Bought a car in a dealership. Car had been fixed by Higgins after a moderate crash but the blind spot sensor wasnt working.Dealership gave me a hard time but ended referring me to Higgins.They did a great job replacing the sensor (under warranty) and were very easy to deal with .Besides that, I took the car to my mechanic for inspection and he said whoever fixed this car after the crash did a great job .

Pretty impressed as a first time customer.Dropped off Friday, picked up Monday. Still not sure how it was finished in such a short amount of time. It looks great. Better actually than when we bought it.The only thing I would recommend as an improvement would be better communication with the customer. I called a few days before to schedule a time for drop off which ended up being Friday. When I showed up they were a bit confused as to who I was and what vehicle I had. I was going off of the information I had received when scheduling which said I could drop off for estimate and repair at the same time. Evidently they like to do an estimate and then schedule for a repair at a later date. So after all of that confusion and receiving an estimate the following Monday, when they called and said that it was ready for pickup I fully expected it to not be repaired and that I would have to bring it back later. Well little did I know they had been working on it and somehow finished it in two working days. Not complaining one bit about the quality of the work. I was just confused about the process the entire time.Thanks for the job well done and I will be a return customer.

We had a great experience here! Our new car was severely damaged by the wind storm in September so we took it to Higgins. Luis was so kind and kept us updated on everything the whole time. He worked with our insurance to get things approved, took it to the Mazda dealership to get it recalibrated, and made sure we were taken care of. It took about a month, but that was because they had to rebuild the whole left side of our car, they were slammed from the wind storm, and also our insurance caused some delays. We had a great experience and I will definitely go there again if we ever need any other work done.

I took my car to an auto mechanic in Centerville Utah who told me I needed $2k to get my car fixed. He also advised me to not drive it until he fixed it. I then took my car to Higgins in North Salt Lake. Luis helped me. He was understand and thorough. To be perfectly honest ...... everyone there was warm and welcoming. They were honest and were able to fix my car right then and there. The part they fixed was a warrantied part so there was no cost out of pocket for me. They called my insurance company and took care of everything. I will never go to anyone other than Higgins to have my car fixed. I love them!!!!!!!!!

Stay away from this company as far as you can, they are unethical and have poor business practices. Just went in for a quote and they starting taking my vehicle apart without even giving me a written estimate, who does that? Then they made me pay to put it back together afterwards, crazy experience.

I work directly with them at my shop master muffler. I repeatedly saw the excellent work they do. So naturally when I needed repairs myself I went to them without hesitation. They matched my color perfectly and even replaced my after market parts with equal and better parts. I don’t recommend needed them but if you do I highly recommend using them above all others. Great customer service, fair pricing, very good work. My car looks brand new after having it fixed here. One thing I particularly am happy about with them is they asked me on the phone and in person whether I would like factory parts or after-market parts for my car. This is really important to me because my car is not even a year old, I dont want after-market parts that may not fit my car perfectly. The other body shop I went to just dropped three papers right in front of me to sign and one of them says that I allow them to use after-market parts. Im glad I read the papers before I signed. With that being said, I really do appreciate the service I received at Higgins.

I had a GREAT experience at this body shop. Its almost shocking how kind and outgoing everyone was from the moment I walked through the door. They gave me the lowest estimate out of the three places I looked at and paired with their awesome customer service, Higgins was a no-brainer choice. They knew I was paying out-of-pocket and finished working in the car in less time than anticipated, just to save me money on the rental car. When I went to pick up my car, there was a tiny little scratch they failed to buff out. Immediately, they took the car back in, fixed the spot and buffed out another area with scratches, even though I wasnt paying for work on that panel. If you (unfortunately) have to get any body work done, I highly recommend Higgins Body & Paint in North Salt Lake!

I brought my car in after being rear ended. Everyone in the NSL office was kind, professional, and helpful. Luis was upfront about damage/costs, kept me well informed throughout the process, and worked directly with the insurance company for payment. They took something I was dreading and made it seamless. They had my car out of the shop pretty quickly and it looks great! Hopefully I wont need to return for work, but wont hesitate to use them again if I need to.

These guys need to figure out their logistics. The requirements to receive a quote from this place is ridiculous. I wont get into what information they require but I will say that most of it is unnecessary and irrelevant to determining an estimate for labor and equipment cost. I would not recommend this place if your looking for a hassle-free customer service experience.

