What a great place! 1st time visit and got a great impression of how they are. Didnt try to push anything on me, just the services I wanted - but of course great recommendations of things they suggested.They even came to my work and fixed my tire! How up front everything was and how they didn’t try and push for upsells and sales gimmicks. They were also very honest. Went in for a potential head gasket leak. They recommended an engine clean up to make sure they can find the leaks more visible. They could of easily said they found a lead and to do a head gasket repair.

Friendly staff, and recommendations from others made me feel comfortable using the Christian Brothers service center for my alternator issue. Getting the car in quickly and having the work done in a reasonable amount of time was also key why I used them.

I have been taking my vehicle to CBA since I purchased it- It is the only shop I have used since I moved to FL 4 yrs ago- I would honestly not take my car anywhere else. The staff is amazing. Friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating and professional. I am the daughter of a mechanic so I’ve been in my fair share of shops in my life and this one is sooo clean and organized! CBA has always done me right with cost- and always done good work. I would recommend CBA to everyone!

They arent very honest at Christian Brothers. There not straight up with the pricing and they dont fix the problem. You bring your car there 5xs and they dont fix it right. Dont waste your time with this place.

Light came in showing low tire pressure on front left! I was visiting in the North Port area!So went to Christian Brothers to see about having tire checked and get air put into tire! BThey checked all four tires and found the 2 in back were under inflated and both front tires were over indlated!They checked them for leaks etc. And they did not charge me any money for this service! I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of car repairs!They were friendly, professional and very helpful!

I had CBs repair my 20 yr.old Buick Century in Tega Cay, S.Carolina, just this past April. I was AMAZED, and couldnt be happier with the results. I was able to get back to Florida, safely.Fast forward: Now I live near Ft.Lauderdale and have a newer car, but theres no CBs in this area yet, and Ill have to drive 2 hrs. & 40 mns., one way, to get to the one nearest me in North Port.WHEN ARE YOU GUYS GONNA BE ABLE TO SERVE THOSE OF US ON THE GOLD COAST..?!!

We lost a car due to their negligence. My Avalon stalled out on the interstate, had it towed to them to take a look at it. They wanted around $200 just to take a look at it. The ignition coil on cylinder #2 blew up. The mechanic broke the ignition coil and spark plug which resulted in the broken parts falling directly into the engine. We ended up taking it to a shop in Port Charlotte and they told us that it was going to cost over $4,000 to take the engine apart and get the broken pieces out. We ended up scraping the car for $500. We filed a complaint and talked to the manager, its been over a year and we have not heard anything from them. I do not recommend this place, also their services are overpriced for the quality of work you receive.

I’ve never been to an auto repair shop that made me feel so good, despite having to spend money on getting my car fixed. Very knowledgeable staff. Great warranties. Christian Brothers took my concern for the brakes on my truck and evaluated them and supplied me with recommendations for replacement. They gave me what I thought was very fair pricing and completed the repairs in just a few hours. I am from NY, and pretty sure everything was done better and cheaper. Do NOT recommend! I had a transmission fluid flush after which my car began to shift erratically. Called and was told - you have an older car, give it some time, etc. One week later still shifting erratically. Took it to another shop who determined the transmission was 4 quarts LOW in fluid. Transmission could have been completely damaged had this not been corrected. This is not a difficult service and I am shocked that this occurred. Will not be returning to this shop for future repairs.

I’m from (Maryland), down for the season. I needed auto repair on my older vehicle. I searched the web and came across this business, because of the professional website and online appointment request. The request was answered rapidly and vehicle scheduled within 2 days.Staff was very professional, office and garage VERY neat and clean.I received a quote for work after initial inspection and work agreed upon. The owner of the business drove me to my RV resort and back to pick up my vehicle after completing the work.What more can I say, If you want this type of concierge service and trust, you need this auto repair shop.

Christian brothers ordered replacement headlights for my 2007 Yukon. Headlights frequently yellow in Floridas intense heat over time. They swapped out the headlights. The next morning I noticed that there was a issue with one headlight. It was not seated correctly and the seal was allowing humidity to collect inside of lens. Josh said no problem, Ill order replacement. Ive been on this earth for over 70 years and everyone there that I have had any dealings with treats everyone with respect and common courtesy, just like the old days. I wish Richard and his crew many years of success and good fortune .

Incredibly out of line prices compared to national pricing standards. Needed some work done on my car National price pricing standard said it would be about 300 to 415 they wanted $1,860

They take very good care of us. We take all 3 of our vehicles there. Courteous and smiling each and every time. Go into a lot of detail of what is needed/recommended before beginning the work.

