Researched the required parts online, verifying in stock, and opened the page when entering store. Plenty of workers on-duty and one of them quickly asked how he could help. Part numbers were provided, parts brought, rang up, paid for and I was out the door and on my way in under ten minutes. Timely, efficient, friendly customer service gets grateful good grades galore from me.

They were convenient. Had plenty of parking. Were out of the small radiator house for radiator fill tank. Thats the really small hose. Ended up purchasing 2 gallons of antifreeze. Its a little pricey compared to Walmart. Which we just left. Had to buy a hose clamp set and a few other things. Those were reasonable. Services were fast and no long lines. Store was clean and uncluttered.

I needed the battery changed in my key fob. I went to a local auto store to see if they could help me do it so I wouldn’t have to take a ferry to pay $7 at the dealership.Walked in, explained what I was needed and was told they couldn’t even look up what battery I needed to buy.I walked out, went two buildings down to AutoZone where Mike not only looked up the battery, but he changed the battery for me and made sure both keys worked.Thanks Mike for the awesome service!

The kid that helped me out there was a little new so he knew where nothing was in the store But I was still able to find my products that I was looking for the store was clean was neat and everything was well organised

Thought they were closed an hour early because the sign was off. Got to listen to the two employees complain about their scheduling manager and I dont think Ive heard the f-word used so many times in a retail store during business hours before.

Love these guys here 9/10 customer service. Find a guy/gal with a smile, and you will be helped promptly. They wont mislead you. And they dont push for the high value sales like most auto parts stores. Only speaking for this autozone here in Oak Harbor.

I had an amazing experience at this Auto Zone! I came here on a Sunday night after getting a jumpstart from triple A with a dead dead battery. The woman at the counter was SO sweet and incredibly helpful. Fast worker and genuinely kind, despite my lack of knowledge or preparation for the situation. Chris was so fast as installing the new battery and we had good conversation the entire time he worked away at it! My car battery arrangement was frustrating with a mismatched bracket but it took him 1/1000 the amount of time it would have taken me. It was cold, dark and rainy but he made the overall experience enjoyable! A+ service from both of them! Couldn’t have been better.

Very helpful! Make sure you have your ID reason being if you need a tool theyll let you use it while they hold your Id. It will save you in a pinch!

I am on Camano my drivers broke down 5 minutes away from Auto Zone. I tried to explain and ask to see if they make declivities because auto zone was 5 minutes away and I was two hours away. He kept saying they dont come to Camano, I was far away. I just needed to know if they make deliveries and tried to make it clear they were only 5 minutes away from from my drivers. I think I finally got the answer they do not have a driver for deliveries and I still dont know if it was just for today or always. Sounds like someone was there just for a job not to solve or help customers. I was fine if they did not do deliveries but I felt like I could not get across the point of location.

I loved my experience! I was promptly greeted by a young gentleman who showed me exactly what I was looking for. He was polite, respectful and enthusiastic, so much so that he forgot to clock in while helping me. He only realized he wasnt clocked in when he couldnt ring me up. Excellent service!

They were great for me . I was on a road trip away from home. The worst time for car trouble. Woke up to a dead battery in my 4 year old car in the hotel parking lot. 250 miles from home. They were right down the street.They tested my system found that the battery was the problem.Loaned me the tools I needed and sold me a battery. I was on my way in a hour.Thats awesome service if I ever saw it.

Watch out if the District Manager is in he has lost touch with how to deal with customers. I entered the store which at the time only had 2 people in front. I waited in line and the person who helped me at the register was great. Knew exactly what I needed and friendly. However while this was taking place a friend of mine who entered with me went to use the restroom. The door was open and it was located in the corner of the store(like every store). Apparently while in use the district manager came pounding on the door saying it was not a public restroom. Seriously?! if not maybe shut the damn door! Clearly the time to address this was BEFORE someone entered the restroom. Maybe if you were around to help instead of sitting in the back he could have asked. After being chastised for not asking the little mans permission, I put my items back and left. Go LITERALLY across the street they were helpful and had my part for $13 dollars cheaper as well. Ive always liked auto zone. Wont be going to any of them in the area now.

