Didnt have what I was looking for......but, had things I needed/wanted. Friendly, helpful staff. Love this place.

One of the best record selections not just in the Newbury chain but of any record store Ive been to. Better prices than my local Newbury as well. A wealth of variety and enough preowned records that that section alone could be its own record shop. I was in there for 3 and a half hours just to be certain that I wouldnt miss anything. Great staff too, Preston was super knowledgeable and helpful! It was a 2 hour drive for me but it was well worth the pilgrimage.

Its an understatement to say that I really, really appreciate that this store still exists. Entering gives the same vibe that I first got at the Newbury Street location in the early 90s (except way more spacious). It has weathered the digital download period, continuing to sell physical music (in addition to everything pop culture). Great vinyl selection compared to other Newbury Comics locations.

I got some kpop albums from this Newbury Comics and there are many nice choices, but there is one album I bought that was very damaged in the inside. The cover came off of the spine but stayed connected to the back. I tried hot gluing it back to the spine but now the spine looks very thick. Even though this happened I would still go back:) the album I bought was ‘NCT 2020 Resonance pt1’ by the way

I spent an hour shopping and didn’t even makeIt half way. I am completely jealous for those who have this treasure in their back yard.The shirts, the books, the pop, the subculture.Amazing.Don’t get me started on the music, this is American culture in its prime.

One of the best Newbury Comics out there with an amazing vinyl selection. They have both new and used with current and older musics including all genres. Staff is very friendly and store is clean. I drive 30 minutes to go to this one instead of my local one. Highly recommend for vinyl collectors!

Wow, what can I even try to say thats negative about this store. I cant find a thing. If you like interesting gifts or gag gifts, this place is for you. If you have an opinion and want to actually wear it, this place is good for you. If you love music, this place is amazing. Everything from records and record players, to c.d.s. and c.d. players. Original lps and singles on vinyl and so much, much more. Very cool and entertaining. The staff was ridiculously knowledgeable and friendly. Cant tell you how glad I am to have stumbled upon this place. It reminds me a little of a famous record store called, Shake it Records because it just has an underground type feel to it.. Even though its set up as if its completely commercialized. I havent done any research about the store and whether or not its a commercial chain thats just that cool or a large and well set up small business. Please go here, you will not regret at least checking it out. It could rub some people the wrong way but if your open minded and not uptight.. This place is for you.

Most comfortable I feel when shopping for vinyl... Other smaller places may have better, harder to find selections, but Im just looking for early 90s Alt Rock and Early Aughts Indie Rock, so its essentially Mecca

They have a great selection of comic books, records, Manga, and all sorts of paraphernalia from super hero shirts to Harry Potter board games. Staff are friendly as well!

Pretty cool got some manga and funko pops, and one of the employees told me that the manga was on a buy one get 4 deal so that saved me a lot of money

I was able to find almost everything I wanted except a Tom Petty T shirt. Overall a fun place to shop for rockers. No lines or hassles.

I went in looking for a very specific Vinyl Funko: Furby and could find it. What I did leave with though is the satisfaction of knowing that Newbury Comics keeps a penguin statue in every store.

Probably the largest store Ive shopped in and happened to be just passing by in my travels. Oh my goodness the back of the store has a huge assortment of used records. This of course was quite tantalizing as my goal was to seek out vinyl without putting a major dent in my wallet. Staff was courteous and efficient. Definitely will go again when I have more time to browse.

We love this Newbury Comics location! The store is huge with great selection. The staff is friendly. Plenty of parking and easy to get to on Route 1. If you are looking for pop culture things, Newbury Comics is the place. If you want one thats a little more laid back than the crowded ones closer to the city, this is the location for you.

The place to go for Funco bobbleheads. T-shirt collection needs replenishment, so couldnt find mine. Nice helpful staff. Huge vinyl LP assortment.

Iconic record store at one time. Hit and miss on vinyl but on pop culture collectables it is the destination for my kids.

The customer service was great. Any questions I had three staff were more than happy to answer. I was looking for a specific album and one guy helped me look for close to 5 whole minutes!

