Gateway did a great job repairing my BMW. They went out of their way to find the specific gasgets needed for the repair saving me a couple hundred dollars I would have had to spend if purchasing a huge kit from BMW. They reached out to other experts when they were struggling with diagnosing the issue. I will be using them again. The only reason I didn’t give a 5 star is that I felt more communication along the way would have been nice. Thank you Gateway

Andrea and team are phenomenal! Had a problem with my windshield wipers, they dropped everything, diagnosed the problem, and got the parts ordered.They also helped me previously with a much more significant and dangerous situation with my front wheels which I was unaware of...very prompt and courteous service!

Recently had my transmission replaced, they took their time and did it right. They were completely up front with all work required. I feel comfortable knowing I have a 3 year warranty. Brought the vehicle back to have a checkup done and was satisfied with their quick service.

I had taken my 2004 suburban to two Chevrolet Dealers in Everett and Lynwood.I was not treated properly or with respect.No follow up on phone, no printed quotes.The Suburban has 204,000 miles and has been a great car.I called Andrea at Car Care Clinic at Gateway Transmissions. In Oak Harbor.She was very helpful and asked specific questions.Then emailed me an estimateI picked up the suburban at the dealer and took it to Car Care Clinic at GatewayTransmissions.Andrea was very detailed in writing up my issues, I was able to talk to the mechanic Austin. Which never happens at Chevrolet dealers.They kept me informed as the work progressed.They overhauled my transmission and fixed several other issues.Also sent it out for me to have it detailed inside and out which is a superior detail.I will take my vehicles to them for service i the future.They are very personal and a pleasure to deal with.Noel Reuland

Thet are nice however when I looked up Kelly Blue Book with the price I was given it was unfair. They seem to have high tech equipment so maybe you pay a bit more..not sure however I personally was not a fan of the prices nor was I told it would be 10 days before Id be given an estimate...

Took 2 of my vehicles here for transmission services and they were very professional and upfront about what i needed done to the vehicles. First vehicle was a 93 Chevy truck which hasnt seen the shop in a while and they did a full inspection along with a transmission service and they detailed everything that I should look at fixing but in no way did they pressure me into doing it now or even with them. Very honest and straight forward, would go there again.

The manager, Andrea, is very courteous and Austin, the technician, was prompt in getting my car in at the appointed time. The financial quote Andrea gave was within the limit, along with the time quote as well. The office is clean and offers coffee, tea and a few food items if you are there while you wait. I trust the team to take care of my car needs.

Ive been taking my 1985 Toyota SR5 pickup to Gateway Oak Harbor for the last 14 years. Thats why its still running great. When I drop off my truck there, I feel exactly like Im taking a pet to a vet. If youre not taking your vehicles to Gateway Oak Harbor, youre doing it wrong.

It was very easy to schedule my appointment online on their website. As soon as I got there they were able to get my car in and begin troubleshooting to find out what was wrong with my car not being able to start and having to jumpstart it. Turned out I needed a new starter. They were able to get one in the very next morning to install. They did have to keep it overnight but were quick on letting me know and updating me. Very professional and got the job done fast! I’d recommend this place!

Used these guys a couple times. Once for some clutch work and once to diagnose some smoking. Great customer service. Cost has been less than quite each time. Like the online notification system, showing me recommendations and pictures so I can see what needs the work. Highly recommend.

Dave was awesome and they will be straight forward with you. I took my car in for an inspect to find out what was wrong with it. Dave gave me all the options and recommendations for repair, but never was forceful or push. I didnt end up getting the work done because Im selling the car and didnt want to put in extra money to just turn around and sell it. But I would highly recommend these guys. Honest and give it to you straight.

Called in to see if they have time to check my break light for me after I realized it was out. Was told I can stop by right that second and was able to get my bulb changed and was out in under 30 minutes!Super beyond recommend!

Oil pan gasket damage after oil change.

Driving home from work and my truck wouldn’t shift out of first gear. I put the hazards on and limped it to Gateway Transmission. Dave the owner greeted me and I explained what was going on and he asked me to leave and he would look at it tomorrow. Later that day he called and told me the good news and suggested I also have my transmission service while it here and I said yes. Dave and Charlie are very professional and friendly. Excellent service, quick repairs and a wealth of knowledge. Brought my 2008 BMW 335i in for a coolant problem and the crew at Gateway Transmissions was more than helpful diagnosing the problem and very quick to repair the water pump. Dave and the team really know how to treat their customers and are straight up with you genuinely making you feel welcome.

Although we were not prepared to replace the battery and alternator on our Saab, these guys did a great job and kept us in the loop the entire time. They had to order the parts from Saab so they were able to provide us with a loaner so my wife could get to work. We will definitely use there car services again! Gateway was able to service our motorhome and fix a troubling problem with our slide-in. I know it would have taken me a month to get an appointment at an RV service dealer and it would have been off island at best. It was great to be able to have it diagnosed and fixed locally.

GTs owner, Dave, bends over backwards to get things right, to work out payments, provide fair work, and complete good repairs, all in as timely a fashion as possible. GT rebuilt our transmission on our 2013 Grand Caravan in late 2016 as it passed 100,000 miles. 10 months and 30,000 miles later (yes, 30k) had it in for service and for going into limp mode just as we were about to go on vacation. Turnaround in one day, though unable to reproduce the problem. Honestly advised to not drive the van on a long trip for now, and worked through some problems with our CarCare One credit account to complete payment.

Dave goes above and beyond helping out, If I need transmission work I’d go here first.

I called and spoke to a man named Dave. I had my car inspected by another company and knew exactly what maintenance needed to get done. I was calling different companies, getting a rough estimates on what I needed, but for some reason he was extremely rude and wouldnt give me one. I understand that you may want to look at the car yourself and make sure what needs fixed, gets fixed and the estimate might not be exact, however thats why its called an estimate. The condescending and brash tone, wasnt necessary, escpecially when Im considering giving you my money to do repairs.

My Isuzu over cab truck would not go into reverse or forward. I had it towed to Gateway in Oak Harbor. Dave and Charles took a look at it and said it needed a complete rebuild. It has been a month since we got the truck back and no problems! I was treated well and the work was clean and professional. They pointed out a tire malfunction that i was unaware of, saving me from a certain blow out! I would recomend Gateway Transmission for transmission work and other car work.