Not impressed with overall experience.The staff was friendly throughout the experience, but a friendly staff doesnt make up for the quality of work.After getting in an accident (front end damage), and after reading the reviews of this shop I decided to take my car here. They were very friendly and helped me to figure things out with the repair of my car. They repaired my car in a timely manner and notified me when it was complete.Heres where things start to go sour. After driving my car off the lot I noticed it start to overheat, I checked the oil and it was almost non-existent on the dipstick. I understand that the engine received no damage in the accident but they had told me they checked the fluids and why would they not make sure to check the oil after an accident? After topping off the oil I continued to drive and noticed that there was no heat, after I noticed this I drove it right back to the shop. They informed me that the process of the A/C was done incorrectly (after they replaced it) and that it was too difficult for them and they had to take it to the dealership to complete the repair correctly.After receiving the car back from them the second time, I noticed that there was a part missing that originally was on the vehicle. I told them and they said they would order it. They ordered it, and within a short time, they called me and told me it arrived. When I went to pick it up, they could not find the part. They ordered it a second time, when I went to pick it up again, they could not find it once again. Then they ordered it again only to find out it was the wrong part. Then they ordered it directly from the manufacture in Japan, it arrived, and again was the wrong part. They were never able to locate the correct part, but after the long hassle I just didn’t want to worry about it any longer.Also, when they first received the vehicle, they told me a Check Engine Light was on and instead of correctly diagnosing the problem they cleared the code. And of course the light came on after the drive cycle reset. It was an easy fix that I took care of myself, but the fact that it wasn’t taken care of correctly was a disappointment.The body work that they did on the vehicle was good, in fact it looked great, and I was impressed with their work. Then I opened the hood… I understand that they may have put used parts in the vehicle to keep the cost down, but I would have thought that they would CLEANED the parts before installing them. It looked like they were pulled out of an old car and stuck right in, and not only the parts they replaced, but any of the parts under the hood. The engine bay was left dirty and it could have been cleaned with ease.Overall, I wouldn’t go back here again.

We waited a long time for our Jeep to get done after an accident (waiting on specialty parts mostly), but NO ONE would ever notice because it looks so flawless. Great customer service too, I HIGHLY recommend. And especially for Jeep people - you can trust them to take good care of it for you!

Redwood Road location.December 2019 ----Walked in off of the street and Louis immediately paid me full attention. My issue was a small one yet he handled it like it was the most important in the shop. After a minor repair involving some loose molding, he made sure I understood what was done and why. He did the repair himself and sent me on my way at no charge. The shop, restroom and waiting area were spotless. All other employees were obviously dedicated and working together. I cant say enough good things about the experience here. Thanks Louis and I hope I spelled your name correctly. (Google gave me 8 variations) AUGUST 9th 2020 ----As fate would have it, the molding on the other side of my car was coming off. Again I took it to Higgins. Once again they took care of it even when the shop was busy. Shout out to Jerry & Mason who didnt have to go get it in for the service. I was happy to bring it back the next day. But Jerry insisted. And again they refused payment for the easy fix. Was able to chat with a few folks while I was waiting and everyone I talked to said they always bring their vehicles here. Nicely done Higgins.

Unfortunately my 2016 Toyota 4runner was rear ended. Higgins took care of everything with the insurance. Restored it to perfect condition. I received updates on my vehicle.This shop by far is the best Ive ever dealt with and is Farmers Insurance approved. Everything was paid electronically and all paperwork sent that way. Excellent work. I am embarrassed to say that we frequent Higgins with a number of vehicles, but they do excellent work, and quickly. I have personally had them redo a paint job that didnt match perfectly, and they were more than willing to ensure their work was of the highest quality, as well as their customer service. Called before I towed my car to get a collision repair estimate. Wouldnt give me the time of day. Too busy. Couldnt work on it till Jan. They told me they didnt want my business. Said a repair estimate wasnt even a question, they wouldnt do it and their lot was full so waiting was not an option. I would expect they could have told me that before I towed my car there.

Ive taken 2 of my cars to this location on multiple occasions and also had insurance issues during the holiday time I was hit 2 days before Christmas (and was pregnant at the time) Higgins took all the stress off of me helped make sure my rental car was taken care of because the insurance wouldnt approve anything during the holiday weeks they send your car home looking wounderful most recently took my 1 year old Mazda that is black with blue sparkles in the detail I was sure it would probably look slightly different but my back bumper looks AMAZING and my bumper looks exactly how I drove it off the lot brand new! :) everything about this shop makes it my favorite so I ALWAYS recommend them

Had a smashed windshield and pillar from debris on the freeway that was initially going to take a week or so, which ended up only taking them 3 days. Looks like nothing happened and I am extremely please with their work. They are also very pleasant and professional. I’d definitely work with them again.
