Great experience when I purchased my new 2022 corrolla hatchback. I worked with Julian and he was very knowledgeable and was not pushy as some sales men can be. Staff was great and they were strict on mask wearing. Will definitely come back for future service.
We were in Chicago two weeks ago, and my son-in-law hit a speed bump with his Toyota Highlander. The suspension was making a weird noise and I didn’t want him driving back to Wisconsin with it so we tried to call several Toyota dealers the next morning, most of them didn’t want to see us. But Toyota on Edens squeezed him in, on a Saturday and he did need $3500 worth of suspension work. They showed me the work that needed to be done, it was all legit. They gave my son-in-law a loaner car for a week, and fixed everything. I want to say thank you to Michael Reyes and the other advisor who initially got us in.While I was in the waiting room I met long-term customers that told me I could trust Edens on Toyota, and I believe they were 100% correct.
I had a crazy day of running to dealerships all over the area and I will say that no one treated me with as much respect, consideration and thoughtfulness as Javier at Edens did. He was very comfortable to talk to and it felt easy to explain what I was looking for. It really felt like finding a car that was a good fit for me was a priority to him. He had a professional attitude while still being personable and easy going. I would recommend any of my friends and family over to him when theyre in the market for a car!
Whenever I have my car services taken here its always SATISFACTORY!!! Sometimes you need to be patient to wait a little longer....Id rather wait and making sure that my car is well checked. Today the guy in the Service Parts, was so kind to change my key battery. Small things like this makes customer happy like me!

