Store is always clean and well stocked. Employees are very pleasant. Recently I had difficulty printing some pictures, Jay, one of the supervisors went out of his way to be helpful. Always a pleasant experience shopping there.

I would rate it a zero if I could. I was put on hold for 45 mins. I had enough time to pick up my daughter and drive to the relocation. When I got there, as assumed. There were over 10 employees behind the counter only 3 visible were helping assist customers. When I asked whos job it was to answer the phone and they said they were too busy to even get to that with all of the 3 cars in the drive thru lane.

Slowest Pharmacy ever. Was told 1 hr for my daughters prescription. Came back and he and a half later and still not ready. The drive thru line is more than slow!! I asked for cherry and specifically said no bubblegum flavor for my daughter and after waiting 1 hr and 45 mins for the RX they gave us bubblegum flavor. Horrible service

Like everyone else, if I could give 0 stars, I would. The ONLY reason I use this pharmacy is because they’re contracted through my insurance and I have to if I want scripts covered.They’re consistently filling prescriptions that I’ve asked not to be filled. They’ve given me the wrong medication. They send out texts stating I can refill a script only for me to call and them tell me (on the day they stated) that it’s too soon.People rely on medication to get through their day, and expect it to be available on the date that is told to them.Their staff does not care. Everyone has a flippant, eff this job attitude - even the pharmacist. Moral of the story, if your insurance covers scripts elsewhere - GO ELSEWHERE.

Theyre out of stock on my fathers prescription every month and make him go 4-7 days without it, for the past 2 years. Last time they let me drop off a prescription for processing and waited until I pulled in my driveway to call me to come back because it wasnt In stock. The most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with in my life.

Checked online at THIS location for ERA laundry detergent. Said they carry it. So I drove to store and guess what...they dont. I asked the young girl stocking about it and all she could say was if we have it, it would be there. They dont even have a place for it on the shelf. Just frustrating😡

Worst pharmacy ever. I don’t even feel comfortable asking questions about my medications because their so cold. Like I first went in into drive thru. I waited five minutes and left to go inside. Just to go inside to wait longer and have one of their con workers in front of me talk about how she is picking up cat food for her dad. Like hello I’m here help me ??

Went to pick up my wifes prescription told it wasnt there and they didnt have it asked the manager to check the voice-mail and was screamed at by amber the pharmacist that she checks them and it wasnt there and after I left they text to inform us its ready I go back to complain and get it and informed I was screaming at them will not be coming back worst staff ever and the operations manager couldnt even care less about peoples complaints.

Basically they’re only getting the one star because you can’t put zero stars in order to post a review however where do I begin…… Not only has it taken me a week to try and get a hold of someone to understand why a script hasn’t been transferred from Walgreens to this location for a bottle of eardrops are you listening a bottle of eardrops it seems that people have better luck getting narcotics overnight then eardrops antibiotic for an ear infection then they consistently blame Walgreens! Somehow, I’ve gotten through to Walgreens on several occasions to confirm that no one from this location has contacted them in regards to the transfer of my Rx’s. Sooooo today after contacting my doctor and getting the scripts sent directly to CVS…. They are still blaming Walgreens must be nice to make another pharmacy your scapegoat. I can say this, with years and I mean years of dealing with Walgreens I’ve never had this issue I’ve also had dealings with CVS in other locations and never had this issue I can only say with certainty that this location has a serious problem either of communication, management or just pure business ethic !!!! I’ll sit here with my ear infection and let it fester while I wait for them to get it together and see if they can fill it by tomorrow God willing

Very poor service at the pharmacy. I’m truly never one to complain, but this visit was very disappointing. I sat in the drive through for over 30 minutes having to explain and re-explain who I was and the prescriptions I needed. I was told this pharmacy would have my insurance info transferred from a different pharmacy. They did not. I don’t know what the issue was, but I’ve truly never had such a poor experience at a pharmacy. I am a healthcare worker, and I understand that it is a hard job, but this was unacceptable.

Saturday June 19th ran in to purchase item and stood behind lady who was chatting with the cashier. As the “customer” went to leave i moved towards checkout. Cashier disappeared, I thought she was coming to check me out. She went outside to smoke a cigarette right in front of the door with the friend of hers who has just been inside, leaving me to use self checkout without even a word to me. I also didn’t have a cvs card to get the item priced at 15 but she wasn’t there to help me obtain one. I will never go here again.