I rarely give less than three Star reviews, only when they are warranted. The team at Christian Brothers needs an overhaul. The inability to be straight and honest with customers is a bad sign of how they run their business. The lack of communication is one way to get a two Star review. I took my vehicle elsewhere and will avoid using Christian Brothers in the future. $75 oil change... conducted a $62 diagnostic without asking. Very bad impression.

I did not have an appt, but they said they would take care of it right away.I agreed to the fair price before they started the work and waited.Not shortly after, it was done.As I went to pay, I was told the service was taken care of. No charge. What a surprise and delight! Super nice owner and employees.

They are professional, courteous and have a way of making you feel like they appreciate your business. Not often can you call and have a complete new ac system put in on the same day. They were kind enough to bring me home while the work was being done. To top it off when the job was completed they delivered my car to me. All work has a warranty that works different then most. I made an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. I was greeted by Mike as I entered and he was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Everything was neat, clean and organized. Even the work bays looked great. I was given a ride to my office by a very nice gentleman in their courtesy car. They called me when my car was done and they came to pick me up when it was convenient for me. After taking care of the bill, my car was waiting right outside for me. They really know how to treat their customers! I will definitely use them again for my automotive needs.

More recently I was in there for an oil change and mentioned my tire was having an issue. They found the screw stuck in the underside and had it completely taken care of! It was incredible. A great experience! I had a 1:00pm appointment, car was taken in a few minutes later and everything was done by 2:15. The Staff was courteous and they kept me informed about the status on the car and concerns they had about a couple of items. The entire team at Christian Brothers was helpful and accommodating. We were travel from Michigan for a family vacation when the car censors activated approx 80 miles from our destination. We contacted our insurance company whom provided us with a tow truck service and repair shops located in the proximity.The tow truck transported us to Christian Brothers, where we were greeted with helpful staff. The waiting room with clean and comfortable, and all of the car stalls were noticeably clean as well.The technician diagnosed our vehicle problem while we were at lunch. When we returned he informed us of the problem and amount of time it was going to take to fix.While we waited for the car to be repaired, the staff continued to exceed expectations along the way.It is one thing to need a car repair, it is another to break down on the side of the road. And then breaking down while one vacation adds a whole additional level of stress. Then having all this happen while your 8 year old and his dog are along with you, tops it all. So I have be honest Ive never used Christian Brothers for any type of repair to my vehicle but after what they did for me I will definitely be going there from now on a few days ago I was rushing to leave for work and leave to me to lock my keys in my car! Neighbors of mine who are customers of theirs called them and explained what happened and within 10 minutes not only did they come to my apartment complex but they got my door opened on my truck and said no charge for what they did! So to me that speaks volumes of the quality of the individual who saved the day for me but also the people who work there and who own the business! And thank God for my neighbors also because without them Id would have never made it to work if they didnt know the great people at Christian Brothers Automotive! I will definitely be using them from now on just based on that experience alone! Thank you again for all of your help! Can never thank you enough for that! 1)Readiness- They accepted our car immediately Replaced brakes, rotors, radiator, oil and coolant fluid within 24 hrs.from stepping into the shop. That is a lot of work for that time period provided that our radiator had to be ordered. 2) Attention to details- better than BMW dealer shop Better than any shop we have serviced our car. 3) Prices- VERY GOOD AND DOWN TO EARTH 4) WARRANTY- as good as, or better than any other shop including BMW dealer shops. 5) NEED I SAY MORE.....?

Very nice staff respectful they all have smile when u walk in but I’d rather use herpan auto he found me the same transmission that they found an was gonna charge me a total of seven hundred to put my new one in an found me the new used one for around 300 bucks the only reason I let these people do it is because I didn’t feel like dealing with tow truck service but I’ll never take my vehicle here ever again I’m spending 2235 an some change I think hey should change their name that’s so not Christians work over charging people but I’m gonna pay it just won’t ever go back they charged me five hundred and some change to fix some part on my mustang last year say they did full check but my engine gave out the following week so I won’t be surprised if my truck brakes down after they’re finished but that much money I will push the issue I’m a student in school trying to get my life together don’t take advantage of people who really don’t have it

Highly prices, long waits, save your time and money by going somewhere else!

I was looking around for a local auto shop and was very fortunate to stumble across this one. Really great, genuine people here. They offer courtesy rides, that alone is a plus. Not only that but the employees are extremely helpful, and the work they perform speaks for itself. Clean, profession building with a nice lobby (plush couches) with complimentary coffee and snacks on tap. Ive been to shops who nickle and dime ya, but the mechanics here will tell you if you really need it done within the week or it can wait 6 months or so. Plus, the estimates they give are usually right on the nail. If you got a issue with your ride, its definitely worth a trip here, even if you live 30 miles out. Overall experience is 11/10.~Noah

Got in same day without having to wait for one or 2 weeks for a appointment. Thats what I call service. They even took me home and offered to take me back when vehicle was done and if I might add same day the job was completed. I worked in the trade 45 years before retirement I know how important service is.