It was terrible!! Be aware of they got you wheel lock and tools from your trunk and did not put them back!!!! It happened on me the SECOND time.I cant believe their management and discipline is still the same even they changed the ownership.
Came in for oil change and alignment, told that steering wheel also is not straight. Picked up the car, alignment was ok, but steering wheel still not straight. Will have to return to come back.
The ABSOLUTE worst on car service. Id give this a 0 star rating, however, thats not allowed, apparently. Our Corolla needed to be at a dealer for a recall item. The first time we came in the proper technician was off that day. Meaning, it required a certain level of training in order to complete the update. So, we made another time with the service department to come back. Given our schedule, we dropped it off the night before for an appointment today. As of 4p, the dealer could not offer me a status. Instead, my call was transferred around and told, they can only connect me to a voice mail as the best they could do. While I fully understand the techs are busy talking to customers, there could be a very simple and easy way to check the status of a car repair. Not only a lack of operational know how, but awful customer service.We did retrieve our car after a very short, less than friendly call that said our car was ready. Fine. Upon pulling away, the check engine light went on. After a review from our local mechanic, he deemed everything okay.Seemed like a cruel joke or ploy to return! As a follow up per the reply, the store has said theyve initiated contact without reaching me. Thats is 100% false. All of our contact information remains on file since theyve serviced our car. Its possible they dont really want to own up to their lack of effort which all makes sense given my experience.
Hardworking friendly and honest service reps and the techs did a great job fixing my car. I drive 15 min further than the previous Toyota dealership I was going to for service because Toyota on Edens is worth the extra distance/time!
My wife and I visited another Toyota dealer before visiting Toyota on Edens, but we were put off by the salesperson, who seemed to know very little about the RAV4 Hybrids and they didnt have the model we wanted, so we left and headed to Toyota on Edens. Salesman Javier Alvarez was very knowledgeable, as well as courteous and helpful. Manager Mike Townsend became engaged and ultimately put us into the RAV4 Hybrid Limited we wanted at a price that was agreeable. We even bought the extended 10 year insurance plan, suggested by the finance guy, as we quickly grasped that these new cars are way more complicated than the cars of 10 years ago. We are pleased with our purchase and with our overall experience.
This dealership lacks communication between staff. Bought a 2018 Camry a month ago from them but they lost the spare key and starter. The manager assured me that they’d get me a new key and starter for free. Weeks go by without hearing anything from them so I decided to call them. When I called I was informed that the key had been sitting there for a while and they weren’t sure why no one had reached out. I was nice and tried to be understanding, but today I went into get the key programmed, among other issues I had with the car, only to find out that they forgot to order the starter they’d promised. I waited two and a half hours and I now have to go in again on Friday. I now have to waste more time on something they already should’ve had ready for me. Extremely disappointed.
We were helped by Michael Reyes for service on our RAV. He did a wonderful job. We will come back anytime we need service for our 2 Toyota cars.
I just got the batteries switched out of my keys, they were super nice and did the job very quick. I was in and out the door in less than 10 minutes!
Charges dealership prices, provides Jiffy Lube service. If youre looking for a dealership service experience, look elsewhere.Some notes:- The first person who helped me was super nice. I feel bad leaving a crummy review because he was really awesome. This isnt his fault.- Dude at first desk wears mask UNDER chin, not even covering mouth, even when in customer cars. Come on.- Waiting room has no flat surface to work on while you wait, just a bunch of chairs, like a Jiffy Lube.- Like a dummy, I went for the filter replacement, which costs 4x the cost of the filter. They did it wrong, letting some junk into my cabin fan. Had to go back in to get it fixed. Would have been nice if somebody had at least said sorry about that.- They are not going to wash your car.
I dropped off my Toyota Highlander for service this evening, and I had a pleasant experience. Michael was my service provider, and he was fantastic—he was welcoming, incredibly professional, and clearly explained all the steps that were taken to service my SUV. I was also in and out in 30 minutes—pretty impressive for a thorough check-up.Many thanks to Michael and his service team for their professionalism, speedy service, and attention to detail this evening!
The service here was fine. I was in and out quickly. However, I was made extremely uncomfortable by the lack of mask-wearing at this establishment. The main person I dealt with had his mask completely under his chin the entire time, covering nothing as he talked to me and walked around the facility, and another employee I talked to did not cover his nose with his mask. The waiting room was small and the 4 chairs available were bunched together. There was a customer in the waiting room with me who did not have his mask on, and I understand he is not an employee, but I should not have had to wait in a small room with someone unmasked for ~45 minutes. Someone should have made sure that didnt happen. I felt unsafe.The part that made me the most uncomfortable was that the person who pulled my car around when they were done drove in my car with his mask under his chin. He was sitting in my car without a mask on! And then I had to drive home! I left my mask on and rolled down my windows on my way home.I never leave negative reviews, but I dont think anyone should have to feel unsafe or be potentially exposed to a virus just because they need to get their car fixed.
Please stay away from the service department!I recently purchased a vehicle (Sales team Javier and Alex were wonderful!) from here and had to take it in due to a light being out and to get other things taken care of. I was told to bring it in after work at 5 pm and so I did.I wasnt aware that the service area closed at 6:30.It was 7 pm and no one came to tell me whats happening to my car. I got up and noticed no one was in the service area. I had to walk up to sales and thankfully there were still people there who told me service closed at 6:30.I was left in the waiting area while the only advisor there left to go home.How could anyone leave a new customer waiting and go home for the night?Please stay away.
I’ve been scheduled for my Lexus nx200 foroil change at 12pm 07/08/2021. When I get to Toyota of Eden’s service I’ve been told to wait for 1 hour and 30min. I’ve been waiting till to and my car wasn’t ready. I’ve been told to wait for another 25 min. Now it is 2:25 pm, my car isn’t ready yet. Spend 3 hours for scheduled oil change is too much. Very frustrating experience.
Not sure the point of making an appointment.. I had to wait over a half hour past my appointment time to even talk to someone. Clearly their system is faulty.

You would get no stars if I were able to do so. Asked when I scheduled my car for servicing if I would ‘be waiting” while repairs were made. This was for a contract I purchased (btw) for wheel/dents/key replacement when I purchased my car new last year. A policy which was quite costly, I might add. NEVER AGAIN!! Not only did I find out when I arrived that it would be a two day hold on my car, but two days became four days with no remedy. Apologies don’t help when one needs their car for work. No loaner was available...huh??? What is your policy again??? Terrible service. I never had these issues before your recent ownership transfer. BUYERS BEWARE!!!! The service here is atrocious!
Had some weather stripping come loose on the roof of our toyota rav 4. The employee replaced the adhesive in less than 15 minutes free of charge. Great experience.