Read the reviews but we were here on vacation and had to pick up my son’s medicine. We called ahead, trying to defeat the horrible experience, but when we went to pick it up 2 hours later they said it be another 15 minutes. Okay, no problem. Wait 15 minutes, go up and no one knows we were even here. Lady at the counter was a complete monster.

I too would rate less than 1 if I could. I have never experienced such horrible service. When one is in need for imperative medication and not feeling wellwaiting 1 hour is unacceptable, especially when I was told “few minutes”. In addition, the pharmaceutical staff were rude as I sat and watched others face similar issues. How can you tell someone “your prescription is ready” and not even have it?In addition, I heard the pharmacist yell out loud a specific medication, asking who’s it was. How embarrassing. I would certainly not want my medication known to the entire store.Shame on you CVS!!!!! I will never step foot in your door again.

Whoever manages the pharmacy needs to be more responsible. Theres no way a pharmacy should be out of stock on imperative heart medication, let alone on the first of the month when most people are refilling their prescriptions. Ive just waited three days to get my medication. I would never have kept my management position if I failed to anticipate/order what my clientele needed at or on their payday, especially first of the month SS customers.

I wish I could rate this lower than 1 star. Drive thru is always a long wait even with only 3 cars in front of you! Today I waited over 45 minutes in line even though I was told my prescription would be ready at 5 the day before. When I finally got to the window I was told it was NOT ready! I was told I could COME BACK, no way I was not going to chance coming back and waiting again. I apologize to the people behind me BUT I had already waited much to long to come back!DO NOT GO THERE!!! NEVER GO THERE!!! How did they ever get a 2.1 rating read the current reviews. 1 star is way to much for them!

They’re extremely rude In the pharmacy. They never have my scripts ready when they say they’re ready. They do not care to answer your questions. Everyone has a bad attitude, even just during a normal pick up check out. I’m thinking it’s bad management and maybe not every employees fault, but you can’t run a pharmacy like that it’s dangerous and careless and I actually hate picking up my scripts once a month and this is the only place I can to fill them near me 🙃 just mad unfortunate..

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever experienced. The first time I used them I left crying and said I’d never return well now our insurance company is making us use CVS I am in bed with Positive Covid and severe covid symptoms trying to not have to go to an ER and the pharmacist has made my husband return three times to the pharmacy for my meds!The insurance has new cards with the new year but the numbers and everything are the same and said employee refuses to look up the account without the new cards! Never seen anything like this! Sun pharmacy of Venice is my favorite! If you can use local they actually care about people! From now on I’m using them even without insurance! Because CVS of North Port what a joke you are! Working in healthcare I am absolutely disgusted especially for the seniors who I serve! Unbelievable! So grateful I have an advocate in my husband and feeling so sad for those doing this alone!

One of the worst pharmacies around short staffed say they are 4 days behind on filling customers who live here year round because snow birds are back! My prescriptions were suppose to be ready at 11 am today it is 4:26 pm I just called and she said she still need a half hour!! I would give them negative ratings if allowed. To spare tons of unnecessary details.. We had two awful experiences. They include a two day waste of time and gas not to mention shear frustration and exhaustion.. Do not send your children here to get covid testing!!! They refuse them by stating something is needed from the parent that neither CVS or the minute clinic know where to find it. If you are the parent and go with the child they still refuse to help.

Easily the worst pharmacy staff I have ever had to deal with in 35+ years of dealing with pharmacies. The staff is incredibly rude, cold, unhelpful, and appears to be bothered by simply having to fetch a bottle off of a shelf and put it in a bag. Every visit somehow manages to be worse than the last, and if there was another pharmacy within 30 miles that ordered the medication my family needed I would drive there. They have hired someone new that works the drive through and somehow she is even more rude than the rest of them. Avoid this place at all costs if you can get your help elsewhere.

