Tried charging me 2100$ for their truck breaking down. After disputing it and them not contacting me went behind my back and drained my bank account to 0.00 they are actual scammers and i dont reccomend doing any sort of transactions with them.

We had issues when picking up our reserved U-Haul from two other locations in MA because the lock boxes were not working, so this was our third location. The younger guy working was extremely helpful and apologetic, that our experience up until that point was frustrating. He even helped us get a better rate. If I need to rent U-Hauls in the future it will be directly from this branch.

My husband and I went to this location to inquire about a unit we saw online. The guy greeted us right away when we came in, which was nice, however, he ended being very rude. We didnt realize there wasnt an elevator and the unit was upstairs. Since it was just the two of us and we had heavy boxes we werent sure how many stairs and how far away the unit would be. When we asked the guy almost seemed irritated. His answer was, Well, I dont know. Id have to look at a different screen to answer that. At that point my husband just asked to see the unit before agreeing to the rental. Again, the guy looked irritated by that and began a speech of, Well thats the only one available... So on and so on. We didnt ask if it was the only one available, we asked to see it. When I pointed out that he could be nicer he argued and said I misunderstood him. I worked in retail for 10 years. Im not a difficult customer. This man clearly did not want to do any extra work and was unhappy at his job. Unfortunately for the company, they lost our business.

Was double charged and an employee said that the manager would call me to resolve. Have not been contacted yet and when I went down there to complain the guy agreed I was double charged but didnt know what to do. Guess you got to stay on top of these guys.

This was the best place in whole providence to get my hitch wiring done. I went to couple of U-Haul location in Pawtucket and providence and it was bad customer service experience. Finally I could not believe it was not supposed to be that difficult after coming at this location. Tom fixed the wiring in no time and helped us keep going with our move. I highly recommend this place of you struggling with uhal issues

Great experience, staff was very helpful and efficient, the van was just the right size for my purposes. Though it was a beast of a vehicle, not too hard to drive. The price per mile, plus refilling the gas tank made the rental expensive in my opinion (roughly $90 all told). However it made my moving experience so much smoother in the end.

Was able to get last minute booking. Customer service was great and it was pleasant experience.

Great experience! Very nice and helpful. Customer service center has everything and very clean. The only downfall was it was a busy college move-in weekend and i waited 45 min in line due to only 2 people working and checking people out. They could have used an extra hand, but besides that i would highly recommend.

Poor service have me waiting along time just to fill up my propane tank

We made our reservation at a different Uhaul location and when we arrived here to pick it up, there was an issue with our reservation. We were moving only a few hours later, so Tom was able to resolve the issue and get us on the road in no time! His outstanding customer service earned this 5-star review!

My customer service representative Marilyn was very kind and considerate on my storage needs and made my first storage experience quick and easy in every way.

To my knowledge there is only one entrance/exit and it happens to be accessible via the highway. Merging many lanes of busy traffic is usually difficult and even more so when driving one of the many moving trucks and vehicles they have to offer.The facility however is very clean and professional, I have personally had no issues regarding their customer service. The facility is not currently 24hrs but I believe that will be changing as the location is still relatively new.Overall, it is a good location and is just in the process of expanding the new building and its services.

Very friendly and helpful staff and the store is well stocked and clean. I stopped in and asked to measure a truck to be sure it would go up my steep driveway before renting. The manager brought me out to the right truck and actually helped me measure it. He spent at least 15 minutes with me and gave me lots of good moving advice while doing it. Would definitely use this location for everything I need going forward.

This UHaul location is beautiful! It is huge, clean, and super organized. Everyone here is very helpful and accommodating especially Dallas - she rocks!!! Thank you! Will definitely be here again.

I rented a van back in January 2019 and the price was only $80 or so traveling 80 miles, gas price and all and I despise other companies requiring an astronomical pay of $150+ just to deposit, nevermind gas cost. They are clean, thorough and customer service was exemplary!

Very good place, its huge and always they have everything. This is the best place to go if you are moving. They have boxes too. The service is excellent.

Absolute worst experience in my life. Never renting from uhaul again. Had 4 contracts in system before dates were corrected, before leaving Florida. Everything was supposed to be correct when I left Florida. Upon returning my car carrier to the NS facility, they never checked it in. Said policy was not to check it in until truck was also returned. I returned the car carrier early, so we could unload the truck as I had no where to put it detached from the truck. Got a rude accusatory phone call the next day about truck not being returned on time. The contract was not updated. Called corporate. Upon returning truck, i was totally screamed at by manager at facility. He said I had no right calling corporate. I had to leave because situation was escalating and we was chasing me out the building as I tried to walk away. Felt like it was going to escalate into a physical altercation as he would not back down after I said I was done talking to him. I got in my car, and he tried to scream at me through the closed window and proceeded to talk to my wife stating his side. He was lucky I kept my cool. Still dont have any paperwork regarding return. Corporate had to check everything in, as he did not. Management involved now. Reviewing case.Want good service? Use penske.

Worst experience ever they keep charging Over ever step of the way no one wearing masks and truck was never cleaned rudest people in my life I’ve rented over 50 trucks in my time they are the worst I’ve ever dealt with stay away from this location if you do go hold on to your wallet as tight as possible

Ive been to probably 80 Uhauls all around the country. Tom here is absolutely the best person working at Uhaul period.You know how you pull up to the propane at most Uhaul locations and cant get someone to fill it? Takes like half an hour? Not here!!Tom was already coming out to fill my propane before I shut off my vehicle.I have storage here and he was super helpful with that too.Tom makes this Uhaul one of the best customer service businesses Ive ever been too. Definitely store your stuff here, rent trucks and get propane. So easy...

After having bought Uhauls before, my roommate and I are aware they all have come with locks to lock up the back. Not here at the North Springfield location, however we didnt notice this till we had fully loaded our 10 truck and had to leave it overnight. We live in an awful area and theres no doubt that it wouldve been robbed. We had to drive our uhaul even further to back it up to a wall so no one could get in. Hope if for Uhaul to make it right we called and told them what happened. We were quickly dismissed and told not all of our uhauls come with locks. Needless to say I will never recommend nor use North Smithfield again.

The worst experience I have ever had in my entire life !i made a reservation for a month long rental the prior day at there location,upon arrival I was greeted by the General manager who I told I am here I am here to pick up my rental he immediately said how long I needed it for I told him I reserved it yesterday with a very nice service agent !He immediately told me I dont care what you did yesterday really ?he said there is no way you can have a truck for a month and only put on a few hundred miles .i had already explained that the move was a short move away but it a business and it would take more time than miles .he immediately started to be rude, confrontational losing his mind he is no way a person to represent a company like that if I didnt need that vehicle I would have canceled on the spot .i Spey 1600 dollars on that rental and I rent often ! Awful awful experience very sad to see this never ever will I walk into that place