Toyota Edens in Northbrook in Northbrook is a real gem of a dealership for service. Everyone I came in contact with including Akex who helped me get a service appointment, tries their absolute best to help you and they succeed. I recently took my car in for service for a major electrical problem and everyone could not be more helpful or professional. I highly recommend Michael Ryes, the Service Advisor who took care of me and did such a great job that I was satisfied beyond my expectations. He kept me informed of the progress of my car and gave me a number of options without any pressure at all. The estimate was the amount I paid and the technician Francisco was able to diagnose the problem in no time. Although Edens Toyota is not the closest dealer for me, it’s worth the drive. Even if Edens Toyota were located in Wisconsin. I would come back for service. It’s just that good.

I had a terrible experience with their Toyota Service Department. I brought my Toyota Corolla for an airbag change. A soon as I got my car back I found out that some of the dashboards parts were misaligned and improperly installed. Also I found out that one of the ventilation outlet was broken. It was obvious that during disassembling- assembling process the lame technician broke it. I immediately brought attention to the manager. So the first problem was corrected- the dashboard was reinstalled properly. But for the broken ventilation outlet I had to spent additional days and time waiting when the spare part will be ordered and broken part would be fixed.My advise: Try to stay away from their service department because you never know what kind of technician would serve your car. Its like hit or miss. In my case I have got a very bad, inexperienced tech who did this mess. Imagine if this tech would try to fix something more important in your car like brake system etc. It may put your life in danger.
From the first time I contacted TOE, Ive been impressed. I made them an offer on an in demad vehicle and they met me half way. I drove 5 hours to pick the vehicle up and there were no surprises. Everything was very transparant and professional. I spoke with a number of sales people and finace people and all were very friendly; one even thanked me for driving so far. Daniel Kim was my direct contact, he was very efficient and recommended a great place to eat.
Tried to call ahead and nobody answered. Showed up for a simple change of a head light that had taken minutes in the past and landed up taking an hour. Wish the old ownership was still running this place...

They had previously diagnosed and replaced a ball bearing in one of my wheels. My car started making the same noise and I told them I thought the ball bearing was messed up again. This time they told me the way the sequoia is designed, there is a part of the wheel that rubs the inside of car and it is going to make some noise and not to worry about it. When my car was due for its next oil change, I took it to a different toyota dealership. They immediately told me that a ball bearing on my wheel was shot and that I am lucky I didn’t get stranded somewhere with a busted wheel. I will never take my car in there again and I will tell everyone I know to do the same.
This review is ONLY for KEVIN at this location. I haven’t had great customer service at this dealership as a whole, but Kevin has made up for three years of unnecessary stress I’ve had to go through with this location.Long story short there was a miscommunication about my warranty and roadside assistance. Kevin spent an hour on hold and speaking to roadside assistance reps and supervisors to take care of me. He went above and beyond to accommodate me. He was compassionate, patient, and 100% genuine. In this day and age that is so rare to find. He was a real joy today and brought laughter to a very frustrating situation.I hope he is being treated as well as he treats others at this dealership. He deserves the best. I am so grateful for all that he did today.

None of there dealerships.

Sorry, I dont like to leave negative reviews because there are probably some good people working here. This dealership failed with their service department twice so I thought it was worth the public service announcement. My service advisor here was not only rude but was greatly lacking in his understanding basic automotive fundamentals. I felt bad for the people sitting in the waiting room with no knowledge of automotive systems or repair. Note there are other capable and friendly places you can go.
Brought my Corolla in for a recall in regard to Air Bag problems. As far as I know all is well. Here are a few things that could be handled more professionally. 1) Door entry threshold on drivers side was filthy. 2) Passenger side entry panel located on the center console was left partially open. 3) Seat was not returned to near original position. 4) USB cords were not retuned to their receptacles. 5) Radio station was changed. This lack of follow through defines the attitude of people who are not committed to excellence.