Took my last 3 cars here before moving to NY. My mom took hers today. They do a great job! I love the free diagnostic with the oil change. Theyre nice and affordable. They do their jobs efficiently and as fast as possible even though theyre so busy!

The facility is very comfortable, spotless restroom. The staff are courteous and professional. They offer water and coffee while you wait. They are very fair and informative when working on my car. We always take our car there because we feel they are very honest.

I needed a new engine in my vehicle and they checked around for the most reasonably priced used engine. As soon as the engine was delivered to them they started the work right away and had my car back the next day! Low price for the engine which has a 6 month warranty and lowest labor prices I have found. Definitely going to continue to bring all my vehicles there for repairs! I recommend them to everybody!

I have been going here for years for basic maintenance and for my oil changes. They do a GREAT job but are a little pricey. I do trust them and would recommend them to anyone! They always do a good job on my car and I really cant complain. Their staff is very nice and friendly and usually pretty good at explaining things even though I know NOTHING about cars. Overall they are the BEST!

Wonderful experience. I took my 2008 Buick to Christian Brothers Automotive after being taken by another establishment. I am the daughter and sister of Master Mechanics and grew up under the hood of the family cars. My father raised me to be able to change my own oil, do my own tune up, breakdown-clean and rebuild a carburetor, but then all that changed with computerization. Yet, I still know when Im being duped. Thank Goodness for Christian Brothers! They are honest, caring and reasonably priced. They have a customer for life in me. I would recommend them to everyone!

Called and spoke with owner...Jason. I had some questions regarding getting a used vehicle I was considering purchasing, inspected...pre-sale...just to be safe. Jason took the time to explain their service...which by the way was very reasonably priced...and allowed me to ask a variety of questions. I felt like he was very attentive to my concerns and did not try to rush me off the phone to attend to his busy schedule of in the shop, paying customers. I liked his demeanor and approach to my needs...even though h knew Im from out of state and he would only have had one opportunity to get my business. I can see why he has a lot of positive posts online!!!

Mike was very helpful when my Mother in Laws car broke down. We both believed it was a starter and that was exactly what it turned out to be! My check engine light came on while I was on a trip from Fort Lauderdale to Tampa, I was concerned so I looked for the closest automotive repair shop from my location and found Christian Brothers automotive.Nick ran a quick diagnostic on my vehicle and offered further services, I was in and out very quickly and am tremendously thankful for the friendliness of the staff. The office waiting area was also very clean and comfortable.This was my first time at a Christian Brothers store and I can say I will definitely be using them next time I need an auto repair shop!

While on a trip to South Florida, our vans air conditioning suddenly stopped working and it was in the high 80s! It became miserably hot quickly! Thank God we got off I-75 at the exit where Christian Brothers was and found them! It was 5:30 on a Thursday afternoon. They had our AC working again, and we were on our way by a little after 6 which is their closing time. Not only did they get it working, but it was for a reasonable price! They were a true blessing and a gift from God! Thanks so much!

Quick service, excellent work and price was reasonable, especially since I didnt want to crawl under my vehicle. I was dealing with several people throughout the process but I believe the owner (or one of the owners) was the man I dealt with at checkout. What a nice guy! Retired military which was a bonus as not only did I get to support one of our local businesses I was also able to support one of our National heroes. Great place, great staff, and I will go back again.

Car hesitated starting, took it to them for diagnosis let them know up front I had a friend that was a mechanic in Bradenton. They charged me $120 for diagnosis then hit me with an $1,800 bill. I paid the diagnosis fee took it to my buddy that has a shop, got the same repair bill done for 600. Businesses are there to make money. But, theres making money and then theres making way to much money.. They say on their website how they dont want their customers to sit in a dirty environment. And thats all good well, it looks good until they hit you with triple what it cost to fix your car. So, the new building entitles them to charge that I see now, you decide if sitting in a clean environment is worth that to you.Thanks, Christian Brothers!

Never have I walked into a automotive place they everyone was soo extremely pleasant and professional.My issue was resolved within about 20 minutes. Ive been going here every time I have a problem with my car. They are actually honest and they dont charge a lot. I am so happy with the last few times I had things get checked. They cut the price in half for my transition diagnosis because nothing was wrong with it! Cant express this enough they are honest!!!!
