The art on the wall is wonderful. Alexander explained that it was the owners own photographs. Very cool. The Ramen was legit. Forest was helpful with information. Things were spaced well. Bathroom is also in an excellent location. Felt safe at 11pm.

I just discovered this location, and I have to say that it absolutely feels like the premier gaming spot in this part of the county. The table space in the main gaming area, alone, is more than all but one location in the area can offer, and then you add in even more private rooms in which you can host a D&D or 40k game. And even with that much space, theres still a crowd enough to pack it in when things get busy!The staff are nice guys, as are the folks who show up. The gaming atmosphere is very welcoming to new players and makes you feel right at home.The food selection far exceeds the standard fare that most game stores offer, though obviously appealing to the palate of the standard gamer (lots of fried, salty, and sweet foods on offer). The prices are going to be slightly higher than what youd pay for similar food from a dedicated restaurant, and the kitchen is only open Friday/Saturday (when the crowd shows up), but thats to be expected as the kitchen is a side business.The only thing thats lacking would be the selection of gaming products. If I were rating this primarily as a gaming store, Id have to lower it a few stars because they have a small counter of Magic singles/packs/boxes and thats mostly it. Bear in mind that theyre a newer store, and may stock more product as time goes on, but for now youll most likely need to get your stuff elsewhere.

Now this place, is just amazing. Magic, D&D, Tabletops, Fantasy card games, the staff is great, nice local feel and comfort to the place. Love it. I go every Friday as a host of a D&D game! It is amazing.

Looked like an awesome place to play and it was very busy with people playing games.Pictures posted are very misleading on Google reviews, was in town visiting expecting to shop a local FLGS, and they had hardly any product to purchase, the pictures didnt match the inside.For a local, I would recommend, but if you are visiting, may not be worth the trip.

Just moving to the North Port area I wasnt sure of any comic book stores over here. This one came up and my wife and I decided to check it out and we were not disappointed. To very small store and is actually set up closely for tabletop games but there is a pretty decent little selection of comics around the sides of the store. The staff seemed very polite and friendly and the prices for some of the Comics were very comparable to what Ive seen elsewhere. Im sure go back to get a longer and better look at the place but for now I would Definitely give it 5 stars.

Just moved to Florida and I came by to find a new game shop to frequent and this will be that spot! Super awesome place with private rooms dedicated to all sorts of nerd stuff like mtg, dnd, warhammer, board games, video games etc. Really good food too! Got some tatertots and vegan nugs that were air fried and it was delicious. 10/10 place any nerd would enjoy

Thanks again for the info.Old review below. Apparently they are in a relocating phase and that was the reason for the flucuating hours.Looks cool but its never open. Hours posted on the door and google arent accurate. Stores been closed within the posted open hours last 3 times Ive tried to go there. Like today, I tried at 12:21pm google says they are open, their door says they are open at noon but the place is empty and doors locked.

My friend Justin invited me to a D&D session at this location and it was a great experience. The tables had a ton of space and the chairs where comfortable. It was great they had affordable snack options and drinks at the counter. Comic selection was great. The was owner and staff was really friendly as well. I will be back to play again.

Coming from someone who gets serious social anxiety in public- let me just say, Forest (one of the owners) made me feel so comfortable. I was there with my fiancé and I was so comfortable that I was able to get my homework done. Not something I get done at very many places. Definitely one of my new favorite places to go- even if it’s almost an hour away. 🤟

Great staff. Great atmosphere. Great selection of comics and anything else you may need. Its clean, well organized and not your average drafty dust bowl. If you wanna come hang out and play a console game.. or play some card games all is welcome. Beginner or master you will feel welcome here. The staff and a lot of their regulars are happy to help people learn. no pressure, no bullying. just fun times.

Awesome card/comic book shop. The staff are wonderful and very nice. My husband was looking for a place to play Magic The Gathering and enjoyed this shop very much. They host a lot of different trading card tournaments and also a fun and casual place to chill and play games. They also have a good stock of great quality products.

So its just before Christmas, I went in looking for some very specific items for my lady. The guy behind the counter, was knowledgeable of all merchandise I was seeking, hooked me up with a few cards I needed free of charge, and discounted my total for the holiday. Hands down, best experience Ive had shopping to date. I could not possibly like this place more, favorite gaming and comic shop bar none.

Awesome store with plenty of games and popular comics. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There are gamers that frequent this location that are more than willing to let you join and will teach you games. There are even game systems hooked up to TVs for anyone to play and often a good movie playing on one of the TVs.