I arrived just recently after viewing a Certified Avalon online. It was priced at a private party price when compared to Kelly Blue Book. I connected with Jay as soon as I walked into the dealership and told him what I wanted to take a look at. It was just as described and very clean. It was amazing to find out that I was able to receive a 12 month bumper to bumper warranty (Certified Warranty) on a car with 39K. This greatly added to the purchase as it was already included in the price. Jay was very professional and considerate and I would highly recommend him if you need to make a choice on a salesman. Damien was the finance manager and he was a class act. He was non pressuring when it came to warranties. This was the time I dreaded in the purchase process but as a result of his professionalism Ive already been back online looking for a car for my son. I had a great car buying experience here with Adem! I had been to a few other dealers in the days before, and the Northbrook Toyota group was definitely more knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful than the others in my process. I worked with Adem and I highly recommend him. He answered my questions based on his many experiences with cars, and he was laid back & not overtly salesy, which made the time much less stressful than at other dealers, and made me more sure of my decision since it was not pressured nor based on gimmicks.I was very happy with the financing rate they got for my loan too by running it through a few banks. And I was even able to find and set up my car insurance using a computer at the shop since I had not owned my own car before, so I could drive away with it that day. 10/10 recommend - thank you!!
Heat shield replacement. Quick and reasonable estimate. Car is quieter than its been in awhile! Good communication from Alan in the service department. Friendly shuttle driver, Victor, got me to and from the office safely - knew good routes! Not a complicated, time consuming, expensive repair but received good, quick service.

When my maintenance was to be substantially more than I expected, she explained fully why and what needed to be done. She also voluntarily find a coupon reducing my total by 10%.She gave me a loaner vehicle and the brake work was finished in less time than expected.I have always had a good experience at Northbrook Toyota.
Brought my car in for service. I noticed the next day that there was a large scratch on my car. I only drove home from the dealer, so I know it was Northbrook Toyota. I called and they said I had to speak to Wayne. After finally reaching him, he said to bring my car in. I did the same day. He asked to give him a day to do some research and he would get back to me in the next day. Two days later I reached out to him and he said hed call me no later than the next day as he had to pull the service records. As you might have guessed that call never came. I have called daily and have left messages each day. Wayne has not returned my calls. It has been 18 days since they damaged my car.They obviously DO NOT care about their customers.UPDATE: I went in and spoke to GM Mark Tames who after 1 minute fixed the issue. Within 24 hours my car was in a repair shop. Eddie Perez was great in keeping me informed on the repair progress. These 2 men have restored my faith in Northbrook Toyota
I was thrilled with the service I received yesterday at Northbrook Toyota. First, it was easy to make an online appointment at a time convenient to me. Then when I arrived, Reggie was ready for me and assisted me immediately. He then arranged for my recall service to be completed in half the time I expected. I had some tea and read the newspaper (Reggie gave me his paper when I realized I forgot my book) and before I knew it, my car was ready. I will be back!
I have been going here for I think 18 years. I’ve worked with Eddie Perez for what I think is at least a decade. The service is always great and truthfully I feel like Eddie is a family friend more than a Toyota employee. He always responds promptly to calls and seems to always fit me in, as I am not very good at planning ahead. Also I feel he is always making an effort to get me the best price for services. I have worked with some other people here and they have all been very good as well.
The reason car salesmen have such a bad reputation are because of people like the salesmen at Northbrook Toyota. No shame or even trying to hide the fact that they want to completely screw you out of your money
This place is amazing! Larry Breitman is the best car sales person I have ever met during . The show room looks a bit tight . But it doesnt prevent you getting the best experience. Larry helped me to find out what I really need instead of pushing me to buy a car.I am happy for my experience before sales, during sales and after sales!
I’ve been bringing my 1998 Toyota Camry to Northbrook Toyota since I bought the car. Service is very good. Staff helpful and pleasant. However, paying $60+ to put on a license plate, regardless of how difficult it was to take out the old screws, is outrageous.
I was very impressed with the service I received today at Northbrook Toyota. Brian J. was may service adviser and he did a great job. He made sure all my questions were answered and issues addressed. The best part was that when I told him I needed to leave by a certain time, he really tried hard to make it happen in the time frame I needed. Thank you!