I wish I could give 10 stars.Absolutely phenomenal service.My car battery was dead, and my positive terminal was corroded beyond repair. A staff member helped us find the right battery, helped us replace the terminal, and he was very patient with every small problem that we encountered until we got the job done.

Ive called 3 times 2 hours apart during open hours and NOBODY PICKS UP THE PHONE. If you had an emergency close there should be a message stating so, if your just avoiding customers you will continue to lose them. I used to use this Autozone but I WILL BE TAKING MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. I suggest OReilly, they are very close and answer their phones.

I was on a trip from Vegas to visit in laws and friends in Tacoma. Was sight seeing towards Oak Harbor, noticed my truck started shaking. Stopped at this Auto Zone and Zach came out with a tester, with in 5 minutes he told me it was my ignition coil # 6. He loaned me some tools, even came out to help a little bit. I thought that was awesome. Thank you Zach for all your help, and we did finally succeed in getting that cove off and replacing the coil. Some of the workers there are awesome, but some of them seem like they dont want to help you. Overall I was pleased with the service, i ordered parts online and they called me from the store the same day saying they already came in, which is amazing!EDIT: Autozone needs to get their online orders together. I ordered brake calipers online, and picked them up in store. I went to return my old calipers for the Core charge refund, and they couldnt find my order at all. The worker there was super helpful and got my problem solved, so it was no issue but definitely an annoyance on autozones part.

Both Chris and Will that work here are awesome. Younger one is very helpful and knows his stuff! The younger girl is always very nice too. Best parts store on Whidbey Island, try them first!

Went in to exchange an item on warranty. Was never explained why it would not be exchanged, but got a partial refund. By the looks of it, it appears the warranty is pro-rated based upon the amount of months left. No complaints there. From the moment I entered, the parts manager, Mike was helping. He proceeded with a 15 minute lecture, that I wasnt there to listen to. I tried to interject several times to move forward in the process, and he just kept on going. Mike was extremely rude. At one point, he was needed to plug a code in to the computer, so an employee went to grab him. He walked up to the wrong computer and proceeded to type the code in three times, while the associate tried to point out to him he was typing on the wrong computer. Non-responsive. I dont think he even knew where he was, yet alone what day it was. Ive shopped at Auto Zone for the past decade, but will never give them my business again. I have zero interest in being treated horribly for no reason, other than Mike being grumpy. Completely unprofessional and a customer was lost for life.

Very slow customer service! You may wait 5 minutes, or more, to check out. I get that counter workers may be helping others or on the phone but the Oak Harbor location is horribly slow. The only saving grace is that OReillys across the street in only slightly faster.

Ive started a restoration project but havent otherwise had my hand in a car for 15+ years. While there are 4 or so auto-parts stores in Oak Harbor, so far Ive wound up in AutoZone and theyve treated me well. Today I went in to get multiple starters & alternators bench tested (free!) -- abut 3Xs the request most people would request. I believe it was the manager who helped me -- he seemed a bit surprised, but happily worked through my pieces and answered my other questions. Ill gladly return with the polite & down-to-earth service Ive been receiving to support my restoration project.

An employee or two need to realize that we are not there to bother them. But, help keep them employed by spending money there.

I like this place. The best employee is a young guy named Chris. Hes always helpful in making suggestions and helping you find what you need. The other employees are ok. The one issue Ive run into is that they gave me the wrong brake parts for my Honda Accord twice. I had to go to the dealer for them. Other than that Ill keep coming back.

Its AutoZone. About all there is to it. Come with the part you are replacing if you can. Most employees only know enough to get themselves hurt so dont rely on them for extesive knowlege.

Staff have grown less and less helpful over the years.Theyre unhappy to help locating a specific part, and have a minimal understanding of auto parts.The manager is short with customers and complains about ORileys, depending on mood.They continue to hire staff with overt alternative lifestyles that make customers uncomfortable.

Always seem to have what I need in stock, love that they come outside to test stuff and troubleshoot with ya.

Was looking for a pedal position sensor so dude trys selling and telling me its in the throttle body then didnt believe me when I said their website sold them and its not close to the same part. I know they deal with incompatant people all day but at least listen to the customer. Know your stuff before you go in here.