I was hesitant to switch here because of some of the reviews. But, I’ve never had such good service froma Pharmacy. Their computer system is totally up to date. Staff are more efficient than any I’ve dealt with here. It was very good in IL, also. They are kind, helpful. Love CVS in general but this one is awful. They dont call you if theres problems with your script or to tell you when scripts are ready. More than once the pharmacist LOST my script. I have to say that when i first read the reviews i was very nervous to use this pharmacy especially being im from out of state but this had to be the best experience i have ever had at a CVS pharmacy including the ones in NY. The tech was extremely sweet and they did not give me a hard time at all. So not sure why people are so harsh because its definitely not what my experience was. I will continue to use this location when im visiting North Port !!!!!!

The pharmacy at this CVS is the worst I have ever been to. My husband waited two days for a prescription sent from the ER. When I picked it up, two days after his release from the hospital, it showed it was filled on the day he was released from the hospital. I checked every single day and was told they had not received it. If we werent forced to use CVS by Medicare, I wouldnt be going here.

Horrible. Every week I use the money gram service here and this one particular employee..Kerry I believe always fusses when i reach up by the cashiers desk. She looks at my Drivers liscense, then asks me to pronounce my name loudly etc...I never go through this with any other employee. I have been using this kiosk for months...she is the only one who acts standoffish. The only reason Im writing this is because the mannerisms of the other cashiers who I get sometimes are so welcoming...unfortunately I always get this woman...its as though shes judging you while carrying out her duties..she watches me from top to bottom because she attempts to help....

TWICE in only SEVEN days our drs office called in prescription for very strong antibiotic for my son (venomous bite that was spreading infection up his arm and we are trying to avoid hospitalization). TWICE in only SEVEN days we called this pharmacy and were told the prescription would be ready at a certain time for pickup. TWICE in SEVEN days we drive to this CVS and wait in line at the time they told us it would be ready for pick-up and TWICE in SEVEN days we are told they dont even have the medication IN STOCK!!!!!!!Now once, ok, someone made a mistake, let it go, drive all the way into a nearby town to get the meds and let it go, but seriously North Port CVS, TWICE???? The SAME misinformation!!??!! In just seven days? I suggest that you look at your system and STOP giving out misinformation this frequently if you want to stay in business. You have already lost mine thats for sure.

Caution CVS pharmacy will rip you off. I filled a prescription for a 30 day supply of eyedrops after having Lasix surgery with two refills. They gave me all three bottles which I did not need after paying $100 and change. When I spoke with the actual pharmacist she told me I could not return the two extra bottles They gave me that I did not need. Back to wallgreens I go. Extremely rude service how does she keep her job? I will never again step foot into CVS!!!

Had to pick up my sick child’s rx, was called in from urgent care at 9:15am when I left the office. I called to confirm before taking a sick child out of the house & into the car and out of our car, and they said “yes- we have it- will be ready in 15 min”.. I brought him in, picked up Tylenol while there.. waited on line in the pharmacy behind 4 people while holding a crying sick toddler- to be told “I apologize, whoever told you it’s ready was mistaken. Call the dr and have them resend it”.. and called the next customer. I called the dr- she resent it and said “i sent it, but I’ll send it again”. Went back at 11, not ready. Went home, let him relax and try to nap.. went back at 5- was told yes it’s there but won’t be ready for 20 minutes. Went back at 6:30, NOT READY. 7:15 went through drive through and waited behind 3 cars to be told their computers are down and to come inside. I said sharply at the man “my sick child is finally asleep in the car seat, I’m not about to wake him to come in. I’ve been here numerous times and been inconvenienced enough.” Called the dr and had it sent to another location. WORST PHARMACY EVER- take the ride to another location to save the stress and headache. FYI, called corporate also.

The store is fine, needs upkeep. Pharmacy however is disturbingly awful. Don’t give a damn about patients, half the techs don’t know what the hell is going on. They don’t know why your prescription isn’t ready or why they sent it back to the dr and neither does the doctor because they didn’t explain what needed to be done. never seen such awful service in any other place. I wish I could give it 0 stars and I would 100% go somewhere else but Walmart and Walgreens don’t take my insurance

The front staff are very kind and helpful. The pharmacy staff is in dire need of a customer service course. Having to wait 2 hours for pain meds for a child is ridiculous and cold hearted in my opinion. I dont think my child is special but what sort of corporate monster would allow that to happen. I will be taking my business to Walgreens where the staff has more compassion and seem to care about their customers.