A $200 oil change??!! Oh I asked for the 60,000 mile service so they made up something they called the Select Care C and rather than charge me the $54.95 posted on their website, they charged me $200 and took off $20 for an expired coupon they graciously accepted prior to telling me the total cost. When I asked to be refunded, they refused. I would drive to any other dealership before I trusted Northbrook Toyota with my service needs.
I am writing in praise of the Service Department at Northbrook Toyota and specifically, Reggie Price, the Assistant Service Manager, who has taken great care of my service needs for some years now. The quality of the care for my 4Runner has always been excellent, but it is Reggie who makes the difference and who makes the chore of the service call the most pleasant and supportive of experiences. His advice has always been appreciated and he has kept me safe on the long trips we take in our Toyota.
Was looking to upgrade my ride, replacing my 12-year-old Saab which I loved. The folks at Northbrook made me feel right at home and ultimately I went home with a 2016 Camry Hybrid. This vehicle was slightly used - as their service loaner - and was just like new. Got a super deal on price too.Over the past few months I have grown to love my new Camry and the gas mileage with the hybrid is just great. Very quiet and comfortable ride as well.

Was in for routine maintenance. I did have a scheduled appointment which helps. In and out w/ no issues. The car wash has been out of service for a long while which I always thought was as an added benefit. Would like to see it fixed and reintegrated in the service process.
The entire process was very fast, and the staff was very helpful. Anthony was able to find the car that I was looking for and get me a test drive very quickly. He was very knowledgeable about the features of the car and the services offered by the dealership. The final price was very reasonable.

My dad recently recently bought a car from Dennis Carolan at Northbrook Toyota and it was a perfect and comfortable experience. Absolutely no pressure or hard sell tactics like I had experienced at other dealerships in the past. My salesperson has such a nice, calm demeanor and was very informative. He asked us what we wanted and searched out to find it at a downstate dealership. The entire trade in transition was very smooth. Our salesperson set up the new vehicle for us and explained all the features. I am grateful for the time he took with us and the effort to make the entire experience positive.
In general I like their service department. If you get in their list, they usually send coupons which make the routine oil changes, tire rotation, etc competitive. They also have a shuttle service, which is great Id you need to drop off and get back to work (in the area).
I live in PA and was buying the car blind from Northbrook in IL. Alex promptly got me all the information I asked for and made sure everything went well. Because it was out of state it was a little complicated- paperwork going back and forth, shipping company, etc. Alex called/emailed/texted to keep me informed about what was happening. The service dept is full of wonderful folks. Alan and Reggie are honest, friendly and accommodating. They were especially busy last week with 12 days of below zero temps. When my daughters car window would not go up they told me to bring it in right away. A temporary fix was enough to get us through but they went ahead and did everything that was needed. I have purchased many cars at NB Toyota and would not go anywhere else.

My car buying experience is what you could expect so no direct complains there. My only forewarn for people looking to buy used from this dealership is that the description they have under my trade-in is almost 50% fiction. Just kinda makes you wonder.
I bought a used 2017 Toyota Camry from this Dealer. Two days after buying, I pull into a gas station and while trying to open the fuel door, the fuel lever wasnt working. I immediately drove to Northbrook Toyota. Good thing it was still open. I asked my sales guy to see whats the problem and he said its just small issue. Apparently it was not! They had to replace the whole lever because it was broken. And when I told this to the sales guy, he indirectly tries to blame it on me that I broke it. How can someone break a lever from the inside that too few days from buying? This is a sales guy, wholl say anything rubbish to cover the dealership fault. And then on Thursday, the service guys said Since I just bought it, it should be fixed for free. And they didnt have the spare part, so they had to order it. I was asked to come on Saturday. When I got there on Saturday, they said its a $300 work, theyll give it for $100. I have never a dealership that works this bad. A bunch of liars and crooks. In the end, the manager threw me out of the dealership for creating a ruckus and he said I apparently disrespected him and will call the cops on me for just trying to pull a paper that said Toyota Warranty on his desk, when I was just trying to talk to him because he was always on his cellphone. A disaster this place is. The true colors come out after they sell the car to you. Never trust them.UPDATE: So I managed to find the same genuine part online for $35 when they said the original cost is $300.
We own 2 Toyota vehicles, one from Northbrook Toyota and one not. I would NEVER recommend Northbrook Toyota to anyone and will not be returning here under any circumstances. Took our vehicle that we purchased at Northbrook Toyota to be serviced at another Toyota dealer last night and it was a great experience. I have had the not so pleasant experience to interact with 2 different managers at Northbrook Toyota and both were rude and demeaning. The only nice thing I can say is that their finance guy is awesome, jump ship dude, youre better than this place.
Our sales person Anthony Jiminez was decent and informative, he ought to have gotten 4 stars at least, the finance person attempting to change the purchase agreement to increase the interest rates and using lies and high pressure tactics to sell us additional services we werent informed about prior to signing paperwork and didnt want, gets 0 stars.Update: downgraded from 3 stars to 2 stars after our first encounter with the service department which was far from pleasant and included an attempt to charge more than had been agreed to in writing beforehand. Then downgraded from 2 to 1 when I had go to great lengths to get them they stop contacting me with high pressure emails about expensive service packages and suggestions to trade in and/or buy another vehicle.
Sales: We had an excellent experience with Salesmen Adem. We have been searching for a car since April and been to several dealerships and had to deal with price haggling, unfriendly/difficult staff (Toyota of Arlington) and sleazy salesmen. As soon as we entered Toyota of Northbrook, Adem was not only extremely friendly and knowledgeable but also very genuine; which is a rarity. He showed us the car we came for, was on top of all the features and specs, and made the whole car buying process quick and easy. He was polite, a great listener and very impressed in his manners. I would highly recommend going to him for your car buying experience.

