Horrible place in so many ways. Firstly, when I came in, the owner Terry asked me if I wanted him to put on a mask. Yikes! Secondly when I came back to do a return, Terry (no mask) said the store policy is no returns. Corp GNC does allow returns. And perhaps most importantly, he charged $39 for an item that another GNC store charged $9 for. Thats right. No typo here. This is a store owned by Terry, the franchisee, He can set his own prices and policies. Other stores have also gotten complaints about this store. If available, buy your pills at the Walmart next door.

This store is a disgrace to my name. The store owner is a scumbag, those prices are outrageous while amazon has the same thing half price and next day delivery with prime. I am ashamed that i am filing bankruptcy. I guess the only pill we didnt sell was the reality pill! Go figure.

Owner doesnt even price match despite marketing all over store

Do not go to this location, the usual middle aged man with grey hair that is at the register is the most miserable person on the planet, and I used to work in retail so I get it isnt the most exciting job but this guy will sigh out loud as if he cant deal with being inconvenienced that a customer decided to come in. He has zero people skills and even had a woman make the same comment as well as she walked by me after she asked a question and decided to leave. He is rude if you ask him anything and will stare at you the entire time while you are in there almost to a point where you feel uncomfortable and just want to leave before buying anything. (You would think he would want to make money rather than driving customers away???) He also wasnt wearing a mask at any point while I was in there... the Stoneham one has much more pleasant employees I would suggest making the extra 15 min drive there instead

If I could give zero stars I would . I walk in this man at the register ignores me I was clearly looking for help . Later realize he is the owner oh my goodness the rudeness man ever. So anyway I bought an energy drink and protein bar he rings me up came to $9.00 I said how much is each he told me the prices I thought wow ok . I liked the products want to buy more I went to another Gnc and the vitamin shop the same products were more then half the price . This guy ripped me off I knew he was thats why I questioned him. What a aweful man . I just feel gipped . What a snake. Dont go here !

The man that runs this store is a franchise-owner and because of that he creates his own prices which are completely raised compared to corporate stores. Not only does he do that but gives putrid customer service. Never want to see a local business fail but if I had to choose one it would be this scumbag

Despite seeing negative reviews of the owner and this GNC, Ive had a very pleasurable experience every time Ive walked into this store and it is the reason I keep coming back. Hes a friendly guy if you just do yourself the favor of talking to him. I will continue to shop at this GNC, thanks Terry.

The owner- and seemingly the only employee- is unbelievably rude and off-putting. He also marks up everything in the store a good $7 more than all other GNCs (including the website). We get it, youre upset that youre the only person in America who thought it was a good idea to franchise a GNC. Maybe if you werent so unfriendly and unhelpful to everyone who walked in the door, youd be able to sell a product or two and offload that useless storage room you call a store.

The worst gnc I’ve ever been to.. guy at the register was very rude has no business running that store. Almost all the products are not marked so he easily prices it up to his liking, also as he was saying to another customer he’s alone in that store & no one else really works there but him so beware he will be there and always be rude. I would not advise anyone to go in this gnc.

Terry is a great guy buy 1 hand sanitizer 2and one 1/2 off has washable masks too. Go shop yhere.

Terry is so knowledgeable unbelievable customer service let’s remember he is a franchise owner 99% of GNC’s are corporate owned he’s a franchise owner and is still open for us to get our supplements big shout terry !!!!!! you’ve earned a friend and customer for life !!

Always check the online reviews of a store, as it will save you from a bad experience like this. Items were deliberately unmarked so the prices could be gouged. For example, Terry was selling Uncle Bud’s Hand Sanitizer for $30, which only goes for $9.99 online.That’s a 200% markup if you use the right formula. The normal thing would be to go to a different GNC, but because this was done during the Covid-19 situation, and that there are no other employees in that store, it’s not okay to be rude to people when they ask for a price match.As the other low reviews suggest, people should not go to this store unless the business practices are changed. What is right is right, wrong is wrong.

When the staff is actually working they’re extremely rude . All Items are marked up. The manager who claims he’s a millionaire to every female customer who walks in is a pathetic excuse for a business owner. Hope Covid takes this one next!

ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT THERE! The man who works there is insanely nice and always fun to spark a conversation with, he also always gives awesome discounts to people. So just go in and talk with him and he’ll help you out with anything you need.

Employee was extremely rude. I asked the price of an item as it was unmarked and he responded with an attitude that they were all the same price. Decided to not give this man any business and walked out with out buying anything. Definitely won’t return.Edit: was looking to buy pre workout, he said it was $49.99 googled it and gnc online sells it for $39.99.Purposely doesn’t put price tags so he can over charge.

Store owner refused price match. Very rude. Would not recommend this gnc to anyone go to a different one. Will not take price match.

HORRIBLE experience. Owner actually told me he is the only one around so he charges what ever he wants to charge me. For an item that I bought around $5 on other GNC, he scanned it and computer showed $6 with taxes he override the transaction to $20. So I told him about this and he actually got mad and said that now it was $30 because he can do whatever he wanted or charge me $100. He was hyperventilating and everything. I would not support local commerce who just want to deceive customers and I believe that no one would want to be tricked everytime gets to this store. I chose my terms and chose to pay $0.00. ;)

Im curious why people act the way they act? I always assumed customer service was making people feel welcomed, despite the color of ones skin or scars on ones body. The man literally didnt say a word. And while I was briefly looking at what vegan options they had (which isnt many. Step it up gnc), the white man probably in his 50s? pulls out a chair and sits down to look at me. Its honestly the most uncomfortable I have ever felt entering any store. No hello or have a nice day. The unknown is fearful because the brain doesnt know how to process the unknown. But fear not, I have my own money. As much as I want that Larrys cookie, I cant support something/someone so blatantly disgusting.

Horrible customer service

Buyers beware! I went in to buy caffeine supplements. Had bought them before at other GNCs. When I went to pay, was told they cost $20. I looked up the price on the GNC website and saw they were listed for $8.99. Guy was unfriendly and would not match price. be prepared to pay 2x other GNCs, or better yet avoid...

Guy purposely doesnt put price tags on some of his items so he can overcharge at the counter. He tried to charge me 79 dollars for a 57 dollar whey protein.

I wish I can give this GNC a negative star review. I went in to purchase Performix SST energy drink and the sales associate didnt even bother to help me and said I guess not when I asked if they had it. Worst attitude and a serious prick.
