So much better than going into the big store as long as you just need the basic essentials. In/out with no problems and everyone is friendly and helpful.

Tony & Rob, Walmart employees gave GREAT customer service to us not long ago. Husband was using the stores electric cart when it stalled in the store, right before we were about to self check out. Rob noticed and went to the front entrance, bringing another cart over to my husband and helped transfer groceries from the stalled cart to the one he just brought over. I had a cart filled with groceries as well. Rob was on his break, while he was helping us! Thank you Rob for your act of kindness! Tony assisted with checking us out which made things go a lot smoother and quicker for us that day.

Eh.So, this place used to be one of the best places to shop here. Staff was nice, fast checkout-But it’s gone downhill. Now they only have SELF CHECKOUT And all the employees do is watch you do THEIR Job. I understand if it’s for COVID reasoning, but what about the elderly?

Very happy with store and shopping. Many items available for a grocery only market. Store also has on line shopping available, and too associates who directed us to items were very nice. Pet food selection and treats very impressive for a smaller grocery store and health and beauty area was quite large also. Definitely a must shop store.

It was a great place to go and ill keep going i just dont like the self check out i guess im old fashioned and like to talk to the person there and let them bag it all up for me

I prefer this location from the superstore down the road when Im just looking for groceries and water full up. The staff is great here and with the multiple self check out set up, getting in and out is a breeze. Walmart prices without the Walmart hassle.

Loved the Basicness of the Store. Quiet simple yet had everything we needed. Very different from Super Centers .After shopping we sat in parking lot and enjoyed the 70s and 80s tunes. Enjoyed the place .

The store is very well organized. You canlocate the aisle and bin number of your items on your to purchase list on the website prior to going to the store or in store, if necessary. The checkout system is fabulous as an employee will assign you to a register when you arrive at the front of the line waiting to checkout. The system at this store is the best solution for a safe and quick checkout that I have seen.

I thought Fresh & Easy was the only grocery chain that did away with cashiers and only used self check-outs?

Incredibly kind and helpful workforce. All people are ready to assist you to find the items you seek. Store is clean and well supplied. Prices are reasonable and hours of operation are convenient. Best marketplace in North Port!

I dont normally have anything to say about Walmart but these employees at this location are very helpful. They know where everything is in the store and help me check out every time Im there. Great work!

I love this walmart! Its much much smaller than the giant super stores so I can get in and out quickly and they have everything I need.

Very disappointed in my favorite grocery store. After shopping here for 6 years they have discontinued store check out personnel. They only have self checkout. Not good when you have a basket of produce to check out. Now I have to find a store and a pharmacy for our needs.Loved all the store employees. They always were friendly and helpful.

I read some of these reviews about this place. An let me tell you, there are some whiny, self centered people. Things are becoming more and more electronic. This is the future, if you cant figure it out, you better start because more and more stores are becoming less employee dependant. This store is very clean, and well stocked. Its a little bit further of a drive compared to the big store on Tamiami, but thats ok, Ill drive that extra mile to buy the necessities I need.

Convenient, good produce. Not quite as much stock/selection as your standard walmart (of course) but is accessible and accommodating to your weekly grocery needs. Staff is always very nice too!

Ive shopped at this Walmart from the day it opened. Still shop here more then any other store. If I can buy it here. This is the Walmart I go to. Very very happy with this store.

Self checkout only cash registers is convenient and much faster than regular checkout

Will not be shopping there anymore. Just went yesterday and havent been in months. I dont like to self check out. Cashier get 3 weeks of training and we are supposed to jump on and wait for someone to assist you.

I dislike the new self check out area. Other than that its good .clean and usually have what I need.

Theres not any registers.. its all self check out while they have 5 people to watch you doing there job.. I dont go there if Im getting more than 3 items... I refuse doing someone elses job... Id rather go to Publix or Winn Dixie to shop

A lot of items scan higher than the shelf price. They do not honor the shelf price. There are no cashiers.