I just wanted to write something, which I dont normally do, because I actually felt that they deserve to hear good things from pleased customers! I went to Northbrook Toyota for the first time for a regular scheduled maintenance (20000 miles), because it is on my way to work. I made an appointment online, which was easy. Eddie helped me get my paperwork set us up, was very polite, and even showed me to the waiting room, and said goodbye to me when I left. I waited 1 hour, and was out of there.This may not sound like anything special, but I bought my car at a dealership in Chicago, and had been taking my car there for service. It was always an annoying ordeal. I once waited 2.5 hours for an oil change. Another time I was waiting an hour and a half in the waiting room, no one came to find me, I had to go ask if my car was ready, and it took them way too long to figure out if it was.Thank you Eddie and the rest of the staff at Northbrook Toyota for your excellent customer service! I wish I had bought my car from your dealership!
This is a notice to the management here. I was considering purchasing a Highlander Hybrid at your dealership. I just read the reviews on here. I will not even waste my time calling this place.You better get your management under control. They are costing you business.
They dont understand the phrase Im not interested or stop calling me.I was looking at Scion tCs in my recent search for a new car, and Northbrook had one at the same asking price but half the miles as St Charles. I filled out an online inquiry.A few days later, I found a different vehicle from a different manufacturer that suited me better and told them I was no longer interested in their vehicle.That was over a week ago. Theyre still calling me, several times a week, still trying to sell me the tC.
I have four Toyotas, all serviced here. These guys are great! Fast service, good work, reasonable prices.
Alex Kazhdan was really good and helpful. He provided good service and advice and was very much to the point. His attitude was very friendly and warm. The whole car buying experience was very easy and simple.

I have purchased and leased many vehicles, yet I have never encountered a sales person like him. No pressure, great product knowledge, ability to listen and understand customers needs. I enjoy working with Larry, he is straightforward and you can have a real conversation with him. He is happy to put the time in to educate you about a cars features and pros and cons; and he met me at a time convenient for me to complete my purchase at a nice price.

In reading the reviews it appears SERVICE is pretty good. However, Sales at Northbrook Toyota leaves much to be desired. Walked in on a Friday afternoon and had to approach someone just to let them know I was looking for a new RAV4.Secondly, as a potential new customer who test drove and started to discuss numbers, I would expect sales to be transparent and keep commitments. This is not the case here.
Bought and service here. Will continue to do so. Great sales experience and Reggie takes care of my service.

I have been a customer of Northbrook Toyota for 14 years; I recently purchased my third Camry. Scott S. has been wonderful; I get nervous buying a car when I am out of my comfort zone, but I trust Scott. Reggie Price has been my point man in the service department for 14 years. He has always been honest, knowledgeable, and accommodating. He tells me what I need. I call him when I think my car is due for service. I tell him the current mileage, and he tells me if/when I need to bring my car in. I trust him.
Love my 2008 Subaru Legacy I got from here but my sales guy (Alex?)completely disregarded that I had specifically asked to be financed by Capital One and that is ALL. No other inquiry other than Capital One. Come to find out they ran 5 different other banks! Complete disrespect!! Never coming back!