Great staff, and very helpful. We always have a great time talking comics, movies, tv shows, and whatever else comes up in conversation. I go there once a week, and am never disappointed when i leave. Would recommend to anyone who likes gaming or comics.

Good place to go especially if you enjoy different types of gaming. Ive been going since they opened and the staff is great to hang with. They even have a few dungeons and dragons groups that show up for the fun too!

As a girl, coming into this shop and not knowing anything about comics or card games, it was a little intimidating. The owners are crazy welcoming, and the community is so great and will help you learn the games without making you feel as though you are stupid for not knowing or catching on as quick. I love the environment, the people, the games, the snacks, the layout. Its a very family friendly place to hang out and have a great time.

I made a quick visit to this store to help a friend out. The owner and staff are very friendly and grateful for everyone who attends their events and comes to their store and that truly is a breath of fresh air. You can tell theyve worked very hard to get where theyre at. Theyve got a clean store, with a lot of cool things they offer that most stores do not. Turnouts for TCG tournaments seem to be large. They also offer a bit of console gaming and tabletop as well. This is one of the best places in SWFL for gaming.

When you walk into this very clean store. You see a very well layed out place for group gaming. Be it cards, board or video. The setup is very welcoming. Lets not forget comic books. They have a very good selection. Mostly art based over popularity. Sure can you get the new hottest Marvel comic book, yes, but while you are looking for that one you might find another book that just showcases an artists ability to draw a graphic novel. Whatever it is you need they can either get it, will get it or you can special order it. Give them a shot.

Absolutely superb experience every time I go in to PopNComics, which is saying a lot as I am there multiple days a week. Friendly, knowledgeable and entertaining staff working in a vibrant environment of comics and games. Highly suggested, will definitely be back.

I love this place. They have a strong Force of Will community and their Magic community is super friendly. Comics are up to date. Just got on a pull list. They also have warhammer tables. I am impressed.

After careful consideration I realize it was harsh of me to leave a review so inaccurate. I’ve been going to Pop N Comics since they opened their doors back in 2017. The guys there are phenomenal and treat you like no less than family. I allowed my own personal feelings and emotions to cloud my judgement over a simple matter. If your looking to Hang out and play cards in a family friendly environment this is the place to have your fill of fun. Fantastic community for Magic, Yugioh, D&D and much more.

This is an amazing store. Not only do they have one of the largest arrays of comics that Ive seen, they do dabble in providing other services. There are weekly tournaments for games like Magic the Gathering and Yu-Gi-Oh! The community is really supportive and going here is time well spent.

First of all let me start with this the staff is awesome,. Know why I took my 10 year old daughter in there as she is now getting into comics and I like to encourage that. they were helpful finding her a comic and warning me one of the comics was really not appropriate for her which I appreciate. I go there to buy my stuff and it also has a spot to play games RPG card or board games. Ive never had a bad experience at popncomics.

This is less comic book store and more role playing game location. The comics were shoved to one corner with many of them in boxes. The bulk of the store was tables and chairs for D&D players and whatnot.When we walked in, the workers were playing a game and not one person helped us. They kept playing. We wont return.

Wonderful and helpful staff. Brough my kids in and staff was so attentive, discussing all the latest developments in the comic series. They are building up their back issue comics. Nice place to hange out, play some games and get what you need.

My experience is, if they don’t have it and you want it, they’ll find a way to get it for you and they have come through every time. That said, the owners are incredibly accommodating and enthusiastic and, as a result, the numerous events we’ve attended in store have led to some pretty great friendships.

Was looking for a DBS community and found so much more instead. Ive met some friendly people and the staff is top notch. Keep it guys.

Popncomics is a wonderful addition to the gaming community port charlotte really needed. They care about what they do and care about the customers. They host awesome events and their prices are fair. I give them 5 stars and Ive never had an issue. As an MTG player they support the player base and are advocates for growing the gaming community. Gaming is a great way to socialize, make friends and keep someones mind active. If I had any suggestions going forward Its to try to get advertising further into the community. Keep kids away from drinking and have them do something fun that keeps them engaged.

If you enjoy Comic Books or playing Card Games like Magic The Gathering then PNC or PopnComics is the most epic place to be for all your Comic Books and Card Gaming needs. Awesome place to make new friends as well. Do yourself a favor and visit PNC, youll have a blast.

Its a cool place to go for magic, however if you want to play anyother card game they dont sell it and they force magic down your throught. One of the things I was most disappointed at about the store was that they got rid of the consoles in the store. I am not a console player, but I felt that particular station is what seperated them from being just a store. The last thing that I want to point out is that one of the managers there is rude. If it does not have to do with magic he does not care.
