and they have a suprising selection, you can buy dice, models, board games, books, tarot/Oracle cards, mini figures, comics, manga, posters, card games and so much more. youll never know exactly what unless you go. I always find myself spending quite a bit of money there, but I still treasure and love everything Ive gotten. Going to this place is never a mistake especially if your a huge table top rpg, board game, or just general nerd. I also cannot stress how cool the dice selection can get.

Book Rack is an awesome book store and a great place for niche nerd stuff from comics to D&D. They have an online subscription manager customers can use to purchase new/current comic books (and other stuff) and have them waiting for you when you come in. Its clean, the employees are nice and courteous, always worth a visit!

The person who was working there was very nice and laid back, and made me feel very welcome there. They have a great selection of board games, as well as table top figures and dice. It was my first time shopping there, and I cant wait to go again!

This is truly my favorite store on the island. The staff is so welcoming and kind, they have a very diverse selection of books and games, and anything they dont have, they can order. I 100% recommend to anyone that loves books or games.

An outstanding local business with a good selection of sci-fi and fantasy books.Their bigger draw though, in my opinion, is their selection of RPG supplies and awesome board game rental selection. I didnt know this was a thing!The staff are all very helpful and appear to be people interested in the products, not just the job.

Cute little book store with a cute little set up. Room in the back for table top games, an enormous selection of tabletop minis and even a board game rental program which i think is fabulous. The employee was kind and helpfulbut not over attentive which is nice in a book store. I love the personal reviews on books and products. It helped me make an informed decision between two games I was considering.

Great customer service, however I opened two resealed Pokémon products from here. Not sure if they were accepting returns that caused them to be resealed.

Relaxing atmosphere, clean ship, and whatever book they dont have theyll be more than happy to order for you.

They reseal single packs. The girls are friendly as all hell willing to go above an beyond to get you what youre looking for . But the owner should rot for up charging new released PTCG so much.

I recently moved here and was looking for a place to find stuff to play D&D and expand my magic collection. I found this place on Google maps and instantly wanted to go. I live their selection of books and gaming stuff. There minifigure section was huge! My only issue is that they dont price match, and some of the stuff I wanted to buy was cheaper online. Other than that, great store! I think my family will be going there for my birthday!

It took me over a year to walk into their store and I wish I had stopped in sooner! Awesome and friendly staff who are knowledgeable about the products they carry. Theres a good variation of books and comics and board games. I will definitely be back.

I am very pleased with the way this store has changed. While still maintaining its presents as a book store, selling new and used books, it has also become a fairly great game store as well. You can find board games, table top rpgs, supporting paints and figures, dice, and much more its good to see Oak Harbor as finally nabbed itself and table top game store that will last.

COVID made it less enjoyable. But its an amazing shop.

The Book Rack has a plethora of inventory and a helpful staff that is always attentive. Briar, one of the employees, is a fantastic help whenever I come in and the owner, Matt, always welcomes with a smile and asks you how your day is. If youve ever thought about stopping by but havent, do it! You wont be disappointed.

Great place!! Used books, new books, comic books and graphic novels. Board games, board game exchange and a place to play games too. You can even enjoy a beer or other beverage while playing.

Fantastic local comic shop that also has mass market paperbacks. Comics and gaming are certainly first here though. Great selection of graphic novels and some excellent deals on older issues when I visited. Gaming area is large and Im sure fun for all, though I am no expert on that.

Great little shop for the perusing fiction reader or gamer. Selection of used fiction is sizable. Gaming room is more than adequate. Looks like they cater to mostly RPG and comic enthusiasts.

This store has a huge COMIC BOOK section. They have tons of back issues that go all the way back to the copper age. There are some good finds to be found. I found 2 comic books in a back issue bin that were $5 a piece, but were both valued at more than $100 a piece. They also carry new comics, including several variants.

Everyone working there is super chill and I feel genuinely welcomed there. They have had some updates in the last couple of years and it suites them. The staff is helpful and my 5 year old loves finding things there

Always excellent customer service. They will order items they dont have just for you. In store game play allows for great family time while testing out a game before buying it. The sales associates are very knowledgeable and helpful.

Great little shop. No complaint here. Wish standard mtg had a bigger following in Oak Harbor in general, but that isnt to blame one store or anything exactly. Maybe if there was bigger prize support or options for big tournaments in this area it would draw more attention.

For a place that has comics and gaming supplies there really want much geekery in the way of funko pop (had maybe 6 and they were way over priced even for chase) had a small tarot desk selection. Lady working the front was not very friendly or helpful and was almost bothered by the fact we were there.

Staff have all been nice and welcoming since we showed up from the very first time. I havent been to an event yet with games or mtg but excited to meet new people when I start going. They have games you can play in the back with quite a few tables as well. We are also in town to visit and they had some pre built decks for mtg they created which was really cool.

They have a great friendly and knowledgeable staff with a good selection and fair prices. Ive shopped here starting more than 20 years ago . They could work on their singles magic selection, and perhaps later hours during event nights when there are many patrons

The people who work here are genuinely nice and friendly. They have a decent selection of books and comic books. They have many options when it comes to sleeves and deck boxes for Magic the Gathering. They have 5th edition D&D books as well as the 3.5 edition reprints. There are board games a plenty. They have a myriad of dice. They have so many color choices and sizes of dice. The store is very clean and well organised with big tables for gaming. The store is open for anyone who wants to play Dungeons and Dragons, board games or MTG. You can also play Friday Night Magic here.

Probably the best Comic/LGS in the area. Amazingly friendly staff, fast turn around for orders, and decent size crowds for MTG. Their point reward system for buying here is a nice touch too.Also, they have a great selection of Bones/D&D minis, good selection of paints, a Warhammer display, and of course a selection of books that I havent actually checked out yet.Long story short, MTG or Comics and most things in between, this is the first place Id be looking if you are anywhere between Oak Harbor and Anacortes.
