The portable adjustable seat is excellent for my wife and I to maintain our posture while seated and reduce back pain. We each have our own adjusted for us.

Wow. Rebecca is amazing. I have such a bad back problem. She did not try to oversell. She walked me through all options and spent time showing me positions and really caring.

Reason for the two star review was the rudeness of the female staff member in the store today. She made rude comments rattling on toward my husband which we did not think was funny at all and then made a snarky comment about a book I had bought there. Why? This is NOT how you behave with a potential customer. We went to check out back support products which they do have but were way over priced! The young man who helped us was very nice but that woman? Maybe she should get another job. We might go back to see a teeter unit but not at the Northbrook location.

I went there after doing some research about pillows, because I was tired of waking up with a headache. Becky listened to my concerns and had me try out many side sleeper pillows while she checked my alignment. The pillow I bought has really improved my sleep. They also had massage chairs set up, and very nicely allowed us to relax in them. Great store and fabulous service!

Answered all my questions and had detailed knowledge. Would highly recommend to anyone to at least stop in and look around (best of all try out the equipment). Was not pressured at all. Overall A+ experience.

Be aware of their 30 day return policy before you buy. Was not satisfied with a product I bought here and they refused to return it despite the pandemic. The employee I spoke to was rude and condescending when I tried to explain what I didn’t like about it. He did try to show me some adjustments I could try but then walked away without saying anything to help another customer. Seem to be only concerned with sales not satisfaction here.

The very best place if you have back or neck issues. Products are numerous and you can find something to fit your needs. Kudos to Louie, who has taken care of me for years and know exactly what products I need for my back and my neck. Highly recommend the store and Louie.

I visited the Northbrook store 3 times before I purchased my zero gravity recliner. Lewis, my salesman, was as knowledgeable as you could only hope a salesman could be. After giving me the pros and cons of the various chairs, he left me alone to sit and enjoy the features of the different models. When my chair was delivered, the heat feature of the chair was not working. Lewis had the customer service people contact me directly and the issue was corrected within the week. I have no hesitation giving 5 stars to this location of Relax The Back.

This store is wonderful if you have any back issues. The office chairs are one of the best I have ever experienced. I will be getting a zero gravity chair. Thanks for letting me try your awesome message chair.

This place has a great selection of products and the owners are well informed about multiple back related issues. They were even kind enough to stay open a little late so my wife and I could pick up our new inversion table after work. Great experience, recommended highly, support local before getting anything online.

Turn over a new leaf for the New Year and invest in yourself! Ive limped along for years with back and neck discomfort related to long hours of computer work. Ive purchased numerous chairs online (Herman Miller, Leap Chair, etc. ) and spent a bundle to try and solve the issues myself. But honestly I feel so fortunate to have found Relax the Back because there is no substitute for engaging the services of someone knowledgeable in workstation ergonomics. Robyn helped me get the right tools to eliminate the stress on my body and then had her expert staff come out to my home office for the delivery to ensure that I knew the optimal way to set up my new chair and other accessories. I consider this one of the best investments in my health to date!

Ive been going here for a few years now for pillows, chairs and other tools to help with back/neck pain. I highly recommend this store. The owner and staff are friendly and helpful and have a variety of merchandise available which you can try at the store before purchasing. I found out recently that they even rent their massage chairs (2 week minimum).

What a great store for anybody with a bad back and/or many other ailments. Robin is very helpful and will get you what you need. I already feel better using my new office chair and foot roller for my plantar fasciitis.

Great staff and products. Unfortunately I bought a large contour pillow wedge that felt great in the store but after several nights at home my neck is worse. I would not at all recommend it for a number of reasons. too bad it is not returnable. Am now stuck with an expensive, gigantic foam wedge

I have made two large purchases from Relax the Back in Northbrook. The first was a standup desk, chair, and monitor arm. The 2nd, most recently, was an anti gravity chair for home. In both cases, the goal was to reduce some chronic pain that was experiencing from sitting at work and sitting on a couch at home. The staff helped me evaluate both sets of products, and assisted with every aspect of the purchase, including calling my home after delivery to make sure I was both satisfied and informed about how to get the most therapeutic benefit from the products. While the folks in the store are working in sales, they do not try to oversell. Rather, they provide information and guidance on the selection of great products.