The Neighborhood Market has all the great grocery values of a Superstore without the huge parking lot, long waiting lines and hurried (impatient) customers. A much lower keyed shopping experience. It limits shopping at the superstore to occasions when you really are shopping the other departments such as clothing, electronics, etc.

It was a small shopping trip, I didnt need much. Everything I needed was available.It was kind of busy at the checkout lines, but they were moving along pretty quickly. People were social distancing.

I like the Marketplace because for me its a little more convenient for me with a small child. Im able to get in and out getting what I need. Their all very nice in this store as well as accommodating to my needs. I appreciate all the staffs hardwork during this horrible pandemic our country is going through. Very clean store, extremely helpful associates, the electric carts actually operate. Full pharmacy, vitamins and food, good looking produce and meats. I will definitely be returning.

Its convenient, close to everything. Clean and easy to get in and out of.

As you enter and exit the store they are taped off directing the public where to go in and where to exit. There is also someone stationed at the entrance and exit but, when you go in the store I noticed that there were only a small amount of customers that actually had face covering on. Im not sure if customers dont understand how severe covid-19 is or if they just dont care.I saw one customer squeezing several loaves of bread trying to decide I guess which one she wanted. They were not many customers in the store that actually paid attention to the arrows on the floor. At the checkout counters it was amazing. Everyone was very friendly and cleaned thoroughly after each customer. Thumbs up to all of the employees working there. Thanks to each and every one of you for a job well done.

I love the Walmart Neighborhood Market. I wasnt very happy when they turned all the check out lanes into Self scan lanes recently.

Will not shop at this store they only offer self check outs, and they profit by you ringing and bagging your own groceries. Boycott this store.

Update: Walmart is now entirely self checkout, which is insanely frustrating.No longer pleasant to shop at Walmart. Stationing an employee at the front door to confront customers about masks is ridiculous. The company says they don’t want to cause any confrontations yet they ask for it with their staffing decisions. The only plus to all of these theatrics for less than 2% is the grocery pick up option. I wish there were more non chain grocery store options in my area so I could support them instead.

My Mother 95 went yesterday she only shops once a month and is disabled. No cashiers at all. Only self checkout which she cannot do so this store has lost a shopper. She will now go to Publix across the road.Wake up Walmart before all your customers go elsewhere

The employees at this Walmart are great. I’ve had multiple great experiences here. The workers are always asking if I need help and showing me the best deals. One time I was in there and had my hands full a worker stopped what he was doing to help me get eggs and even checked them to make sure they weren’t broken or anything!

Always a pleasant experience when I go in. For instance... tonight I stopped in about 30 minutes before close. In most stores the employees are counting the minutes until they can go home. But not here! There were 3 employees that I interacted with, and they were all incredibly nice and had genuine smile on their faces. The first young woman I encountered asked me if she could help me find anything and was helpful not only pointing me in the right direction, but ACTUALLY WALKING WITH ME TO THE PRODUCT. She then proceeded to ask me if I needed to find anything else. While standing in line at the checkout counter a second young woman asked how I was doing and made some small talk with me and asked if I found everything that I needed. When it was my turn with the cashier the young girl inquired about my visit and asked if i found everything that i needed. She also made good conversation with me, even for a few minutes after my sale was complete. It really made me feel welcomed, especially since it was so close to closing time. Also, not to bash the younger generation, but each one of these ladies were probably late teen to early 20s. Thats unusual for this generation.I hope that the General Manager of this location knows that he/she has some very great employees working for him/her!

I was there yesterday. They not only have all self checkout which is very disappointing but as I walked in to the store I noticed that the sign Masks required was taken down.

Its a neigh ourhood Walmart..... its just like a big Walmart, but with all the clothing, electrics and garden stuff condensed out of it. Staff are usual Walmart standard of helpful and friendly, and prices are normal Walmart prices. If you want a quick easy Walmart groceries shop then this is the place to go.