Albums are more expensive than other record shops. Still an interesting store with unique items but thats getting less and less. Now more Funko Pop figures than anything else. Used to be the hippest store around but its lost some luster in recent years

We drive 2 hours to go to this location. Its huge and always has something unique that I dont see at the other stores. Plus the staff is always helpful.

This is a wonderful spot to buy CDs or albums -- or to sell them. I sold some old albums that no one had listened to in years. I got a fair price.

Literally one of my favorite places for gifts!!!! The store is CLEAN, ORGANIZED, and the employees ROCK, literally and figuratively. They have everything from records, to comics, TV box sets, to screaming goats, cool cards, and an awesome selection of star wars stuff and socks!! Great place to grab the newest music releases, or find a gift for hard to shop people.

This is a really big store. Absolutely fantastic staff. Great variety of vinyl. Obviously lots of CDs and DVDS. Also t-shirts, tons of collectibles including a massive selection of funko pops, books, graphic novels, comics, clothes and socks, novelty gifts.

I always find something here for all my friends. Specialty items for everyone, from the game of thrones, to the Simpsons, to sports!! Best vinyl ever, and now audio cassettes are back!! Awesome clothing from tees to socks and sweatshirts. Staff are very knowledgeable about all kinds of music. Very enjoyable shopping experience!!!!

Knowledgeable and friendly staff, unique items that are fantastic for gift giving. Cool T-shirts and Hoodies you wont really find anywhere else. If youre disenchanted with buying retro T-shirts online because the quality of the print always stinks and you just wish there was a store for that, there is. Its Newbury Comics.

This Newbury Comics is one of the last strongholds of physical media. Eclectic selections of vinyl, CDs, and DVDs can be found. But, also that sense of home only a Newbury Comics can bring. Also the staff is amazing!! ❤️

This is one of the biggest stores in the area and it has walls lined with funko pop figures!!! Anyone you can think of!! It has an amazing amount of novelty pins, socks, pens and all the novelty glassware or tshirts and books you could ask for. I can spend hours looking at the comics and graphic novels. They have amazing pieces of Batman or Superman at prices that are not astronomical! I highly recommend this place if you are a lover of all things pop culture and comic books. The employees dont follow you around and they just let you walk around and take it all that is there for products and if you look like you need help they do ask but otherwise very personable and professional.

Huge music selection. This is a good place to buy new and used CDs and records. They only stock used music that is in great condition and the prices are excellent.

The Norwood Newbury Comics is a fun store. The staff is helpful and they have a wide selection of of the things youd go-to Newbury Comics for.

Hands down the best newbury store to discover new music. The vinyl section is incredible and the guy Rob who is usually sorting has always been more than willing to help me find something. Hurry up and go!

Newbury Comics is a music/comic book store that strikes a comfortable balance between large chain store and Mom and Pop neighborhood store. On the music side they have a large selection of both new and used music. When you enter the music section it becomes obvious that they have taken heed yo the vinyl revolution. A decade ago they were down to one bin of vinyl, but now the vinyl takes up more space than the compact disc sections. Every time I go in there the vinyl section is full of shoppers while the CD section has very few shoppers. If you are into vinyl Newbury Comics is the place for you. Whether you are just starting your vinyl collection or if youre one of the few who stayed with vinyl through the digital revolution Newbury Comics will have something for you. There is tons of classic used vinyl for decent prices if thats the way you want to go, but they will also have all of the new releases available. This particular Newbury Comics has a friendly staff. The man who sorts the vinyl seems to be there at all times and he is very helpful when you are looking for anything in particular. As far as the comic side of the store goes I am not a very good judge of that. I recommend this store to anyone looking for music. Its a real pleasure.

This is the best Newbury Comics location. They have the best selection of used vinyl in the area. Love going here for Record Store Day and whenever else Im in the area.

Prices on used records have increased recently. This is no longer a place you can dig for the incredible deals you once could. Record condition is unmarked, and now frequently poor but with a high price. I used to go in once a week- I know management has changed in this particular branch, and they have always handled the used record pricing for the other stores in and around Boston. But I just don’t see visiting as often anymore.

A fantastic selection of used vinyl here. The manager is routinely involved in buying up collections to put out on the sales floor. Keep an eye open for vinyl sales, and of course Record Store Day!
