This is the wild west gift shop to end all gift shops! It makes a great pit stop off the highway - I ate lunch at the nearby Qdoba and then came over. There are gag gifts, post cards, toys, candy, even jewelry, cowboy hats, and moccasins. I most enjoyed the hand-carved diorama of Buffalo Bills Wild West Show that takes up the entire back of the store. Definitely worth a stop even if you dont buy anything. I ended up with postcards and a bumper sticker myself.

This is a stop you wont regret! The staff is fun and accommodating but that aside it is by far one of the most fun roadside attractions! They have old toys and candy that you will only appreciate if you are over the age of 35! And they have whips...take it from me they work per my husbands lower region. This has many great opportunities for family photos that are rich in history. Lastly, stay to see the miniature show! Very interesting show and history lesson. Never thought I would say miniatures are cool....but I have officially been proven wrong and ....miniatures ARE cool! Have a great time and yeehaw cowpokes!

Cute little gift shop with plenty to offer! They had a super cool display of the Buffalo Bills Wold West Show that the staff turned off for us to watch. We didnt go outside because it was raining, but they also had an outdoor area to explore/take pictures. The only downside was they didnt have stamps for the post cards, but that was not a big deal!

An eclectic little shopping experience. Fun environment to stroll through. Product consist of what you might normally expect to find in a touristy store. We happen to stop in on a night that there was live music in the courtyard that made for a additional fun experience. If this is along your path its certainly worth a stop. Neat little Wild Bill toy carving show as well.

Awesome place! Definitely worth time to stop by. They have a lot of souvenirs, jewelry and toys for sale. Old West Exhibit throughout the store. Free! There is a back yard area with old carriages and tipi to take pictures. Buffalo Bill’s west wild show in miniature runs every 30 minutes. Must see! All these wooden figures has been made by Ernie and Virginia Palmquist, took 12 years to complete and the presentation contains over 20,000 hand-carved pieces

It was very touristy, but they had an impressive collection of gifts, clothing and lots of interesting jams, jellies and salsas. The fort out back would be fun for kids but this was not really historically accurate. The Buffalo Bill diorama of his Wild West show was interesting. If you want to find out more about Buffalo Bill and his life, you are better off going to the Buffalo Bill Museum of the West in Cody, WY. However, for North Platte, this was a fun diversion and I am glad we went.

I love the mechanically-automated miniature Buffalo Bill Codys Wild West Show; the dedication to create such a massive display of over 3,000 hand-carved and painted wooden pieces is impressive. Use to be about making a memory, now is just about making money . Really sad..Growing up in North Platte my mom always got me a worry stone . I live over 3 hrs away now and have come up there just to get a stone . U see my mom is gone now and so she cant get me one. Now yes ur employee said I could order one . But its not the same mom always said that the stone would choose u.. I remember the staff would call us by name. the simplicity and hometown feeling of belonging. But not this last time there were teenagers all over and so much bling. I became a job to try and see what u had . And then to find out u didnt have any. STILL A GOOD PLACE YES OF COURSE!!! It just didnt feel like home anymore.

Great stop! We had a ton of fun and the ladies there were super kind and friendly! We were all intrigued by “Buffalo Bills Wild West Show” of miniatures in the back and we got some great photo-ops in the outdoor exhibit. Souvenirs are reasonably priced & there is a huge selection to choose from!! I could’ve stayed there all day. There was even a part of the store that we didn’t make it to & will have to explore next time! About thirty minutes after we left, we experienced our first hiccup in our cross-country trip BUT we had the joy of returning to retrieve our stroller that they graciously brought inside for us. Very interesting place. Reminds me of the tourist type of places I visited as a child. The outdoor area is great for kids to run around and play in. The indoors is packed with buffalo bill facts, merchandise, and trinkets. Its free to get in but there is plenty of things to buy there as well, so if you bring your kids expect to fight off the constant can I get this reaction to the vast amount of kid friendly merchandise. Cute little place to get off the highway and stretch your feet. We got there 10 minutes before close so we left the dogs in the car and raced through it. I forgot my nice camera in the car but this is very 80s 90s nostalgic. Back when there were plenty of attractions that was there for families off the exit. It was a neat miniature museum with a few giant pieces. After the quick run through I had to let the dogs out of the car and took them for a walk around to get a few cute pictures and go get gas.
