THIS STORE IS AMAZING! They have a lot of treasures and beautiful items that you can’t find anywhere! It’s like walking in a museum that you can touch and take home the stuff! I’ve noticed the bad reviews are a bunch of people who are the typical stingy customers. A lot of items in the store are priced the way it is cause majority of the stuff in the store are consignments. They need to make a bit of profit from the items as well. Also, usually when you go into an antique stores and it smells, it just smells like old antiques, not like bath and body works 🤷♀️. Jason and Chara are great people! They are the most kindest and caring people I have EVER met! They respect their customers and love to help them in the best of their ability! People tend to forget that small business owners are humans too and if they have an off day, that doesn’t make them a bad person. I give this place 5 stars cause they have such great pieces and if you don’t wanna pay it, they are other places to check out in town. 👍🏼
We visit this shop when we’re in area. Pretty spacious and lots of cool stuff. I wish I had all day to just look around. Jason was really nice and full of fun facts. Good to have a conversation with. We’ll be coming back again for sure when we visit the area again. If you like old, vintage and collectible items definitely have to check out this place.
Nice people but omg. The prices are crazy! I found the same cat mug that was more than what it was new online. Also a used small stuffed puppy for $10 bucks. Why go here when I can buy new things for cheaper when theres nothing different about the quality. 😬 🤷♀️
This place is like going back in a time machine to see all those things you have grown up with.
Outrageous prices on records and the comics you have to find yourself then let them look up a price that is for a graded book to charge you. They have no business selling these items. Save your time and do not go here, RUN AWAY FAST FORREST.
The owners are friendly and helpful. Many unique and interesting items are found within. Well worth a visit to browse through the many treasures and curiosities!
Great place to find an array of everything. The owners are nice and always willing to tell you about anything there.
Joke of a store. Over priced and the cashier couldn’t answer any questions. Had to make a call for the price of everything we inquired about and in return a price that was unreasonable. Very cluttered as well.
Would not recommend this place. Its a cluttered mess, smells & very high prices on items that are junk. Store doesnt follow rules by state, noone wears masks. The owner Jason so called wife is not nice.
It was around Sep or Oct when Jason contacted my wife asking us to come to a home staging they where doing by Mariners Cove, Oak Harbor to see if there were any items there we wanted. It ended up me moving heavy furniture out of the house for them and he did not even offer to pay me. Later on he contacted my wife again to ask us to help them with an estate sale they were getting ready to do and we were there from 11 am to 6 pm with our 6 year old daughter and once again they didnt even ask or bother to pay us for helping them move very heavy furniture from the attic to the garage all day. They also asked my wife to cover the store for one hour and she ended up being there for almost three hours without pay. His reason was it was Shark Week on TV and he had to take food to his wife. My wife almost missed our daughters Taekwondo class and I had to leave work early to make sure that didnt happen. Our friend Steven had them sell an antique doll. He called ahead of time to confirm with the store that they had his money. The Lady working at the counter could not get a hold of Jason, he wasnt answering his phone. Jasons excuses was the $60 was at the store and he couldnt find it. Steven did end up getting his money later on, not when it was promised. We also have a female friend who was hired on as a part-time employee and they never paid her for all of the days and hours she had worked at their store. I would leave zero stars if I could.
I love this place. They have so many beautiful things and the owners know every detail of the antiques in their store. Its defiantly a diamond in the ruff. If you get a chance to visit you wont be disappointed.
Freaken awesome store!!! i literally love everything they have in their shop. not only do they have quality antiques but the people who own it are genuine and very nice people who are fair and equal to everyone. you guys rock
Not open the hours stated. Snide voice message recording about not being open because of the shut down... Months after the shut down ended.
A unique antique shop. There are about 5-8 antique shops in a 20 mile radius, and this store is by far the most impressive. It has a much wider range of eclectic items. Aside from the usual knick knacks, furniture, etc, you can find a nice selection of things like records, action figures, comics, vintage video games, and a lot more. The owners are very friendly and very knowledgeable. They can easily go in depth about the items youre looking for. I highly recommend this store to anyone.
Love Oldish Stuff. The family that runs it has always been so kind to my family and I. Ive been a loyal customer for many years now.
We had an excellent experience with the owner and his team finding the perfect living room set for our home. Excellent service and great folks to work with. We had met them before at an estate sale that they were running and weve consistently had a great experience.
1/12/2020 My husband took all of Jason’s(owner)things that he wanted him to sell on EBay. He did, per his request. My husband asked Jason’s wife that was at the front counter if we could have our $50 back from a layaway. She said that Jason wasn’t there and we’d have to ask Jason because they were consignor items. (We were never told or shown of any layaway policy). When I was in their store, they told me that I didn’t have to put any money down. I gave them $50 anyways so that they knew I was being honest on my part. I have paid in full a layaway with them of about $400 in the past.1/16/2020 About 10am my husband called Jason at his store to ask about the $50. Jason said that they don’t give refunds on consigned items. (They never told us their layaway policy). Jason said that he called the people telling them their items have sold. And he would work something out. My husband said ok, I’ll call you later. My husband called Jason about 5hrs later. Jason said that he was busy working on his furnace at his house.1/19/2020 My husband has not been contacted by Jason to resolve this issue. The items I had on layaway was a lamp $100+, entry table $180 and glass painting $200+ My total was over $500+I asked my husband to get our $50 and all of my items returned from their daughter’s store Uniquely Put.1/11/2020 My reason for this is because I don’t feel SAFE around those people. They broke into my boss’s home on Fort Nugent Rd to retrieve their few pieces of furniture. All they had to do was ask one of us to unlock the house for them. They messed up the lock to one of the doors. My boss had to get something from his house and saw what had happened.Later in the week, Jason admitted to my boss in a text message that he was the one that did the Breaking & Entering.
What an eclectic little find in Oak Harbor. Jason is very knowledgeable about the treasures in his store. I collect dolls and bears. He will connect with me when new/old inventory comes in. You cannot see everything in his store without spending time on your treasure hunt.
I love this place! They have so much variety in the store. I never leave empty handed and look forward to every visit. The owners are fantastic and really do their best to learn as much as possible about their stock so they can answer any question. Great furniture pieces too!
Well personable! They know their stuff when helping with nerdy artifacts.
This place has a lot of really cool stuff. I picked up some great hard to find items at bargain prices. I recommend this place to anyone looking for some unique items or enjoys browsing neat oldish stuff (sorry for the pun).
Lots of great unique things. Helpful staff. Fun to look through and find just the right treasures. Something in the building gives me a headache though maybe some mildew?
Records are priced way too high. Comic books are not sorted, you pick out, he looks up high pricing and then wants you to buy a 4.0 book at 9.4 pricing.
This place has a little bit of everything. The owner is super nice and extremely helpful!I fell in LOVE with a China set and got it for a STEAL!! Great place to browse!
Its a nice place to browse but its very very packed and not much room for moving around without knocking into things
This shop is larger than it appears from the storefront, with several rooms crammed with vintage items. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The stock was a bit of a mess, though, and inconsistently priced.
Loveeeeee this place!!!! They always have what I need.
Awesome store! Great people! ALWAYS ENJOY TIME SPENT HERE!!
Very friendly and informative, a lot of antiques
A lot of cool stuff, most of it is very overpriced though.
Picked nice set of champagne flutes.
Huge variety
